Personality
Dr Lucal Gien harbours a deep-seated obsession with death, both the idea of his own impending fate and the concept of death in general. Though his job entails treating the living of their ailments, Dr Gien derives more pleasure from cutting up the bodies of the deceased and revelling in the inner workings of the human body rendered lifeless.

Though this morbid curiosity does not extend to all parts of his life, it has certainly aged Dr Giel far beyond his years even for a 67-year-old, hunching his back over from the countless hours bent over cadavers and growing heavy bags beneath his eyes from countless insomniac nights.

Strengths
- Extensive medical and anatomical knowledge
- Ability to empathise

Flaws
- Physical frailty
- Partial deafness
- Mild cataracts
- Debilitating obsession with death
- Lack of trustworthiness

Starting Inventory
- Small chest of herbal medicines

Background
Lucal Gien was born in the outskirt town of Kyrietts (located in a remote, barely significant region of the massive empire), to a family of merchants. His first brush with death came when he was 5, when a bandit army wrested Kyrietts from Barduria (which had long maintained suzerainty over it but saw little need to enforce it), ruling for three weeks. During this time, his father (who tried to start a resistance from the beer hall) was captured and, as punishment, was sentenced to break the wheel in public.

Even after Kyrietts was liberated, Lucal Gien continued to harp over the deaths he had witnessed, but not in a nightmarish way; something about those lifeless bodies simply drew him in and demanded his attention.

At the age of 22, Gien broke away from the family's mercantile tradition and became apprenticed to a local doctor. He spent five years learning the tricks of the trade, before heading off to practise. Gien eventually came to dedicate the majority of his life to administering treatments and, in secret, cutting up the bodies of those patients who had died to see inside and gaze upon their deadness.

When he was 60, Gien was hired by Rabs Khlob, the ruler of the nearby Kliest Landgraviate, as a personal physician. Despite being just 44, Landgrave Khlob was in terrible health; due to his utter disregard for personal hygiene, binge eating habits, and lack of physical exercise, Khlob, who stood just 170cm tall, weighed 136kg, and suffered from a long list of conditions like diabetes and gangrene.

Not only was his body a complete mess, Landgrave Khlob was also extremely vicious, treating his servants very badly. This mistreatment extended to Dr Lucal Gien, who came to hate Khlob just days after he had been hired.

One afternoon, he presented his resignation letter to the Landgrave, who refused. In retaliation, Dr Lucal Gien swapped one of Khlob's 16 dietary supplements with poison. Khlob, who suffered from a massive stroke that night due to the poison, didn't die immediately, but lived on completely incontinent and helpless.

Unwilling to let this opportunity slide, Dr Gien proceeded to slip Khlob with more poison, in much larger doses. Khlob eventually caught on, however, and through painstaking means, alerted his son to the doctor's scheme. Dr Gien was arrested and locked up just one hour before Khlob suffered a second stroke and died.

The proceedings against Gien were delayed for a number of reasons, most notably the decayed state of the Kliest Landgraviate's bureaucracy. Finally, when Gien was 67, the sentence was pronounced; for the crimes of perfidy against his master and medical malpractice, Dr Lucal Gien had been sentenced to exile to Carus.

Background
Ynge was born in a slum located in a trading city. Both his parents abandoned him when he was around six in order to try and find work in the affluent city districts. They never returned.

From a young age, he lived as a vagabond, wielding a laundry pole to fend off assailants and eating just about anything he could find. On numerous occasions, Ynge would socialise with some of the street urchins (most of whom were older than he was), but never really joined their groups, preferring to live as a loner.

It was when Ynge was 11 that the city government began a campaign to clean out the slums which, unsurprisingly, involved exterminating (the exact word used in the edict was "relieving") the occupants of said slums.

As the soldiers marched in and began dragging out some people to be "relieved", others made attempts to escape, including Ynge, who, along with a 17-year-old boy, had robbed a military rations cart, clobbered the unsuspecting (and sleepy) guard from behind, and made off in the opposite direction of the city, from where the affluent part of the city was.

It turned out that the "guard" was actually an officer who was relaxing at what seemed like a more "quiet" area. Both boys were captured, beaten, and dragged before a court martial, where straws were clutched at mercilessly in an attempt to convict the two of as severe crimes as possible.

The 17-year-old, unbeknownst to Ynge (they were kept in solitary confinement awaiting the kangaroo court's sentences), committed suicide in prison.

Ynge, on the other hand, was sentenced to exile to Carus, for theft and assault, but also for more bizarre things like terrorism ("his attack on the unarmed colonel caused terror to the citizens of the city"; the obvious irony was lost on the military judges), lèse-majesté ("attacking a servant of the Emperor is like attacking the Emperor himself"), and even homosexuality ("why is he trying to escape alongside another man?")

Looks

(Right) (Clothes not Accurate)
Cal is usually dressed in simple cloth clothes, usually preferring long pants and dark colors. He doesn't have a sheath for his knife but he does have a hook on his belt designated fo carrying the weapon.

About
Crime
Murder Charge for the Murder of: Dwight G. Hall (father), Melissa G. Hall (mom), Timothy H. Hall (brother), Alan Hunt (neighbor), Joshua Kharm (neighbor), Marcie Kathara (teacher), Lin Adithi (child).

Personality
On one hand cheerful and optimistic, Cal is laughs easily and is easy to talk to. He has an aura of a laid-back guy with a taste for adventure, and this isn't entirely untrue. He enjoys exploring new places and learning new things, but he is by no means laid back. In reality, Cal is always assessing his surroundings and analyzing any piece of information that comes his way. He holds a grudge like few others, but luckily he isn't very hot-headed so his grudges don't form easily.

Under the surface of a happy, go-lucky guy is a cold calculating criminal. He analyzes information solely for the purpose of future schemes and while he doesn't hate other people he certainly doesn't like them. When it comes to his sister, he is incredibly protective. Unless it's part of one of their plans, nobody gets to touch her and he'd prefer that nobody would get to speak to her either. Aside from the exception of Cassy, whom he values above all else, Cal is very self-centered and only ever acts to further his own goals.

Strengths
Intellect/Analysis - Aside from generally being pretty booksmart, Cal is incredibly good at picking up clues in order to draw larger conclusions. Given the bare minimum of evidence he is capable of analyzing the situation to figure out what the best course of action is.

Personable - Cal can be very easy to get along with, he is generally pretty talkative and easy going. In this way he makes allies and friends very easily which gives him power over them. He can then hand them over to his sister so that they can manipulate them to the twins' purpose. It's a very sohphisticated system, Cal lures people in and Cassy traps them.

Strength - Cal is physically very strong. It is by no means superhuman but he is easily capable of swinging his massive meat cleaver around with ease, and he rarely tires.

Flaws
Fearless - While this may sound like a positive attribute, Cal morphs it into a flaw because he fears absolutely nothing and will walk into anything without second thought. This includes situations where he is likely or garunteed to die, so if left alone he probably would end up going and unintentionally killing himself.

Near-Sighted - Cal does not have glasses but is in desperate need of them. He can only see around five feet in front of himself and everything else is a blur.

Reliant - He has an unhealthy reliance upon his twin to the point where he cannot normally function without her. Aside from seperation anxiety, he also relies on her to be his eyes when looking far away and all of his plans and conclusions involve her in some way.

Starting Inventory
A meat cleaver and a small hunting knife.

Background
Cal and Cassy were the types of babies that didn't make any sound. They didn't cry, they didn't laugh, and they didn't move much either. Their parents began to fear that they were mentally defective in some way, but it was soon discovered that they did have some semblance of emotion: whenever they were separated, they would cry and throw fits until they were put back together. As toddlers, their first words were each the other twin's name. Such was the beginning of an incredibly close siblingship, when you found one it was a garuntee that the other was only a few feet away.

As they grew into their early teens, much to their parents' relief they became much more sociable. Soon enough they were being invited to all the village' she spiral events and seemed to be everybody's favorite siblings. Elders and children alike loved to spend time with them and the twins seemed happy. Under the surface, however, their parents could sense that something was very wrong with the two teens. Especially after they had their third child, Timothy, who was four years younger than the twins they began to cast the twins to the side in order to 'protect' their third child who they babied.

Thus shunned, the twins began to feel more and more isolated from their family. Loathing their spoiled younger brother, they slowly began to develop a plan to get rid of him. However, as their parents' bias became increasingly obvious, the scope of their plan broadened. In the end, the twins managed to create an elaborate plot. Cassy began to undermine their father's self esteem until he became severely depressed. Shortly before they deemed their plan was ready to begin, they began to start spreading rumors around the village that their parents were going on vacation. Then, they managed to separate their mother and brother from their father one night in the house.

While Cal killed their mother and brother by beheading them with a butcher's knife, Cassy gave their father his final encouragement before he killed himself by hanging. Since the family owned a butcher's shop, the twins hung up the bodies at the back of the shop with the meat. The murder occurred when they were 16, and when their parents didn't come back from their vacation the village assumed they had been killed by bandits or the like. After their first success, the twins began to slowly pick through anybody who disrespected them. Their kill count up to seven, the village cowered in fear of the serial killings but nobody suspected the cheerful orphaned teens.

When they were 20, somebody stumbled across the bodies in the back of the butcher's shop by accident and a year long investigation began until the twins were eventually convicted. Nobody wanted to believe that the well-loved twins had committed such a crime, but authorities made a final ruling and they were shipped off to Carcus.

Looks
f0741d34c0704200099efc7b8df8c466.jpg

(Left) (Clothes not Accurate)
Cassy prefers to dress in neutral colors whenever possible, and while she does wear shorts she vastly prefers long pants. You can hardly ever find her in dresses or skirts. Cassy dislikes tight clothing because it restricts her movement, so she's generally leans towards the flowing side. She has a small sheath for her dagger attached to her belt.

About
Crime
Murder Charge for the Murder of: Dwight G. Hall (father), Melissa G. Hall (mom), Timothy H. Hall (brother), Alan Hunt (neighbor), Joshua Kharm (neighbor), Marcie Kathara (teacher), Lin Adithi (child).

Personality
Tending to be preppy and talkative, Cassy is what you'd envision as a classic social butterfly. She seems to enjoy talking to other people and is good at drawing out conversations a small long as possible with random tidbits and anecdotes. She doesn't come across as clever in the slightest because of the way she always just goes on, oblivious to everything around her and apparently I'm her own little happy bubble. However, she is notably very paranoid and has a tendency to overthink just about everything in her life.

Considering she's a convicted murderer, it is no surprise that there is a vastly different side to this seemingly innocent, happy girl. She often lies in order to fit in, and all of her actions have a purpose. Even if she's just rattling off about some random topic, it is calculated so that perhaps she plants an idea in the other person's mind or buy time. She's a master of suggestion and is very good at integrating her own personal agenda into other people's lives. Cassy is on the border of total indifference to other people and a total loss of empathy. The only person she truly regards as a human and as an equal is her brother.

Strengths
Manipulative - Adept at reading people and getting them to do what she wants. Her preppy demeanor both helps and harms this ability, as people often underestimate her and follow her orders but also some people are put off by her exuberance.

Liar - A person who has perfected the art of lying. Able to say absolutely anything she wants with almost a garuntee that other people will believe her. She's very good at making up believable stories which allows her to fit into a lot of diverse groups.

Agility - Cassy is very flexible and has good reflexes which allows her to be very light on her feet and agile. She can generally fit into small spaces with ease.

Flaws
Paranoid - Having a tendency to overthink everything, Cassy always comes up with new things to be terrified by and to be wary of. This doesn't only extend to situations but also to people, she can only ever seem to see the worst in others. This can be crippling for her as without moral support she would be literally curled up in a corner out of fear for the rest of her life.

Weak - Cassy is very physically weak in her upper body. She can't lift objects any heavier than a common household appliance and tends to get tired easily when doing activities involving upper body strength. Her legs are stronger so she can run and walk without difficultly but often times she tires after this as well.

Reliant - She has an unhealthy reliance upon her twin to the point where she cannot normally function without him. Aside from seperation anxiety, she also relies on him to constantly smooth her fears and do anything that requires physical strength.

Starting Inventory
A dagger and a small backpack, currently filled with nothing.

Burn scars rise up through his right arm almost engulfing it entirely and runs a few licks past his shoulder and onto his back. His left hand is missing the ring finger, cut off at the knuckle.

[------------------------------]

[------------------------------]

Crime: Arson, Murder

Personality: Jonathan is an eccentric fellow, who is always willing to try something new even if it ends up hurting him. He’s always seeking out a new thrill to keep him entertained for the next five minutes, as he tends to grow bored of things rather quickly. He loves to give himself a challenge. The more difficult it is the more fun he is going to have. If it is not fun it is not worth doing.

Yet, like everyone else he does get angry, despite his attitude. It does take quite a lot of pestering to get under his skin, but when one does, he is no longer happy. His mind focuses on one thing, their total and utter destruction. He tends to isolate himself during this moment to hatch up some contrived plan to take them down. After some time he will cool down and go back to his old ways of pure fun, however, the mark will reside in him until it is removed by blood. And at which point things get a little heated.

Strengths:
  • Strength - While not the strongest person around, he is stronger than the average Joe.

  • Resilience - Because of the things he did in his past, he managed to make his body resist a certain amount of pain.

Flaws:
  • Reckless - Jonathan will jump in at anything that seems fun at the risk of his own life. He does not fear death as one should, resulting in many avoidable injuries and lacerations.

  • Resentful - One should be careful when crossing him. While he may seem like he has forgiven you he can lash out at any moment. These feelings can be held on for years, or simply minutes before he decides to exact his revenge.
Starting Inventory: 10 feet of rope

Background: Jonathan was born into a small farm to two poor farmers. From a young age he was forced to help his parents with the farm, losing out on most of his childhood. However whenever he did get the chance to leave the farm for the city, he’d go crazy. There he’d make a few friends, all scoundrels and riff raffs.

With his friends he learned a whole new world filled with joy and danger. This immersion forced him to change who he was. No longer did he do his work at the farm, much to the distress of his parents. Instead he’d run around, mess with the animals and upturn the vegetables. Eventually his parents forced him off the farm, at the age of sixteen, as they could no longer afford to keep him around. He happily left to go rejoin his friends in the city.

Once there he learned that life there was no as much fun as it was when he simply visited. Nevertheless he found ways to entertain himself, by messing with the people and doing stupid stunts, such as jumping off buildings or playing the knife game. Such reckless behavior was reported to the authorities and he was forced out of the city. Whenever he tried to sneak back in he was either tossed out, or beaten and tossed out.

Eventually he found himself someone to love and settle down. However his behavior led to the marriage falling apart. This led him off to wander the nation before coming across a large farm held by one of the nobles. And what better way to say hello than a stupid prank? This led him to having his arm stuck in a furnace, until he managed to pull it out.

The next few weeks he was held in a prison cell before he broke out. Still suffering from his wounds, he ran as far as he could until he met his ex-wife, and rested with her. Once he was healed, he decided to stay with her. However, a burning anger in him made him leave her and search out that pesky noble.

It wasn’t hard to find his way back to the farm, nor was it to get past his guards. He was going to show that old man how it felt to get an arm stuck in a fire. He tried to carry the noble, but was found out when the noble shouted for help. In order to escape, Jonathan grabbed a candle and tossed it at the curtains, which grew ablaze. Unfortunately the fire spread throughout the entire estate at an incredible rate.

At the end of the fire’s life all that remained were the charred remains of the mansion, burned corn fields, and quite a few smoking corpses.

PERSONALITY

Colette is a soft spoken girl she tends to speak very lightly, she is easily scared yet at times she can be very fearless when those she loves are in danger. Kindhearted to the bone Colette will do anything to help an individual, she is honest and will tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. You will come to find that her emotions are very fragile, from easily crying when someone yells at her to not standing injustice. Speaking of which Colette can't stand injustice she is a very lawful person and always follows the rules.

Colette gives off an aura of innocence making people around her feel empowered, she is a very calm person in general. Trustworthy...its a good trait at times, Colette doesn't seem to know how to use it as she trusts those around her whether their intentions are good or bad. She believes everything that's told to her, trusting that the person has a pure heart. Colette is foolishly honest, people can easily step on her even when those who have hurt her try warning her it simply just doesn't work. Still believing that everyone has a little bit of good in them or they just wouldn't be humans.

BACKSTORY

Colette was born surrounded by many people, people who showed her affection and love, her parents were great human beings their life was perfect or so it appeared. Julie Vandam was an entertainer if you will, her singing was unique she had a strong voice many people would listen to her sing rich and poor loved her strong personality/voice. Her husband was a man of law he decided what was wrong and what was right, thus Colette grew up following all the rules in the book. Making her father stand out in the law department she was her parent's little angel she was their pride

Since she was 4 years old singing is all she could do she doesn't remember if she was forced to do it but her singing was that of an angel-pure as if it held no sins. Many fancied her more than her mother for her beauty and her talent, in just days she stole the people's hearts. Colette enjoyed the love that was given to her yet there were some hated her, despised her. She was a suspect to bullying the girls at her school would demolish her pride every single day. Colette was frightened to leave the house at night although her school was miles away it didn't matter since by the time she reached her home it was midnight. She was always caught and beaten when she returned she would try her best to cover her injuries.

" There are people all around me, but...I'm all alone."

" Does time really heal all wounds? If I bear it long enough, will I forget everything? "

The bullying still proceeded and so did Colette's popularity it wasn't long before the tragedy the struck the family when a man broke into the Vandam home and kidnapped the youngest child. It went on for about a year Colette was kept in a dark room and was given so little to eat. The Vandam's looked everywhere, Julie Vandam never stopped looking yet Colette's father had given up hope. Many never stopped looking, It wasn't long before the hateful man took Colette out of her dark whole it was pitch black at that time. Colette was taken back to her home in the middle of the night, her parents were so thrilled to see her the happiness lasted only a day the people greeted her with joy of course, yet Colette didn't want to speak of what happened and the man she never saw his face and that night he returned killing her parents in front of her eyes.

The next day Colette was found in the room that her parents were slaughtered with a knife in her hand that's not all the evidence pointed to her. The scenes were said to be so gruesome that it was given its own name it was a sight that would make a grown man cry, the scene caused many to turn against the girl. She quickly became the most notorious killer with just one killing. Colette was interrogated like no other, she denied that she killed her parents. Yet slowly even Colette began believing that she killed her parents, the doctors told her that she was insane and that maybe that's why she doesn't remember. It was strange it's as if they tricked her into believing that she truly killed them, with a tear-stained face Colette nodded her head when she was asked if she killed her parents.

[Framed for] Murder, Arson, and Robbery
Personality:
Noir, to be blunt, is a depressing guy. He has anxiety and doesn't talk much. If he does talk, it's pretty quiet. He's more of a pessimistic person rather than a optimistic person. Despite his introvert attitude, he's friendly. He knows his manners and comes off as a polite person. Of course, he's seems to be a push over, a human punching bag. Noir isn't confident in anything he does but tries to find said confidence overtime. Though, he's loyal to anyone he becomes friends with. He often forgives those who wronged him and cares for everyone, even the wicked! If he's given a job or goal, he'll do his best to complete it. He dreams of a peaceful world to live in. This explains why he's peaceful and relies on his brain rather than brawn. He plans out his moves rather than going with the flow. Noir is not an insane person, he doesn't show signs of it. Overall, Noir is a depressed, friendly introvert.
Strengths:
Pre-Planning: Noir plans his actions out before acting. He'll take weaknesses, strengths, and the environment into account when planning.
Intelligence: Noir relies on brain rather than brawn. He thinks logically and rationally. He's high above average when it comes to intelligence.
Resourcefulness: The depressing guy is able to use whatever is around him to his advantage. Such as the trees, pebbles, sticks, etc.
Wisdom: Noir has a lot of experience and passes it down for everyone to learn from it.
Survivalist: Noir has learned how to survive in situations, like being lost or closed in.
Flaws:
Weak: Though he's very intelligent, Noir is pretty weak. This is a major weakness for him, physically and mentally.
Slow-Planner: Noir's planning skills are pretty slow, he does have to take everything into account.
Shy: If he wants to confront someone, his words would stumble and be pretty slow. He won't be able to get to the point or start a conversation.
Unathletic: The guy isn't an athlete. He's not quick or agile.
Depression: Noir's depression does get to the better of him. However, it's not too destructive now as he was as a kid.
Starting Inventory:
A potato sack with nothing inside and a dull knife.
Background:
Noir's life wasn't easy. It started off pretty badly. You see, Noir is an orphan who was born in a dark village. It was located in a cave. A year after his younger brother was born, Noir's mother and father were murdered right in front of him. His older sister and little brother was kidnapped by the same people who murdered his parents. These murderers/kidnappers were part of an elite nation. Noir was left by himself in his depressing, dark, gloomy village. With his family gone and the run, he arrived in a church.

The church was where he spent the most of his childhood and early teenage years. He was a punching bag for muggers, bullies, and bad people. But, the priest of the church helped Noir fight back with peace and wisdom. Of course, it wasn't easy. He couldn't find back with brute strength but he used his words to fight. As he aged, he mastered the way of peace and wisdom. Noir knew how to fight with words. The priest helped Noir with his depression and anxiety, but it still remains. It did help! This only happened in Noir's home village, however.

At the age of 15, Noir decided to find the murderers of his parents and kidnappers of his siblings. He left his village and journeyed to city to city. He experienced a lot of bad people on his journey. Noir used his words to convince people to do the right thing and change themselves. It usually worked and helped Noir out. When it didn't work out, Noir was always beaten up badly. Anyway, he manage to gain some wisdom and knowledge over the years. He eventually found a trace to the people who have ruined his life, this was at the age of 25.

This was a city that was bright all around. Everyone seemed nice but they were truly evil. Noir finally arrived here at the of 26. This was when things got intense. On a stroll to find the elite murderers, Noir witnessed a robbery. Planning his actions, Noir made sure he caught the robber. Later on, he caught the robber in a populated building. Noir demonstrated his use of words on the robber, but the robber refused to give up his life of crime. Instead, the robber attempted to make a fire and escape. To counter this, Noir tried to stop the robber's attempt and grab the stolen goods. Unfortunately, Noir and the robber had ultimately caused the fire, burning down the populated building, and was found with the stolen goods in hand. When authorities arrived, the robber escaped and Noir was blamed for such crimes. Without a single trial or testimony, Noir was shipped off to the island known as, Carus.

How will Noir survive?
