No character posts until game is officially started by the GM. This will be announced in the OOC and all accepted characters will be sent PM's as well.
Within the walled city of Polum many a story has begun, stories of heroes and sellswords, of great mages and the capture of fierce beasts. A great many tend to forget that these legends begin at humble roots with nothing more then the cards handed out by the initial guild registry after the user has passed their exams and gotten the official seal by the leaders of the Unified World Kingdom. These Card Casters come together at their graduation, either being absorbed into large Guilds or forming together to start something new. They gather together the wealth they have and buy the property they can afford on the Guild Mainstreets, far away from the shops and trade within the city.
Today such a group has come together, bringing their wealth together to purchase a small house for themselves, with no grand towers of lovely arrangements. In fact the building itself is in disrepair, with leaks in the ceiling and cracks in the stone walls. The previous Guild had fallen victim to one of their members being driven insane by cards beyond his control, thus the easy asking price and the damages. At the front of the gate is a sign denoting the Guilds name, one of dozens of starting Guilds that have no doubt risen up. On the front wall of the building is a place for people to place requests and missions, or to set times for meetings.
Through grand adventures will be few and far between this new Guild has found itself in a fair place, surrounded by some larger Guilds, which might drive those without the ability to pay for greater Guilds to them upon seeing guards posted at the door. All adventures start somewhere, all legends start from humble beginnings.
And with the new members entrance to their home and resting place so begins a new chapter.
