Acamen watched with an amused smile on his face as Myrrl offered his paw to Lark and she kindly took it. It seems that he was already making new friends. Though he did notice some sort of reservation in the girl and he didn’t believe it to be fear of Myrll. He made a mental note to ask about it later.

As everyone left Acamen gave them a soft smile and wave before turning back to Myrll. “Aren’t you a friendly teddy bear after all. Lark is very pretty too” he smirked wiggling his eyebrows. Even if the beast didn’t know all his jokes he knew he had to at least have a libido somewhere deep down. “Anyways, I’d be happy to give you a tour around and get you set up in one of our rooms. For now, I will give you this,” he handed him a pendant. “Roya will be enchanting these at the welcome party tonight so that you can never lose it and it will allow you to send distress calls to all other members. Your location will be known to us immediately.” Acamen took out his own. “This will also allow me to call you to the guildhall if needed. I think that’s everything on the pendant. Let’s go, I’ll show you to the guildhall.”

Acamen had just turned to head toward the guildhall when he bumped into Lark.

“Oh no, are yo-” he was cut off as she began to wheeze out a few words.

‘Beltari’s being attacked’ were the only words he needed to hear. Immediately his body went stiff and every thought in his brain went serious. It was as if someone hit a switch on him and turned him into a complete 180 of his usual self. He quickly turned to Myrrl and Lark. “I need you two to find my daughter. Once you’ve done that, all three of you keep people away from the perimeter of the guildhall. I do not want any townspeople where they could get hurt. I believe in you two.” Acamen spoke in a low and serious tone. A smile never one appeared on his face. He turned toward the guildhall tent tapped his cane once on the floor and traced the outline of a door on the tent. As he finished the outline a large wooden door suddenly appeared. “Be brave” were his last words to the two before entering the door, it disappearing right behind him.

Acamen didn’t know exactly where the door would take him. He only willed it to take him to Beltari. He opened it and stepped right into Beltari’s room. So the door had been her bedroom door then. His adrenaline was still spiked as he saw her working on a seal on a shield.

“Beltari what is going on?” he asked rushing over to her. He could see the burned books all over her room and the cut on her shoulder only fueled his anger to unsafe levels. “Who did this?” he asked gritting his teeth.

The fires roar louder and louder as some of the books that were nearby started to catch fire from the embers popping out from the burning wall of papers, providing further troubles as Dacia coughs a bit from the smoke in his eyes and lungs.

As the clone of Isla went behind him and started to jab at him he grunts lightly as he reached his hand backwards and threw the clone to the ground , dragging the wounded body to the fire as he presses her head to the fire as the roaring flames does the work within seconds Ashe noticed the body twitch for a bit becoming dead still..

" you'll burn like the rest of us..." he laughs as he turns his attention to the two Islas, charging violently towards the two as he sucker punched the real isla in the noggin knocking her unconceous with great speed on his bow hand as he uses the cleaver to give a killing blow to the other clone, the head flying clean off as the mortals seem of little resistance.

He knows the fires would soon die out as his time is running out, he needs to escape and fast... he ditched the arrows as he knows he will buy new ones and makes a break for the exit, leaving the guild headquarters and into the crowd , hustling and bustling through the people as he is winded due to the excessive energy he consumed in order to fight those members..

" Those who flee and run away will live to fight another day..." he talks to himself laughing but does not feel the same happiness he used to feel. This time there might be a little bit of fear .... what happens if he were to fight the entire crew...

A tad bit shocked to see Acamen come so soon, she stuttered over her words. "Some b*stard decided it was a good idea to go snooping around our commons. He was probably looking for an easy steal..." She stood up. The sword and shield faintly started to float next to her. "I apologize for my hasty leave, but there's someone who owes me a bookshelf of first editions."

The tiefling used a few leftover books to chase after the man. Many of her books could be used to enhance her speed as she flew across the hall, great sword and shield floating behind her. Taking the broadsword, she pinned the man down, then slammed the shield onto of him.

"Don't think that you won't be burning here too..." She grinned as she held down the intruder. "You didn't think that you'd live another day after messing with the Charwell Guild did you? A shame. I can sit in this fire as long as I need. All I need form you is an apology." Two books floated on either side of her. Both snapped open and began charging a shot.

The fumes of smoke fueling the halls as Illyria was sleeping , the burning sensation of his nostrils made him sneeze as he knew something was up. " the hell? There's a barbecue?" He murmured before getting out of bed and leaving out of the door to witness the pure chaos that was left In place.

Hearing the sounds of talk and crackled of fire upon paper he knew something was up. This place was far too fortified and well defended to be raided unless...." Dacia..." he says to himself as through the smell of ash and smoke there was a faint signal of him in his sensors .

Groaning lightly he walks towards the towering fire that provides a barrier to him .

Groaning and grunting the chaos was pinned to the ground, " oh what a display but it's time for me to go, toodaloo ~" he giggles as he uses his energy to teleport away from the battle before he could get slain. Thus leaving the girl all by herself ontop of nothing. He could of course overpower the girl but it would be a waste of energy as he needs to escape too ya know.

Upon his destination of the chaos warp teleport he finds himself in the slums of a city. Coughing and wheezing people all around him as he growls at their inferiority. " damned guild... i need allies..." he grunts as he continues to escape as he gets deeper in the stench of the slum poverty his scent and presence being lost there as he uses his time to regain energy

  • Acamen watched as Beltari darted through the flames and out of the room. He was fully prepared to follow her but stopped short covering his face as the flames burst more. His human form would be burned quite badly from these flames but his Ombra form would burn worse from this. Without a second thought, Acamen darted through the flames, his clothing catching on fire immediately. He ignored the pain as he continued to dart down the stairs and to the basement door. After one more flight of stairs and frantically unlocking the door, he was finally in the basement. In the very middle of the room floating above a pedestal was a large red crystal heart. It was a much darker shade of red than usual and looked to by flickering like a real flame.

“Shit” he mumbled to himself. The fire had spread more than he thought. He quickly ran over to it clutching it with his hands, causing them to burn badly from the heat of the heart. He cursed once again and let go. It was too hot to enchant. He thought for a second, his mind racing with panic before finally ripping a flash out of his jacket pocket unscrewing it and pouring it over the heart. As he poured the flask over the heart all around the guild, beer, the same substance in his flask began to heavy rain from the ceilings putting out the fire slowly but effectively. Slowly the heart went from its blazing red color to a soft pink. Acamen sighed in relief as he slipped the flask back in his pocket. He slowly walked back up the stairs his body becoming weaker and weaker as seconds went on. His body had taken on too many burns and the pain was becoming too much to bear. As soon as he reached the top step he collapsed, barely conscious.

Myrrl had gently shaken hands with Lark, and as she disappeared with Beltari he watched the two of them leave by staring over top of Acamen's head. The guildmaster and he were essentially alone for all intents and purposes, and it was then that his keen ears swiveled to take note of the Acamen speaking.

Aren’t you a friendly teddy bear after all. Lark is very pretty too.

The gnoll's head tilted once again as he watched the guildmaster's eyebrows waggle with all the enthusiasm of a performing jester in the midst of ribbing the straight man. He couldn't help but shrug a little in response. However, before he could respond the topic changed, and a pendant was presented to him which the gnoll accepted. As Acamen spoke further, he raised the chain interwoven in his clawed hands to stare at the dangling charm before looking back at the man. "Roya..." he murmured while trying to commit it to memory. He pocketed the pendant and picked up his shields, preparing to follow the guildmaster. "Lark not my ty-" His comment was interrupted by the quick footfalls of Lark.

Beltari's being attacked. She's in the commons at the guild hall. Hurry.

She was out of breath. He watched as Acamen became a very different person quite suddenly.

I need you two to find my daughter. Once you’ve done that, all three of you keep people away from the perimeter of the guildhall.

Myrrl's heart began to pump. They weren't far from where Luce had been standing and he knelt suddenly, looking to Lark. "Climb." His head jerked, indicating his back. As if on cue, the third shield which had been clinging to his back lifted. The massive hooked shield covered in spikes floated free and began to levitate around the gnoll. "Ride." There, near the top of his armor on the back was a small steel bar which the shield had been hanging from.

Despite Dacia thinking Isla was out cold, he had been wrong. Isla had seen it coming and ducked fairly quickly, Dacia only managing to nic the top of her head. He then proceded to kill the other Isla, but original Isla wasnt worried about that now. The boy had left and they were safe again... well, as safe as one could be with a raging fire burning the halls.

However, as the blond girl strained to listen in Beltari’s room, she could hear two voices now.

Acamen! A relieved sigh escaped her lips. The guild and Beltari were safe. For now. Before Isla had time to attempt standing, the fire had suddenly burned out. It wasnt a gradual fade, but it had just disappeared as quickly as it had started. Isla sat down against the wall, staring blankly ahead. The bruises on her stomach and neck were now turning a dark purple, almost black, and Isla couldnt even touch one of them withour wincing in pain.

At the moment, Beltari was a whole slew of emotions. Insatiable anger for the one who ruined her perfectly fine day, and ripped up almost a third of her books. Guilt for putting such a bad impression of the Guilt towards Lark. Agony, from the bleeding gash in her shoulder. Everything that could possibly go wrong has gone wrong and now she'll have to suck it up and go to some large social party tonight. Everything was a disaster. She exhaled and stood up.

Firstly, she would have to close the wound on her shoulder. With a deep breath, she heated up her hand with a subtle flame and burned away at her shoulder to sear the wound shut. A natural ability in fire magic was common among tieflings but it still hurt a great deal. Thankfully, Acamen had taken care of most of the fire, but the ground was still seared from the rude man that decided to ruin her day. Now, she'd have to collect all of her papers and torn books, organize them, and find a way to either fix them or work through the money to buy a new one.

I need a nap.... Beltari stumbled into her room. Her dorm was disheveled in fire and burnt papers, but she didn't have the energy to care about that now. A great deal of her mana was spent on that one encounter and it pissed the girl off. All she could do now was fall down in her bed and try to sleep the whole encounter off.

Before Lark could even fully catch her breath, Acamen had switched gears and was giving them orders. He wanted her to what with who!? It was all too much for her. Things were happening so fast. Only a few hours ago she was socializing for the first time in her known life and now she was already expected to step up and into a leadership position? This could not be happening.

"What?" she whispered in disbelief. Be brave? How could she when everything felt like it was piling up on top of her. There had to be some mistake. "Wait!" she called to the guild master a moment too late for he was already gone. Resigned she turned to Myrrl to see what he thought of the situation and her jaw dropped when he was already kneeling and asking her to "climb."

"W-what!?" she yelped regarding him with wide black eyes. She stood in silent shock as his shield made room for her on his back. She so desperately wanted to decline. She wasn't ready! But as she parted her lips to refuse, she heard Acamen's words echo in her head. Be brave? Well... here goes nothing, she thought and a determined look claimed her face as she scampered up onto Myrrl's back before she could think too much. "Let's go," she said with quiet confidence she didn't feel.

Her hands gripped the steel bar a little tighter than she realized and it was a good thing she did. No amount of mental prepping had prepared her for the jolt that went through her when her companion took off. She let out a yelp as her body was pressed flat against his back from the sheer velocity of his leaps and bounds. Sooner than she'd expected, they were face to face with the very person they were told to find. Lark shook her head rigorously causing her previously disheveled hair to fall back into place. Really all she had succeeded in was making herself dizzier.

"Luce," she said breathlessly. "U-um... Where do I start? Beltari was attacked by a red haired person when she was giving me a tour, Mr. C--ah, Acamen went to help her, we're supposed to keep people away from the guild hall." She hoped she had remembered everything even though she felt like her thoughts were permanently scrambled. Subconsciously she was still clinging to Myrrl's armor since she was still a little too dizzy to stand on her own two feet.

After a while in the slums, feasting on the individuals under the cover of darkness's o gain energy back so he can be fully 'recharged'. he wipes the blood off his mouth and holsters his cleaver and bow.

Now back into the market square he wanders around as of where the fletcher shop is as it takes a while to get to the right people. As he wanders about he takes off his mask that covers his nose and mouth making his face fully exposed and pleasing to the public. Fortunately he found the fletcher shop as he needs to manœuvre around the crowds of people.

Bumping into the crowds as he makes his way he unfortunately ran into lark and Myrrl, not even paying that much attention as he pats the Gnoll's shoulders " sorry bout that sir..." he says in a respectful voice as he wanders by aimlessly to the fletcher stand. He was so dumbfounded and lost in the market square that he didn't even notice that Myrrl was a gnoll or that he was merely inches from Lark.

Bustling and hustling about he finally reached the stand as he talks to the merchant " I'll buy 50 arrows please, and speedy would you kindly~ " he smiles and acts like it's a normal conversation.

Luce could tell she was right immediately by Wyren’s expression. A victory smile found its way to her face as she uncrossed her arms.
“I just took what I know about you and applied it to the situation. It seemed like everything you do has a calculated reason behind it and also we’re standing next to all the of the guild booths,” she spoke motion to the area around them. She was about to personally invite him to her party tonight, something that caused her nerves to stir when she saw a shadow towering over her and a soft voice following it. She turned and saw Lark riding on top of a beast. She was immediately taken back and tried to comprehend Lark’s rushed words. Panic rushed over her as the situation was explained. She had never experienced a real threat before. Even in the large battle of a year ago, she was forced to stay back with the guild. Fear overtook her body but still, all she was thinking about was her father and the others that were in danger. “Let’s go!” she quickly took off running toward the guildhall. She knew what she was doing was foolish and she probably shouldn’t have been causing such a commotion because it would worry the townspeople but if someone was able to get into the guildhall in the first place it had to be serious, especially if her father had sent for her. Once they made it to the guild Luce froze. She was in an inner conflict. Her father had told her to watch the perimeter but what if they were in trouble. She might only be a burden because she didn’t have a lot of control over her transformations.
In the end, she decided she couldn’t let fear control her and she needed to help the others. She turned to Lark and the beast.
“Please watch the perimeter I’m sorry to leave you out here all alone but I know you can do this. Thank you” Luce spoke sincerely as she touched Lark’s hand and nodded at the beast.
“Come with me” she instructed Wyren as she opened the large door and marched in. The guild smelled like smoke and oddly… beer. The halls were scorched and soaked. Something bad had definitely happened here.
Luce cautiously walked down the hallway and spotted Isla. She was in bad shape. She quickly ran over to her, kneeling in front of her as she sat on the wall. “Isla, are you alright? What happened? I need to get you treated right away.” Luce spoke her voice cracking as she wanted to cry seeing Isla in so much pain. She quickly turned to Wyren. “Please find Beltari. I’m getting Isla to the doctor,” she spoke as she wrapped Isla’s arm around her shoulder and hauled her up.

Myrrl had stayed low. The poor platinum-haired girl seemed torn, but he wouldn't be dissuaded. Proud as she marshaled her willpower and mounted, he rolled his body to make it as easy as possible for her to climb on.

Let's go.

The moment Lark spoke those words to him he leapt and bounded through the crowd, jumping from vacant spot to vacant spot and dashing down the gaps in the human traffic. The massive spiked shield seemed tied to him like a balloon to a child's wrist as though by an invisible string. He could feel Lark like a little-girl-backpack staying firmly to him. As he ran, a single man heavy with the scent of blood attempted to interact with him. The blood managed to overpower the hints of smoke now tickling his senses. However, that man's hand barely came close to the gnoll's shoulder before Myrrl was gone again.

As he arrived he allowed Lark to do the talking. The guildmaster's daughter seemed so young, and she spoke with a man that Myrrl couldn't help but regard with interest. His hair was like Lark's, and he projected an aura of competence and power. In that was, he was not unlike the Acamen himself.

Beltari was attacked by a red haired person when she was giving me a tour, Mr. C--ah, Acamen went to help her, we're supposed to keep people away from the guild hall.

She was much better equipped to handle communicating the urgency and difficulty of the situation. Perhaps he and the man would be able to chat another time. In a moment it seemed the notion of leaving the talking to Lark was the right one, as the daughter of the guildmaster jolted to action. There wasn't time to let Lark down yet, and so he pivoted and followed Luce as she tore through the crowds and back. People were thinning out and leaving in all the chaos, but Myrrl kept tight behind Luce to allow her to cut a path through the crowd... not that anyone wanted to be in the gnoll's way.

Please watch the perimeter I’m sorry to leave you out here all alone but I know you can do this.

Wait. That wasn't right. Acamen had said to keep her safe and away. Myrrl looked over his shoulder at Lark. "You... go. Protect. I will help... perimeter." Luce needed protecting and he trusted Lark to handle that with Luce's companion. He was sure he could corral some hapless onlookers.

Dacia

" so how is the family?.." Dacia asks curiously to then fletcher as he is in progress of making the arrows " marital problems are dragging the family down but not that bad.." the fletcher commented, " well what kinds of problems?" Dacia was getting nosy as the fletcher gave him a odd look " what business are ye to ask those kinds of questions?" Dacia puts his hands half way up to ease the conversation before flicking his wrist pointing at the fletcher and leaning in over the counter " I am a jack of certain trades that can help with your issues...all you need is to say the problem and what you want and I can solve your troubles ~" now that is what certainly got the fletcher certainly in disbelief but willing to look for help " see ye there be a man eyeing my honey and I know she is with him in places only lovers be and I fear she may pass her love from me to the other guy, I just want to have her back to love me and our love rekindled..." Dacia nods his head as he understands how to solve it " tell you what, I will solve your problems and you will have that rekindling if I can get a free pass to unlimited arrows for life.." he smiles convincingly as he man laughed but nods his head " sure sure IF you can do the task and be some sort of miracle worker" he laughs hysterically but approaches Dacia yet once more as Dacia offers his hand " do we hand a deal?" Dacia offers as the fletcher shakes the hand" deal.." not noticing as the hand shook the chaos symbol is now imprinted upon the fletchers hand permanently as a collaborator of chaos " keep the rest waiting for me, all I need is one arrow..." he slips an arrow from a barrel and walks towards the park.

When dacia shook he fletcher's hand he knows what the target and his wife looks like and places they are as if highlighted. The park is where the target is to meet as he arrives at a bench first and five minutes later his wife arrives next to him to exchange romantic language together, disgusting under the nose of her husband...

As he checks the time he finally saw the man sitting on the bench waiting for the fletcher's wife. This gives a valuable opportunity to Dacia as he wanders to a female courtier, handing her a purse full of coin and pointing to the man on the bench. With a firm nod she smiles and pockets the money as she approaches the man. Thé to start to sit on benches and exchange conversation before as instructed the courtier makes the first kiss on the target, licking the two in love as Dacianwatches intently as the wife approaches the bench only to be in utter shock to realize that the man she thought once cared for her is making out with another woman. A big scene was being put out as he wife slapped the player's face and stormed off ... now for part two...

Eyeing the wife she seems to be approaching her husband as Dacia speed walks faster than her to buy a single rose From a flourist and speed walk even faster to the fletcher " your wife is coming, take this and say some nice things to her..." the fletcher. Confused as all hell nods and takes the Rose as he understands what to do.

Soon enough she approaches the husband with a distraught and angered expression as with a slight of hand the fletcher handed her a beautiful red rose for her and said very romantic nice compliments. With that her heart almost melted as she took the rose and hugged him tightly landing a kiss on his lips before returning to her work alongside him.

After a few minutes Dacia approaches he fletcher as the man was as happy as if he won the lottery " I don't know how you did it but thank you so much , !" He exclaimed to Dacia as he nods his head " your welcome fair merchant and I believe I get my fair part of the deal?" The merchant, realizing what he agreed to was shocked but a deal was a deal as he nods and hands him the arrows he needed to fill his quiver " thank you" Dacia bid farewell as he left the fletcher shop, now with arrows and a contact in the city...

Roya chuckled at his excitement and pointed at the guild building,"Charwell has it's own library and a few of us have our own personal collecti-" The smoke danced away from the Charwell Guildhall and from a distance it took Roya's breath away. Within a second the young woman had jetted off in a sprint and then transitioned into parkour, jumping over people with finesse and grace, all with a sense of urgency.

Arriving to the guildhall, Roya observed that the area had been cleared, that means the other members were patrolling warding people away. Roya ran through the doors, taking note of the inside-rain, and headed directly for the basement doors,"Master!" She screamed rounding a corner and slipping on the water. Roya's eyes shot up up she slid to Acamen's side,"Master, are you okay?" She quickly looked him over, checked his pulse, and scanned his burns. Standing up, Roya attempted to help Acamen up and use herself as a crutch,"Master, is there anybody else here? Was anybody else hurt and do I need to call a doctor?

Wyren kept his expression of surprise, as Luce talked to him. He listened as she explained her reasoning and was impressed, Wyren had only known one other person who could read him like that. He was about to speak again when he saw a huge wolf like red furred beast stop behind Luce. It towered over her like the shadow of a tree but Wyren wasn't the least bit worried, he took his eyes off the creature and looked toward the young girl riding on it. Once Wyren heard her speak the situation became clear. As soon as Luce said the word he took off in a sprint toward the guild hall with her. Once their he grabbed the handle of his sword firmly and followed Luce inside. When he walked inside and saw the damage that had been done, his heart stopped.

Wyren stood in place paralyzed and his ears started ringing, he was only able to focus on the scorch marks covering the walls. He didn't move, he could only think of bad things that could've happened. Only when his ears stopped ringing he could finally hear Luce. He turned toward her and nod, turning to the hallway to search for Beltari.

He ran thorough the corridors, he knew which room was hers, the only thing he had to hope for was that she was there. After finding her door he knocked on it and shook the handle. "Beltari it's me, Wyren? We need you back at-" Wyren stopped. He thought back to the flames, and how he could've lost something else. He suddenly collapsed on the ground, still gripping tightly onto the doorknob as he slid to the ground. "We... We need-" Wyren tried to speak again, out of breath and wheezy. He let go of the doorknob and covered his face. On the brink of crying he began to speak again "Beltari, I don't know you very well, and I know you probably don't have my answers but why did this have to happen today?" he took a deep breath and and yell out "Nothing can go right ever, not for me. It's just what I do." he began sobbing and through tears he said softly "Nothing ever goes right when im around" he said. Wyren brushed his hand through his hair then smiled, still crying "Why can't something just be how it is without somebody ruining it."

Wyren stopped crying, he quickly stood up and wiped his face off with his forearm. "Don't answer that," he said quietly. "I'm just a little sensitive." Wyren covered his mouth as he couldn't stop coughing, and waited for Beltari to answer, if she was even in there.

Isla barely heard Lucinda come up to her. She was aware of her presence, but couldnt bare to look her in the eye. Out of everything that had happened today, she only had one thing on her mind.

“Im sorry...’bout the decorations.” Was all she could muster. Her voice was barely a whisper, and she couldnt seem to think about anything really except for those decorations. What needed to be done? What could she help with?

No Isla, you stupid girl... you cant do anything right now. But Im worrying Luce...its her birthday...Oh no her father...Acamen, he came in here. Warn her! She probably already knows.. Beltari?

Her mind kept spinning with these thoughts. She wasnt exactly sure what she needed to be focusing on, but she felt awful about those decorations...

Suddenly Isla gave a small whimper as she felt herself being helped up. Resting her head right under Luce’s chin, she wrapped her arms tightly around her.

“Im really sorry Luce... your dad..the birthday... the glitter.” Isla whispered.

Almost immediately after Beltari sat in her bed, she was out. Normally, Beltari is unable to fall asleep, but today she was out.

During her sleep she saw many things. Beltari was sitting in her generously sized room, back at those people's manor. The room was very large, and her bed was of a very rich size. She saw her parents having breakfast with her brother; no servant sent to waker her up, no plate and napkin set for her at the table. They didn't look up as she walked into the room. Quietly shuffling through the room, she picked up a biscuit and some jam and walked back to the exit of the room. Her brother, Dimitri, gave her a quick glance before looking back down at his plate. Not an unusual occurrence at the Ellestar Manor.

Back at her room, Beltari sat on the ground, against the wall, and ate. While she ate, the girl quietly flipped through the book. This is how she spent most all of her day; silently sitting in her room, reading. She rarely got up. In that day, Beltari ate nothing but a biscuit and a small portion of strawberry jam. That night the girl laid there; staring up at the ceiling. Sleep rarely knew her; when it did, it was never for long. That night was no different. The next thing Beltari saw was fire. Embers flickered up through the floorboards and fire began to spit at her feet, but everything was silent. Beltari could hear the crickets outside and the scrambling of those people. Her mother, her father, Dimitri, the servants, all running amok, trying to escape; but not Beltari. Beltari didn't move. She couldn't move. Nothing in her body let her move, and in all honesty, she didn't want to move. Beltari just laid there. Awake in her bed, staring at the ceiling with the silent fire surrounding her. Every single creature in that house was being pursued by a fiery death, but the fire hadn't even noticed that she was there. The walls of its back just surrounded her and she did nothing.

Then the fire was gone. As quickly as it came, it left, never even knowing she existed.

The next thing that she saw was the ceiling of her Guild dorm. She heard a man crying outside her door. She smelt the smoke and ash in the halls. She felt the embrace of a small blanket. All these things noticed her and this is why she wouldn't allow anyone to take them away from her.

The Guild demanded many things, but Beltari didn't mind. Right now, the Guild demanded that Beltari be up and cleaning the Guild. This she tried not to mind and stood up. Organizing all her burnt papers would be a reward for her. They would wait on the ground until the end of the day.

" damn... you two are lucky..." he mutters at the girls before looking at Luce and her Lark not knowing what to say, how can Dacia follow all the way to this base ... there must be someone that he followed... his attention looked again elsewhere to Wyren as he views the crying and stuff like that as weak behavior and is happy he wasn't there for when Dacia was around or else he would have been chewed up and spat out. He noticed that Roya was directing her attention and wandering elsewhere as it brings curiousity to what's so important at the basement.

Reguardless of what happens he simply says clear as daylight " The man who did this was Dacia, a chaos minor like me... ill finish him off, wish me luck..." he clears his throat as he walks off to the exit of the building, pulling out his mace as he has a new goal, not knowing about the population of chaos minors in existence were just him and Dacia.... the last of their kind ...

Acamen faintly heard Roya’s voice as he was phasing in and out of consciousness. He forced his mind to focus on her. Yes, he was greatly hurt but others were as well and the quicker he was healed the faster he was able to help the others. “I need to get to the nurse,” Acamen spoke quietly as he used Roya as a crutch and limped down the hall. Thankfully, the nurse was located in the same remote area that the basement door was located so he only had to round the corner and head a few doors down. Her door was already open and he just limped right in, not paying attention to the others in the room, before plopping on the second bed.
“Thank you, Roya.” he groaned adjusting in the bed. He felt the keys on his side and he quickly remembered the basement door. He grabbed the large keychain off his side and thrusted it at Roya. “You need to lock the basement,” he instructed giving her a pleading look. Before she could go he added something. “Make sure it’s okay.” he gave her a serious look. Roya was one of the very few people in the guild that knew the truth about the guildhall’s heart and he knew that he could trust her with this.

Myrrl's suggestion only made Lark want to stay where she was. She cast a worried look at the backs of the other two as they headed inside the guild hall before turning back to the gnoll. There was a tense, uncertain moment where she only stared. She didn't know what the right decision was. As far as she knew, the only person she'd ever had to look out for was herself and now after not even a full day of knowing any of these people, she was caught up in a chaos she would have never, ever imagined.

"Okay," she finally replied. He seemed confident that he could handle any curious town folk and she decided to trust that. Her fingers slid down his armor until her feet touched the ground and she found herself relieved that she no longer felt dizzy and disoriented. "Thanks for the ride!" she called out as she ran after Lucinda.

As soon as Lark walked through the doorway she was assaulted by the stench of charred wood and beer. Although she hadn't transformed, she'd learned long ago that the curse left her with a heightened sense of smell and she choked back a gag. She needed to find Luce and the boy she was with. Following their scent was out of the question with the foul smell tainting the air. She let out a small sigh. She could try to listen for them, but without utilizing the curse, her hearing was that of an average human. As she walked through the halls, she found the didn't have to worry about abnormal hearing. In fact, it would have been a mistake to use it since all she could hear was someone yelling. She hastened to where she thought the yelling was coming from being careful to make sure her steps were silent. She didn't know what she'd be walking into after all. Her footsteps faltered when she arrived to see the blond haired guy who'd come in with Luce. She felt awkward standing there while he finished talking. Why was he crying? She wondered if she should backtrack and make a quiet exit but decided better of it. She’d come to find Luce and he was her best option to find out where she was.

"U-um, I overheard you," she said sheepishly while keeping her distance as not to invade his space. "I... don't know what's going on, but I know this didn't happen because of you." she continued innocently. How did people usually handle this kind of situation? "In fact, I was here when it started, remember? Beltari was--" she cut herself off as it finally clicked that he was in front of the room Beltari had said was hers. "Who were you talking to?" she asked anxiously forgetting about everything else that was going on. She quickly moved until she was as close to the door as she could get.

"Beltari!? Are you in there?" she was anxious for her new friend. Just what had happened? Why was everything burnt and beer-soaked? "Are you okay? Please answer." Lark was beginning to contemplate whether they should just barge in or not.

Illyria and Dacia
All slightly mentioned but mostly Myrrl

Knowing everyone is busy as hell Illyria gave a soft sigh and walked off to exit the building. Knowing his fate is coming closer and closer to him. He has been fighting Dacia for such a long time but determination is what kept both alive after so many gruesome battles.

Dacia patrols at the fairgrounds, stalking and lurking about for Illyria or any other fresh meat recruit of the guild as it would be better for his training of eliminating the guild to hunt down Illyria.

Illyria finally exits the guild headquarters, leaving ontop of his bed the golden bag that was intended for Isla. Giving a final signal of prayer to himself he can smell the other chaos minor, this will be it... Illyria noticed Myrrl defending the perimeter as he stood next to the Gnoll, facing the fairgrounds as he starts to speak " let the guild know I loved them all no matter what and if i do not return to the party by midnight,
Consider me as dead ...." without further explaination illyria heads to the fairgrounds , tracking down Dacia

Dacia was relatively easy to track down as Illyria found him only about a few minutes after talking to Myrll. Grabbing Dacia by the shoulder he said into his ear " it's time to end this... meet me at the sacred forest...." Dacia knew what's going to happen but doesent refuse the request. He willingly walks alongside with Illyria to the forest as there was nothing more but utter silence as they walk. Their minds racing with thoughts as it filled their minds until they reach the forest.

Illyria spoke first to break the tension " 50 feet as ancient tradition..." Dacia nods and stays at a distance of 50 feet as was part of the chaos culture when dueling with one another " you know the rules young one?" Illyria asked firmly as Dacia nods.

Roya was much, much faster than Wyatt.
"Hey! Where are you- " he began before smelling the smoke for himself. "Oh. That... doesn't smell too good."
He hurried along after Roya, but given that she was literally leaping over people he lost sight of her pretty quickly.
Wyatt paused. The feeling of helplessness that was beginning to bubble up in his mind wasn't new.
A long time ago, maybe a year now, he'd been forced to stand by whilst people he'd cared about had their lives completely destroyed in front of them. The experience had seriously weighed on him - it was, in fact, the impetus for him to develop current manipulation into a viable form of attack in the first place.

No. He'd finally found something that could have been his home - he wouldn't stand by like last time. He had to find Acamen and help out somehow.
His sense of resolve had strengthened considerably. Unfortunately, his sense of direction had not.

Striding further into the guild building, which was precisely the opposite direction in which he'd intended to go, Wyatt was soon assaulted by the smell of charred wood and... beer.
Soon enough, he began to hear a faint sound: someone was sobbing.
Wyatt began to run, all the while dreading what he'd find. A burnt corpse, perhaps? Completely devastation?
Thankfully, it was just a horribly ruined corridor and two other guild members, a young man and a girl.
"Beltari! Are you in here!?"' said the girl, desperately.
Wyatt marched over to the two. The young man was clearly sobbing...
"Hello there!" said Wyatt to the man. "I'd offer you a toffee to cheer you up, but I think we have bigger problems right now."
He then turned to the girl. "I take it someone's trapped in here? I'll try and open the door."

Wyatt was utterly useless at metal manipulation. He could turn screws fairly well, but anything more complicated and he'd usually end up destroying the metal entirely.
Right now, he couldn't help it. He had to do something.
Placing his palm against the door, he closed his eyes to focus. He made the metal vibrate - a skilled metal manipulator could form an accurate picture of a piece of metal, no matter how complicated, just by listening to the vibration.
Ah! There was something he could move!
Without thinking too much further, Wyatt proceeded to move that piece of metal that he hoped would open the lock.
Unfortunately, the 'piece of metal' turned out to be the entire lock. Wyatt had also been far too excited when he'd moved it, so he'd applied too much force. This caused the lock to rotate, ripping away all the wood that it was attached to and severely damaging the door.
Due to this damage, the door could now be opened.

"Yikes! Someone's going to need a new door, huh?" chuckled Wyatt before grinning at Lark. "Anyway, let's go!"
He pushed open the door.
The room was a mess - burned paper was scattered upon the seared ground.
"Hey! Anybody home!? If you're injured, we're here to help!" barked Wyatt, striding in.
He glanced at the bed and caught sight of a tiefling. She was in horrible shape; it was quite clear that she'd been involved in quite a serious fight. She was also, from Wyatt's perspective, incredibly beautiful-
'God damn it Wyatt, she's surrounded by burns and ruined books! Now is not the time!' he frantically reminded himself.

He'd already turned bright red.
"H-h-uh-HEY!" barked Wyatt, far too loudly. "Uh, uhh, are you- d'you need-"
This was going nowhere. He cleared his throat and tried again.
"We ought to get out of here. Are you strong enough to move?" he asked her.

As they walked down hall after hall, Isla was faintly aware of everything around her. Luce helping her up. Had she said something about a doctor? She sure hoped not, she hated the doctor’s.. what made Isla crack a small smile though was when Lucinda had assured her that she shouldnt have to worry about those things she was worried about. So everything was ok! Well...not ok.

Dragging her blue gaze around the guild (which was very uncomfortable, maybe even a bit painful), she took in the charred walls. The fire had really done a number on this place and for the first time in two years, Isla felt her heart race at the fact that she couldve died. Sure, the girl had been in plenty of situations where she had come inches from death, but something had scared her just now, and the feeling was very comforting for her.

As they reached the nurses, Isla let out a pained and raspy breath which caused her to cough. She hated the doctor... as Luce handed her off to the nurse, the lady pulled out a small botter of water. She was rambling off Isla’s symptoms as she checked everywhere, but the battered girl was focused on the water.

The nurse seemed to beckon the water out, and it spread throughout Isla’s body. It was cold on her burns, making her shiver, but as the water pulled back everything felt much more confortble, even with the bruises and potential concussion.

Finally Isla felt her friend sit next to her, grabbing her hand almost frantically.

How are you feeling? Who made these bruises on you?

Despite everything that had happened in the many panicked moments of the guild hall burning and the boy who had walked in here terrorizing them, this is what made Isla start crying. She wasnt exactly sure what she was crying about, but she felt like it needed to happen. The caring words spoken by her friend made her feel so good that she had such a good friend, but she supposed everything that had happened eas now catching up to her as well.

“I...um.. these bruises werent from the fight,” she racked her brain to try and remember everything, “I was decorating and I wanted some extra help I suppose... Illyria. I went to go ask him. Decorating is always so much fun with someone else that isnt yourself.” She sighed. Now she just felt sadness as the person who she thought was her friend had hurt her really bad. This made Isla start to giggle suddenly, but it sounded a bit strange as her sobs were mixed in with them.

“Illyria got mad at me so he um... he got mad.” Was how she ended it. Of course she didnt want to get him in trouble... they were friends still right? The blond reached down to fiddle with her corgi key chain.

Illyria and Dacia
None mentioned

The two looked intently at eachother as Illyria was filled with hate and anger , feeling the urge and edge to kill Dacia for the trouble he committed. Never has he thought that Dacia would follow him to a safe place such as the guild hall. This only strengthened his urges to kill the young lad.

" any words to say before we begin..." Illyria says to Dacia , excpecting a plea for his life or brutish defiance from him " I know you hate me and the outcome of our deathly duel will be unknown but no matter what happens, no matter how many times you may slay me and take me down I always thought of you as my master..." the words were of utter shock to Illyria of the words he uses to speak out. Admittingly chaos are known to change emotions but things as decisive as this are not to be taken lightly. Illyria's once hate filled heart slowly weakens but before he could come up with anything else to say Dacia intrudes another voice into illyria's ears " the population of our chaos has changed Illyria... hundreds of years ago there may have been hundreds of us but now there only exists two... and now this duel to the death will determine our culture. I know you side with humans and other mortals but just know where your roots come from... I intend to keep our culture preserved as our ancient forefathers have spawned and gave their lives to preserve this way of life... don't disgrace our species with your altered version..." Dacia was being emotional at first but near the ending was firm and harsh. Illyria was heartshattered at these words that Dacia places in his ears as it certainly changes his mentality and thinking. " begin the Duel!" Illyria shouts as he pulls out his mace, not fearing death but rather the future of Chaos minor.. is this the end of his population?
