Ellory is a pale young woman with fair, slightly melancholic features. Her skin is the texture of alabaster and although alabaster is a stone, one would be correct in thinking that Ellory is of fragile form. Her frame is petite and dainty and her long golden-blonde hair falls to just above waist length. Her fathomless eyes seem to be pensive and disconnected most of the time and are a bluish-grey hue. At a glance, her appearance is that of dreamy detachment, but one will find she has a warm and serene smile when engaging in conversation.
Preferred style of clothing:
Ellory has quite a keen eye for what is both fashionable and comfortable, despite being such a dreamy character. She has a love for classic looks and takes inspiration from women such as Audrey Hepburn, incorporating modern twists to the style.
Sometimes ignorance really is bliss Ellie Prior
Personality:
Ellory fortunately (or unfortunately, whichever way you'd like to see it), has a heightened sense of self-awareness, and likes to use the title of a song from the musical South Pacific to describe the way she sees the world. The aforementioned song is 'A Cock-Eyed Optimist'. Ellory tries to see the world not as it is, but how it should be, which means she tends to neglect to see the flaws in others and prefers to help the positives shine through. She believes everyone can be redeemed and is proud of her overly-optimistic nature, despite knowing deep in her heart that nothing can be as idealistic as she would like.
Ellory is an introvert, preferring her own company in order to recharge after a long day of socialising and many of her hobbies tend to be solo hobbies such as reading and arts and crafts. She is a perfectionist when it comes to her passions and although not usually a detail oriented person, she will have exacting standards when it comes to these things. This becomes especially difficult if her passion is directed into a specific person or persons, as most feel intimidated by standards they cannot uphold. This usually leads to friendships and romantic relationships simply fading away over time. That being said, Ellory holds friendships in high esteem and is loyal even when loyalty is truly not deserved.
Ellie is a creative soul and has a tendency to want everything to be symbolic and meaningful. She is able to find symbolism in almost anything and is perceptive about the wants of other people, making her an effective socialiser and reluctantly popular. She is not one to enjoy the limelight much, preferring to celebrate the achievements of others.

The family's lifestyle was decidedly middle-class, and their mindset conservative and though Ellie always loved her parents, she could not bring herself to align with their views of self-preservation over community service. Her father was slightly more sympathetic of her idealistic and creative sensibilities, but her mother had always been the more pragmatic of the two and tried to quash Ellie and her elder sibling's creative disposition, in favour of more practical and traditional career routes.
Since Ellie was around the age of five, she had always been fascinated with and in awe of her uncle Ian (her father's brother) who was a freelance musician and somewhat of a kindred spirit. She would relish the times when she would be allowed to visit him and he was the person who always pushed for Ellie to be allowed an instrument of her choosing. On her seventh birthday, she received a hand-me-down guitar from her uncle and although her parents weren't fond of the gift, she was allowed to learn the instrument and has played ever since. Unfortunately, her Uncle Ian died of lung cancer when she was twelve, but she has dedicated several songs to his memory.
As Ellie got older, her liberal social views began to clash greatly with her parents' views and she began to rebel in her own way by starting up her first band at the age of fifteen, knowing this was her parents' worst nightmare. The band (The Blood Moon) did well and she wrote a fair few well received songs with them, booking shows off their own backs and travelling to gigs with the help of her friends' more supportive parents.
The band split up once secondary school was over, and to her mother's dismay, Ellie is still pursuing her music career even now that she has left home.
