MORNINGBreakfast at Hogwarts...ScrollSun shone through the edges of gray clouds, it looked like it might rain but that's just the usual for Hogwarts and by extension Europe. Inside the halls were more chaotic than the cold September outdoors, with new students figuring out how they fit into the overarching hierarchy, teachers finalizing lesson plans and getting ready for their own first day, and everyone else getting ready for homework and the first classes of the day.
Everyone had finally gotten to the breakfast table, some already finished with their food and doing other things, talking, reading, thinking, but some of the more lazy students finally have just scrambled in, only 15 minutes to spare for breakfast and the walk to their class. Most of which would be spent shoving their food in their faces and scrambling not to be late. Some were looking over their schedules, which they had gotten the morning after the great feast, and figuring out, just which class they had this year, and where they were exactly.
Really, It was an average first day back all things considered, though once again in the news another odd death had occurred— Thankfully it wasn't a relative of someone from Hogwarts— Who had died in an early similar way to the killing curse, though no spell residue was found at the site. The teachers looked over the students from their spot at the high table, trouble was common on the first day of classes, so most were on high alert, even when they were eating their own breakfast.
Sounds bustled through each table, red, yellow, blue, and green. Some colors were mixed in with other tables of course— It was only the great feast and the Halloween feast that made students sit with their own house— This was neither of those feasts so it was a common fact that friends sat with each other.
