Occupation
(Occupations are what a trainer's central goal is. The list of occupations and what that entails (competition-wise, etc) will be below. Please note you can compete anything you want but that your occupation determines how you move forward (collecting gym badges/ribbons allows you to enter league/grandfestival, etc))
  • Battle Trainer- trains pokemon specifially to fight and compete in gym challenges. Tests of skill focusing simply on who can overcome their opponent. Tests include Gym Battles and League Challenges
  • Coordinator - trains pokemon in a mix of performance and battling. Tests of focus and stamina as trainer and pokemon must be sharp in two types of fields. Tests include Contests and Grand Festival
  • Performer - trains pokemon in performance competitions with no battling. Tests of bond and understanding between pokemon and trainer. Tests include Performances and Throne Battles (compete for Queen/King title).

  • Ranger - trains pokemon as partners to assist in missions and help others. They can also temporarily capture pokemon using a styler to complete tasks using the pokemon's abilities. Pokemon is released as soon as task is performed. Tests include Ranger Missions to reach higher ranks
  • Researcher - studies pokemon with their own pokemon as assistants. Typically have a field of focus and their goal is to further their knowledge of their study, report back to professor, and gain more recognition and prestige through their work.
  • Police Officer - uses pokemon to enforce law, help others, and maintain order. Bound by a code, but gain extra equipment and a reliable flow of money in exchange. Tests include stopping evil doers and assisting others to gain recognition and rise through ranks.
  • Groomer - uses skill to maintain pokemon for others. Test include doing successful styling gigs and assisting others to gain more recognition and eventually sign on with a successful coordinator or performer.
  • Athlete - competes in Pokeatholons with their pokemon and trains them to be fit for specific events. Rise through ranks by gaining medals. Ultimate goal is to reach top and get a sponsorship.
  • Connoisseur - uses skill to understand pokemons and bond with others. Often work in adoption and foster care of young pokemon to help them find their true home with a trainer. Tests include finding pokemon new homes, rescuing abandoned pokemon, and ultimately gaining higher recognition to sign on with a league association as their official connoisseur.

Name: Morgan Eliza Meifearow
Age : 12
Gender:
Female
Outfit Appearance (description)
Morgan typically wears a green headband with a white semi-pokeball pattern on the side that is a bit lopsided on her head. Her clothes are typically that of a simple black undershirt with a green vest on top, as well as black leggings. Otherwise, clothing wise she likes cute yet flexible clothes that are modest. Her clothes are always ready and on the go, with a style for any weather, so changing out is not too uncommon for her. She typically leaves her hair down
Personality Morgan is a hardworking yet nervous girl who tends to worry about the future a lot. She has little confidence in her abilities as a breeder and as such, often puts herself down saying things like "Oh no there are people who can do better!" and "Haha I'm a newbie I'm not worth the time!". While she is still training and is new, Morgan has proved to have great abilities as a breeder having successfully bred her partner pokemon: a Pichu just for her journey. While she struggles with confidence and can be a pushover, Morgan can be sarcastic and quirky, and is by no means shy. Being open-minded to others and accepting of new things, Morgan would help any person or pokemon without hesitation.

Morgan tends to take things too seriously and has trouble relaxing. Her way of making things stressful can be annoying to others. She takes things to heart, but is often too hard on herself and takes negative comments by others seriously. She can be easily bothered by small things and is overly apologetic, getting flustered easily by her mistakes. She understands this is wrong to do to herself, but as such can be hypocritical in her behavior as she treats herself poorly at times while doing anything she can for others. Her parents are fairly strict which is the cause for her overly apologetic nature and high sense of stress and doubt. She fears disappointing people.

Backstory Morgan grew up in Snowpoint City, Sinnoh where she was accustomed to many days of trudging through the snow to school everyday. Her family life was fairly normal with a father who worked at a local business and a mother who stayed at home to take care of her and her younger brother. Morgan herself always loved spending time with her parents pokemon, and was always amazed by the family relationships between pokemon and trainer. Her fascination in this increased her passion for caring for pokemon, leading her to dream of being a breeder and helping trainers find their ideal pokemon.

Morgan's parents are caring people, however her father tends to yell and get angered easily, as well as be strict with Morgan and her brother. This caused Morgan, while loving her father, to prefer being out of the house and exploring the world. It's one of the reasons she chose to travel in her studies to be a breeder rather than studying at home.

Name: Feyna Miller
Age: 13
Gender:
female
Outfit Appearance:

Aside from her dark oval glasses and her habit to wear a scarf on all but the hottest days, Feyna usually doesn't have any accessories on her. Her clothes tend to be simple as well: her favourite outfit consists of white jeans (ignoring the fact that they are prone to getting stained) and a grey t-shirt with a Pokéball logo right over the heart. On colder days Feyna will wear a light grey cardigan and/or a dark blue rain jacket to keep warm. Her shoes of choice are white and blue sneakers. She doesn't feel too comfortable wearing fancy clothing as well as skirts or dresses, but she'll put them on if she has to attend an occasion that calls for more formal dress. When it comes to her hair, Feyna prefers to tie it into a low ponytail or a single braid to keep it out of the way - except for her bangs and some pesky strands that won't stay put sometimes.
Personality:
One of Feyna's prominent traits is her curiousity, which played a part in her wanting to become a researcher. While seeking to understand how things work and finding out about the reasons behind various phenomena, she also loves trivia and random tidbits of information - though she is prone to forgetting or misremembering the more unusual ones. Also, her love of learning doesn't mean that her general memory and logical abilities are outstanding - Feyna is actually pretty average in innate abilities, but she keeps persevering in her endeavours thanks to her enthusiasm for the things she loves.

On top of that, Feyna tends to get lost in thoughts or daydreaming, exploring stray thoughts and tangents that wander into her head. This causes her to lose track of conversations sometimes, or to not notice people addressing her right away. Aside from this, she is somewhat confident in her interactions with other people, as long as they do not have an agressive or condescending stance towards her. Feyna dislikes conflict in general, and if it cannot be avoided, she would rather seek a peaceful solution, so people who show open agression or other strong emotions like anger tend to throw her off balance. This also makes her a non-competitive sort of person: to her, it does not matter much to be the "first" or "best" in something, as long as she can keep moving towards and eventually reaching her goals.
Backstory:
Feyna grew up in Sandgem Town, offering both a quiet environment for her to grow up and a manageable distance to her school in Jubilife City. Her father works as a lab assistant in Professor Rowan's lab, which influenced her choice of occupation as well. Due to his job taking up a large portion of his day, he is not very close with his daughter, although they generally have a good relationship. Maybe subconsciously, Feyna wanted to get into Pokémon research to enter her father's world because of this.
Her mother stayed at home while first her older sister and then Feyna herself were little, but started working part-time as a vendor in the local Pokémart again a few years ago.

While she does find Pokémon battles interesting to watch, Feyna has always been more interested in how the Pokémon moves work than the actual outcome of the battle, ruling out the career of a battle trainer early on. She did learn to hold her own in battle as far as routine situations, e.g. encountering wild Pokémon, are concerned, but never took it farther than that. Still, her favoured field of research are the workings of Pokémon attacks, which is one of the reasons for her to go on a journey: The professor with that field of focus is Professor Kukui in Alola, making a study trip necessary sooner or later. And when already travelling, why not visit as many places as possible to broaden your perspective?

(I hope my character is alright like this? Else please tell me what to edit, and I'll get to it as soon as possible. Also, if the image doesn't work or something, please tell me - I tend to be bad at handling them ^^; )
