Yes. You don't need to keep the same hearthstone in the same slot all the time. A group of people attuned to a manse can trade it around if needed, though certain Hearthstones have specific limitations on such. The Stone of Healer's Flower can be traded around, for example, but if it's used to heal someone of the damage it caused when they healed someone else...like any other healing magic used to heal that damage, that character so healed can never again use the hearthstone. However, that's a specific hearthstone's limitation, and not normal.
Most Hearthstones can be passed around if there's a need, and people are all attuned to the manse, and have hearthstone sockets to put it in. Or even if they don't, and you just need someone to get motes back quicker and it's the best or only stone you have in the group. Of course, most people are going to be a bit less likely to pass around Hearthstones they paid for than those found in game, since the one is theirs in many players minds. Generally, someone using a hearthstone for their Dragon Armor, Celestial Battle Armor or War Strider, or Skyship are unlikely to leave such in them when not using them directly, and slot them in something else so they can actually use their powers as more than just a battery, as well.
