Appearance: Haruhi is a short girl only standing at 5'1" with brown hair and creamy chocolate brown eyes. She has glasses but wears contacts that the Host Club provided her. She keeps her hair short and neat, thanks to Hikaru's and Kaoru's talent in hair styling. She's a skinny girl not having a lot of muscle on her which allows her to come off as being a boy. Haruhi is not what one would call tanned by she's not pale either. She's more in the middle. She has a charming smile that she uses when doing her host duties. When not in her uniform she wears lose baggy clothing. She doesn't like to wear clothing that she feels is confining. She does wear dresses but most of the time she is seen in comfortable t-shirts and shorts.

Personality: Haruhi is a straightforward type of girl who doesn't believe that gender should define one's decisions. Having been raised under less affluent conditions than other students at Ouran she us a more practical and responsible type of person. She is not easily swayed by the charms of the hosts even when she first met them, only showing signs of being nervous. which is why she was nervous rather then being instantly infatuated by them.Haruhi has a deeper voice than most girls, keeps her hair short, and wears androgynous clothing which makes it really hard to tell that she is in fact a girl.
Although she is unflappable under normal circumstances, she suffers from Brontophobia (fear of thunder) to thensure point of paralysis. Apart from this she has a peaceful nature, but will get angry at Tamaki's antics. She is extremely hard working and refuses to shirk any of her duties. She is absolutely crazy about gourmet foods especially Ootoro (Fancy Tuna). It is often used to bribe her into doing some of the clubs crazier schemes.
However, when not being bribed she is rather apathetic when it comes to making decisions and about the club itself. She is rather oblivious towards her own emotions, an example of this is her unawareness of her developing feelings for Tamaki over the school years.
Upon becoming a host she was an immediate hit with the customers due to her conversational skills and her charming smiles. This earner her the "Natural Type". Though she gets exasperated with her fellow host members, she cares for them deeply in her own way.

History: Haruhi was born on February 4 and is the daughter of Ryoji "Ranka" Fujioka and Kotoko Fujioka. It was a happy household for several years until Kotoko passed when Haruhi was just five years old. Ryoji did everything he could to make their now broken family as functional as possible. Unfortunately this meant that he was constantly working just to make ends meet. Haruhi did what she could to help, this included cooking meals for herself and her father.
