Fandom Chapter One: Summer's End - Anime Edition

Freshmen are the newbies in the school and are at the bottom of the foodchain. They've just left middle school and have to learn a whole new survival system. They're chopped liver to the Seniors and have to find a way into a group, the right group. The ones that they belong in to be able to work their way up the foodchain. Good luck!

Sophomores are getting to know the survival skills of high school but still have a long way to go. They're under the Juniors that could eat them alive. If you haven't found out where you belong by now you're runnin' outta time. By the time you're in your Junior year you need to know who you are in high school or you're dead meat and put at the bottom of the foodchain again. Hope you're having fun!

Juniors are the high schoolers getting ready to rule the school. Juniors are the nasty Sophomore eating beasts. By the time you reach this grade as you know you must know who your high school self is or you're placed back at the bottom of the foodchain. You have to be ready to rule if you want to be bumped up on the food chain. Are you ready to be a king?!

Seniors! Welcome to the very top! The Seniors have the most amazing privileges in the school. They're the rulers over all the school! So help them they will send you to the bottom if they have to! Freshmen are chopped liver, Sophomores are their stomping grounds, and Juniors are the kings in training. Your majesties welcome to your kingdom!

Brook Grove Academy -

Brook Grove was founded in 1940 in London, England by two American college teachers named John Grove and James Brook. They were two very selfish men who lived for the thrill of their studies. So they decided to buy a property smack in the middle of London! They named it after themselves because they were so proud of what they had done. James lived longer than John had but they both died with the same passion that they started their friendship.

Ready to Start.

Hello!
We have enough people to start. Let's make a couple of things clear:


1) It's less than one month before the end of summer break. But more than two weeks. So about 4 days and two weeks.


2) Nearing the end of summer. Some people might be back to school shopping because they're either done with summer and have nothing else to do or they're great scholars.


3) I'm re-making my character. Just saying.

Nikolai

Nikolai hated it every second of it but he couldn't help it. Shopping was his sisters job not his. He walked through the mall alone as others were occupying their thoughts with what their friends or parents were telling them he was walking around trying to find somewhere they were selling hoodies and not summer clothes. He was wearing white skinny jeans with stained black paint spots. His pulled on the hem of his grey t-shirt. He was alone unlike everyone else he had seen so far. He wasn't bothered by it though he just wanted a hoodie. Nothing else even though he still had a whole list of things to buy with the 10 dollars that his sister had given him for back to school shopping.

Ryushi sighed, looking over all the clothing in front of him. He had made money working for his uncle during the summer, and his mother had pressured him into going out to buy new clothes for the upcoming school year. After having questioned his mom about it, she had simply answered that his current clothes made him look like a drug-addict. He looked down at his 'drug-addict' clothes, which consisted of a dirty-red shirt, stained from working for his uncle, faded black jeans, and work boots. He sighed, grabbing a couple of T-shirts and a pair of sneakers, checking out and walking through the mall. He walked into the local game shop, looking over what there was. Nothing too interesting, so he walked out and continued to meander through the mall.

Sora

Staring up at his ceiling fan and watching it turn ever so slowly, a gentle knock came from his door. Sora spoke with his normal absentminded tone "Come in." The door slide open and his mom walked in forcing a slight smile. "Would mind you mind going to the mall and getting the things you need for school? I'll be busy with work and..." She had almost made a joke about how he was more frugal than his father, but stopped herself and dropped her gaze to the floor. Tears began to block her vision and fall to the carpeted floor. Sora saw this and quickly spoke with his same tone "You don't need to explain why I should go. I'll go right now." Sora got up from his bed and hugged his mom. It felt like an instinct to comfort his mom even though he felt nothing. His mom embraced him as hard as she could and buried her head in his shoulder. "I left the money on the living room table. Now go." his mom said still a little choked up as she left his light clasp. Slipping by his mom as she left for her room, Sora pocketed the money and ventured out of his air conditioned home into the hot and humid outdoors.


After a half hour of walking under the relentless sun, he had reached the mall. Sora's eyes glazed over when he noticed that he didn't need to buy anything. His body entered the building, but his mind was still frozen from noticing the wasted time. When he snapped back into reality, he was standing before a fountain in the middle of the mall. Sora sat himself at one of the four benches that faced the water jetting structure. Two benches contained couples while the last bench had a large group of people crowding around and conversing with one another. He paid them no mind though, the arching water held his full attention. 'I'll just think of what to do here. It's nice here.' Sora thought before retreating to his mind.
