'Love at first sight'
Something simple and often overlooked words, naive and too fairytale'ish.
But why not indulge in such romance? A gentle pursue of love that stems from such naive thought.
Hello, I'm mainly looking for. . . I have no idea how else to put this into words. "Gentleman, yet dominant lover.(top)" To fall in love at first sight with Lucien, to court him properly so we can both giggle and kick our feet at the blossoming romance as Lucien learns to open up to the feeling of being cherished and loved.
Be aware that beneath Lucien's distant demeanor, his heart is quite fragile when it comes to romance, handle him with care.
If your character just so happen to be some kind of womanizer, or something of the like that flirts with everyone- don't. Lucien cannot handle such absurd behavior, what's the point of love at first sight if your character go and flirt with other people while still trying to properly court Lucien??
Your character can be in any position you want - A Prince, Duke, Adventurer, someone in the military even, merchants! Stopping by the inn for the night, probably not looking for anything in particular but a room and a nice meal - but he finds the love of his life at first sight instead.
It's one of those nights again. Rowdy customers at the pub causing chaos, he can hear the arguments from the main building where he is in, this is partially the reason why he decide to make the pub a separate building. The sun had just barely gone down and the patrons are already so loud- some of them aren't even staying at his inn, they're just here for the drinks... But ah that's not something he can complain upfront, it's a good source of money.
Decorative sconce along the wall provide ample light in his modest lobby, as with oil based lanterns in the corners, warding off uneasy shadow puppets from dancing fires.
He sat behind the reception counter with an open book, amber eyes reading printed ink across the pages. Dressed in casual white dress shirt and grey pants, his long hair tied to a low ponytail. Business has been slow recently, mainly due to the main route that leads to this countryside isn't quite safe as it once was, monsters had started to attack anyone who dared go through there, so people has been taking an alternate route - quite a long one but much safer.
Urgent letters to the capital had been sent a few times over the past few months, but so far no sign of soldiers being dispatched to aid them, or any sort of acknowledgement that they've gotten their letter at all. Those royals. . . Doing nothing but sitting on their hands while the common folks are the one suffering. He really hoped it'll be resolved soon, his career can't go tumbling down just after a year.
When the front door opened with a slight creak, the top of the door hit a small bell hung above, chimed as strangers stepped into the building.
Lucien stood up, closing his book, slender hands fixing strands of silver hair and tucked them behind his ear. "Welcome to Nighthaven Inn." He greets. Who might these unfamiliar faces be?

Such as a prince? From where and why is he here? Could the prince had gotten tired of the nobles not doing anything about the attack and he decides to bring his men to combat the situation?

What about the soldiers or adventurer should you choose that? Are they here because of orders, or had they taken commissions to rid of the monsters?

I am a fairytale storyteller at heart, so be prepared for the most fluff, cliche scenes one can imagine. So I'm looking for someone of similar interests, romance, cliche, fluff, actions, some angst but I hope not too much, my heart can't take it.
In regards to angst regarding romance (miscommunication, Lucien seeing your oc being flirted with and your oc kinda playing along with the advances) - if it's not addressed in a few replies, or in a few days time in the rp, I don't want it. This RP is specifically for soft love, commitment to 'love at first sight', if your OC isn't the type to reassure Lucien right there and then like a gentle, dominant man. I don't want it.
However please be at least 18 of age, as there will be mature topic discussed involving real world issues to fit the theme of world building as we go.
I love talking about potential plot, future plots and what is currently going on in the roleplay. Playing as multiple characters are always encouraged as it helps making the world feel lived in, be it ordinary npcs or other staff, or a friend coming to visit. So I hope we can talk OOC often to help establish where we are in the roleplay and how to move scenes along.
I mostly write multiple paragraphs. But we can do smaller scale when they're just talking to one another. Of course literacy is needed, I'm not an expert either but I do hope there will be efforts from both of us.
I however, am strict with appearance since I'm a sucker for handsome faces. Please make sure the art and style you use at least fit mine/or is proper so it's not too jarring to imagine them both together. My imagination is quite vivid.
