• Book smart, educated: He's most in his element talking about science and tech, generally speaking, but he's got a fairly well-rounded education. If nothing else, he can talk to you about just about anything, even if he doesn't know to do it well himself.
• Friendly, a big softy: He believes everyone deserves a chance, and it really shows. Even if someone's rumored to be a terrible person, honestly, that might make Nate gravitate towards them more rather than less. Everyone wants a friend, yeah? And everyone deserves one. Being nervous with low self-esteem, it's probably not a great idea for that someone to be him, but he can't bring himself to turn his back on someone unless they really cross a line.

biography:

herstory: Rylee Wilson was born in the town of Roanoke, Virginia to two middle-class parents. Her mother, a hair stylist who was tired of the so-called "boring" life she lived, left for New York City a few months after Rylee was born. Her father Johnathan, the owner of the local deli and sandwich shop, was heartbroken with the loss of his wife of five years. Now, he had a newborn daughter and no idea what to do. Nevertheless, Johnathan tried his best to raise Rylee as best as he possibly could.

Unfortunately, being a single parent is hard, and Johnathan wasn't around as much as he wanted to be. As a small business owner, he was constantly at work. Therefore, Rylee was left to fend for herself quite a bit. She had to grow up rather quickly, taking care of herself and the house while her father worked. Rylee never held this against her father, completely understanding that he was trying to make ends meet for their home. But the lack of parenting had a negative effect on her view of authority.

Rylee began to get in trouble in school, arriving late, skipping class, and even smoking on school property. Warnings turning to detentions, and detentions turned to suspension. That was when Johnathan hit his breaking point. The stress of his business combined with the constant messages from the high school principal about his daughter, Johnathan gave Rylee an ultimatum: either she get herself together and get into college, or she had to move out.

Realizing the anxiety she had caused her father, Rylee decided to do both. She graduated high school, got into college, and began to pursue a degree in engineering. She hasn't lost her rebellious spirit, or lack of respecting authority figures. But she has learned to keep them in check, at least while she's in school. Maybe some time, and fun, at a resort will do her rebellious side some good.

However, he received a text from said friend along the lines of, "Something came up and now I can't go. Sorry!" Having made this much progress out to the resort, Caleb decided it to be a big waste should he turn back. So, he made a new plan: enjoy the resort while he can without interacting with anybody. Of course, that's not going to happen.
