Word Building

I am always working to expand my vocabulary. I find it makes my posts more engaging. As such, I would like your assistance. Please post a word, or words that you have used to make your post more interesting, lively and vivacious. I am looking for unique, creative words.


As terms can sometimes be vexing, please also share how you would use it in a sentence.

Cacophony - The cacophony of sounds truly made her want to shut off her ears and ban music in the apartment once and for all.


Recalcitrant - The boy's recalcitrant behavior was starting to unnerve her and she had the strong urge to throw him off to the hyenas.


Pulchritudinous - His eyes were like fire, his body strong and tanned that reminded her of the desert and its sands, his lips were red, his hair like curly ink of the night. In other words, he was the most pulchritudinous man she has ever met.


Tertis - Same as above.


Cornucopia - There was a cornucopia of questions she wanted to ask. (plenty)

I have had the worst time lately. I keep using the word Blatantly in all my posts. I may need to go to a word over user meeting.
