Realistic or Modern Camp Straight

Psychedelia

Lonely Stoner

Role Play Rating:

  • M - Mature (17+)

Role Play Status:

Closed - Not Accepting

For one reason or another, a group of adolescents have been sent to a 'refuge camp' in order to save themselves from their sexual urges and sin; or so they claim. This particular group of teenagers were sent, by family members or even by their own desire, to a straight camp in order to try to change something that just can not be changed.

In other words, this role play will basically be about said teenagers trying to deal with living with strict rules, little contact with the outside world, and only seeing their loved ones once a week. I guess we'll just have to wait and see who manages to graduate as a 'redeemed' heterosexual and who, if anyone, bails out before the end.

The living room is equipped with two leather couches, a matching love-seat, two matching chairs, a large flat-screen television, and a coffee table. The dining room opens up into the kitchen and has a large table in the center with eight chairs surrounding it. There are four bedrooms with two beds per room and a single bathroom attached for shared use. In another room, commonly referred to as the game room, there is a system for video games as well as a pool table, a foosball table, and a few chairs.

Arabella arrived at the camp at exactly eight o'clock in the morning on Saturday. Though there was no specific time set for her to arrive, her parents were dead set on getting her up and going as early as possible. Without saying a word, Arabella opened the door, grabbed her things, and got out of the car. Her parents said nothing, though, her mother did shed a few tears. Of course Arabella would miss her parents but there was nothing left to say. Telling them she loved them was out of the question because not hearing it echoed back to her would only break her heart once more.

Wandering towards the smaller cabin, which she presumed to be the counselor's, Arabella knocked lightly on the door upon arrival. Hearing a squeal from inside, Arabella took a gentle step backwards and looked at the door with a puzzled look upon her face. As soon as the door opened, she was ready to turn and run.

"Good morning! I'm the head counselor here at camp! My name is Mrs. Priscilla Xander, but you can call me Mrs. X if you must." Arabella stared at the woman awkwardly, not saying a word. "...It's proper to introduce yourself, you know?" Priscilla continued, growing a bit annoyed. Arabella nodded in understanding, "I'm AJ Wyn. My parents sent me here," she replied. "AJ certainly can't be your real name... You must be Arabella," Priscilla returned promptly but, with no response once more, she continued on, "Well, 'AJ', I'll show you to your room and you can get settled in before the other campers arrive!" Priscilla began in the direction of the main cabin and gestured for Arabella to follow.

Minutes later, Arabella was alone in the large cabin in her room. Priscilla had showed her the place not so thoroughly but enough for Arabella to get the gist. Now midway through packing, she thought about the paper she saw outside the door. Arabella stopped packing and wandered outside the door to take a look once more.

Room 2 Elliot Hollenwood & Arabella Wyn

Staring at the paper for awhile, she quickly realized she was roomed with a male. Though she didn't think this was right to do, she quickly brushed the thoughts off of why this was. Arabella rolled her eyes in annoyance before returning to the room and finishing unpacking. Several minutes later, she was laying on her new bed and staring up at the ceiling. Arabella reached into her pocket to pull out her phone and listen to some music but quickly remembered they were not allowed cellphones here. Cursing slightly, she settled for closing her eyes and waiting to hear other people arrive. Not that she was going to be greeting anyone soon, but it would be nice to have some other people to look at besides to plain walls or the back of her eyelids.

Peter stood, alone, outside of the counselor's cabin. He held his suitcase in one hand and his Bible in the other. His heart was beating fast and hard. He was terrified. What if this doesn't work? What if I'm damned? What if I'm cured? What if, what if, what if!?!

The questions stopped when the counselor stepped out and kindly showed him where his cabin would be. He walked up to his cabin and read the notice that displayed the names of the occupants of the cabin. Only two, himself and a boy named Taylor Grey. That's strange, not many boys named Taylor. I hope he's nice. Peter had dealt with enough bullies in middle school and did not wish to be subject to any more torment than he currently put himself through.

He walked into the cabin and quietly put away his clothes. He placed a crucifix above his headboard and kneeled before his bed and began to pray.

Tay was many things -- a free spirit, a lover, an occasional b*tch -- but there was one thing she knew that she wasn't for sure, and that was straight. No bible-humping camp could change the fact that Taylor Grey was a full-on, one-hundred-perfect, bean-flicking lady lover. She'd been that way since birth, and no matter how "out of control" her parents said she was, Tay refused to change her identity for their sake, or anybody else's.

So why was she here? In addition to her lick-heavy infatuation with the fairer sex, Taylor was also a college student. She had nearly finished her freshman year at UCLA when "The Incident" had occurred. What was "The Incident", exactly? It all started at the beginning of second semester, when she began to take Human Sexuality in the class of the very young, very
hot Professor Kessler. It just so happened that Tay and her professor had more in common than their love for knowledge on proper stimulation, and a few meaningful glances throughout class soon enough launched into a full-on illicit affair. The only problem? Kessler was married -- to the dean.

You can guess the rest. Dean Kessler found out that Tay was nailing his wife, and her parents were notified immediately. They pulled her out of school and dragged her ass home faster than you could say "anatomy". For weeks, they wouldn't even utter a word to her. Tay had been out-and-proud since she was fourteen, but her parents had pretty much brushed her sexual preference under the rug. It hadn't been an issue until now, but suddenly every seemed to be wrong with the fact that she was a lesbian. Surprisingly enough, Dean Kessler had gotten in contact about a month later. The poor bastard was too embarrassed to expel a student for such a scandalous reason, so he said that he'd be willing to approve a transfer to USC for the fall as long as she attended a "special program".

So here she was, standing on the immaculately manicured grounds of what she had taken to calling "Camp Straight". The place looked like something out of a storybook -- except for the fact that it was her worst nightmare. She was being lead to a large cabin by a woman named Priscilla who had the voice of Effie Trinket from The Hunger Games and walked like she was holier-than-thou. Tay had already nicknamed her "Prissy" in her mind.

The two very different women reached the cabin and Prissy left Tay to fend for herself. She walked through the wooden box and looked for her name on one of the four doors. As she passed room 2, she got a peep of a girl who seemed to be the only other person there. She was laying on the bed and looking at the ceiling, and Tay could help but notice that her shirt had crawled up just the slightest bit to reveal a sliver of milky-white tummy. Yep, she was definitely still as gay as a window.

She resisted the urge to turn on the charm as she continued on her way, until she reached room three. There was a sign on the door that read her name accompanied by the name of somebody named Peter Nickelson. A boy. Tay didn't have any problems with males, but if Prissy and the Camp Straight crew thought that rooming her with a guy would make her hetero as hell, they had another thing coming. Man, some people were so warped.

Tay took a deep breath and opened the door to the room only to be greeted with the sight of a praying guy. So Peter was a gay Jesus Freak? Now that would be interesting. "Hey, sorry to interrupt," Tay said with a hasty smile, "You must be Peter, right? Well, I'm Tay. Don't let me stop you from, y'unno, doing your thing." With that, she dropped her bags near the unoccupied bed and began to move in.

Peter was startled from his praying by the door opening. He jumped to his feet and turned to see a girl with a shock of red-blonde hair. She seemed as confused as he was for a second before she smiled quickly and said "Hey, sorry to interrupt, you must be Peter, right? Well, I'm Tay. Don't let me stop you from, y'unno, doing your thing." Well, that's polite of her...WHAT?!

"I'm sorry, Tay? As in Taylor? You're a...a girl? But, I, there has to be a mistake here." Peter flushed and began to breath heavily. Why would they do this? This goes against so many moral lines. Peter quickly sat down on the bed and put a hand over his chest. He feared an asthma attack may be coming on.

LUX VIKTORIA CHASE

"If you think this Camp Straight thing is going to stop making me feel what I feel for Ana, then you're completely mistaken." Lux said, as she sat in the back of her mother's 2014 Jeep Compass, listening to her mother, Sophia, discuss how the camp would help her with the "phase" she was going through. Lux couldn't believe her mother's hypocritical ways mainly because there was a time when her mother had a wife named Cara and they raised Lux together. Now that Sophia and Cara had divorced, with Sophia getting custody over Lux, she was now married to man named Ethan who although had no problems with Lux's relationship with her ex-girlfriend Ana, would never speak out against Sophia.

This is f*cking crazy, Lux thought to herself then looked down at her phone, smiling at the text Ana sent her, telling her how much she loved her, God, I miss her. "And I'll take that!" Lux heard her mother say, as her phone was snatched out of her hands. "What the hell are you doing?" She responded, not caring if she was being disrespectful or not. "Watch your mouth, Lux Viktoria Chase! I'm taking this phone away because first, it connects you to that girl and second, you can't have one while you're here." Lux simply rolled her eyes then looked out of the window, realizing they had arrived. She could see people going into cabins and she sighed.

Suddenly, the car door where she was seated opened and there was a woman standing there with a huge smile on her face.
Oh hell no, Lux thought. "Ethan," Lux said, causing her step-dad to turn around in the passenger seat he was sitting in, "You know, just like I know, that this is mad. You guys can't just leave me here, without no connection to the outside world! There is nothing wrong with me liking girls! Just like it was nothing wrong with mom loving Cara!" Lux heard her mother scoff and shake her head before getting out of the car and coming beside the woman who had opened the door. "Get out of the car, Lux," Sophia said, "Or I'll drag you out." Lux looked at her mother as if she was crazy but didn't dare tempt her. She got out of the car and slammed the door behind her.

The car trunk suddenly popped up and Sophia took out Lux's suitcases and gave them to her before closing the car trunk back and getting back in the car then speeding off. "Hi!" The woman said, causing Lux's brows to furrow at her annoying voice, "If you will just follow me, I can take you to your room," The woman began walking and Lux reluctantly followed behind her, suitcases in hand, "By the way, I am Mrs. Priscilla Xander. Feel free to call me Mrs. X, if you'd prefer to." Lux scoffed in response and continued to follow Priscilla, not saying a word. Once they reached a cabin door, Lux looked at the door and on it, it read
"Lux Chase & Leon Smith."

Priscilla made her way inside the cabin and Lux followed closely behind, hoping it, at least, had a comfortable bed to sleep on at night. Immediately sitting on one of the two beds inside of the cabin, Lux's hopes were confirmed.
At least there's one thing to be happy about here, she thought to herself. "I see you're enjoying yourself, Ms. Chase. Your cabin mate should be here in no time. In the meanwhile, get accustomed to the camp as well as the cabin."

With that, Lux watched as Priscilla walked out of the cabin, causing Lux to sigh with relief.
Finally, Lux thought to herself, one more minute with that voice will literally kill me. Lux surveyed the cabin and then began unpacking her clothes into one of the two dressers in the cabin. She looked over at the other bed, hoping this Leon guy was a nice guy. Although she didn't welcome drama, she knew she would have to deal with it, if or when it does come.

Olive was standing by the front door with her bag, waiting for her brother to drive her to Camp Straight. Even though it was her parents who made the decision to send her, her brother wanted her gone after what had happened between his girlfriend and Olive. He was grumbling to himself as he came down the stairs, but when Olive looked at him she knew he was overjoyed to be the one to "send her off". Most of the way there Olive looked out the window, I wonder what this place will be like, she thought to herself. I don't see what's so bad about it, it's not like I murdered someone and need to serve time. At the end of her thought the car stopped, and without a word to her brother-which was completely normal for Olive-she walked towards the building that she would be staying in. She read through the brochure while the family was yelling and choosing her fate.

It didn't take long to get to the door from where she was, and when she opened it a woman stepped out. "Oh, hello, I didn't see you there." the woman introduced herself to Olive, "Welcome! I am Mrs. Priscilla Xander, or Mrs. X, I am your head counselor! Have you seen your room yet?" Olive shook her head slightly and spoke "I haven't, I'm Olive." She shook Mrs. X's hand and was swept into the building with her, "Yep, room one, here you are. Go ahead and unpack if you like, a few other campers are already here if you'd like to get acquainted." Olive nodded, and just like that Mrs. X went somewhere else. Setting her duffle bag on top of one dresser, Olive started to unpack. Well, this should be interesting.

Elliot slinked down the hallway of the large cabin. His backpack swung on his shoulder, its cover filled with buttons from the various places he'd been in his time of homelessness. His mother's church had made one thing clear: Make it through this program, and they'll pay his tuition for college. A very shady move, yes. But, they said nothing about the boy having to actually continue being straight after everything was said and done.

So Eli was gonna fool the very people who had tried to dupe him. Tough Luck to everyone that was involved. Because, if there was one thing that he was completely sure about to the core of his soul, it was the fact that he loved men. He loved the rigidness of their bodies, the solidness of their shoulders--hell, he loved the way they'd feel against his body in the heat of the moment.

Elliot got to his room, No. 2. He could tell by the not so subtle cardstock paper on the door, next to a suspiciously female sounding name. Knocking on the door, he stepped into the room and placed his backpack on the floor. A loud thud echoed through the musty cabin building with dust rising up into the air. He smirked and approached the girl standing faced in the opposite direction. "Hey, so what are you in for?" he asked with a wagging of his brow. The 19 year old knew how to work a crowd, even if it was with such a corny line as that one.

Upset with his family sending him off to this camp. He had one goal and it is to get kicked out fast. Jake got in the car and blasted his most crass NOFX CD just to upset his aunt. "Will you turn that satanic music off?" she warned. "Can I not go to camp" he knew she'd win the battle but she'd let him enjoy his music. Once there he got out and sighed letting his aunt talk he looked at his paper with his room number he walked away.

He just barged in chucking his stuff down and looking around. "So?" he asked his roomate.

Peter was extremely uncomfortable. He hated to be rude but he had to leave the room.

"I'm really sorry about this, it was really nice to meet you. I've gotta go."

He grabbed his backpack with his inhaler and left the cabin. Outside, he looked around to observe the beauty of nature, and also to find a quiet, solitary place that he could be alone. He knew there was a lake nearby and since it was the first day he was sure that no one else would be there. He walked past the other cabins, seeing some of the other campers as they settled in, some had their roommates and some were still alone.

Peter walked quickly past, hoping not to draw any attention to himself. He walked through the forest following a path that he was pretty sure led to the lake. He never really liked nature that much, it was always just a hot and humid nuisance to him. Finally he made it to the lake and gasped at the beauty of it. It was silent but for the sound of the water falling. He slowly walked to the lakeshore, mouth still open as he turned his head around to view all of the sights that surrounded him. Peter quietly sat down on the sand and closed his eyes, turning his face up towards the sun.

((Sorry for the wait))

Leon Smith

The cab arrived and Leon had to be dragged out by his father. He looked at him with disgust and treated him as if he had a contagious disease. "You'll be better off here so they can get those foolish things off of your head. Theater and makeup, NONSENSE! You'll learn to be a man." Leon looked at the camp with the best straight face money could buy. He wasn't at all pleased with this. They wanted to send him off and change who he was as if he had some sort of reset button and they could program him as pleased. Leon wasn't a computer.

Although his mother had been a bit more supportive than his father had been, she still looked at him with disappointed eyes and didn't protest when his father decided to ship him off to God knows where. Leon grabbed one of his bags and quietly made his way to the cabin front. He didn't want to be here anymore than the next kid. His father nodded him goodbye without a single word. Leon knew that his father hated him for what he was and not even being here would change that.

He headed over to his assigned room,No. 4, and gave a small smirk when he saw that he was rooming with a girl. Usually places don't support co-ed rooming, but it seems like in this camp it was "safer" to room co-ed then it was to room with the same sex partner. He mad his way down to the room and smiled at all of the attractive men he was seeing. This camp would sure be something. Maybe being here wouldn't be so bad.

Leon entered his room and noticed his roommate had already arrived. "Hey. You must be Lux. I'm Leon. Nice to meet you." His tone of voice didn't have his usual perkiness, but you could tell he was trying to be nice. Had it been any other situation, Leon would be jumping up and down on the subject of staying up late doing facial masks and getting manicures, but after the tense silence with his father, Leon was in no mood for small talk. He was almost sure everyone here felt the same. There was something in the atmosphere that made this feel like boot camp, but he could be wrong. Leon began to unpack his stuff.

Arabella sighed softly. As loud as she played her music, she could still hear people wandering around outside the room. She always hated how obnoxiously loud some people sounded when they moved around. Taking her ear buds out, AJ slid them under her pillow and stuck her phone in her pocket as she made her way towards the doorway. She could hear Mrs. X continuing on downstairs about having everyone settle in and talk for a little while before they all headed out to the woods for the afternoon but she didn't listen too closely. The entire speech just came out as gibberish and annoying repetition of their rules.

zxwj7m.gif

AJ glanced anxiously down the hall both ways then back in her room to notice her roommate had arrived. Slightly startled, she walked back over to her bed and sat down. "I'm sorry, I really didn't hear you come in... You must be Elliot," she smiled softly. In all honesty, she had heard him come into the room and say something to her but she chose to ignore it for the time being. She really didn't want to be here and music was the only thing that was going to soothe her right now aside from maybe the presence of a girl. Arabella couldn't help but clench her fists slightly at the thought that she would be staying in a room with a guy for her trip here and nobody even thought twice about it.

Then, she began thinking about the other girls here who, conveniently enough, were also into women. Arabella held back a slight smirk at the thought which quickly shattered. She swallowed hard almost trying to remove the new image from her thoughts. This had become a problem. Thinking about her ex girlfriend so much was unhealthy and she wished she could be released somehow from this. Of course, no camp of this sort would fix such a problem but now she began thinking another girl might. Of course, it couldn't be that hard to get a girl here... Then again, even if you managed that, you would have to keep the relationship very, very limited and pretend to be straight just to get out and maybe end up with them outside of camp.

Elliot sensed the upset nature of the the girl, mostly due to he red eyes. He put his hands up and offered her a smile. "And you must be Arb..ray...." He tried pronouncing her name, but it hadn't worked out, thanks to a subtle speech impediment. "Screw it, I'm calling you A.J." he sighed, dropping his bag on the bunk with blue bedding. He would have preferred the one in pink, just to make the director's blood simmer, but he had to be a good boy.

"You look like you need some time alone, so I'm gonna look around. Maybe we can chat it up later, braid each other's hair and all that crap." Eli thought about how hard it must have been for her. Sure, his situation was cruddy but at least he was as impenetrable as titanium. He leaned forward and gave the stranger girl a hug. "Don't let what they say define who you are." He whispered in her ear before letting go and skipping out of the room.

---

Whilst exploring the grounds around the cabin, Elliot managed to get himself lost in all the shrubbery. Amidst a stream of vulgar swearing, he stumbled out of the treeline and found himself near a lake. "Hell yeah!" He exclaimed, quickly stripping down to his underwear, skillfully crafted by Calvin Kline. He may have been a homeless guy, but he still had style--and clothing stores still threw out crap in his size. He stretched, letting the sun hit his well toned body from behind. He wasn't expecting to actually have a little fun out here. So, in all his excitement, he never noticed the boy out near the water.

So it was no surprise when he tripped over him and fell, face first, in the dirt.

Peter had been enjoying his time of solitude. The sound of the water was soothing and it melted away all of Peter's troubles.

Then he heard a rustle in the bushes. At first Peter was scared that it might be a bear or wolf but it turned out to just be some guy. He didn't seem to notice Peter but seemed excited to have found the lake. Peter shook his head, then the guy started taking off his clothes. Peter felt his throat close up and his heart started racing. The guy had one of the best bodies he'd ever seen, Peter was blushing like mad and he felt a little dizzy, this is the feeling he despised most and was why he wanted to be here, to get rid of his feeling.

Suddenly the guy started running towards Peter, without time to think the guy toppled over Peter and fell face first into the sand. Peter couldn't help it, he started laughing, loudly.

The next few minutes were spent with Eli spitting out sand and the sound of laughing coming from the person who he'd tripped over. "Hey! What makes you think you can--" He'd wanted to continue, calling the guy a pig and telling him how little he should be thought of. But all of that became mush when his eyes met the greenest color he could ever imagine. Framed by a crop of dark brown hair and the creamiest skin, Eli found himself oggling the stranger. "Crap! Um, hi..." He trailed off, scratching his head very nervously.

"Sorry about tripping over you. I'm Elliot Hollenwood, room 1. Wait, are you at the camp? Of course you are, there is no way you couldn't be...unless you live in the woods and murder people, which you couldn't possibly... Am I talking too much?" Eli asked, his cheeks reddening.

Peter laughed, he had never met anyone so...over the top before. The blushing did not go unnoticed either, which made Peter blush harder.

"Haha, you're fine. Ummm, no, I'm not a murderer, yes I'm at the camp, and my name's Peter," Peter gasped, "and I've totally forgotten what room I'm in." He placed his face in his hands. "And how to get back to camp."

Eli thought about it and decided that they had to be unnoticed at least for the next fifteen minutes. While it wasn't long enough for what he wanted to do to the guy, he would take it and run--literally. Not that he didn't do well with relationships. They didn't do well with him.

"Have you forgotten how to swim?" He asked, pulling at the hem of Peter's shirt. Sure, it was a pretty bold move--ballsy even. But, Eli really wanted to taste those lips at least once. And what better way to get someone to make out than to get them naked...or at least as close as possible?

Peter started stuttering, he couldn't help it, it always started whenever he became scared or confused.

"I-I-I...no, I, uh, know how to swim. I-it's just, um, summer just started, I'm sure the water is too cold."

Peter quickly grabbed his shirt back from Elliot's hands and held his shirt down by the hem. He looked at Elliot and couldn't help getting lost in his eyes, Peter was getting more and more flustered and he also noticed that he was unconsciously moving closer to Elliot.
