Ginger is an easygoing and cheerful person who gives away smiles like confetti at a parade. She is kind-hearted to a fault and is extremely protective of people she cares for, though despite her friendly attitude she seems to keep most people at an arm's length when it comes to her personal issues. Despite her cheerful exterior and laid back demeanour, Ginger seems to have a somewhat nihilistic view on society as a whole, a view that she hides behind humor and a good-natured personality.

Nic is mostly quiet and aloof even from people he likes. Occasionally he speaks out of irritation or when someone isn't able to understand sign language (due to him being deaf), but largely he doesn't bother to accommodate people who can't communicate with him. Though frequently irritable he's also capable of small acts of kindness. He likes to pick on people and has a dark and sarcastic sense of humor. He also seems to enjoy fighting, as he often is seen smiling while in combat. When fighting people weaker then himself, he is shown to toy with them.

He is married to Ginger Arcangelo and normally teaches with her due to him being deaf,


He can understand what most people say via lipreading.


He has eyes of a hawk to compensate for the loss of his hearing.


Nicolas is able to produce speech, which is incredibly rare for people innately deaf. When he does speak, it's distorted, and he doesn't really seem to enjoy doing it, as he more often than not just stays quiet if someone can't communicate properly with him.

Oh my another deaf person we seem to be harder and harder to come by these days! (that's a good thing I think)
