biography Avelines mother died in childbirth so her father had no choice but to raise her on the road. She grew up traveling with her father all around, gathering books and ingredients for what ever he was commissioned to create. She learned alchemy from him, and despite seeing the fear or hatred villagers held for their occupation she couldn't imagine herself in any other field. Her father feared what would happen for her if she was discovered using alchemy, he thought she'd be burned as a witch. So she grew up always wearing a cloak, keeping to herself, and learned how to fight from some of her fathers friends. Her died after falling off a cliff during a snowstorm, and only discovered him days later after the storm had calmed down but she had known for days something had happened to him. She clings to the hope of bringing back her father with the philosopher stone she's read about but has never seen. Her search brought her to Gresit hoping the speakers there knew any stories about the stone, but they were too worried about their missing speakers to be of any help. She tagged along with Trevor to find the speakers and hopefully get what she came from, and since then she's been a part of the team. She hopes that defeating Dracula will allow her to search his library and that one day she'll find the stone.

Zahra Belnades

Zahra Belnades, is the younger sister of Sypha Belnades. Though she too practices magic she is more inclined to the use of daggers or a bow. She is a skilled huntress, and a good thief but does not use her abilities for evil deeds. Zahra cares more about helping others than studying, and enjoys learning how to heal injuries more than history. Unlike her sister Zahra is less serious about their situation, and likes to β€˜go with the flow of things’. She is more outgoing and laid-back, and they often fight because of this. Sypha is still close to her however, and cares about her deeply. They can be seen sharing a laugh as they share a similar sense of humor. They are sisters and they love each other.

Her sense of humor is like Sypha's, she often likes to tease and be as blunt as possible.
biography
Zahra was born a year after her sister Sypha, and traveled with the speakers for as long as she could remember. She developed an interest in magic when her sister began to study it, and wanted to learn it as well until she realized she was not as skilled as her sister. Truly her talent lied in healing, she was self taught for the most part, and learned different things about herbs and medicines from traveling. She was the main nurse for their group of speakers. When Sypha went down to investigate the sleeping soldier she had to stay behind, but she followed Trevor into the catacombs when he went to search for her. She insisted she go with them to stop Dracula, mainly to keep an eye on Sypha. Though her grandfather did not want her to go, there was no stopping her.

Trevor Belmont
The sun was setting behind the castle that stood foreboding over the land. The Belmont house sat right in its shadow, Trevor found that to be rather ironic. He was packing a few things into the wagon, blankets and supplies mainly, it would be a long trip to the next town. Sypha and Zahra were talking to Alucard of course, while he did all the work. Rolling his eyes he let out a sigh and heaved another box into the back of the wagon. It felt as though he had a massive weight off of his shoulders, with Dracula gone, the war was over. He hardly wondered how anyone else felt about the whole situation, all he wanted in that moment was a drink. Unfortunately he would have to wait until they managed to make it to the next village with a pub. He thought of the last time he had a drink, the night he got into a bar fight with three men, and remembered none of it. Thinking back he still felt a pain in his balls. He cringed internally as he closed up the wagon, his last drink was before all this mess, but he would not have it any other way. Though he would never say it aloud this journey gave him purpose, he made friends, and may have found a lover. He looked around, realizing Aveline was nowhere in sight "Hey! Uh- Anyone seen Aveline?" he called to Sypha, Zahra, and Alucard.

Zahra Belnades
Zahra hated to see Sypha go, they had never really been apart for long periods of time, and after she was gone Zahra was unsure if she would ever truly see her again. She assured herself that she would, indeed, see her sister again, eventually. However the idea of being apart and not knowing her well-being was nerve wracking. She tried to find ways to prolong her leaving, but Sypha saw right through her, and she knew she had to let her go. She held her hand "When you see grandfather again tell him I'm in a lot less danger than you." she said with a faint grin "But maybe do not mention the vampire right away." she added with a whisper and a wink.

Sypha pulled her hand away, and looked to Alucard "Do not let her get into too much trouble." she said waving her finger.

"Do not let Trevor get you into too much trouble." Said Zahra with a giggle "Well, maybe just enough. Please do not die though." she said with a nervous laugh. They all turned to see Trevor searching for Aveline, Sypha merely shook her head "I think that means it is time for you to go." Zahra said with a frown. Sypha placed a hand on her shoulder, and then pulled her into a tight hug "Go on, you know I do not cry." she said with a faint sniffle as she wiped her eye.

Alucard
" I think we both know that no one can keep Zahra out of trouble." Alucard told Sypha with a soft chuckle.

The reality of everything was starting to set in. The battle was over and everyone had to look to what was next. He hadn't expect this to be his fate, looking over his family home and the Belmont hold for the foreseeable future, but this fate didn't upset him. His original plans had just been to sleep until he was needed by the world again, or maybe to sleep forever, but when he made those plans he didn't expect to make friends with anyone. Now though he watched Trevor try to load a wagon, he watched Sypha and Zahras goodbyes, and could hear Aveline making her way out of the castle(No doubt she was having fun with the fact he allowed her a look through the library before she left).

But he knew he would be seeing them again, and that seemed to be the thing keeping him awake and put together through these goodbyes. He could feel it in the back of his mind though, the building pressure to accept the reality of what had happened. He had lost his mother and his father, and now resigned himself to a life in his home with only good memories.

" You and Aveline have my regards, I don't not envy you're job of babysitting Trevor." He teased, then laughed at the look Trevor gave him. Even these little moments with Trevor he would miss.

His keen ears picked up the sound of crunching dirt, and he turned to see Aveline hurrying towards the group, a few books tucked under her arm.

Aveline Varor
" I'm sorry I took so long! I was worried you'd leave without me." Aveline chuckled. " I just had to grab a few books for the road." she turned to Alucard, showing him the books she grabbed so he could keep track of where everything went. He was staying here to protect this knowledge after all, losing something before the castle was left in his charge for even a full day would be a horrible way to start things out.

" I promise i'll return them Alucard. I'm sure we'll end up back this way again soon enough. Oh and if I find anything I think you or Zahra would like i'll make sure to grab it and bring it next time we see each other." She promised before stepping forward and hugging Zahra goodbye.

She'd miss Alucard and Zahra and wished they weren't leave the two behind, the idea of leaving Alucard here by himself wasn't something any of them liked but at least with Zahra here with him they all felt a bit better. She'd keep him company, and maybe the next time they saw the two they would be willing to join them for a journey somewhere.

" Keep each other happy and healthy until we meet again." She said, hugging Alucard as well despite the way he tensed up before slowly returned the hug with his own awkward attempt. " Teach him how to hug properly while we're gone, Zahra." She laughed to try and tease the tension, leaving people behind was harder than she had expected. It had been a long time since she cared this much about people, and the first time she ever left someone behind.

Sypha seemed to understand that she was having problems leaving too, so with a gentle hand on her shoulder Sypha led Aveline over to the now loaded cart.

Trevor Belmont
When he finally saw Aveline emerge from the castle he watched as she said her goodbyes. He was never one for goodbyes, he was more of a 'good riddance' kind of guy. He stayed by the cart with his arms crossed, and watched as they finished their goodbyes. He looked down at Aveline's stack of books "What are all those for?" he questioned curiously. Trevor was not a scholar type, but that did not mean he did not enjoy learning. He adored it when Aveline read him her books, the way her eyes lit up when she spoke about all her passions was a beautiful sight to see. He helped her load them into the cart "Let's hope you don't lose them, or else Librarian Alucard might hunt you down and eat you." he said sarcastically with a smirk, hoping the vampire heard. Once everthing was settled in the cart, (even though it took quite a bit of pushing and shoving), they all climbed in, Trevor holding the reigns. Alucard and Zahra stood beside them, Zahra petting the horse's and whispering something to Sypha while flicking her eyes back and forth between him and Aveline. He gave Alucard a slight wave, but the vampire responded with his middle finger "Fuck you." said Trevor as he urged the horse's forward.

Zahra Belnades
Zahra would miss her sister, and Aveline, both of them were such good companions, but she would enjoy staying at the castle too, it was an entirely new adventure she gave Aveline a hug "I'll teach him some manners, don't worry." she said with a giggle. They stood by the wagon, and beckoned her sister either as she pet the horse's neck "Keep an eye on Trevor and Aveline, I think they are trying to court each other, well Trevor is anyway." she said in a whisper as she glanced back and forth between Trevor and Aveline. Sypha snickered to herself "Go on now." Said Zahra "You know how terribly afraid of the dark Sypha is." said Zahra with a grin.

Sypha turned back and scoffed "I am not." she said as she climbed into the wagon, just in time too as Trevor started moving as soon as she did. She waved to them as they faded from view, and watched until they faded into the treeline. She turned to Alucard "I guess this is it then?" she questioned.

Alucard
Alucard scoffed slightly at the idea that he needed to be taught any manners, but that was just how this group was. They teased each other and looked out for one another, it was different than the bonds he had made in the past but he didn't dislike them. No he suppose knowing that their group had become close to one another despite the short time they had spent together really showed how easily they got along. Maybe in another time or another universe they would of all been friends who just liked to hang out and jest, but this was the world they had been born into.

" If anyone needs to worry about me eating them it should be you, Belmont. Zahra and I are entrusting Sypha and Aveline to you." He called out as he watched them board the wagon.

He offered Sypha a helping hand up into the wagon seat while Trevor lifted Aveline into the cart, then stood back to watch them leave. Trevor gave him a parting nod, it was an acknowledgment that they were friends and not enemies like their bloodlines would suggest, and being the little shit he was Alucard flipped him off. Trevors pissed off look got a last chuckle out of Alucard as they watched the wagon roll away and shrink in the distance.

He and Zahra were quiet for a moment, but he nodded hearing her question. " Yes, this is it then. It's not how I imagined life to be after defeating my father, but still being alive isn't such a bad thing." he said before turning on his heel to head into the castle, but he paused for a moment and glanced over his shoulder to make sure Zahra was coming.

Aveline
" Oh these? Just some books on alchemy that I noticed." Aveline was quick to assure Trevor as she tucked the books into her satchel. She had only glanced through the books in boredom back in the castle but they seemed like hopeful leads in her quest, but she needed the time to really sit down and examine them before she could find out if they were what she had been looking for all these years. And even if they did end up to be the leads she was hoping for she was nervous to tell Trevor and the others about it. The Philosophers stone was something many people had sought, and it had brought many people to their early graves. But as she tightened the latches on her bag she knew she couldn't give up just because of the risks.

" Are you saying that if I did lose them you'd just let Alucard have his way with me?" She asked Trevor with an arched eyebrow. She looked serious for a moment, enjoying the way that Trevor sputtered, then laughed and waved him off. " I'm joking. I know Alucard wouldn't hurt me." she said as she walked towards the wagon. " and I know you'd help me if I needed it. Like right now. Help me into the wagon please?" She blinked her eyes innocently at him until Trevor gave her the push up into the wagon she needed, and she smiled sweetly down at him from her place in the back of the wagon.

" Hurry up and get on you two, goodbyes make me teary eyed." she called out then crawled deeper into the back of the wagon. She spent her time waving goodbye at Alucard and Zahra until they were out of sights, then she climbed up onto the bench seat with Trevor and Sypha where the sunlight would help her read the books Alucard had loaned her.

Trevor Belmont
The wagon ride was silent at first, he could hear only the sounds of leaves crunching beneath the wheels, and the horse's hooves trotting along the dirt path. It was a rough ride until they made it to a main road. The sun had set quickly, and darkness soon took over "So, plan is to find the speakers, right?" he questioned Sypha. Trevor himself had no plans, he could care less about Braila, and truthfully he was dying for a drink. However, he craved the adventure, and though he would never admit it, he liked fighting for the innocent people who got caught up in this mess.

"Yes, I would like to find my people again before heading to Braila." said Sypha.

Trevor looked to Aveline, "What about you? Have any plans?" he questioned curiously. With Dracula dead, and the war over, he wondered if she would go off to find the Philosopher's Stone, and abandon their little trio. The idea of her leaving made him anxious, even though he knew it was not likely. He worried if she left he would never see her again.

Zahra Belnades
"I do believe being alive is a good thing." said Zahra with a smile. She followed him back inside the castle, admiring how the sky was painted with orange and red hues. Once inside the castle she got a good view of how disastrous it truly was, blood stains, scorch marks, and it all smelled like the ocean. She stopped once inside the main hall she never had the chance before to admire it for what it truly was. The architecture was beautiful, pillars towered above her, it was a lot to take in "Is it strange? Having this place to yourself now?" she questioned Alucard, running to catch up with him again. To her the place was a like something out of a fairy tale, but she wondered how Alucard would feel, back in his childhood home, with his mother and father both dead. Thinking about it that way made her feel bad for him, she placed a hand on his shoulder "Are you ok?" she asked curiously.

Alucard
Alucard looked at the entrance hall just taking in all the destruction and the mess that needed to be cleaned up. Blood stained the rugs and drapes, there was some piles of ash on the ground, and no small amount of broken furniture. But on the bright side The others had helped them remove any left over bodies before hand. " The castle never had many inhabitants in it to begin with, just me and my parents." he explained as he walked over to the banister and ran his hand along the smooth stone like he had seen his father do many times. If he closed his eyes he swore he could hear his fathers footsteps.

" But right now it's so quiet, more quiet than it ever was when it was just the three of us." And he was left wondering what it was like for his father who had spent so many years in this castle alone before his mother arrived. " If you weren't here I would be left to wonder if the silence would drive me mad." He joked as he headed up the stairs. He wasn't really sure where to go first, he and his father had wrecked a lot of rooms during their fight and while those needed cleaning up he didn't know if he was strong enough to go back to his childhood room. His hand tightened around the stone banister at the thought of going back to where he had killed his father. No, he didn't think we was ready for that. He might never be ready for that.

Aveline
" I'm not giving up my search for the stone." Aveline said as she looked down at her hands, but after a moment she looked up and smiled at Trevor. " But I already put it on hold to help stop Dracula, I can put in on hold for a little bit longer to help you guys find the speakers." She assured them. " Everything is still so dangerous, you know? Those monsters Dracula released are still out there so i'm sure if we split up you'd run into some, and where would you guys be without me?" She joked, and Sypha snorted.

" Oh yes where would we be without you Aveline?" Sypha teased.

" Probably dead or really lonely, which I think is worse." Aveline joked.

" Are you certain you want to go after the stone though? I've heard so many stories about it, and they never end well, Aveline." Sypha said, worried about her. She had given Aveline the same lecture when they had first met and Aveline had told the team what she had been looking for before they came together to fight Dracula. " The stone is everything to me, Sypha." she said softly. " But you two are my friends, and i'm not going to just leave you now that everything is over. I'll probably make sure you two find the speakers and then go off on my own, or you could join me. I don't mind waiting until we join the speakers to begin my search again."

Trevor Belmont
He listened intently to Sypha and Aveline's conversation, he admired her loyalty, but did not want her to force herself to stay with the group. Trevor felt as though he was being pulled in two different directions. Either he would stay with Sypha, and her people, and then travel to Braila, or he could go with Aveline, and help her on her question. Of course she could take care of herself, but he did not like the idea of her going off alone in search for a stone that might not even be real. There are all sorts of beasts that lurk in the shadows, and if anyone knew about monsters it was Trevor fucking Belmont. He leaned back "Have you found any leads?" he asked, wondering if anything in all those books had become useful. She had told him her tale before, about her father's death. He could relate, he knew what it was like to not have a family. However, she was much closer to her father than Trevor ever was to his family, and thus supported her quest.

Zahra Belnades
She followed him up the stairs, and smiled at his jest, she ran her fingers along the banister, trying to imagine young Alucard playing. That would be a sight to see. She grinned to herself as she took her place by his side she frowned, trying to gather the courage to ask him where the library would be, truth be told that was what she was looking forward to most of all, she just knew there was so much to learn in this place, but she did not want to push him, she wondered if the reality of it all had even sunk in yet. She noticed his grip tighten on the banister "I understand if you want to be alone..." she said sympathetically. Alucard may be the son of Dracula, but he was still just a man, a man who killed his father. She looked into his eyes, trying to guess what was going on inside his head, what kind of thoughts plagued him. His sadness was deep, Zahra felt as though she was falling into it.

Alucard
" You don't need to worry about me, Zahra." Alucard said as he snapped out of his thoughts, he had forgotten she was there for a moment. Knowing she was here in the castle with him would keep him on his toes and hopefully out of his head, but he knew some things couldn't be ignored. He could already feel himself slipping. " If I had wanted to be alone then I would of insisted you leave with you're sister and a couple of books in you're bag like Aveline." he gave her a tired smile then continued back up the stairs.

" I imagine you want to see the library, of which there are many. Father had so many books and mother only added to the collection, but if you wish to learn more about medicine and healing I know just the library." He stood at the top of the stairs and motioned to his side, allowing Zahra to lead them down a hallway. " Father moved the medical books closer to the entrance so mother wouldn't need to disappear into the bowels of the castle." He explained, leading her through a large hallway to even larger double doors." This of course is just the tip of things, but this was mothers set up. I apologize if anything is ruined, i'm sure it needs cleaning up like everything else in the castle." he said, before pushing open the large doors and stepping back to let Zahra take it all on.

Aveline
Looking over at Trevor Aveline felt like she had someone on her side, like he was giving her something to still cling to. Sypha had never disapproved of her search of the stone she was just worried about her safety, but there were many people who had called her search for the stone pointless or an insult to god. Creating a Philosophers stone was supposed to pure perfection and heavenly bliss so of course Alchemy was banned by the church. If her quest was discovered she could be excommunicated( which she didn't care about) or killed. But she wasn't looking to surpass god or something, she was looking for a way to bring back her father. The stone was said to be a physical form of the elixir of life, surely she could use some of that life to bring him back.

" Yes I do have a lead. Before I started traveling with you guys I was stuck with this clue about a town built on a face, it didn't make sense to me. But when I was looking through this book-" Aveline eagerly pulled one of the large tomes she had gotten from Alucard from her bag. " It made a reference to a town built over the remains of this destroyed clock town, and clocks have faces! I think this town is a good place to start my search again."

Sypha signed softly but didn't say anything. " Do you know where the town is?" she asked finally and Aveline shrugged a bit. " I have an old map I found in the library as well, it's hundreds of years old but it was made the same year this book was released. Somewhere on this map is the town."

" Then when we stop for the night i'll help you look for the town on the map, and if it's on our way we can stop there." Sypha decided with a nod of her head.

" You don't have to go out of you're way-"

" It's not going out of our way, Aveline." Sypha was quick to interject. " I just know i'd feel better about letting you go after the stone if we had some proof it was out there. Stopping in the town with you isn't an issue." but Aveline frowned. " What if we don't find any proof?" " You'd still be free to keep searching, we'd just be worrying about you. Like you said there are still creatures out there, you're just as likely to run into them as we are."

Trevor Belmont
Sypha was right, neither of them would stop Aveline's search for the stone, but they sure as hell would be worried sick. The clue was very interesting, and never in a million years would Trevor make the connection between clocks and faces. He smiled to himself, it was like a treasure hunt. He looked at Aveline out of the corner of his eye "I'd go with you." he said suddenly "If we don't find proof I mean, I would still go with you-" he tried to explain but rubbed the back of his neck nervously. He wondered if she would even want him to accompany her, he was just a smelly drunk that so happened to know how to use a whip and a short sword.

Sypha looked at him, her mouth agape, but she closed it quickly and let out a sigh "If you do go, Trevor should go with you." she said, knowing she would be safer with the hunter by her side.

"I doubt it will come to it but, will you join us, Sypha?" asked Trevor.

"Absolutely not, I have no interest in such things, I support you, Aveline, but-" she paused and frowned deeply "If we separate, I will go with my people to Braila, to help the survivors." she explained. Trevor thought it was a rather good plan, they could meet at Braila if they split up. Sypha would be safe with her people, and Aveline would be safe with him. However, he still carried an uneasy feeling about leaving Sypha. She was his friend too.

Zahra Belnades
"I do not have to worry about you, but I do worry about you Alucard, I care about you, you are my friend." she told him. Alucard's words assured her that he would be okay so long as she stayed around, she was glad he even still wanted her around. She immediately perked right up when he mentioned the library, could he read her mind? She hoped not... Her pace quickened as she wandered down the hall and found herself before two large double doors. The suspense was killing her, she pushed open the doors, ignoring their stubborn creaks and groans. The scent of books hit her like a wave, there were more books than she would ever imagine, shelves and stacks decorated the place, along with a few scattered papers. She felt like a child in a candy shoppe, she clapped her hands together "This is beautiful Alucard." she said as she tried to take it all in. So much to learn and discover, it was all so exciting, she could not help but hug him tightly.

Alucard
" Yes it has that effect on people." Alucard said with a chuckle. His mother had told him many stories about what it was like when she first came to the castle and everything was new to her. Zahra would probably struggle to contain herself when he showed one of the bathrooms with warm running water.

" Though it was in better shape last time I was here." He frowned seeing that the way the castle had wrestled against Syhas control had knocked some books onto the floor or even toppled tables. Nothing looked like it eating through the floor though a rug or two clearly needed to be cleaned or thrown out. Alucard made his way into the room, already picking up books up off the floor and checking them for damage. Most of these books were very old but even a new book shouldn't be causally tossed on the floor.

" Be careful there looks to be glass on the floor." Seeing his home like this was hard, he wished Zahra was seeing it when it was shining in all its glory years ago.

Aveline
Avelines head snapped over to Trevor her eyes wide and her mouth slightly agape, did she hear him correctly. " You would?" She asked him eagerly as she hugged the large book to her chest and scooted closer to him. She wasn't worried about handling monsters on or own or even traveling by herself, but hearing Trevor say he'd travel with her even if they didn't find any proof it sounded to her like he had faith in her, and it left her heart pounding.

" Sypha I don't want you traveling on you're own either though." Aveline tried to argue but Sypha shrugged easily. " I have magic to protect myself, and I've been on the road my whole life. I'll be able to handle myself on the trip to meet up with my people If it comes to that. I hope you do find proof Aveline. This search might not be anything i'm concerned with, but it's important to you and I think I speak for everyone when I say that makes it important to us too."

Sypha smiled at her and Aveline smiled back, thinking of Zahra and Alucard back at the castle how had both supposed her search as well. She had been read to walk this road on her own with or without support, but knowing there were people that had faith in her and who would help her search made her heart soar. She pulled Sypha into a tight hug. " Thank you Sypha." she said softly, then she eagerly turned to Trevor and pulled him into a hug as well.

" Thank you too Trevor." she pulled back from the hug a bit, a hand resting on his chest as she smiled up at him. " Truthfully I don't like traveling alone. It was always me and my dad before, I missed his company when he died. And after the time we spent together on the way to you're family hold I really got used to being around people again."

Trevor
He was glad to hear the excitement in her voice when he offered to join her. He nodded to Sypha, a silent way of telling her 'thank you for not making this difficult'. Trevor smiled down at Aveline, "Yeah, I mean I'll do anything if it gets me away from Sypha-" he said with a cheeky grin, and winced when the magician punched him on the shoulder. He massaged where she had hit him, and pouted pathetically even though he hardly felt a thing. In fact it probably her Sypha more than him.

"You will miss me." she said crossing her arms and tossing her head up like an offended noblewoman. He chuckled at her, and she rolled her eyes, but could not hide her smile. She smirked back at him "Sure you enjoy company, Aveline. But are you sure you want his company?"

He scoffed "Of course she wants my company... right Aveline?" he questioned to try and assure himself. He was sure she wanted his company, who did not want his company. A lot of people did not want his company, actually. Trevor turned back to the path ahead "It's still a ways to the next village, you two should try and sleep." he told them, glancing up at the moon that was nearly halfway in the sky.

Zahra
"We'll get this place back to it's former glory." she assured Alucard. The place was in disarray, and all the tasks they would have to fulfill would be rather overwhelming. However, Zahra was up to the task, and rather excited about the whole thing. She began to pick up a few books that had fallen from the shelves, and put them back in their respective homes, she trailed her fingers along the spines, dusting off the dirt and debris that covered their titles. It looked as though they had not been disturbed in quite a long time, it was likely Dracula never came in here after Lisa's death.

The thought of that made her sad, she glanced at Alucard across the room, still wondering how he was keeping it all together. She picked up a few scattered pages on the floor, sketches likely done by his mother. Most were of anatomy. There were a few candid ones of Dracula reading, but there was one of Alucard as a baby, she could not contain her snickering "Aww, look at your wittle fangs Alucard!" she said handing him the picture.

Alucard
" It will be no small task." Alucard commented. He knew very well just how many rooms there were in the castle, and going through to fix them all would take some time. It could very well feel endless or take years, but since fixing the castle was really all they had to do he suppose that it would at least keep them busy. But this was the room to start, his mothers favorite lab. It was so important to her and held so many memories, it was a room that deserved to be restored as quickly as possible.

So ALucard set about picking things up and setting upright over turned furniture, though he paused hearing Zahras snicker. Making his way over to her, he took the drawing of himself as a child from her hands. He look it over for a moment silently, enjoying the sight of something his mother had created, then snorted hearing what she said about his 'wittle fangs'. " I can assure you they weren't 'wittle'." Even as a child his fangs had been retractable so they were long once they were extended.

" I didn't realize she had sketched pictures of me, though it makes sense. I remember finding a few of myself when I was younger. Mother was very good at catching you off guard and sneaking sketches of you."

Aveline
Aveline laughed at Trevor and Syphas banter, the two always kept things lively. " I've never been so certain, Sypha." She assured her and Trevor both. It bad her a bit bad to say but if she had to pick anyone to travel with, Trevor would be her first choice. She had just gotten along with him so well and she felt like they worked well together. And she just knew if they parted she'd be worried about him. His life had been so hard and he hadn't deserved what had happened to him, and yet there was still a good man in there. She saw that good man in him in almost everything he did, and the small thoughtful things he did that showed he was observing. Plus he had traveled alone for so long, she didn't want him to go back to drinking and traveling place to place with no end in mind.

" Are you sure you want to take the night watch, Trevor?" She asked him, it was already getting cold and sitting up front with just his fur cloak on wouldn't be that warm. He certainly wouldn't be as warm as she and Sypha would be, cuddling in the back under some shared blankets. Aveline opened her satchel, digging around until she pulled out a stone with a rune on it.

" Is that one of you're bombs?" Sypha asked, scooting away from her slightly. "Of course not, I keep those someplace safer than just in my satchel. This is a warmth rune though. Here hold it." She grabbed one of Trevors hands and sat the stone in his hand, the stone warm like it had soaked up the warmth of a gentle fire. " It's not much, but it should help keep you warm, Trevor." She said as she curled Trevors hand around the stone.

Trevor
"Eh, I don't really sleep well unless I'm under a nice tree." said Trevor "I'll be alright." he assure Aveline with a wink. As she pulled out the rune he too scooted away as Sypha questioned if it was a bomb, he chuckled softly "Yeah, Sypha. Who would be dumb enough to carry a bomb in their satchel?" he asked sarcastically.

"The same person who is stupid enough to try and blockade a door with a single board of wood." Sypha responded with an annoyed expression as she climbed into the back of the wagon. Trevor cringed, she was right though.

He looked at the stone confused, and watched as she took his hand and wrapped his fingers around it. The warmth immediately soothed his numb fingers, he arched a brow "Did you make this?" he questioned curiously. He tossed it between his hands, it was not to warm or too cold, it was brilliant. The rune inscribed on it was so delicately drawn, he would not be surprised it if it was indeed Aveline who created it, as she was incredibly talented.

Zahra
She continued to giggle at the drawing, but she lost it when Alucard said 'wittle'. Her laughter echoed throughout the library and she leaned on Alucard for support. When she finally came back to her senses looked back at the drawing "It's amazing, your mother sounds incredible, I see where you got your artistic talent from." she said with a soft smile. Zahra would have loved to meet her, and she would have loved to meet Dracula too... before he went mad. It was such a tragedy, what happened to them. She let out a sigh, and turned to look at the messy library, imagining it in full working order, warm and happy.

Zahra yawned and let out a sigh "This looks like a task for the morning." she said kicking some of the glass across the floor. Honestly, she was itching to get a broom and start sweeping. Tomorrow this place would be clean, she promised. Looking back to Alucard she arched a brow "Where should I sleep?" she questioned curiously.

Alucard
Zahras laughing was infectious and while he didn't lose himself in laughter like she had, seeing the way something so simple made her laugh got a chuckle out of him as well. It helped ease a weight on his chest, like for a moment all that existed was them and the past and future didn't exist. All that existed was the present where they were laughing and enjoying something silly. Not having the weight of the world or the guilt of killing his father on his shoulders was nice, even if it only lasted for a few minutes.

Like always he was brought back to the present hearing his mother being talked about in the past tense. " Mother was much better than I was." He insisted. He could still see the places he needed to improve when it came to his art, but any artist felt that way. " She was so good at capturing what was real. She captured emotions in her pictures." he hummed as he sat the picture aside. " Maybe if we find more pictures that my mother drew we can frame them and hang them up." It was an off handed comment, but having a piece of his mother in the rooms would be nice. It would be something to remember her by that wasn't just the image of her burnt corpse in his head.

" Oh yes, you're room." Alucard said, realizing that he had yet to give Zahra a place to really call her home. " I hope you understand but i'm...trying to avoid the east wing where my family stayed. It's both a mess and- difficult to sort through." He said as he instead led Zahra out of the library and to the stairs that headed to the west wing. " The west wing has the guest suites, and I was planning to stay here, but there are more than enough rooms here for us both. We could both have our own floor if we wanted."

Aveline
Avelien snorted a bit at how Trevor and Sypha moved away from her like she'd blow up. She hadn't blown any of them up while they were traveling. Demons and creatures of the night? certainly. But never one of them. Though one time she had dropped an ice stone she had been working on and accidentally froze her foot in place, but Sypha had melted the ice and Zahra had assured her that she hadn't hurt herself so that was water under the bridge as far as she was concerned.

" Yes I did." She assured Trevor with a happy chirp. " I even had to make the rune myself. There are fire runes but they're too hot to hold, you'd use them to boil water or something like that. This is meant for cold nights, and it's not much but I thought warm hands would make things more bearable." His hands felt so cold compared to hers, and they would only get colder as the night went on.

" And you don't have to worry about it catching fire or anything. It will constantly stay warm, the only way to stop it would be to mess up the rune. Like if it was scratched or broken, so it'll keep you warm all night, promise." She smiled sweetly at them, then shyly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. " Anyway, i'm going to hit the hay. Wake me up if you're tired and make a break though." Standing up she rested a hand on Trevors shoulder then stepped into the back of the wagon with Sypha, who had already grabbed a blanket but gave her a coy look.

"S-Stop with that look." She whispered to her, hoping Trevor wouldn't hear. " I can't help it though. ' this should help keep you warm trevor'." Sypha teased her with a flutter of her eyelashes. " I'd give that to anyone who was cold." Aveline insisted. " I never got one, and you and Zahra always complain about my cold hands." " I just perfected the rune the other day." Aveline said, trying to distract Sypha as she got comfortable under the blanket with her.

Trevor
He tried to ignore the whispers in the back of the wagon, but there was a faint smile plastered to his features. Although he enjoyed the silence of the night, Trevor had gotten used to traveling with their little group that he had almost forgotten what it was like to travel alone. He clenched the stone in his hand, imagining what his life would be like if it were not for Sypha, Alucard, Aveline, and Zahra. Sypha took him aside before they traveled away, and told him she believed adventuring was good for him, that it was his purpose. Part of him wanted to believe her, but part of him still expected in a month or two he would be leaving a tavern, drunk, and with a bloody nose.

Another part of him too imagined a life with Aveline, traveling the countryside with her, saving her father, but then what? He had not thought that far ahead. Letting out a sigh he rolled the stone over his aching fingers, still painfully numb from the cold. It was the cold that kept him up all night, and the worries that plagued him. Sypha awoke just before dawn and forced him into the back to sleep. He joined Aveline beneath the blankets, trying his best not to stir her. The exhaustion that weighed him finally took over and he fell into a deep sleep.

Zahra
With a gentle smile she took back the sketches "I think framing them is a wonderful idea." she said, placing them back on a table, weighed under some books for safe keeping. She shook her head "You're a wonderful artist, but more practice never hurt. I'll be your model!" she said with a cheeky grin as she followed him out of the library. Hearing him talk about the east wing she frowned silently "I understand." she told him. She admired the main entry hall again before they wandered up the stairs "This place is massive, I know I'm going to get lost."

The image of being lost in this big scary castle, all alone, in the dark, as not something she wanted to imagine for long. She wondered if the rooms were even well kept, or if anyone had slept in them at any point in time. How did Dracula ever live here all by himself? She tried not to think of it, but being in his home now it was sort of hard to forget him. Turning to Alucard she blushed slightly "Can we have rooms near each other?" she questioned shyly.

Alucard
" Yes I imagine it will be a bit confusing for a while. You'll get the hang of it though, i'm certain." Alucard assured Zahra. But he had lived here his whole life so of course he was confidant she would figure the place out. Especially since he was hoping to just seal his families wing, and that would cut out a lot of the castle. As he led Zahra to the guest wing he felt the weight of his fathers wedding ring in his pocket. It was one of the few things he had of his family, specifically of his father left, and he wasn't sure if this ring belonged in his parents room or if it was something he should keep on his person. Hidden away in his things that he had already put in his guest room he still carried his mothers ring that he had found in her ashes, it felt right that the two were reunited but where to put them? That wasn't a question he ever expected to have to ask himself, and it landed in his stomach like a heavy weight.

" Of course." He assured Zahra hearing her request. She must be worried about being lost in the halls, and he set a mental note to give her a real tour tomorrow when it was light and the castle seemed less imposing. " I'll make sure to give you an official tour tomorrow. Battling through the halls with my father probably didn't help you at all." He said, a tired smile pulling on his lips slightly.

But regardless he led Zahra up the cold staircase and through a hall. After a couple of long hallways he stopped in front of a door. " This room can be yours if you're ok with it." He opened the door and flipped a switch in the room that turned on the lights. The room was put together well and wasn't dirty, but it was clear that it was a guest room. Nothing personal was in the room, just an impressive large bed a dresser and an end table. " It has an in suite bathroom, which I should probably show you how to use. Like the rest of the castle we have hot water traveling through pipes so you'll be able to bath when ever you like."

Aveline
Aveline woke up a few hours after the sun had risen, morning just beginning, to the face of Trevor sleeping beside her. She fought down her blush, simply telling herself that Sypha must of forced him into taking a break and under the covers was the best way to sleep on a cold night like last night. But still she took a moment to enjoy the relaxed look on his face, he didn't look like this often. Even while traveling he looked plagued by worries or sometimes his past. He frowned more often than not, even though she had been trying her hardest to make him smile.

Sliding her hand carefully through the covers she found his hand, and after making sure he hadn't woken up she grasped it and smiled at how warm it was. His strong rough hands showed his experience and the past adventures he had been on, and maybe to some they were too callous. But she enjoyed him like this for a moment, warm and worry free, before she got up carefully to avoid waking him up.

Slipping into the front seat she smiled at Sypha and suggested pulling over to make breakfast for the day. After all breakfast cooking was a wonderful thing to wake up to and after that hard fight with Dracula she would say they enjoyed something nice.

Trevor
Sypha took what few ingredients they had taken from the castle, when they did a final sweep to ensure no enemies were left alive, she found some fruit, vegetables, eggs, and even freshly cut ham, likely from the pigs they kept for blood. They never knew of the fact that Hector and Isaac were staying in the castle, but did not complain. Sypha created a small fire, and started cooking the eggs and ham in a skillet they had also brought along with them. This is what made Trevor wake up. He rolled over, and winced as he pulled the warmth rune out from under his back. He let out a sigh as he climbed out of the wagon "Were you gonna let me sleep through breakfast?" he asked Sypha who was lightly poking the ham with a stick.

"I was just about to wake you, could you fetch us some water?" Sypha asked, tilting her head and offering the best puppy-dog eyes she could. Trevor frowned back at her, it did not work on him, but he was thirsty, and wanted to splash some cold water on his face. Picking up the large wooden bottle he groaned "There is a creek under a bridge down that way!" she said pointing down the dirt path.

Trevor let out a sigh "Save me a big piece." he said as he pulled on his boots and groggily walked down the path. It was much prettier at dawn, the sky was a pale blue with pinkish clouds, the air was crisp and cool. Mornings like this were hell when you woke up with a hangover. However, awaking to the smell of breakfast was something he had not done in a very long time. The trees were beginning to grow their leaves back after winter, some were blossoming pink and purple. He climbed down the bank of the river (mainly slipped) and gathered up a bucket of water, splashing some of the cool water on his face, and through his hair to wake himself up.

He filled up the bottle and sealed it, then began to climb back up, when he felt something fall out of his pocket. He looked down to see the warmth rune tumbling down into the water "Shit." he mumbled in a panic to himself, as he too tumbled down the hill, and quickly plucked the stone out of the water. He rushed back to the camp and handed it to Aveline "I uh- I hope I didn't break it..." he said plopping the wet stone into her hand.

Zahra
She felt relief wash over her as he said they would have rooms near each other. He seemed so nonchalant about it as well, and the world did not implode! She shook off her silly worries, and followed Alucard down the hall. When he spoke of their battle with his father she felt her heart sink a little, but could not help a grin, Dracula was... Very strong to say the least. Her muscles still felt sore, but she mainly acted as medic for after the battle.

When they stopped in front of the door she peered inside, and watched as the torches that lit themselves illuminated the room. It was more than she ever had growing up, she appreciated the fireplace in front of the bed, that would keep her warm in the nights to come. Stepping inside she touched the posts of the bed, and ran her hand along the soft duvet "This is a guest room?" she pondered aloud, she realized that might have sounded rude "I mean- It's incredible, It looks like something you would find in a mansion." she explained.

"Hot water." she repeated "Hot water... for baths..." she said again, frowning to herself trying to comprehend. She wandered to the door that stood beside the fireplace, which opened up to the bathroom "A bath." she added, realizing she had rarely had a real bath, one in which she would actually submerge herself in water "Show me." she said turning to Alucard "Right now, I have got to try this!" she said as she struggled to find the switch for the light. Eventually she did, and it was so much prettier when it was all illuminated. The bath was porcelain, the floor was cold tile, everything was so polished she could see her reflection. It was wonderful.

Alucard
" Yes my fathers standards are certainly heightened compared to the rest of the world. But the castle itself is something out of time and carries many magics and developments that do not exist outside its walls." Alucard agreed. Though a thick duvet wasn't anything new it was certainly something most people could only wish for. His father had expensive tastes, but his mother had done her best to keep things from feeling overwhelming. It was why even though the Duvet was wonderfully made it wasn't as gody as something his father would of put out.

He followed Zahra over to the bathroom and chuckled softly at her eagerness to see and use the bath. " My mother was quite taken with bathes as well." He hummed. His father had told him of his mothers reactions to many things in the castle that he had just grown up with as normal. But regardless he showed Zahra what knobs to turn and told her what they did, and allowed her to test the water for herself as it came pouring out. " It also drains itself, just pull this stopper out and then all the dirty water will drain away. There should also be towels in the cabinet under the sink. Which also has hot and cold water, it operates like the tub."

" Even with winter on its way out I imagine this will come in handy. Ah, speaking of winter we'll have to update your wardrobe to make sure you're warm. We're on the top of a mountain now, the winter will probably cling around as long as possible. And the castle can get quite cold." All of them had traveled with so little, he doubted that Zahra had the heavy clothes she'd need for this region. There was a reason why Trevor traveled with a bearskin cloak, after all. But that was also something that could wait until tomorrow. Plus the castle didn't just have womens clothes laying around, all that was left was his mothers clothes. And he knew there was no reason to hang onto them, but he wasn't just going to throw out his parents old things. He couldn't part with them. But he was sure his mother would want her things to be used by people who needed them, so surely he could brave that wing of the house to grab a cloak or two for Zahra as something to hold her over.

Aveline
Sypha had shooed Aveline away from the fire since it had been Aveline who had dug out the things they needed to make breakfast, she had been the ham and knew that it would both be delicious but also was probably something they needed to cook sooner than later. So with Sypha content to make breakfast Aveline had slipped off into the woods hoping to find some fresh berries to go with breakfast, and she had been rewarded for her hard work. She used her cloak to hold onto the piles of blueberries she had found, but stopped on her way back to the camp when she stopped some beautiful stones.

They were palm sized and smooth, some swirling with color and others solid shining examples of shades of black and grey. She picked up a few of those and returned to the camp, where Sypha told her Trevor had woken up and went to get water. " I hope you're not sad to have missed him. Though I can't see how you would, you were staring at him this morning." She teased, and Aveline stumbled over herself, also dropping the berries. " I-Is what it is like having a big sister? I feel bad for Zahra!" she pouted, but Sypha just laughed and continued to cook breakfast.

Aveline dropped the berries into an empty bucket and sat on a fallen log as she began to sketch out rune patterns of the new stones, what would these stones become in her hands? But she looked up, seeing Trevor hurry over with a worried look on his face. She blinked at the wet stone he placed in her hand, quickly able to connect the dots. She closed her hands around the stone and blew into her hands, then a moment later revealed the now dry stone with a smile. " It's fine Trevor." She promised him and handed back the stone.

" You didn't even have that stone for a day and you thought you broke it." Sypha teased him.

Trevor
Sypha giggled to herself "You'd feel bad for me if you knew what it was like having a little sister." she said with a smirk.

Trevor took a seat next to Aveline on the log and began to pop some of the wild berries into his mouth as he waited for Sypha to finish cooking. He watched as Aveline dried off the stone, and took it back, feeling how it was just as warm as before. He frowned at her "I didn't break it, she said it's fine." he said throwing the stone into the air and catching it perfectly. He put it back into his pocket for safe keeping. Sypha took the skillet off the fire and handed everyone their servings of eggs and ham in wooden bowls. She was accustomed to eating on the road like this, her grandfather taught both her and Zahra a lot about cooking while traveling.

Trevor took his serving last, but made sure that he did get the largest piece of ham, he didn't realize how hungry he was until he took the first bite. It was actually quite good "Sleep well?" he asked Aveline. He remembered the pain he felt in his back "The stone was very useful last night, until I slept on it-" he said with a fake smile. Even still it kept him warm throughout the night, which was something he did not usually have. Sypha shot a wink at Aveline as she chewed on a piece of bread. She dug through her satchel and pulled out her map to try and determine how far they were to the next town. According to her map if they continued to follow the river they would soon be upon a fishing village on a lake. Braila was on the coast, it would be at least a week if they continued east, but Sypha had not even the slightest clue where her grandfather was.

They finished breakfast fairly quickly, and got back into the wagon "The next town is fairly close, just a few more hours I believe, we can resupply there and ask if anyone has seen my people." said Sypha as she climbed into the wagon, she sat in the back smirking at Aveline as she pulled out a book to read to pass the time.

Zahra
She watched with intense interest as Alucard showed her the bath, she turned the handles on the sink just to play with the water temperature "This is brilliant, it's like magic!" she said with a child-like grin "But of course it's not magic, it's science." she tried to picture pipes running from the basement where there was likely some giant fire or machine that heated the water, and something else that pumped it up. It was hard for her to wrap her head around, it all felt so foreign and new, but she was eager to learn.

Looking back to Alucard she realized he was right, she would need some more clothes. Speakers hardly traveled with much, just a few outfits that they would wash in rivers or streams when they had the chance. She her extra pairs of clothing because Sypha insisted, but she had not yet gotten the chance to change since their journey began. The idea of taking a warm bath and putting on clean clothes seemed like a luxury, until now. She smiled "I suppose we can journey to the closest village soon, but I'll be fine in the meantime. I wish I knew how to sew, it would save us some trouble." she said as she leaned against the counter "Anyway, that is something to worry about in the morning, you run along. I'm going to try this bath." she said with an eager smile.

When Alucard left her in peace she filled the bath with warm water, and submerged body. Her muscles ached after the fight, and she had a few cuts and bruises that stung when the water washed over them. Still, it was more than she could have ever wished for. She wiped down her limbs with a wet cloth, and felt herself growing tired. When she finished, she changed into her clean clothes that she had carried in her bag, and climbed into bed.

Alucard
" You're correct, it is science, though the castle does have some magical elements to it. Father always found some way to go about things logically and even magic was no difference." Alucard explained. " And if you're that curious about It then i'll show it to you tomorrow. I was thinking you deserved a proper tour of the castle tomorrow so you don't get lost. I also need to take stock of everything and see just how much damage we need to repair."

" Of course." He chuckled as she shooed him from the bathroom. He could understand how a nice bath was a good way to end the end, and he left to his own room to do the same actually. While he had traveled the world before they came together to defeat his father he would never be able to get over how gross he felt after not bathing for long periods of time. He was raised with a level of luxury that others probably couldn't even wrap their minds around him.

But a bath would due him good, it would get the last bits of his fathers ashes and blood off of him if he had missed any. But once he was actually in the bath he couldn't stop scrubbing. He felt dirty all over, like he couldn't wash away what he had done. Even if he got the blood off( and god it looked stained to his hands. His hands would never be clean again) his sins were there to stay.

He pulled himself out of the bath and dressed, then silently roamed the halls of the castle to keep his mind busy. But knowing that Zahra was asleep allowed him to let down his guard a bit, and he ended up in his fathers study sitting in front of the fire. He looked at a picture of his mother and remembered happier days with her, he could hear his fathers final words echo in his head, then cried into his hands.

Aveline
" I slept very well." Aveline assured Trevor, but Sypha wiggled her eyebrows at her and left Aveline blushing a bit. " I feel very well rested after everything we've been through. I even think i'll take first watch night." She said with a nod. Trevor and Sypha had done the full watch last night and while the full night of sleep was wonderful Aveline felt like now it was someone elses turn to get a good nights sleep.

" Wait you slept on it? Oh i'm sorry trevor! I should of thought about that before giving you the stone." She brought her hand to her chin and softly began to mumble to herself, trying to figure out something else she could put the rune onto. Would wood hold up better? No that could wear away quicker and it would still hurt to sleep on. Maybe a pelt, oh but that would be so easy to destroy and if the pelt wasn't strong enough It could stretch and ruin the rune as well. It was a puzzle that she was eager to solve honestly.

She blew through her breakfast and pulled out a notebook to write out her ideas until it was time to go, then she hopped up front to ride with Trevor and Sypha. But instead Sypha slipped into the back with a smirk, leaving her and Trevor alone up front. Avelines eyes widened when she realized what Sypha was doing, then she blushed and turned her attention back to her notebook. It would only take a few hours to ride to the nearest town, she could handle that easily enough.

So to busy herself she decided to try out her theory of putting runes on clothing, so she dug around in her bag until she found some gloves she hadn't wore recently and began to stitch into it, her line work straight and steady despite the slight bumps that came with riding in a wagon.

Trevor
As they trailed along the beaten path, Trevor remained quiet for a long time, Sypha had to break the silence "Belnades and Belmont." she mumbled to herself "Belnades, Varor, and Belmont? Varor and Belnades?" she was scribbling notes down in her notebook "Belnades, Aveline, and Belmont... Aveline Belmont has a nice ring to it don't you think?" she said low enough for only Aveline to hear, and tried to hide her smile. Teasing her over her very obvious crush on the man was sure to entertain her for the remainder of the journey, she would likely tease Zahra and Alucard too if they were with them.

Trevor arched a brow "What are you doing, exactly?" he questioned, causing Sypha perk up.

"Writing down the story of Dracula's defeat, I think we can keep so much more information if we write it all down. However..." she trailed off as she tried to find the right words "I'm not the best author, nothing sounds right." she sighed.

Trevor shook his head, and glanced down at Aveline, impressed by the fact that she was sewing a straight line despite his horrible driving skills. He was curious "Are you, trying to inscribe runes on clothing?" he asked as he leaned closer to her trying to get a better look. A clever idea, he thought, there could be a lot of uses for that, both for practical use and battle "If that works, you think you can do it on weapons to?" his childhood self would have loved a flaming sword.

Zahra
The next morning Zahra was up bright and early, she had never slept so well in her life. She got up and made her bed, grabbed a simple loaf of bread for breakfast and started working on the library. Sweeping up the glass and putting scattered books back in their place. She had cut herself on the glass a few times, and quickly cleaned and wrapped up the wound each time, eventually her fingers were covered in bandages. She had hiked up her skirt and rolled up her sleeves, she looked ready for battle to be honest.

She had managed to get all the glass up off the floor before she began to wonder where Alucard was. When she first awoke she did not go searching for him, knowing he likely needed his rest, however by now she would have expected him to be up. Curious she went to check his room, and did not find him there. That was a bit concerning. The castle was so large she was scared she would get lost if she looked for him, but she was worried about him.

Wandering the halls and stairways she finally came across an open door. A study, it seemed. Alucard was asleep in the chair, she sighed and leaned her broom against the wall. The fire had died long ago, the ashes were cold, Alucard was propped up in an uncomfortable position. His cheeks were stained, and his eyes slightly red. Zahra pushed a strand of hair out of his face "Oh, Alucard." she whispered quietly.

Alucard
The crying had taken up most of the night, which didn't surprise Alucard since he had always been a bit of a night owl. It was only when the sun started to crest the ridge of the mountains that he felt so tired after everything. His mind had been tormented by memories and echoes of everything he had been through and finally he was just too tired. He fell asleep in his chair at some point, the teas sticking his hair to his face in a few places and the chill leaving him slightly uncomfortable.

He hadn't realized it was morning or how late it was until he felt warm gentle hands on his face. For a moment he thought he had woken up in his old room again, had his mother come to wake him up because he had slept in? How unlike him. But he opened sore eyes and saw Zahra and was reminded of everything that had happened. His mothers murder, his fathers death at his hands, and him finally breaking down last night.

" Zahra." He said softly as he pulled away from her touch as he tried to make himself presentable, but she had a look in her eyes that said she knew what he had been doing last night. His eyes landed on a clock off to the side and realized she must of come looking for him after he didn't run into her this morning. " Looks like I over slept. I'm sorry for worrying you. I hope you didn't have a hard time finding me. I haven't even given you a tour of the castle yet."

Aveline
Hearing Syphas whisptered teasing behind her Aveline jabbed her with her elbow when her face couldn't take it anymore, and she smiled hearing Syphas 'ow!' from the back. " I'm sure you'll come up with something perfect for telling you're people when you meet up with them again. Though talking certainly won't help you focus." She said, hoping she could stop Syphas teasing if only for a little while.

She turned back to her work, only looking away when she heard Trevors voice. She tensed up slightly when he leaned in close to see her work, but relaxed after a second. Even if they were all dirty from fighting and traveling their was something about Trevors scent that was just' trevor' and she relaxed around. " Yes, key word trying. I was thinking that runes stitches into clothing should work similarly to runes sketched into stones." She explained as she finished up the rune of the glove she was teasing out. Though she stopped to think hearing Trevors question about weapons.

" Weapons would probably be a lot easier than clothes honestly. Anything hard and rigid that can keep the shape of the rune is best. Though i'm no black smith so i'd have to scratch it or paint it onto the weapon so it'd need touched up a lot." She mused. " Though if you want me to try something on one of you're weapons then you'd just need to keep me around to touch up the rune every now and again." She teased him with a playful nudge to his side.
