Roleplay Type(s)
Good evening, I am Jacques. The household butler of Cerberus Vale. If you are a newcomer, welcome! I shall show you around soon enough. But first, let us sign you in, okay?
~
Name: The name of your character, full name if you would be so kind.

Age: The age of your character.

Gender: What is the gender of your character?

Race: Multiple supernatural beings exist, why not tell us if you're one? Unless you are human. But don't worry, I as well am human.
~
Appearance: A description or a picture should suffice!\

True form: Reserved for supernatural beings, give a description of what your true form looks like, or to make it easier give a picture!

Personality: I find it best as a butler to understand someone when they give me a good sentence or two of what they are like.

Bio: How did you get here? Everyone has a story, even I as the butler, have a story to tell.
~
Powers: Supernatural beings have at least 3 distinct powers among them, Master Vale has even trained humans to allow them to unlock powers of their own. What are yours? (Let your powers be an extension of your supernatural being/human, but do not be too overpowered with your abilities. Understand that everyone has weaknesses, to start off, all characters will still be training to master their powers.)

Weapons: Each member of the family acquires a enchanted weapon specially crafted by Ezekiel, the family Blacksmith. This weapon is most notably used for the slaying of monsters. And, by right is a ceremonial gift upon completion of becoming a Hunter among Cerberus Vale. Newcomers will gain their weapon in time, and in the beginning are gifted normal human weaponry to use. (Even if you are a newcomer, please create an enchanted weapon so that when the ceremony is conducted, the weapon is already accounted for and known to others, other than that put down any normal weapons your character might use. REMEMBER! The Enchanted weapon is an importance piece to a Hunter of Cerberus Vale, make sure the weapon is crafted suiting the needs of your character. If your character excels at fighting with spears, make an enchanted spear!)

As you can already tell, this is the character sheet for the roleplay. Usually if I like the post, that means the character is accepted. Await your cookies!

Name: Joseph Vale

Age: Over 2,000 years old.

Gender: Male

Race: Full Demon
~
Appearance: 8mxGjae.jpg

True form: Joseph's form changes drastically, becoming a muscular, 8 foot tall demon with bat-like wings behind him. His horns grow much like goat horns do.

Personality: Joseph is a wise, righteous and kind leader to his students. He is not afraid to show his compassion to his students, whom he considers family. He believes that finding a righteous path is only achievable through kindness and protection for all.

Bio: Joseph's history is a long one, and is reserved for the Lore page (when I set it up)
~
Powers: 1) Joseph is able to heal the wounds of his comrades, ranging from minor to fatal. 2) Joseph is able to manipulate the movement of objects, a sort of telekinesis, except more advanced at his age and experience. 3) Joseph's third and final power is a blood-related one. Where his aura is able to emit a sort of soothing energy around others. This helps relaxes the body if it has been through serious injury, and allows people to fall into a sort of healing sleep.

Weapons: Joseph wielded a large, enchanted greatbow in his youth, being an amazing shot with it. The arrows specially made for the weapon were usually coated with runic writing. And were deadly to any demon that were caught within the pierce of his arrows. Joseph has long since put down his greatbow though, and has left it to Ezekiel the Blacksmith's care.

Name: Soma Vale

Age: 950

Gender: Male

Race: Full Demon
~
Appearance:
DJUcQEJUQAAYy9g.jpg
soma2.jpg

True form:
1354922309-0592386-www.nevsepic.com.ua.jpg

Personality: Soma is brash, hard-headed, overly-energetic, and impulsive by nature. Having rejected the evils of his demonic bloodline, Soma is able to experience empathy and compassion, loyalty and honesty as well. He will never let his fellow comrades down, they are family to him.

Bio: Soma was found by Joseph a couple hundred years after the closing of the Demon Realm. The two easily connected because of realizing the other had broken free from the shackles of their evil blood. Because of this, Joseph adopted the boy and they both would travel the world in search of a land where they wouldn't be realized as other-worldy creatures. All the while, Joseph taught Soma how to fight, how to use his powers, how to have manners and etiquette, read and write. Upon finding Bordova, Joseph bought an estate far enough away that the people wouldn't get too involved in their life. Soma came up with the idea of creating a family of Hunters after 3 years of living in Bordova and hunting down monsters in the night. This idea exploded in Joseph's mind, and he soon enough initiated the Cerberus Vale Family.
~
Powers: 1) Soma is able to regenerate at a slow rate, healing minor wounds within minutes, whereas fatal wounds take hours. He will slowly but surely learn to master this power over time, being able to regenerate at faster rates later on in the story. 2) Soma is able to create immense bursts of energy to attack his foes, such as with a sword he would create a large energy slash, make purely out of compressed demonic energy. Or with a gun, a larger, stronger bullet encased in energy that would puncture through a monster. 3) Soma has a power that he is not fully aware of yet, and still unable to unlock. This power is basically a support system for his allies in battle, his demonic energy will begin to split, and grab onto all allies nearby, boosting their strength, stamina, durability, speed, and magical prowess.

Weapons: Soma wields a customized proto-type revolver that is his go-to weapon for monster hunting. Though he has not yet used his special weapon, deciding to keep it sheathed around the backside of his waist instead. The katana's handle and sheath are made out of shards of Joseph's own Greatbow having chipped off, and the blade of the Katana is forged from the arrowheads of Joseph's arrows. The Runic Writing transfering into the shape of the blade, when Soma unleashes the blade's true potential, a sort of blood-like energy seeps from the blade, helping cut through even stronger, magical material.

Name:
Ivrina "Irvi" Tills

Age:
13

Gender:
Female

Race:
Human

~
Appearance:
tumblr_p6d4zqpHLy1vwkkmoo1_1280.png

Personality:
Ivrina, or Irvi, as she prefers, is a relatively kind-hearted girl who enjoys the little things in life. She tends to be nervous and more recluse in new places and around new people, usually going quiet and refusing to speak until she warms up and becomes more comfortable. Regardless of her skittishness, Irvi is stubborn to a point and can become distressed if she knows she can't protect what little she has and loves.

Typically, Irvi wears a crazy amount of sweaters or hoodies, often layering 2 or 3 on top of each other, even in the middle of summer. She complains about being cold often and has a higher than average body temperature. Winter tends to be a miserable time for her, and was often teased by her aunt that she looked like a marshmallow by how many layers she wore.

Bio:
Ivrina never knew her parents very well, only hearing things about them from her auntie, whom she lived with in Halbert City. Her parents, though alive and well and living a happy life in Sanctum City, had never wanted a child, and would've sent her to an orphanage out of the city had her aunt not stepped in and adopted the little one herself. Irvi doesn't remember what it was like in Sanctum, being too young to retain what little she was exposed to there, but was often told stories by her aunt about what it was like in Sanctum, during those anxious times where she was unable to sleep. Even as a younger child, Irvi expressed her dream of some day going away to Sanctum City, in hopes of seeing her parents. Granted, whenever she spoke about this, talk of unicorns were often thrown into the mix. She specifically recalls one day saying that she'd ride a unicorn made of strawberries all the way to her parents' house, or that if she ever went to their home there'd be a unicorn waiting there for her. Along with this, she'd often wonder what it'd be like to have a dad, after realizing most of the other kids at school had one. Her aunt had never married, so Irvi never really had a father figure in her life, but in every sense that mattered her aunt was her mother.

Life was quiet and nice, despite Irvi's little peculiarities. She worried doctors often with her higher than usual temperature, but eventually it was simply accepted as her normal. Her aunt found it a little odd that'd she'd wear winter coats in the middle of summer or multiple sweaters during school hours, and though she tried to dissuade Irvi from doing so, the younger girl persisted and insisted it was freezing outside, and that her aunt was the crazy one for not wearing a coat. The girl would always be warm to the touch, but when asked, Irvi would always complain about it being chilly wherever she went. Needless to say, winter was not the funnest time for her, although Irvi does have fond memories here and there involving her going sledding with her best friend at the time.

Her life took a turn a month or so ago, when her aunt unexpectedly fell ill and swiftly became bedridden. The doctors that came by didn't give many details to her regarding her aunt's condition, but from the looks she caught, Irvi knew they were concerned, and that she wasn't well. Irvi was given a little locket her aunt had been keeping safe, and inside was a photo of her parents when they were younger. The girl spent the rest of that night crying, out of grief for the parents she never got to have and out of fear for her pseudo mother's health. Rest did not come easily, and all she wanted was to revert back to when she was little and listen to her aunt, happy and healthy, tell her stories about life outside their little farming city.

The doctor's hadn't expected the illness to affect her aunt so quickly and harshly, and it had taken her away after just a week had passed. The funeral was short but sweet, although not many people attended besides Irvi. Not even her parents came to attend, though she wasn't even sure if they knew what had happened. It felt like her life was crumbling to pieces, especially after she was told she'd have to go to an orphanage. Her parents still didn't care, and that hurt almost as much as her aunt's passing. By all means, the orphanage was lovely, although her view on the place was a bit tainted due to the circumstances of her arrival. Irvi didn't get much time to get used to the place, getting taken out just a few days ago after spending 2-3 weeks at the home. The person taking her told her they were going to a lovely place, and that things would be better where they were going. Going with them was terrifying at first, but after the multi-day journey they arrived at Cerberus Vale Estate. Which, arguably, made things more scary for her. Despite this, Irvi knew where they were- Sanctum City. Though she was terrified of what would come next, she was still a little hopeful of the slim chance she'd get to see her family.

The past 2 days haven't been the greatest for Irvi, with her barely speaking more than a few words at a time in her struggle to adjust to everything. Still, the newcomer is trying to stay hopeful in her new and unfamiliar location, regardless of the difficulties she's been met with.

~
Powers:
Irvi is currently unfamiliar with her gifts, not knowing exactly what she can do, although she knows they exist. Most of her powers are fire based, and though they can be dangerous to other people, they are also a danger to herself. A double edged sword, so to speak. 1) She has a slight resistance to heat and flame, but by all means she is not immune to it. 2) Irvi can create fire through her hands, something that can cause her burns during extended use. Though this can become a versatile power, it is currently very limited, but can improve with further use. 3) She is able to extend flames to stick to weaponry, be it swords, arrows, etc.

Weapons:
Right now, Irvi just has a simple lil sword boi. In the future, however, the special weapon crafted for her would be a flame resistant katana that looks a bit like this:

Well, my mouse wheel kinda sucks today, so:

  • "You are facing this town's hero of jus— no, demon of justice~☆"

    Name: Cordelia Zale

    Age: Roughly 500 years old

    Gender: Female

    Race: Full Demon

Might add some Bio once the Lore thread is up, but for now consider it done.

Edit: I decided to add chapter-based stories to her bio. While being heavily comedic, tearjerking, and now filled with lackluster actions like a stock novel, they will greatly expand her personality and make her actions in the RP a lot more understandable. This will of course take some time and is still in progress.

Name:
Jian Wu

Age:
22

Gender:
Female

Race:
Human
~~~
Xingcai_(DW9).png
Personality:
Jian typically gives the outward impression of being polite to her superior, considerate of her friends, and confident in herself. She has occasional moments of bashfulness around whenever she is around someone she likes and has competitiveness, but otherwise appears quite collected. This reservation, though never disingenuous, frequently masks how Jian really feels. Jian tries to keep her temper at bay but when it comes out it can be quite violent.
She is willing to sacrifice herself to protect her friends, who she values very deeply.
Bio:
Jian lived a pretty normal life, she was a only child and it was just her and her parents. She a pretty peaceful and happy life. But all that change sadly. When Jian was young she was bestfriends with young boy. They played all the time together and would even stick up for each other if one got bullied. One day she discovered his secret of him being demon but he assured he wasn't bad or anything. He also made her promise not to tell anyone. Things went back to normal but one day her world got totally flipped. One day when she got home she found both of her parents dead and blood everywhere. She quickly ran out of the house scared and confused and that was when she saw her friend. She started crying telling him what happened but he didn't seemed like he cared in fact he was acting kind of acting strange then she noticed something there was blood on him that's when it hit her. She asked if he killed them the only response he gave her was creepy smile and slowly started morphing and walking towards. She ran for life. The creature chased and her. Even when she made it to the forest she still hear the creature chasing after. Luckily for her when she got out of the forest she saw house and quickly ran up to it and knocking on the calling out for someone to open the door and help her. When the door finally opened she frantically told the butler who had opened the door what happened but when butler looked out to see if the monster was there he couldn't fine anything. He told her she was safe now and that the master of the house would take her in and keep her safe. It was a lot for 12 year old girl and sometimes even now she doesn't fully even trust the demons. The fact she knew that boy for years and he turned on her like that made her a bit distrustful. They seemed fine now but all she could think about was that moment they suddenly change and try to kill her. She was scared she even avoided to ever be alone in a room with a demon. Though would never admit to being afraid. She was thankful for the man taking her in but it was very clear that she would probably never ever fully trust him, his son or any other demon.
~~~
Powers:
She can create force fields/barriers of a different sizes and can make more then one, but it takes energy and concentration also she feels part of the damage the force fields takes on.

Weapons:
Unbreakable Sword and Shield

Name:
Riko G. Miracus (Pronounced as Rii-koh)

Age:
15

Gender:
Male

Race:
Human

Appearance:
33f423076eac03595b94d5cef7406af5--kinos-journey-watch.jpg

Standing at 5'6 and weighs around a 138 lbs. He has a slim body build (Rather malnourished). A body type that mistakenly sometimes confuses others if he is a she or a he. He wears a faded green uniform of some kind overlapped with a big brown trench coat. He has two pistol holsters on his hips. Fitting almost any pistol type of firearms. He wears a pair of brown work boots. He has always-so-sleepy eyes and a clam peaceful expression.

Personality:
Riko is quiet by nature. Although he is not anti social nor rude. He will give out small talk with his very soft spoken voice. One can notice he speaks out whatever is in his mind. Whether it's random thoughts or ideas. The small fry never seems to be afraid of almost anything. Like he has seen death a thousand times and just got over with it. Riko has always been soft to others to the point he never says anything bad. In fact you'll just hear him confess his feelings without him thinking first. Despite his mysterious nature he shows care and compassion for others the most. You'll slowly figure out what kind of person Riko is, if you just let him talk.

Bio:

Born an orphan. Riko never had the chance to live a happy life with a family. He spent years living in an orphanage. Despite how good his life was there. He was being constantly bullied by other children. He escaped the bullied life at his age of 8, alone. Somewhere, he was all on his own without supervision of adults. That is until he was kidnapped by a group of bandits. Riko was the perfect pawn of their evil scheme. Forcing him to sneak in public places, armed with a gun to break deals. He spent years being a criminal and always got away with it. He had no other choice. If wanted to survive he has to play along. It's no surprise if he knows how a mind of a criminal works. He had a one night chance to escape this horrid low life, crime life. He escaped the bandit base with a flintlock blunderbuss pistol in his holster.

As fled away from his bandit camp. He found a little girl being held for hostage by single man, while he ventured away to seek a knew life. He knew what he had to do. The girl's parents were there too. Watching their daughter cry for help. He remembered what it felt like to be in her shoes. He knew what had to do. He knew using his gun would be a big risk on seeking a new life but he didn't want the girl to end up in a horrible death. So he shot the man in the head dead with the one round left in his gun. He may have trouble fighting later but at least he saved a life. A small community in fact took recognition of his noble action. An impressive one too. Because it was the most quickest quick draw they have seen in history as witnesses say. This was the last time Riko was last seen until he was found again in Cerberus Vale with no ammo in his gun. He is by the way a newcomer.

Powers:

1. Enhanced Perception and Reflex (Locked)- An ability he has yet to unlock. He is able to increase his vision and reflexes that is beyond human level. He becomes so quick he can reload his own gun that can level modern day guns. He has a high chance of accuracy too. So he is less likely to miss. He also has night vision at this state. The only downside of this ability is that his eyes glow green that will likely attract monsters. This only lasts for a short while if he doesn't practice.

2. Beyond evil's eyesight (Locked)- A good ability that will increase his chances of surviving vicious monster attacks. This ability turns his whole body dark blue. Nothing special right? This is what the human eyes see to him. To Monsters, regardless of how powerful their eyesight is. He is completely invisible in plain sight of supernatural beings. The only flaw about this ability is that he is literally invisible to the eye of his teammates who are not complete human. (Half humans partially see him. Riko is blurry to their eyes) Unless of course they have good hearing.

3. Wings of a fallen angel (Locked)- You heard me right but hear me out on this one. He is not an angel or anything. He grows a pair of glowing angel wings on his back that can use to fly around for only a short period of time. The down side is that he is scared of heights and the wings are sensitive. One good shot on the wings can give him a big trouble.

Weapons:
Riko came into the estate with a empty flintlock Blunderbuss but it's about to get replaced by a revolver that seems to be in it's early stages. So recoil is strong yet it's designed to kill monsters, for it is enchanted with runic writings in it's revolving barrel. The revolver is enhanced in bullet speed thanks to it's enchantment. It's not the best in fact. He has to manually hammer it down instead of itself doing it for him. So he has to use two hands for the gun.

Name: Sayogoromo Seikatsu
Age: 200
Gender: Male
Race: Full Demon
~
Appearance: His 120 pound body is of course, very thin and being six feet tall doesn’t help. Several of his bones are clearly defined thanks to his weight issues. Because he looks so sickly, Sayogoromo makes sure to take very good care of his olive skin. While it does lack a radiance expected of someone his age, his skin is still soft and smooth. Just above his chest, Sayogoromo‘s collarbone is proudly on display with his ribs being easy to see and count. His spine is just as visible as the aforementioned bones. Of course, his fingers are very thin with short nails painted black. Sayogoromo’s long legs are the same way and lead down to a set of toenails that are also painted black. Because he is underweight, whenever, Sayogoromo’s blood starts to race, the veins in his arms and hands become visible.
Long, silky, black hair cascades down his back to the top of his buttocks. His hair is well taken care of and his rather thick, but he looks like a member of the undead whenever it is not styled. Normally, he wears his hair in ways that women often would. Intricate styles and ornate accessories are normal for, Sayogoromo and his hair is normally done up in a classical shimada style. Golden combs, flowers, and a variety of items have been used to adorn his hair.
A set of bangs usually hide, Sayogoromo’s forehead and come down far enough just to touch his thin eyebrows. Under his brow, a pair of eyes look out upon the world. A dark brown in color, narrow lids give them a sharp form, while skill allows them to switch between warm or dangerous at a moment’s notice. His black lashes create a dense canopy around his eyes and accent his eyebrows. Because he takes such good care of his skin, Sayogoromo’s sunken eyes do not look as bad as they could. His high cheekbones are close up under those brown eyes and are made more proud by the hollow cheeks below. Thanks to his weight issues, his cheeks are rather shallow and add to his deathly appearance. A pair of supple, bow-shaped lips contradict his other features and the lovely smile they create, illuminates and somewhat revitalizes his countenance. Sayogoromo has perfect teeth and a pair of average ears hidden by his hair, unless he’s wearing earrings.
Sayogoromo’s fashion taste runs away from the current norms of society. His daily attire consists of both susohiki and komon style kimonos, the style depending on his mood and planned daily activities. More often than not, Sayogoromo’s outfits are either brightly colored or simply warm. Very rarely does he wear dark colors. The only time that he strays from this preferred way of dressing, is when he has to engage combat.
True form: Sayogoromo’s true from is not as terrifying as most demons’. Upon transforming, his skin is burned away until all that remains is a skeleton with long hair.
Personality:
Sayogoromo’s parents didn’t play a role in his figuring out who he is as a person. When he was young, freedom made him somewhat of a wild child. But time and experience have made him much more mild. At his core, Sayogoromo is always looking out for himself. Life on the run trained him mentally until he was able to ignore the suffering of others and protect himself. He isn’t as proud as someone might assume he is upon first meeting him. But, Sayogoromo is shameless and easily shrugs off his mistakes as life has taught him there’s no time to dwell on such things. While he can be lively and exciting at times, Sayogoromo’s illness has made him reluctant to be so. He’s almost always relaxed or trying to do things that allow him to be.
Chatting with others is extremely easy for, Sayogoromo thanks to his experiences with humans from a young age. Whether it’s old friends or total strangers, he doesn’t shy away from conversation and puts his skills to use to ensure the topic is of interest to the other person. More often than not, Sayogoromo pushes the boundaries and tends to invade the personal space of others. He’s a good listener, thanks to years of practice, and he can easily fake most emotions. Forming bonds with others is something that he struggles with however as most people he would befriend, would be viewed as a potential client or a source of food. He’s still working to change that mindset though.
Bio:
The land of Brodova has always been, Sayogoromo’s home in the human world. He arrived there 198 years ago, after having followed an older and stronger demon who discovered an entrance to the world of mortals. Upon his arrival, Sayogoromo fell in love with the world human’s had built, but he loved the humans themselves even more. As the years went on, rumors spread off a demon within the forests; a child that lured people to their deaths. All that would remain were the skeletons of the creature’s victims. As he grew older, Sayogoromo grew wiser. He learned that male humans were more satisfying as they had a stronger life force than women more often than not. He harassed small communities along the outskirts of, Brodova for a while before he settled in, Jigram City. There he set up a small business where he conducted work similar to that of a geisha and even had patrons within the, Inner City. 148 years allowed him to perfect his talents. Working the way he did also brought him a steady supply of humans for him to feed on. He gained some fame amongst art oriented humans who enjoyed his company, but the fame also attracted some demonic attention. Along with demons came humans who were either jealous or wary of his success. Several times humans had attempted to hunt him down and even other demons attempted to cause him harm. During one of his battles, he was heavily poisoned by another demon. The poison weakened him and due to its strength, no cure has been found. Despite his sufffering, others continued to seek him out. To avoid them, he started moving around. It was around this time that he learned of the, Cerberus Vale Estate.
With a bit of hesitation, he searched for the family. When he finally made contact he expressed his desire to join them, although he gave false reasons. However, he knew he’d have to abide by the family’s rules in order to remain under their protection. The past 50 years have been easy for, Sayogoromo and he has grown to love the family.
~
Powers:
Life Drain - Upon making skin contact with another living creature, Sayogoromo can drain their life force. The older and stronger a victim is, the more life force he drains from them. While he can control how much he takes from them, if he takes all their life force, a skeleton is all that will be left.
Hair - Sayogoromo can control his hair and manipulate it as if the strands were extra arms. He uses this power to ensnare his victims.
Weapons: Sayogoromo’s weapons of choice are tessen fans. The blades of the fan are riddled with rune carvings that make it useful against cutting into the skin enemy demons.

ISAAC FOWLER
"ft. Incana"

YY3lMkJ.jpg

Personality

To those he likes (few and far between), Isaac is pleasant- even friendly. However, small details about people will cause him to build a burning dislike. It could be the way the person laughs, or certain tones they ask a question. For this reason, he can be volatile- but those who’ve known him for lengths of time know to not take it to heart. On days when Incana is poisoning his mood, these swings are the worst.

On his good days, Isaac tends to be unmotivated. While his increased friendliness makes him easier to be around, chance are he’s going to spend the day lounging or being unproductive. All of his training and productiveness occurs when Incana is giving him a boost.

Isaac seeks being outdoors whenever possible. His room is filled to the brim with plants, and he leaves his windows open- regardless of the weather outside. It’s not uncommon for him to put on nature soundtracks when he thinks nobody is around.

Physical Characteristics
Isaac is slightly above average height, but is proportionate due to regular exercise balancing out his uninspired eating habits. He's littered with tattoos, and can't remember getting any of them. The largest one is a tattoo of a wolf that looks suspiciously like Incana- a back piece that likely took months to complete. Isaac favors practical, well made clothing over anything flashy.

9h5r1lf.jpg

History

Isaac intended to live a pure life. Things didn’t go as planned.

From a young age, Isaac was taught the importance of history. Despite residing in Jigram city for their entire lives, Isaac’s family subsisted as if they walked the halls of the Inner City. As educators, they took pride in their tiny estate and taught small groups in the details of the continent's history. As traders, his parents came into contact with an endless sea of faces, which sparked their interest in Bordova’s vibrant history, and eventually filled their pockets with enough money to begin their institution. Isaac and his twin, Isabella, were given free reign of the halls- although Isabella was often the only of the two that took advantage of this. Isaac felt more trapped by his family’s obsession with the past, and prefered to look forward, even as a child. Instead, he opted to play in the nearby forest, preferring the knowledge he gained from romping in the leaves and crafting pretend weapons.

Because his family noticed his restlessness, they allowed him to attend a nearby, and more public school. After the initial curve of learning to fit in, Isaac’s life began to feel normal, and he fell in love with Jigram’s colorful streets.

Unbeknownst to him, his life was about to be pushed off kilter. A boy, around his own age, joined his class. From the way he dressed and talked, Isaac could tell he wasn’t from his city. Curious, and egged on by the claustrophobic feeling of not knowing what laid beyond his own bubble, Isaac sought the new kid as a friend. Unaware that this was what his parents were protecting him from, twelve year old Isaac spent increasing time with his new friend. He shared everything- his hopes, dreams, and aspirations. Having a best friend was something he’d wanted, so for a time, he was happy.

This ended when his friend invited him into the woods. The same woods that he’d played in since he was old enough to play on his own. Lured into a false sense of comfort, he failed to inform his family before wandering into the dusk. Once the two were deep in the woods, the other boy began acting oddly. Twitching, he muttered incoherent sentences, bent into the soil. When Isaac tried to console him, he leapt at Isaac, foaming and rabid.

Five years later, Isaac awoke under a citrus tree, grimy and aching all over. His body felt too large, awkward and clumsy. After the initial bought of panic, he was able to assess his situation. The first thing he knew was that he was missing a considerable chunk of time. With the help of a elderly woman running the orchard, he was able to understand that he’d been possessed, and was now several years older. Overwhelmed with grief, he spent a few weeks in depression- mourning the childhood and family he’d lost. Asking around the quaint city, he heard of Cerberus Vale and made the journey there. Purposefully avoiding interaction with people, in case he’d committed crimes under his possesed state, Isaac eventually made it to the estate.

Since then, he’s been putting his energy into building a reputation at the estate. Because he lost the identity he used to carry, he feels he has to work twice as hard to carve out a name for himself. Because the new kid in his class (when he lived in Jigram) caused his loss, Isaac is often rude to newcomers and dislikes anyone who might offset the balance he’s found.

When it came to Isaac's weapon, the one that suited him the best was the one he already had. Isaac was given an iron collar infused with a charm that helps him rein in Incana. Without the need for a leash, Isaac wears a slender bracelet that mirrors the collar and initiates the connection.

Powers

Basics:
Incana has the basic physical strength you might expect from a several hundred year old creature. This can be used in combat. The extent control Isaac has over Incana can be touch and go.

Vicious Gnaw:
Incana's bite will leave the afflicted feeling nauseous and lightheaded as it enters the bloodstream. This can also cause hallucinations and waking nightmares if enough is administered. The effectiveness depends on how much of Incana's saliva is absorbed, and how weak the victim previously was. Isaac theorizes that Incana has a level of control over what the victim experiences. This wears off within a few hours, at the most.

Projection:
Ver. 1
Incana gets the reigns as soon as Isaac falls asleep- the beast roams the area while Isaac's physical body stays put. Isaac is able to see and remember what Incana sees. If Incana is killed in this state, they both die.
Ver. 2
Similarly, Incana can also enter Isaac's consciousness while he sleeps (instead of exploring outwards). Incana can either give him a pleasant dreamscape or torture him with a nightmare. This keeps Isaac appealing to his good side.

True Form: Yama's true form is a beautiful ethereal figure that appears as the most dazzling creature another person could imagine, changing based on the person, though if not viewed directly on the figure turns in a horrifying monstrosity until looked up fully.
Personality: Yama is generally a very quiet and reserved girl who tends to avoid the spotlight, enjoying to be left alone or hiding in a dark corner with a book. Most people tend to find her to be rude or cold due to her distant attitude and cold outward demeanor.
Bio: As a baby, Yama was swapped with a human child to be raised by the humans in place of their own child, though as she aged she could tell something was different about her. Her childhood was simple, her parents loving individuals who protected their child above all things. As Yama aged she began to hear the call of her true mother, beckoning her back to where she belonged, though Yama resisted the call, having fallen in love with the humans she had only known as her parents. As she grew older the call grew stronger and more forceful making it harder for her to ignore though she endured and tried to soldier on in this normal human life she had come to love. On her 18th birthday, the biggest surprise that came was her true mother came to collect her and bring her home, Yama refused and paid the ultimate price for it, her mother slaughtered her family hoping this would break the tie Yama had to the human world. All this succeeded in doing was breaking Yama's heart and making her fight harder to resist the call, she escaped her mother that night and ran as far as she could, hiding out in many different places over year. Though the more she hid the angrier she got, growing to resent who she was and the creature she came from. This lit a fire under her, causing her to move to Bordova and seek out Cerberus Vale joining the group of hunters in order to save someone from the pain she suffered from.
Powers: (1) Yama has the ability to charm creatures of a lesser ability level than herself for a short while, causing a sense of euphoria in the creature and distracting them from their surroundings as long as she and the creature maintain eye contact. (2) Yama can alter the reality of a creature in front of her, causing them to see what she projects into their mind. (3) Yama can influence the mind, attitude, and opinion of creatures around her, causing them to feel the way she wants them to.

"First off, I'd like to mention that I really... really hate Portals... but yeah, I'll take your survey." a figure said as he sat within the shadows of the dark room, with the desk in-between himself and the butler.

_____

Name: "The name's Jason Walker. I'm from... another world, so to speak. Brought here by The Fog, which is basically a Living Portal that takes me across worlds... seemingly to "Help Them", as it keeps tellin' me."

Age: "I know, I look like I'm maybe somewhere between 25 and 35, but... truth is, I've been goin' through these portals, and lost track of the time... sometimes I was stuck in a world for years... other times, entire decades... so honestly, I'm about a few lifetimes ahead of myself."

Gender: "Pretty sure I'm a Male, last time I checked."

Race: "Human, but I can also be a Ghost, if it helps... guess that kinda makes me 'Paranormal', doesn't it?"
~
Appearance: He would lean closer into the light, allowing a better view of himself.
JasonWalker.png

"Got my Hiking Pack with me, too. It's loaded up with all the supplies I need for field work."

True form: ... "Just color me blue, and make me transparent, then you've got my Spirit Form, of that's anything to go by."

Personality: "Hmm... well, for one thing I don't beat around the bush. I'm a bit serious whenever on the job, but whenever I'm chattin' with people, I can be a little more laid-back, friendly at times, and downright honest... but lemme know if someone causes trouble, and I'll find a way to break 'em up."

Bio: "Jeez, where to begin... well, I guess the best part to start at would be the beginning. I was only six when I was taught how to use a basic gun, and ten whenever I learned how to craft my own ammo and weapons.

"By the time I turned twelve, my dad brought me into the Slayer's Guild... a group from my world that specialized in hunting down Paranormal Threats and protecting the peace, while keeping the Paranormal World separate from the Public Eyes.

"On my sixteenth birthday, my dad was sent out to hunt an Eldritch Horror... unfortunately, though, he ended up dying there, and his journal was passed on to me. Ever since, I've taken the lead in my own journey, and found myself climbin' the ranks up to Elite... the highest possible rank directly below the Guildmaster, who helped train me in the things my dad couldn't.

"So anyways, I was sent on a mission to investigate 'The Fog', which is basically a Living Portal that sends people across space and time... and unfortunately, I was the next on its list. I've been to quite a few worlds, now... and this one just happened to be the next one I was summoned into.

"Now, before we go into more details, I should probably mention that, in order to become an Elite, one's powers would get enhanced... but at the price, a Curse would be inflicted on the member... and I was unfortunate enough to get one of the biggest Curses of 'em all... 'Nox Eternus', as they call it in my world. It's basically the reason why I was able to survive all these years between worlds... long story short, I can't age, and I can't stay dead... every time I die, I'm just brought back without a clue how I got there... and I still feel the pain from it, even when my body's whole once again... y'know what, lemme just write those down in this form here."

~

Powers:
1. Astral Projection

Jason is capable of ejecting his spirit from his body at will. While in Spirit Form, his body is left vulnerable to Physical Attacks, but his Spirit can interact with the Physical World, and isn't bound by "Physical Limitations". (His spirit is a lot stronger than his body.)
He can only Astral Project when tired, and the longer he is in Spirit Form, the more energized his body becomes... almost like he's in a sleep-like state. Furthermore, the more energy his Physical body has, the weaker his spirit becomes.

"I can sleep with two eyes open."

2. Nox Eternus
A Blessing and a Curse all-in-one, unique to Jason from his world. As a bearer of the Nox Eternus, his body is no longer able to age, and should he die, his body and equipment would be 'Teleported' back to an unmarked grave in whichever world he died in, or at a random point within it. However, he would suffer amnesia upon waking up, forcing him to forget the past few hours prior to his death. He would also still bear the pain that he suffered from prior to his death, despite his body being "healed", which oftentimes leads to him losing consciousness immediately after "Awakening" from a fatal blow.
This curse essentially binds his soul and body to the "Realm of the Living", though his soul can cross into the "Spirit Planes" of the worlds. However, he can not cross into another "Realm of Existence" in spirit without his body, and should he do so, his spirit would be "Recalled" back into his body. This, too, makes his body immune to possession and other curses, though normal physical afflictions are still a risk.

"I ain't immortal. I can still die, and it still hurts like hell. Thing is, though, I can't stay dead... which can be good, and bad."

3. Inhuman Reflexes
Time within the Spirit Planes work differently from the Living Realms. What would normally take a split-second could take several hours or more to arrive. Using this, he is able to use his "Spirit Form" to dodge and/or parry attacks that move faster than light, though only briefly. Furthermore, relying on the Spirit Plane's "Time Functions" energizes his body quickly, meaning he can only dodge such attacks a few times before having to wear himself out again.
Although he can dodge a light-speed attack, he can only do so a few times before having to balance out Offensive and Defensive maneuvers to wear himself out again... high risk, but high reward. It's one less death he has to worry about, if he plays his cards right.

"I know when someone's snooping around... it's why we have two eyes and ears, but only one mouth."

Weapons:

Silver-Tipped Pipe Wrench
Jason's most familiar, and well-balanced weapon. Having used it for countless occasions while facing Vampires and Werewolves, he also uses it to repair his Silver Truck. He replaced the tip with Silver for convenience, should he ever be attacked by them while he's repairing his truck.
(Whenever he graduates, rather than gaining a new weapon, his pipe would be embroidered with a magic gem slot that grants it Elemental Powers that reflect on the gem he has stored inside it. It can be changed at will, as the gems wear off over time!)

"This baby's been through it all... Vampires, Werewolves, Demons, Eldritch Horrors... hell, I even clocked a dragon in the muzzle with it during my Portal Quest... can't recall what happened after that, so I'm guessing it only pissed it off."

Quad-Barrelled Shotgun
Jason's choice of mid-range weaponry. Though it has four barrels in it, he can pump it once to add an additional four shots, for a total of eight simultaneous shots. Its barrel is embroidered with Silver and Iron, while its base is made of Acadia Wood, which grants it Holy Powers against Demons, due to the nature of the wood. (Noah's Arc, Tabernacles, and the Arc of the Covenant were all made of Acadia Wood, blessing it as the go-to "Holy" choice for wood.)

"My Quad-Barrelled Shotgun is a gun of my own design... built it myself. I even made the ammo I use for it... and trust me, there's a lot of fancy bullets I can make for this thing to fire, from Sticky and Flammable, to Silver and Gold. Hell, even made a bullet that hurts Demons and Ghosts... who knew Salt could be so useful, right?"

Otherworldly Book
Better known as a "Slayer's Journal", Jason keeps this in his vest at all times. With a strange, unknown magic, it can not be destroyed, and even reflects attacks brought onto it, granting it an astonishing "Stagger" power... however, it can't be used as a Weapon, and is mostly meant for parrying and blocking.

"Originally meant for sending messages between Slayers and the Guildmaster. However, ever since I've been pulled into the portals, it hasn't really been able to send messages. However, doesn't mean it can't make for a handy shield when I can't really dodge somethin'... though it ain't very big, so it won't make me 'invincible'..."

~
With the sheets filled out, Jason leaned back against the desk, and folded his right leg over his left knee.

"So now, I've got a question for you, Mr. Jacques... do you think that I qualify for Cerberus Vale? I can't stay forever, but chances are, I'll be around a good bit." he asked with a smile.

Oh boy, I'm sorry but I will say that we aren't taking anymore characters for the roleplay! I do like the character, a well-thought out one I must say. I especially like the idea of the different portals/worlds. But I can say to you, if this roleplay succeeds in its storyline. The sequel to this roleplay your character can make it in! (I should have changed the title to not accepting anymore..That was my bad)

All good, dude! ^_^

However, I'm a bit curious. Does this RP work in "Sessions", where a group goes out on a mission, which has all the nitty-gritty combat, followed by a "Grace Period" for characters returning to the manor?

If so, then maybe it could be possible that he be "Referenced", or something, when the group returns? Y'know... like, a bit of an "Introduction" period for whenever the sequel is about to begin?

Like, Jacques could mention to Joseph that he "Sent a newcomer over to the 'Barracks' to train... someone who isn't even from around here, to be more precise"? That way, I don't show up as some "Random", should the sequel start, and will have my character better acquainted with the things he'd need to know. ^_^'

Yes that's something we precisely do, I let a roleplayer or two do a mission, giving them free reign of the main IC for 24 hours (Or more if needed, irl stuff gets in the way). Finish the mission, give a little period of time in-between before the next mission will start. So its very possible for that to happen for you! I'll keep you posted about how the story is coming along too. So that if we're almost finished I'll let you know when/whats up!

Sounds good! In the meantime, I'll keep an eye on the RP, itself, so that I, as a future player, can know the in-depth happenings... kinda like "Reading a book", or something... might even give me ideas on how my character could make his official "Appearance" when his training is done... though I should probably mention that he's an "Elite" from his world, and had training from a bunch of other worlds... odds are, his training and knowledge might seem a bit "Anomaly Level", or "Unexpectedly Top-Class for a 'Rookie'", since he's... y'know... already familiarized with training of the Paranormal Variety... that is, if that's okay! :closed eyes open smile:

By the sequel, I believe everyone will have just as much experience so it'll be okay! (Unless pairings happen, and teens come into play)

Of course, of course. ^_^'

... I can see it now.

Joseph steps into the Graduation Hall, finds Jason at a table, prepping up his weaponry, and then approaches him. Afterwards, the two shake hands, and begin a good ol' "Mass Effect" style Dialogue Sequence.

"Jason Walker, I presume?"

"Lord Joseph, sir."

"I hear you've been making a name for yourself up here. At first I read from your paperwork that you've handled a few Demons... among other things... before you got here. Now that I get a better look at you, I can see you weren't bluffing like most of the other jarheads that work for me. Especially the statistics. You're the top of your class, and that means something."

"Thanks, sir. For what it's worth, you seem alright for a Devil... and that says a lot, considering the kinds of things I've hunted in the past. And so, you've got my vote on the next election for 'Devil of the Century'."

"Heh... as long as your votes include shooting the competition, you'll be alright."

"Himalayan Rock Salt, sir... it's got its uses against Spirits."

"Or just a shot in the head works fine, as well."

"With all due respect, sir, why can't I do both?"

"Hmm... whoever said you couldn't?"

And so on, so forth... looking forward to the epic encounters to come! ^_^
