I've decided I wanted to try some poetry, please don't expect anything good, these will just be me attempting some sort of poetry.

My current addiction is, you've guessed it, stars.

Hills of the Forgotten


Like waves rolling on the shore,


Violets swaying in the breeze,


Warmth being drowned under this force,


Disappearing behind the abyss,


Cold shadows spread over the hills.


Tears of the forgotten shone over the hills,


Are we forgotten?


Child, do you know?


Do you remember?


The tears aren't theirs, but yours.


Do you run,


Or stay?


Do you hear,


Or listen?


They waited,


They cared,


But you ran,


The hills won't forget.


The heart is easy to hear,


But hard to listen to.


The tears are but shattered dreams,


Wish upon others shattered dreams,


Fill them with love and hope,


Wish upon a star.

'Iight, 'Air, 'Anted

Small specks fall onto the window,


Like tears falling from the heavens.


Grey skies,


Filled with light,


Try all you might,


But they'll never take flight.


Coursing through the air,


Coursing through your veins,


Do I even care?


Take it for granted,


Wash away your fears,


Uproot them, don't leave them planted.
