Settings/Locations for Cedar Ridge

The general setting for Cedar Ridge is the small fictional town located in Nevada. It has a relatively low population, and a general wolf infestation.

The town sits directly next to an 'Indian' reservation, the reservation's name is 'Twin Oaks', they ARE considered part of the town, your character CAN live here. That is no issue at all!

The rest of the town is generally divided into several different segments, there is six basic areas of Cedar Ridge, despite the smallness of the town. The following information is needed to complete the overall Character Sign up sheet, please read it carefully and choose wisely.

1) The High School District- The six block radius around the high school would be this area. This district is considered one of the cleanest, as they take some great pride in the entire school. This area is dominated by mostly Homid families, although Garou are known to move there due to the proximity of the school and overall cleanliness of the area surrounding it.

2) Lakeside District- The houses that encircle the lake, or rather sit an easy walk from the lake, are a gated community. This property is high cost, generally the upper class part of the town, assuming they aren't living in the Historic District, which rivals this one for most expensive, and nicest. The community is highly exclusive, and entirely Garou (Spare the Human spouses and children, they are permitted into the community, with the expressed rules that they are NOT to know about the nature of their fellow community members.)

3) Historical District- The Historical district is made up of houses built long ago, it's assumed many of these houses are passed down Garou to Garou, but over the years they've found themselves in Human hands, something that is a source of agitation for the Garou, although they never directly express such a thing.

4) Town Square- The town square (Clearly) cannot be lived in, but it's worth mentioning. The town hall building sits in the middle, large and imposing. Here there are meetings once a week, and, it's known the handles on the doors are silver, something extremely harmful to the Lupus garou, it's like an account of superstitious ancestors in the town. Lupus Garou do not attend these meetings.

5) Church District- The houses around the church are often times home to those closest to the actual church, or perhaps, the minor satanic cult that runs in the woodshed behind the church? The church district is the closest to the Forgotten district, the two of them are considered the poverty sections of the town, this being far better in terms of money and quality.

6) Forgotten District- In the beginning of the town they had considered the booming industry, and had almost given in, they had crafted a factory on the outskirts of town, a marble factory. However, the project was never finished, no actual company moved in, houses of varying quality cropped up, this would be considered the poverty section of town, there is some disdain about this district.
