Caste Game
filler thing. ignore
Welcome to the X high: a completely ordinary high school located in X, The United States. X high is plain school not remembered by outstandingly smart students or great cultural achievements. It is your average high school, that doesn't have anything striking about it. It just exists. Your typical students, typical teachers and typical rules. Completely plain and normal- at least that's how it seems to outsiders.
When you take glance at one of the classes, you won't see anything out of the norm. The class has your bullies, bullied one, weird kids and a popular kids. However the truth is X high is anything but normal. When you take another glance you will notice, all the students acts like they are forced to act the way. Nothing seems genius, as if they're not actually being their selves. And that's what is true: they aren't being their genuine selves. For years there has been going on this game, The Caste Game, and only students know about it.
No one knows who started it, when or why. It's just something that has been going on for years and years. Caste game is a game, sort of tool, that decides ones status in the class. Empty standard card pack on top of teacher's table is a sign the Caste game has begun. Cards of the pack are hidden around the school building and after school, everyone has to find a card for themselves. The card will determine what your status is going to be. Joker is the lowest card, the one to be bullied, and King is the highest card, the one everyone needs to obey. The rules of Caste game are absolute and must be obeyed.
Intro
More about caste game So this is where I'm going to explain more about Caste Game and the rules of it. This rp is inspired by Chise Ogawa's manga Caste Heaven. Shortly, the idea is to play as a students in a school where ones status is determined by a game. The Caste game begins always at the beginning of semester, or when a new student gets transferred to the class. The caste has been split into three classes= lower class, middle class and higher class. Each caste class has roles that belong to the certain caste. The card you receive will determine your caste and role. For example the card King is the highest card and belongs to the highest caste. As the name suggests, king is the one everyone needs to obey. The card Joker is the lowest card and belongs to the lowest class. Joker is the one to be bullied.
Also all the students who refuse to play the caste game are forced to become bullied just like the joker. However there is two exceptions to the rule: the delinquents (card ace) and the "freaks" (card 2). Delinquents, as the name suggests, are the bad boys/girls/people of the school. They are not part of the caste at all. The same goes for the "freaks", who aren't part of the caste either. Freaks are these mysterious people who have refused to take part of caste game and haven't ended up being bullied for some reason. The card you receive will define which caste you belong. Caste game and it’s rules are absolute and they must be obeyed. The lower caste members are not allowed to disobey the higher caste members. The caste you are placed in is final.
Roles/cards from highest to lowest
► King The highest card and leader of whole caste. Everyone have to obey king's rules.
► Queen The second highest card. Has to obey only the king.
► Jack Like king's best friend. Has to obey only king and queen.
#10 Yes-man. Has to please people with higher status. Part of higher class.
► #9 Wannabe. Has to act like people with higher status and please them. Part of higher class.
► #8 Gofer. Sort of messenger. Transmit messages from upper class to lower class. Part of middle class.
► #7 Preppy. As the name suggests, your regular students. Part of middle class.
► #6 Slackers. As the name suggests, the not so studious students. Part of middle class.
► #5 Geeks. Again.. as the name suggests. Gaming, Fan girling etc. Part of lower class.
► #4 Goths. Has to act like goth stereotypes. Part the lower class.
► #3 Nerds. Smart people. Part of the lower class.
► #2 Freaks. Mysterious people who are not part of the caste and the caste rules doesn't apply on them.
► Ace Delinquents. They are not part of caste and the caste rules doesn't apply on them.
► Joker Lowest card and target for bullying. Also people who refuse to play Caste game will be in this caste.
Lore
1. Rule
No drama in ooc I want this rp to be fun for everyone. Please, leave drama in the ic. Don't start quarrels in the ooc topic.
2. Rule
Face claims We will be using face claims in this rp. Real face claims only. All the characters are in same class, the second year/around 17-years. I will accept few slightly older/younger characters, but there needs to be a reason why they are on lower/upper class. Please pick a fc that looks like that age range!
3. Rule
Basic rules of roleplaying You should understand the basic rules about: no auto hitting, munching, copying, overpowering etc. No mary sues/gary stues, I want original characters with their strengths and weaknesses. No one-liners. Three (3) paragraphs is the minimum, but more is welcomed. Also the gm (me, Myling ) and possible co-gms should be obeyed. If I'm out of duty (or just online) my co-gms have full control.
4. Rule
Character limitations There is no limit on how many characters you can make, but please make just the amount you can handle. However some of the cards/roles will be limited. There is going to be just one card of every higher class caste. I don't want multiple kings or queens. The limited cards will be these ones: King (1), Queen (1), Jack (1), wannabe/#9 (2), yes-man/#10 (2) and Joker (1, however there can be more bullied characters). I also don't want everyone's character to be delinquent/freak, but I won't put any limitations on those so far.
5. Rule
Discord is needed You must have discord to be part of this rp. All ooc and character sheets will take place there. I shall put the discord link here once, it's created. The ic will be on rpnation.
