Kenshin couched behind a fence of an old lady's house. His stomach growled in hunger for food. Kenshin himself felt like the stomach was trying to devour his whole body. His eyes laid upon Carinth sticking his head into a bush, his spiky bony tail held in the air, waving.

"What are you doing, Carinth?" Kenshin whispered, mentally chuckling at his oddities.

Carinth poked his head out of the bush, staring at Kenshin with his glowing blue eyes. Carinth didn't fully understand Kenshin's sentence, but he knew his name was being called.

"Ahavi."

Carinth let out a huff of blue fire, trudging toward his owner.


Kenshin taught Carinth some commands to follow. The command's words weren't significant to other but they were to Kenshin and Carinth. This was because they were made up by putting random vowels and consonants.

"Iopian."

Carinth blew a small stream of fire, then started to climb over the tall fence of the old lady's house.


There was a grand tree right over the fence. The tree had apples dotting every area. Carinth extended his wings and began to beat his wings, gaining altitude. Carinth flew over to the apple tree, his talons gripping one of the thick branches to support his weight. Carinth leaned in and snatched 2 apples with his jaws. The dragon lifted right off of the apple tree, the branches shaking and rustling.

"Ay! Why yu yadda gewt mah apples!"

An old lady went out of her house, screaming at the dragon.

Hota had talked to Raku about spying on Destination 18K. One of their members wouldn't be too far away doing something. Rake nodded her head. "Yes boss." She then left to go find this person. Rake headed towards this old woman house, the coordinates where 18K's members would be. I looked around and hid a little while away. I saw a man with white hair. I did't see his face yet. But I had to make sure he wouldn't see me or else he could kill me.

"Iopian."

Carinth blew a small stream of fire, then started to climb over the tall fence of the old lady's house.

An old lady went out of her house, yapping curse words at the dragon. Carinth ignored the old lady, having not much clue of what she was saying. Carinth descended out of the old woman's yard and landed besides Kenshin. Kenshin hopped onto Carinth's spiky back where the spikes were dull and didn't hurt as much. The apples were still in Carinth's jaw.

"What the hell..?" Raku looked at the members. They couldn't be serious..Apples? They're stealing apples?


Rake looked at the man on the moderate size of the dragon and saw how good looking he was. He was just as good looking as Hota.


"Wow...who knew a good looking guy like you would stoop down to this level of humanity.." She muttered.


She kept hiding behind the bushes to see if he was going to do anything else that would concern her.

Kenshin lightly tapped his foot on Corinth's rib cage. Corinth extended his wings and start to fly off to their old worn down brick house.

They flew over the trees but below the clouds. Their brick house wasn't too far away from the old lady's house. In fact, the apple tree was mostly their snack while Kenshin's other member of the gang gave him scraps of meat to cook and eat. Corinth alighted onto the ground, Kenshin swinging his legs onto one side and hopping off.

"We're home."

Kenshin announced, opening the wooden door that creaked whenever moved. There were about 4 people sitting or leaning against the wall. Most of them were boys while there were only 1 girl. Corinth followed Kenshin, holding his wings tight to his body to squeeze into the door friend.

"Velkominn."

A guy spoke up. He had dirty blonde matted hair and a few scars under his left eye. The man was a year older than Kenshin and he was taller. The man's name was Aki and he was the leader of the Destination 18K. Aki had a slight British accent to his monotone voice.

Raku had started to follow the dragon, running towards his house.

She stopped when the dragon had stopped. "He lives in this? What a dump.." She said to herself.


She hid behind some bushes and watched to see if he was going to do anything or if anything was going on in there.

Kenshin went over to the one girl in his gang. Kenshin smirked as he crouched down, curling his index finger under the girl's chin. The girl let out a snort, tossing her head to the side.

"Come on, Emily."

Kenshin chided, smirking. The girl grunted, picking herself up from the floor and besides Aki.

Kenshin stood up, heading towards the wooden door.

"I'll eat my lunch alone, continue your meeting or whatever you're doing."

Kenshin opened the door for Corinth and himself, closing it behind him. The sky grew dark as dark looming clouds settled far into the horizon.


Thunderstorms. A small knot formed in Kenshin's stomach as he saw the small flickering of lightning inside of the dark clouds.


Kenshin sat down against the brick wall of his house, Corinth following him. Corinth opened his jaw, two of the apples rolling out onto the ground.


Kenshin leaned in and picked one up, seeing two pits into it.

"Come on Corinth, I told you I didn't like your dirty teeth stabbing my apples."

Kenshin snorted, he turned to the right. There was a water faucet besides him. Kenshin twisted the knob, small water droplets dripping down. Kenshin thoroughly rinsed the apple with the water, including the holes.


Corinth was eating away at the apple, and in a few seconds he'd be done.


Kenshin lifted the apple to his mouth, munching down.

Raku sighed as she watched the man eat outside.

"Hota..this is such a waste of time..Nothing. Is. Happening." She whined.


She sat back in the bush and just waited to hear something. She played with the holes in her pants while time was going by.


She then looked up at the stars and sighed. I could be doing something better... She thought.
