Back in the states
Thorn is the last Nephilim on earth. With most downworlders dead and the remaining hiding or willing to kill any shadowhunter they see, Thorn had one alternative to turn to for help, Mundane humans. With the Mortal instruments destroyed, he would have to train them as they were, but he didn't lose hope. He would visit an orphanage in glamour and look for children who had sight, those he would target to be adopted. Recently he and the family got in over there head on a mission and almost no one survived, most of the battle-ready Hunters were killed and only three survived, they would have to be much more careful in the future, but first, they had to train.
