"Here you are, my dearest Marquess. The perfect poison. Your bastard sister will have no clue until she has collapsed on her cold marble floor, vomiting the very organs that kept up her plaguing existence." The alchemist exclaimed with the utmost confidence. The happiness gleaming in his eyes. The fact that the Marchioness of Lacayia was going to perish was almost enough to make Lord Ron ku' crumple up and cry tears of joy. Indeed she was his 'lovely' little sister but why should he care? She was the very one who kicked him out of the territory. The one who wronged him. Her death was nothing else but righteous!
Ron ku' picked up the bottle and held it close to his eye. It was a dark red colour, the colour of red wine and blood. The liquid swam around in the class like mercury would. It was definitely an interesting substance, but was it effective?
"Careful, the poison may be even effective inside the vial." The alchemist said with giggle, making it clear he was simple jesting.
"What is it Alchemist? The formula that is." Ron Ku' said shoving the vial into his left pocket.
"Quite the tenacious one aren't you? Hehe, I envy your curiosity M'lord. It is quite odd, if I do say so myself. The poison derives from two substances, my discoveries of course. The first is a special variation of Arsenic, a deadly poison and cantharidin powder made by this bugger right here." He said picking up a glass box consisting of one giant beetle with yellow stripes on it's back.
"I see, very creative of you my dear alchemist. But the liquid aspect of it, I must know!" Ron Ku' calmly demanded.
"Allow me to cover that in this very instance M'lord. This is where it gets strange mind you. I used cucumber oil and ground up pig organs, to remove the taste from it. If we can get one of your insiders to slip it into her wine, she would will not know the difference."
Ron ku' let out a subtle chuckle, however not for the reason one would think. He found it amusing that his little sister would fall to pig organs and cucumber juices. The thought made him desire time to sit all alone and just laugh at the idea. Even if the poison failed, he would not be discovered, there was no losing this one. But he also had confidence in this man. He had created many poison that succeeded in his tests before. Not to mention this was one of his closest friends, a man he could trust his beating heart with.
"One last thing... friend. How long will the effects take place and is there any notable cures?" Ron Ku' inquired, walking back and forth from the excitement in his bones.
"That's the beauty of it. Such great timing, quick, but not suspiciously quick. The effects should start off like the flu: Sneezing, coughing and a runny nose. However that will soon escalate, in another 24 hours, to yellowing of the skin, severe fever and trouble in breathing. After that she will fall into a coma and shortly after she will have the embrace from our friend death. So the death of her will probably take around 48-56 hours, perhaps more, but that is doubtful. Ah yes and there are no cures!" He said, finishing off with a slight chuckled. Ron Ku' replied by taking out the vial and smiling at it.
"With this... Cantarella, I will plunder Lacayia into the ground without getting my hands even slightly dirty. It is so much easier than impaling her with the end of my rapier. If I did that I would end up dead myself!"
