"Growf!"
A beautiful young woman is tortured and banished to the wilderness by her village. There she is rescued by a man who restores her body fully, leaving not even a trace of a scar. In fact ALL her scars will be gone. The obvious conclusion is that the man healed her. Is he a god or man?
The Village
Not inhabited by evil people - mostly. Just primitive and fearful of everything. They needed a sacrifice to the elemental spirits that they believe surround them, in hopes of better times. Harvests have been poor, animals scarce, weather harsh. The village is hounded by mercenaries from the region who demand tribute.
Why her?
Well, she spoke out against the tribal shaman who has been choosing sacrifices all the time that have accomplished nothing. She was beautiful and irreverent.
Characters
I plan to roleplay the man who rescued her. I am looking for someone to roleplay the woman.
Plot
This will start out largely determined by the woman. The story will begin after the man has discovered her unconscious form. He has healed her and simply waits for her to awaken. He will provide her with food and ask her what crimes she committed to bring her to such harm.
Where the story goes from there will depend on her lead. Will she try to get the man to return with her to her village? Will they remain in the wilderness? Will they travel to distant lands?
Setting
I am going to leave the world itself open to worldbuilding. Will the entire RP be in the village? What is the world beyond like? Is the world in a Classical era? Roman? Feudal? Or maybe distant post apocalyptic? You will need to decide on the world’s technological base. Your village could have people living in caves or mud huts, dressing in fir clothing, and using stone knives for all I care. Or they could have ancient artifacts like a badly damaged motherboard mounted on a “staff” for the shaman’s symbol of faith. (Imagine a rifle barrel mounted on a longer stick and called the Thunderstaff of Wisdom.)
