Sorry I completely missed the OOC linked smh. OK so I imagine that astrian Tutan or Dargin aren't that common if they are a tad discriminated ? Or the monster attack are real bad ? Where are astrian common in the world then? I was thinking of mixing the survivor route with the slave one. Like my OC came from a place were astrian were common then ended up wash up on a coast to the North and made a slave. She later gained her freedom and roamed the North as a sort of mercenary until joining Sigrid for she wanted something else + make money.

Do astrian can have animalistic trait that can serve in combat ? Like claws or enhanced senses ? Agility, strength or swiftness depending on the animal ect

(Btw I love Hakan and feel strong "must protect vibe" for him, so if ya wanna I be super happy to add him in my backstory or something else if you want shadowz1995 )

The threat of monster attacks are fairly common, especially in inhabitable/unpopulated areas like Tuta, Karelia and the Outer Parallels. But it is a bit of both issues, since a lot of Astrians just find it hard to coexist with the Solarians there. Astrians are the minorities in Tuta.

Your OC could have fought alongside Sigrid when the latter was fighting in Jarl Sten's wars. It is possible for them to be well-acquainted before the events of the main story.

They may have a passive trait based on their animalistic development (i.e. a catgirl would have better sights than most peeps in the dark), but that would take up one slot of your abilities in the CS. So choose wisely!



Astrians are most common in Venelia, and southern Karelia, but can be found almost everywhere in the world, next to Solarians. I will have a map up on the lore page soon.

Karelia is basically Russia/Finland, like its irl counterpart. Venelia is Europe in general. Since your char is from those parts, I'd say Russian or Finnish names for Karelia, and anything European for Venelia.

That depends on your char's history. Were they a noble prior to slavery? In Venelia, the feudalistic system basically gatekeep people from learning magic unless they can pay for it.

South Karelia is a mix of pagan and high magic. So they will have some sort of sacrificial rituals or mainstream incantations. Venelia is all about incantations and substance. Substance is basically brewing potions before hand and jugging it down before battle. These will be discovered later when our chars get there, so if you have a specific location in mind, do let me know. I dun wanna spoil too much, since culture shock is a big focus in this RP. So DM me if you wanna learn more about certain areas and their magic practices.

That sounds good with me! Perhaps it was Sigrid that suggested the idea of giving her the rite of passage to become a free woman.
