No, sorry. The rule is in place to keep people from messing with the site as using HTML can damage the whole site layout and all that stuff. So the rule keeps trolls from messing with it.

Just a little FYI, your content count isn't just posts, it is also gallery images and status updates I believe. You'll hit 500 in no time if you're actively interacting. Also, as @IctoraPost mentioned, you can go to google docs and format your posts there and copy/paste them over here. However some things will be lost such as special fonts.

Content count does not include status updates. Not sure about gallery images, but I don't think those count either.
Also there are a lot of options available in the editor even without HTML. The only thing I really miss from BBcode is tabs, I used the heck out of those things.

Gallery images do count, surprisingly. And you could always use HTML tabs.

Yup, I found this out when I uploaded some images and went "wait, my content count went up? intereesssttinnnggg."
Gallery does for sure, but status updates I was unsure about as I never bothered to check if it went up after a post. But for sure content goes up with gallery uploads. I just assumed content covered all content after that.
