It was a normal day in Tokyo as people were doing their daily business, whether it be going to work or school. However, no one could predict what was coming and that the Spider Devil would start its rampage on the streets. People screamed and ran away, which only made the Spider Devil seek them out more. Cars crashed into each other trying to get away from the devil and the carnage was already too much.

The chances of beating it are slim but you’re still doing this?

Imato Ogawa chuckled as his voice of reason tried to warn him against fighting the Spider devil. He wanted a challenge and he was finally able to get one. The insane devil hunter got up from his chair at a cafe charged at the Spider Devil.

“Alright unlucky Devil,” Imato said out loud, “let's do our thing.” Imato would have to accept bad luck to gain the devil’s abilities in combat. He pulled out his cane and slashed the Spider’s legs, his cane extended to hit the long legs. But due to bad luck, Imato was flung backwards by one of the legs into a nearby building.

The boy groaned as he got up, thanks to the Unlucky Devil he was not smashed to bits but he did have bad luck. A piece of debris would then fall on Imato and trap him causing the boy to groan in annoyance.

“Come on really?” Imato complained, struggling to free himself from the fallen debris before the Spider could web him up.

Imato just hoped that Goro wouldn’t see him in peril like this since he would probably not let him live this down for the rest of his life. Ugh, Imato hated being humiliated by members of Division 5.

The Spider Devil rampage was not hard to spot from a distance. Yuno Ejiri sighed as she knew that she should help out instead of enjoying her day out in the park. She really did want to enjoy her day out at the park but there was always a Devil to kill. Yuno started to walk towards the exit of the park, taking her time to get to the battle. What was Agata going to do to her if she didn’t show up on time?

What she didn’t know was that the attack was a surprise, even to Agata who knew everything. Yuno didn’t get any calls or texts from him or any of the other members of Division 5 who would normally tell her about this. Yuno was out of the loop on a lot of Devil matters and she was frustrated by it. Agata kept treating her like a kid that needed to be protected, hell even her first Devil contract was one of the minor Devils that were not too powerful.

Yuno figured that taxi’s would not be arriving because of reasons, so she would have to run towards the Spider Devil. Hopefully, she was able to make it before the Devil killed too many people and none of her teammates died. The Devil hunter tried to hurry as fast as she could but it was a long way away.

“If only I had the speed Devil,” Yuno muttered to herself as she panted, running through the streets to get to the scene of the battle. She was going to be late like always for a Devil battle and some consequences were probably going to present itself.
