I didn't hear of it before but just might check it out =] so do you have any drama like interests you would like to see in the RP? Maybe we can think of something if we have some interests to work with =]
Most of mine are already mentioned: like the whole someone who knows "all," blackmailing/watching from the shadows (Pll) and like the mystery parts of Riverdale. Like the more "people," drama of gossip girl and I like the sort of darker themes of CLIQUE. Basically you all already covered my bases haha.

Hmm then maybe something like that but right now I can't seem to think of a plot because I am trying to remember the name of a series thats at the edge of my brain but somehow I just can't remember it so it's distracting me xD

Try and describe it?

Try and describe it?
That's the problem, its all on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember exactly xD the problem is that I have been thinking about it a few minutes ago and now its gone :S today isn't my day. It's like a song stuck in your head that you can't figure out which it is xD

Okay then should we maybe make a plot similar to PLL or should we make a fandom?

I feel like it'll be easier if we make it so it's not in any specific fandom as that might mean we attract more people? Maybe a mixture of plots, it depends whether you want it to be more focused on character driven drama or drama happening because of a plot.

Well it depends character driven is my favorite style but it often dies because people are either afraid to add their own ideas or can't think of any and with plot-driven RPs its cool but some players feel like they don't have much room to come up with stuff xD so both have good and bad sides... And yeah with fandoms its harder to get people so maybe it would be better to come up with an idea of our own, that doesn't mean we can use the shows we like as inspiration =]

Maybe a 'skeleton plot' would be okay? By that I mean a few plot points for directing the RP in a minimal way so others can add their ideas to it?

Likewise, maybe we have a plot but allow people a lot of room to explore their own directions?

Yeah, completely different fandom/plot but I was in a Thirteen reasons why RP on a different site and it allowed for everyone to essentially create their own part in the mystery without revealing it to the others so everyone had their own plots they could play out whilst allowing the creator/gm to still control the plots and direction without everyone becoming stuck.

I explained that really badly, sorry.

Sorry I didn't understand that very well. Or rather I can't envision how that looked/worked :3

I know, sorry I'm tired.

But basically they had the skeleton plot of: a girl died and everyone is part of the reason why and instead of making it so that everyone is trying to solve it and only the GM/Creator knows what happened has control the players each made a part of the mystery (so character A and the girl who died had something happen and character A is trying to hide that) but something else happened with character B.

Basically to try and avoid it dying and allowing it to be character driven and plot focused everyone PMed the GM with what happened between their character and the dead character in the time period before she died and those interactions got revealed during the RP by the GM and that person.

Like how in Pretty Little Liars a bunch of people saw Alison the night she "died," and that all got revealed during season 1 and 2.

The point of me trying to explain that, albeit terribly, was that if you wanted a skeleton plot and it to be character focused you could make it so that everyone had a part in creating the plot without giving up complete control or ruining the sense of mystery for other players meaning it's less likely to die as everyone will want to get to the part that focuses on their character so they'll take part and stay invested during the other parts.

(Would only really apply in a pll/riverdale/mystery type setting)

Hmm maybe I'm too sleepy to get how this works :S I got most of it but I still can't imagine how to put that together :S maybe I need to try and figure it out after sleeping =] I never tried anything like that (the style you described) :3

Wasn't saying you had to try it was just a suggestion, it probably wouldn't work. Don't worry about it.

It would probably work if I understood it xD I'm sure once I am not sleep deprived it will make more sense to me or rather hope it will hehe. Well then I am off to get ready for bed. Talk to you when I am back among the living =]

I get how that works. Basically you try and make a character plot for the secrets they pmed you, right? We've done that once before. Although my cousin really didn't share much with me so that I'd also be surprised.

Do it!
She's great, loved her in Merlin though I haven't seen her in anything else. Sadly.
She is! I already love her just being five episodes in. I first saw her on Supergirl, at first I was like. "Meh". But then I stopped watching but my granma really likes supergirl and had me watched it with her and I just fell in love with Katie. I love the way she smiles, her greenish eyes twinkling when she acts happy, and when she speaks it's as if her Irish accent unknowingly slips through then she'd catch herself and go back to american... I got it bad for her, don't I?

Just a little bad, just a bit.

I thought about trying Supergirl but I wasn't that into it and the episodes I watched didn't have her in it so I just stopped and went back to Merlin, she has her Irish accent in that which is great as it's weird imagining her having any other.

Supergirl is a really light hearted show, I'm more of a Legends of Tomorrow kind of kid though.
