my name is candy. i am a 20 year old asian who uses she/her pronouns, and only rps with 18+ adults
the lowercase is for the "aesthetic," and use of lowercase in some of my rps was a stylistic writing choice that was previously discussed with my partners
i wish i could say i have a gender pairing preference, but it really depends on the plot, and the vibe i get from it. overall, i am open to mxm, fxf, and mxf pairings
typically, i will write one main character (sans some exceptions) with a multitude of side characters to flesh out the world
i require eventual romance in my rps. romance is a natural progression, and if your character takes longer to fall, that is perfectly okay
all adult themes are welcome
i prefer rp-ing on-site in public threads, but do not mind going off-site occassionally (my discord tag is aye.candy.) i am also not averse to rp-ing over gdocs
with my current schedule irl, i can only give replies on the weekends, but i stay active ooc!
i prefer moodboards and descriptions over the use of any kind of faceclaims, because i like feeding my imagination. if i get very invested, i will also make playlists for my/our character(s)

i do NOT mirror post-length! i do not require it either. what i DO give and require is: effort, and descriptive writing with enough content to push the scene while also giving the other person enough to build off of
on that note, i also do not write novellas. i think replies on the shorter-side make for an interactive and engaging story. a nice range of 3-ish paragraphs on average (with the quick dialogue parts either being collaborative posts, or or descriptive 200-400 word replies) should be good - (this will be a mxm enemies to lovers rp) i really want to do something with dragon riders, and them being bonded with their dragons, like a dragon is born for that specific person, and the person is born for that specific dragon. dragons mate with their riders' partners, and riders will feel attracted to the rider of the dragon their own dragon is courting
i also want to introduce a "dominance hierarchy" of sorts, similar to the kind in werewolf pack dynamics, with secondary genders. i am interested in making our characters "alphas," who are traditionally expected to either mate with betas, or omegas, but ocs have an uncanny attraction to each other
the plot here is pretty open-ended. i just know i want a historical fantasy rp with ocs being part of some dragon-rider legion - please comment on this thread if you are interested, and i will send you a pm. please also comment if you dm me on discord!

i have recently picked up the my love story with yamada-lun at lv999, and i adore yamada and akane's love. i have lowkey been craving a rp with shoujo-anime influences, and writing a male character like yamada. i would also like a classroom of the elite or akuma to riddle-esque background storyline to keep things interesting (this could also give a chance for my male character to be so swooningly protective of your female character even if she can stand her own ground!)
something like once upon a broken heart would so cool too! the premise of the book is that a princess strikes a deal with "the wicked prince of hearts," to get her beloved—who is being married off to another—to marry her. he asks her for 3 kisses in return, and the story unfolds from there... (i am assuming one of the kisses ends up being in front of the princess' beloved, because he is, well, the WICKED prince of hearts, haha.) to make this more interesting, i would also love to introduce some kind of cupid-princess, so the princess would have two people: one man who wants to cause chaos for his own amusement, and one woman who genuinely wants the princess to get her happily ever after with her beloved (but ends up falling in love with her too! oh no!)
a cool mxf duo who can not stand each other, but are struck by the lightning of the forced-proximity gods in a zombie apocalypse (from the pov of the elite-class [i.e. our characters would be part of the elite class] to give the overdone genre a lil twist.) i just love it when characters who previously loathed each other learn new things about each other with the progression of the story, and end up having begrudging respect that they would rather DIE than admit to
let's go a bit darker. think: stalker x victim feat. the 1996 scream and heathers! a 1990s setting, and two best friends who seem normal at a glance, and they would be too if it was not for the mmc's obsession with the fmc. it seems like the mmc is a sweet, cuddly golden retriever boy who likes teasing his best friend, and even harmlessly flirting with her sometimes. everyone in the entire precinct knows about his crush on the fmc, but are they aware he is the reason her ex-es and admirers keep disappearing? after all, if he can’t have her then no one can. (image inspo). if you are into supernatural elements, i would also be super open into writing a mmc who is extra sensitive to the smell of fmc's blood
i love a good cliche fantasy setting, and i love taboo themes, so hear me out: a royal fantasy with the main pairing being the princess x her stepbrother. imagine the pining! the guilt! (i want to switch things up, and write the female character here. i already have a lot of fun concepts planned for her.) magic, deities, prophecies, curses, enchanted weapons and artefacts, etc are expected to be a part of the plot
i adore the entire sci-fi genre, and i love combining it with dystopias, so here is an idea: body/soul snatchers. let us say there is a woman who was in love with a man, and was planning on confessing. let us also say she was a prominent and powerful figure. however, the man she was going to confess to, had his soul snatched and replaced with someone who could cause mass amounts of chaos and destruction if he got hold of the information only the woman had. sprinkle in some aliens and area 51 conspiraces in here, too?!
another plot i do not know what to do with, and just have vibes for: something inspired by the indie horror game "iron lung," or the titan submarine would be awesome. i have just really been wanting to write an underwater sci-fi rp (with potential horror elements, though it is not required.) i am not sure what our characters could be: researchers who can not stand each other and one of them contracts some kind of underwater mermaid-ish virus? convicts bolted into a submarine that is lowered into a blood ocean on an alien planet? this is very open-ended
two high school students who can not stand each other on-campus have secret superhero identities. they are also the only two superheroes in their town/city, which means a run-in (and maybe even eventual partnership) is inevitable. this is, on a surface-level, meant to be a silly goofy plot with a love-square like miraculous, because i need some fun and light-heartedness in my life right now
this will be either a mxf or fxf plot!
i recently watched blade runner 2049, and oh man, it sent me into a depressive episode (translation: it was so good.) more than an action movie, it was a movie about love and the pain that comes with it. luv's character was so interesting to me, and her last time, "i am the best one!" just gave me goosebumps. i do not have much of a plot for this, i just know i want to write characters who have been broken by the system, turned into emotionless, angry monsters meant to carry out orders. but still, they desire love. the part of them that is repulsed by the idea of companionship and intimacy is the same part that craves it so desperately. this will also be a mxf plot btw
2.the second scenario is a more modern take: a regina x cady type dynamic. with muse a as the popular mean girl, and muse b being the pretty new girl immediately taken under her wing as a means of "keep your friends close, but enemies closer"
i just love complicated sibling relationships that just AGONISE both the reader and the characters. so, something taboo inspired by that kind of (pseudo)incest dynamic? with two sisters (half-sisters, adopted sisters, whatever my partner is comfortable with) potentially in a dystopian/(post-)apocalyptic setting where cannibalistic monsters roam the earth. featuring powers and magic? i just have this really sexy, emotionally constipated, angry black-haired female character, and need to make her suffer emotionally. and i feel like the only person who could make her suffer the way i want is another sapphic (who just so happens to be her sister. oopsie)
recently, i have also seen a lot of miguel x gwen fanart, and it has made me really really want to do a taboo age gap ship. throw in a lot of daddy issues, a lot of internalised guilt that is eating away at the "miguel" character. maybe this can be a corruption story of sorts? the "miguel" character introducing the "gwen" character to a new, depraved world, and in the end, she is the villain he has to deal with? and atop all the "i should not be feeling this way for someone half my age," there is also the guilt of "i created this monster." i am not sure what setting this would be... maybe cyberpunk? or a futuristic version of the girl with the dragon tattoo. a modern cult or gritty dangerous neighbourhood "i saved you from the wrong crowd, but little did you know i was worse" type scenario
(mxf) i saw this reel, and now i really want a rp where someone's favourite character comes to life, and oh it is just perfect (except it is not) feat. "everything is not what it seems," and the horror/thriller/slasher genre. i love corruption of character and morality, so maybe a bit of that, too ? uwu
(mxm) this is completely based off vibes, but i saw this artwork (photo #3 specifically) on twitter, and now my brain is just a can of worms going uguggugiskdjs. i would LOVE something inspired by this. fiery characters. maybe... some apocalypse? maybe foreigner x native (like in princess mononoke)
(fxf) i really want to do something with the lesbian comphet experience, and women who are suffering with internalised misogyny. maybe something in a dune-like setting or set in bygone era of ancient empires or feudal realms with two characters who are part of the king's harem of concubines. muse a is the chief consort, and the king's favourite. muse b is the newest addition to the harem, and an immediate threat to muse a's position (humanoid, but still non-human characters are very welcome here! even encouraged)
(fxf) i also REALLY like the idea of a mulan/she who became the sun-like scenario with a woman who cross-dresses to survive, and an unwitting woman who gets involved with her. since i have been reading swbts, i really want it to be set in ancient china, or some kind of feudal fantasy setting. this is very open-ended, so if you are interested in expanding on this with me, please do reach out!
