Can't Post Status Updates

Once upon a time, in a galaxy far far away, I could post an update after 24 hours and ten posts. Now that I'm back on a new account, and over both, I can't post statuses. Sometimes the status bar will appear, but as soon as I click it, it redirects me to my profile. 


Could someone explain why this is?

Sometimes the bar you click to type in is a little glitchy.  We haven't tracked down why, yet.  You should be able to post a status update from your profile still, though.

Thanks! That seemed to fix it. I'm surprised that it comes auto-off though.
