Character Portrait Commissions

Last time I made an art thread, people seemed to enjoy it. So I'm gonna try my hand at making more than my own stuff.

I'll be using this as sample art.

And yes, I know that a few posts and a hundred view isn't much to boast about when it took about a week, but I'd still like to at least try and save people from the troubles of looking on Google for images for their characters.

Here's some info about my artstyle in case you couldn't tell by the pictures from the other thread:

I'm much better at simple, lighthearted drawings.

I can't do anything complex.

I can only draw characters in certain kinds of poses.

And here comes the guideline I'd like you to follow when requesting a portrait:

Hair Style and Color (orange, no bangs, spiked in back, etc.)

Eye Style and Color (timid and blue, etc.)

Facial Features and Shape (mole, dot-for-a-nose, chibi-like face, etc.)

Skin Color (tan, pale, brown, purple, etc.)

Body Shape (thick, hourglass, etc.)

Clothing (you should know what clothing is)

If a character doesn't come out exactly how you wanted or is taking a while to get completed, please don't be angry with me. :c

But I'll try my hardest to get it done how you want it.

Hey, I finally got around to posting. Are you proud? xP


Anyway, I'd like you to draw my OC Endin. His hair is pretty messy since he rarely ever has the time to brush it so some parts of his hair stick out. He does have bangs, which cover all of his forehead, but it stops at his eyes. They go towards the right. Since Endin is based off a Pachirisu, his hair is snow white. Pale skin, with electric yellow eyes with a hint of brown in them, the eye style having an oval shape that's tilted. His nose is basically a line, with a sharp edge. Imagine a cliff, and there's Endin's nose. Facial structure? Erm... Imagine Natsu from Fairytale. Copy his face shape. Yeah, I'm lazy at describing things right now so I apologize for any inconvenience.


Body shape is thin, as he's short as well.


He wears a light blue cloak. A white shirt along with dark brown pants and a satchel with spell books 'cuz I use him in Adventure/Fantasy RPs. If you want, you can have him using a spell with electricity. .3.


Do it whenever you want, I'm in no rush. And don't pull the salty Bladewing on me. Please and thank you, I hope you can do my request. (> )

Agh, no. I'm still nervous to post on anybody else's posts.


Why don't I draw you something? I don't know. One of your new OCs or refurbished ones? I feel too guilty knowing that I'm having you draw something while I am sittin' down basically staring at a wall waiting for you to finish.

Well, I do have a new OC whom I've been trying to elaborate on for a few days. I don't have a last name for him, but I have drawin him more than once. He has two outfits so far.

Whichever outfit you wanna draw is your choice. For the one in the white shirt, I wasn't able to make a full-body drawing, but he'd normally be wearing green flip-flops.

Oh, I have his first name down already. It's Mars. Silly, I know, but it fits him in more than one way. I'm still having trouble figuring out his last name.

Based off SU and anime (mostly SU).


It's fine. Another copy of him would look boring. I like seeing drawings in different styles.

I honestly don't know how you did that. I usually export my drawings to the SD card and upload them onto the PC. Then I upload them onto Photobucket and link them to sites from there.


But I'm gonna need to go for a bit. I don't know when I'll be back, but if it takes longer than 40 minutes, go ahead and do whatever else.


In the meantime, try talking to people or see if there are any roleplays that interest you.

Miiverse is a great thing adding screenshots album. I just go on MV, and then save the picture with the album and then go onto my computer and save the file. Ta-da, there you go.
