Backstory: Lydia grew up in a small town with her older sister Valerie and her mother and father. The name Throne is well known in the town she lived in as every woman in the Throne family were known to be priestess's, specifically ones with knowledge about particular types of demons. When they come of age each Thorne woman is chosen with a specific demonic sin to learn and study to try and combat these demons. When her sister Valerie came of age she was marked with the sin of lust and that quickly made Lydia realise that she didn't want to walk down this path, she wanted to do something different with her life rather than stay in one spot for the rest of her life, she wished to travel and see the world for once but once her time to have her sin chosen for her had arrived she had no choice. When Lydia's time came her sin to be was Envy but she refused her heritage and left the town, much to her parents anger.
Since then Lydia has travelled far and wide still somewhat keeping to what she knows to help others but she refuses to go back until she is done helping others.

Rage Wave, after several seconds of channeling anger and mana, Blade swings his sword in and direction and a trail of fiery magic shoots in the direction and angle he chooses.
Warblade, the longer Blade fights, the more rage and battle adrenaline he builds up. He can expend the adrenaline and some mana to overcharge his regular weapon attack with magical power.
Blink Strike, Blade uses magic to increase his speed momentarily. He becomes a living blur until he finds his mark with a lunge. This spell consumes mana at an incredible rate, so he always uses it in short bursts.
Fireblade, Blade uses fire magic to engulf his blade in flame for as long as he has the mana or adrenaline to fuel it. This ability consumes mana at a very slow rate.
Rupture, Blade uses his magic to sharpen or serrate his artifact blade for one attack. This attack is guaranteed to cause massive bleeding on the target.
Critical Eye, Blade pauses for several seconds and recites a magical incantation, writing runes in the air with his finger. For the next few minutes he can see all of his opponents' weak points and his agility increases.

Blade was an orphan in Elongate. Raised by an old prostitute until he was old enough to pick pockets. Once he could start using his size to run with the loosely organized thugs in the alleys, he already showed his potential. He was adopted by a mystical bandit leader who brought him in as an apprentice and taught him how to use fire magic in combination with his regular heavy sword fighting style. For a few years he robbed caravans in the desert, until one day his adopted father went too far and raided a village that consisted of only old men, women, and children. The men were all gone to serve their landlord's militia. Something inside of Blade snapped and he slaughtered his fellow bandits, including his father, in an act of ultimate betrayal. After that day he vowed to never commit evil again, and to dedicate his life to making up for the pain and suffering he had caused.

The middle years were full of fighting on and off the battlefield, he had a real anger problem and a righteous attitude, which did not serve him well in the regular military ranks, which comprised mostly of vulgar farmers and former bandits like himself. Again, his prowess and endurance did not go unnoticed, and he was inducted into a well known military organization that worked as a privatized military arm of the Delgor church. It was in that organization that Blade was given his full formal name, Torston Garswain, which means Iron Bear. His low tolerance for corruption, sense of duty, and strength led him to become a professional captain in the Delgor military. Later he retired from that and decided on something a little bit quieter, the city council asked him to become the guard captain. He enjoyed that, but got tired of the lazy guards and the politics he got sucked into as a city official. Plus he hated the paperwork.

His friends in the military recommended that he become a personal bodyguard for a wealthy noble family. He decided it involved less political bullshit, so he accepted the offer. It is in this phase of his life that his anger became more restrained, but transformed into paranoia. His experience with the scum of humanity and the backstabbing of politics combined with his responsibility to protect another's life. He hardly ever slept and constantly planned for every possible emergency that might arise. Noble families were more concerned with maintaining luxury and appearances than safety, so his employers rarely attended secure events. This left him with plenty of irritation and anxiety.

The elders of Mt. Fifth came to his rescue three years into his role as a bodyguard. He received a summons from them to join a team of guardians of the realm. Although he initially thought it was an elaborate trap assembled by his trope of lifelong enemies he acquired throughout his life, he reluctantly accepted. He has worked with the elders ever since as a soldier, a tactician, and a military adviser.

Name: Io Mousfaut

Personality & Bio

Backstory: Io's much younger years are a mystery, apparently he had passed through a number of families from a young age, eventually finding his way into the care of an older dwarven woman named Liur at the age of 5. Liur cared for Io for 10 years, raising him and teaching him compassion and kindness along with the hardy headstrong disposition of the dwarves. Some dwarves would berate him for being raised by a lone woman, (of course never when Liur was within earshot...for fear of the sting of her wooden spoon), but despite his odd upbringing he was happy and healthy. Around his 15th year, Io accompanied a dwarf to a factory near Liur's home as he was soon to reach the age where he'd be able to work. During his visit he noticed a mineral production belt had been stuttering and promptly fixed it within minutes, much to the surprise of the factory's workers. For the next year the dwarves set the boy to tests throughout the small mining town and even in Gurgurum itself, and determined he had a natural knack for mechanics and almost any tests of logic and mathematics that were thrown at him. Eventually his impressive skill gained him the eye of the notable human scholar and magic practitioner James Youlber, who lived near Gurgrum himself.

Starting on his 16th birthday Io began to intern under doctor Youlber, helping with experiments and studying alongside him. Io would stay at the Youlber estate for most of the week, returning to Liur on weekends, birthdays and other important holidays for the next 6 years. Unfortunately more recently the doctor has come down with an illness and has been bedridden. When the doctor received a summons to meet with the elders of mount fifth, Io took it upon himself to report James' condition to them himself and relay any information needed back to the estate after the meetings concluded.

Personality: Io is excitable and curious. Having grown up near Gurgrum, he spent a lot of time exploring underground tunnels and abandoned dwarven houses and complexes. His thirst for knowladge and exploration of the unknown grew from small playful expeditions. He tends to tinker when he is alone, while thinking of ways to improve the lives of those around him through his inventions. Despite his massive intellect however, Io is not street smart in the slightest, he is easily distracted and gullible and a little too kind for his own good. Typically Io doesn't prefer to speak about his past or where he came from and will usually redirect a conversation if its veering a little too close to that territory. He is generally gregarious, empathetic and optimistic.

Appearance: Io is of average human size and stature, standing at 5'9" he was always seen as "tall" around his dwarven friends. He has light brown skin and short, messy brown hair that has been cut time and time again. He always carries around a pair of reading glasses and wears a protective pair of goggles which he's tinkered with on more than one occasion, sometimes wearing both on his head at the same time. Normally he wears a robe made for comfort while studying, tho he decided to wear something a bit more "protective" on his journey, despite being told it would be safe. He now wears travelers robes made of stone cloth, a curious material of finely cut stone, enchanted to have the qualities of cloth while maintaining the durability of rock. Io carries a large bag on his back, filled with tools and his current projects.

A large backpack filled with things like hammers, compasses, writing utensils, wood...all manner of tinkering equipment, as something that was given to him by the Doctor himself, he takes very good care not to get it dirty or ruin it in any way. He has inscribed runes of durability and water repelling to keep it as clean and safe as possible.
Vynbulvr

Vynbulvr is a sword that Io forged in preparation for his journey to mount fifth, he had been tweaking the blueprints for months, but never had a reason to smelt a blade until now. Far from the most sturdy or magical blades, especially by dwarven standards, what makes the sword interesting is it's ability to change, via its designed compartments, and cleverly placed runes, Vynbulvr is a short sword, broad sword, ax, pike and spear all in one. It is far from the final version of the blade, but for now it gets the job done.
Yedvel and Marx

Yedvel is Io's chisel. A curious old thing, made of a combination of mythril and dragon's tooth. It is old and sacred, passed down to him by the doctor.
Marx is the hammer given to him by Liur. It is wooden and old, but much like her, it is durable and determined. Despite everything its been through its still in good condition.

Backstory: Namorae, unlike most Dhampir, was raised by her father, a powerful vampire known as Farator. He was the best father he could be to her, what with his lack of human emotion and empathy. He raised her to do what she believed was right, whether or not it was supported by others. It’s no wonder she decided she wanted to travel, as she had always been curious and excited to learn new things.

Wulvers are an ancient breed of werewolf hailing from Scotland. Unlike other tales, Wulvers do not shed their wolfish skin and cannot shift to that of a human. Unlike wolves, Wulvers are solitary creatures who do not seek out the company of others outside of their own kind. Their diet is a carnivorous one primarily consisted of fish. Wulvers are avid fishers and can often be found along rivers and lakes fishing. Despite their seemingly intimidating appearance, Wulvers are truly generous souls and, while typically avoiding human contact, often leave baskets of fish on the windowsills of those they see struggling.

Backstory:
Nairna grew up in the forest with her family, where she was taught to fish and how to hunt. Being an only cub, she was the sole focus of her parents and for a long time, life was tranquil. But when Nairna was fourteen, her family's territory was attacked by humans. Nairna never learned of the reason of their attack but she was forced to run by her father, and to this day she does not know what happened to her parents as when she returned, their home had been destroyed and they were nowhere in sight.


After the loss of her parents, Nairna ventured into the wild alone. She struggled to survive as it was winter and it was almost impossible to fish effectively. Exceedingly hungry, she resorted to sneaking into houses and rummaging through leftovers. One of the houses she happened to ransack belonged to an older warrior who took her in for the night and fed her.

She stayed with the warrior, Kensuke for two years. He gave her her dirks and taught her how to fight with them as well as introducing her to the fortified wine that she is now arguably addicted to. She was happy with Kensuke for a while, appreciating his teachings. After some time with him, he told her that she was then ready to leave into the wild and find her own path. Since then Nairna has been wandering the wilderness, travelling from town to town with no real goal other than simply for the adventure. However, she still lives a very solitery life, but she likes it that way.

Inventory: Gotthard's inventory consist of a slightly smaller sword than the one seen above. He is equipped with armor that can act as a magic catalyst, allowing him to cast novice or intermediate spells usually with little preparation or incantations required. The gloves allow for offensive spells, while the armor is used to add slight buffs during battle, spells cast through the blade are only capapble of restorative properties. Without the equipment to act as a catalyst however, Gotthard is stripped of his access to magic.

Magic Abilities: The potency of each spell and enchantment varies depending on the amount of mana used, and the number of the spells Gotthard is casting. He cannot use a spell to its full power, unless it is the only spell in use.

Swiftstep - Upon casting the user is bestowed with a movement speed increase of up to 250%
Fortify Strength - Upon casting the user is bestowed with a physical strength increase of up to 300%
Clairvoyance - Upon casting the user is bestowed with an overwhelming calm and inner peace, information is more easily obtained and analyzed
Replenish - Upon casting the user is healed. Only useful for surface injuries and bruises
Flame - A medium size fireball is hurled at the opponent
Force - The user slams the target with an invisible push of medium strength
Constrict - The user wraps the target with invisible tendrils, able to restrict movement, not so much for offense.

Alignment: Gotthard aligns himself with no faction in particular. He is renowned as a powerful mercenary, and commonly can be found completing quests and bounties throughout the land.

Positive Personality Traits: Gotthard sees himself as a just kind person, and is friendly to those he feels can benefit him.

Negative Personality Traits: He can be self righteous to a fault at times. If viewing someone in a bad light or in a bad situation, Gotthard is often unable to forgive or forget troublesome events.

Backstory: Gotthard was born of a High elf woman in Lal Mythel, his father being a simple human mercenary. Their love was forbidden by the Elven woman's family, and upon discovery of her pregnancy by Gotthard's grandparents, she was exiled. Shortly after Gotthard's birth the trio moved to Elongate, where his mother taught white magic, and his father continued his mercenary work. Gotthard's mother however, was never the same after being exiled and shamed for her love of Gotthard's father, and soon after his 6th birthday, she took her own life. The Knights father as well as Gotthard were alter greatly by this, Gotthard becoming obsessed with the idea of vengeance on the elves, and his father quitting mercenary work and retiring to blacksmithing. It was only with the help of magic scrolls left behind by Gotthard's mother; that his father was able to create the magic armor the knight currently wears. Finally on his 20th birthday, Gotthard left Elongate to begin his own mercenary work. Taking only the Armor his father made, the faint memory of his mother, and eternal disdain for high elves.

Liur cared for Io for 10 years, raising him and teaching him compassion and kindness along with the hardy headstrong disposition of the dwarves. Some dwarves would berate him for being raised by a lone woman, (of course never when Liur was within earshot...for fear of the sting of her wooden spoon), but despite his odd upbringing he was happy and healthy. Around his 15th year, Io accompanied a dwarf to a factory near Liur's home as he was soon to reach the age where he'd be able to work. During his visit he noticed a mineral production belt had been stuttering and promptly fixed it within minutes, much to the surprise of the factory's workers. For the next year the dwarves set the boy to tests throughout the small mining town and even in Gurgurum itself, and determined he had a natural knack for mechanics and almost any tests of logic and mathematics that were thrown at him. Eventually his impressive skill gained him the eye of the notable human scholar and magic practitioner James Youlber, who lived near Gurgrum himself.

Starting on his 16th birthday Io began to intern under doctor Youlber, helping with experiments and studying alongside him. Io would stay at the Youlber estate for most of the week, returning to Liur on weekends, birthdays and other important holidays for the next 6 years. Unfortunately more recently the doctor has come down with an illness and has been bedridden. When the doctor received a summons to meet with the elders of mount fifth, Io took it upon himself to report the James' condition to them himself and relay any information needed back to the estate after the meetings concluded.

Personality: Io is excitable and curious. Having grown up near Gurgrum, he spent a lot of time exploring underground tunnels and abandoned dwarven houses and complexes. His thirst for knowladge and exploration of the unknown grew from small playful expeditions. He tends to tinker when he is alone, while thinking of ways to improve the lives of those around him through his inventions. Despite his massive intellect however, Io is not street smart in the slightest, he is easily distracted and gullible and a little too kind for his own good. Typically Io doesn't prefer to speak about his past or where he came from and will usually redirect a conversation if its veering a little too close to that territory. He is generally gregarious, empathetic and optimistic.

Appearance: Io is of average human size and stature, standing at 5'9" he was always seen as "tall" around his dwarven friends. He has light brown skin and short, messy brown hair that has been cut time and time again. He always carries around a pair of reading glasses and wears a protective pair of goggles which he's tinkered with on more than one occasion, sometimes wearing both on his head at the same time. Normally he wears a robe made for comfort while studying, tho he decided to wear something a bit more "protective" on his journey, despite being told it would be safe. He now wears travelers robes made of stone cloth, a curious material of finely cut stone, enchanted to have the qualities of cloth while maintaining the durability of rock. Io carries a large bag on his back, filled with tools and his current projects.

Vynbulvr

Vynbulvr is a sword that Io forged in preparation for his journey to mount fifth, he had been tweaking the blueprints for months, but never had a reason to smelt a blade until now. Far from the most sturdy or magical blades, especially by dwarven standards, what makes the sword interesting is it's ability to change, via its designed compartments, and cleverly placed runes, Vynbulvr is a short sword, broad sword, ax, pike and spear all in one. It is far from the final version of the blade, but for now it gets the job done.
Yedvel and Marx

Yedvel is Io's chisel. A curious old thing, made of a combination of mythril and dragon's tooth. It is old and sacred, passed down to him by the doctor.
Marx is the hammer given to him by Liur. It is wooden and old, but much like her, it is durable and determined. Despite everything its been through its still in good condition.

Wulvers are avid fishers and can often be found along rivers and lakes fishing. Backstory:
Nairna grew up in the forest with her family, where she was taught to fish and how to hunt. Being an only cub, she was the sole focus of her parents and for a long time, life was tranquil. But when Nairna was fourteen, her family's territory was attacked by humans. Nairna never learned of the reason of their attack but she was forced to run by her father, and to this day she does not know what happened to her parents as when she returned, their home had been destroyed and they were nowhere in sight.


After the loss of her parents, Nairna ventured into the wild alone. She struggled to survive as it was winter and it was almost impossible to fish effectively. Exceedingly hungry, she resorted to sneaking into houses and rummaging through leftovers. One of the houses she happened to ransack belonged to an older warrior who took her in for the night and fed her.

She stayed with the warrior, Kensuke for two years. He gave her her dirks and taught her how to fight with them as well as introducing her to the fortified wine that she is now arguably addicted to. She was happy with Kensuke for a while, appreciating his teachings. After some time with him, he told her that she was then ready to leave into the wild and find her own path. Since then Nairna has been wandering the wilderness, travelling from town to town with no real goal other than simply for the adventure. However, she still lives a very solitery life, but she likes it that way.

He is equipped with armor that can act as a magic catalyst, allowing him to cast novice or intermediate spells usually with little preparation or incantations required. The gloves allow for offensive spells, while the armor is used to add slight buffs during battle, spells cast through the blade are only capapble of restorative properties. Without the equipment to act as a catalyst however, Gotthard is stripped of his access to magic.

Magic Abilities: The potency of each spell and enchantment varies depending on the amount of mana used, and the number of the spells Gotthard is casting. He cannot use a spell to its full power, unless it is the only spell in use.

Backstory: Gotthard was born of a High elf woman in Lal Mythel, his father being a simple human mercenary. Their love was forbidden by the Elven woman's family, and upon discovery of her pregnancy by Gotthard's grandparents, she was exiled. Shortly after Gotthard's birth the trio moved to Elongate, where his mother taught white magic, and his father continued his mercenary work. Gotthard's mother however, was never the same after being exiled and shamed for her love of Gotthard's father, and soon after his 6th birthday, she took her own life. The Knights father as well as Gotthard were alter greatly by this, Gotthard becoming obsessed with the idea of vengeance on the elves, and his father quitting mercenary work and retiring to blacksmithing. It was only with the help of magic scrolls left behind by Gotthard's mother; that his father was able to create the magic armor the knight currently wears. Finally on his 20th birthday, Gotthard left Elongate to begin his own mercenary work. Taking only the Armor his father made, the faint memory of his mother, and eternal disdain for high elves.

Backstory:
Born the first son of an Elven Duke, Lucies always had eyes on him. His father insisted on having him molded into the perfect child, forcing him to learn an abundance of languages, fencing, lyre, harpsichord, among other things. However his true passion was seeking out the arcane arts. He became very close to the court mage. The were often caught sneaking away to the woods so he could learn the basics of magic. His father saw no harm in his son’s quest for knowledge so he allowed them to continue their little escapades. However rumors began to stir; many saying the young duke was having a bit more than a student-teacher relationship with the court wizard. Upon hearing this, his father arranged a wedding for his son to dismantle the rumors. Lucies, not wanting to be trapped in a loveless marriage, begged his teacher to run away with him. He wished to explore the far reaches of the world with his love, to be truly free and happy. However, not all stories have a happy ending.

Elidyr is a scarcely know fortune teller. He travels town to town, making only enough money to get by. No one knows where he came from or what he truly is, but rumor has it that anyone who sees his face is bound to die within 24 hours. Whether that is true or not has yet to be seen.

Backstory: Once, long ago, a hint of Ussyr’s power was released into the world. Unwittingly nourished by the gods, it grew in power until it’s power matched that of the gods. However, before it could cause any destruction, a young woman named Varoi Esoth unwittingly absorbed the mass, and gave birth to Navum 9 months later. The power from the mass was transferred into Navum, who learned to harness small amounts of the power.

Backstory: Grew up with his mother ever since his dad left them. He was bullied a lot in middleschool, but trained intensively. The bulied became the bully in highschool. He learned that acting tough could get you far Ex-mercenary. Used to do some of the biggest jobs around. On one mission, he was walking with the rest of his squad, when a magical mine blew up right infront of him and he blacked out. When he awoke, he was the only survivor of the blast, but he was missing a leg. To this day, he used magic to make a prostetic leg.
