Other Character creating right now and I’d almost forgotten how fun this is

I’m writing a story and the plot is falling kinda flat. But I realized its because my main antagonist is flat. So I’m character creating from scratch nd now I need to role play him. I’m so excited.

He’s an old guy in my story but I want to play him as a kid so I can build his story. I’ve made dolls of him as a kid and an old guy and now I just need a new name.

Character creating is insanely entertaining (and time consuming). It’s probably why it hurts so much when a roleplay flops after spending so much time on one or more intricate backstories.
