Logan and the others were about 20 miles away from Camp safe and sound for the most part. "Okay so what's our next move I personally think it would be better to find some more campers join up with them",Logan suggested to the rest of the group.

Drake looked up when logan spoke,"I don't know I haven't been to many places in new york and plus I can't walk much further"
 
Tsubaki still held on tightly to Joe's hand, not even realizing she was still holding it. "Finding the others is a good idea, we need to regroup, don't we?" She inputted. Finding the others would be the best thing to do in this type of situation. "Actually...." The more she began thinking about it, the more she began deciding against it. "Scratch that, we shouldn't regroup. Maybe look for the others and see if they're okay, but in no way do we need a large group. Demigods have a certain smell that attracts monsters, the more of us together, the stronger the scent and the more the chaos. If we remain in smaller groups, we'll have less trouble with monsters. However, because we do have less people...we can also be seen as easy targets. So it's really up to you guys. Joe, do you have any input?"

"Yeah you got a point there Tsubaki but right now I think we should rest I don't think Drake can hold out much longer. Remember he doesn't have as much stamina as we do and besides it might be better for us to think of a plan when we are fully energized. Also we not in any condition to fight off another monster attack",Logan told Tsubaki.

When your body is in fight or flight response mode your sense of time goes right out the window. Matt could have benn running for three miles or hell even three minutes. The latter of those two times seemed more likely as he was brought out of his stupor by the call of another. Reacting he quickly swiveled on the spot his weapon in in hand and body in a loose fighting stance, if that's what you would call his drained form.


" Wait...your not one of the...huff.. monsters", his raspy and dry throated voice managed to get out as he wearily gazed at the woman. He knew who Skylar was, but the pain was all his brain could focus on.

Tsubaki

She listened to Logan's statement, finding it to be rather truthful. Drake looked about beat...and not to mention Sam probably couldn't hold up any longer. "Yeah, I agree." She turned to Samatha, "Hey, you holding up okay?" Seeing how the girl was the youngest in the group, it might be best to make sure she was alright. However, her main concern was for her newly found friend Joanna. Even though they barely knew eachother, she could already feel a strong bond forming. But seeing how Sam was like a little sister, her health also came first.

Skylar


Eyes widened as she watched the male, not too sure what to expect from him. "O-Of course I'm not a monster..." She muttered under her breath. Something was a bit wrong with the guy. Could he be severely injured? "A-are you okay? You don't look so good?" Her voice held a sense of concern as she watch the guy's action. Knowing something had to be done, she reached into her purse and pulled out some ambrosia. "Here, you look like you need it more than me." @Genma
 

Sam

"I'm okay," Sam replied quietly. She rummaged through her satchel, nervously finding a few gears to fiddle with as she tried to help think of a plan. She was the youngest, the baby of the group. But that was no excuse to show weakness. Even if she was terrified and exhausted. Lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed the spider-like robotic creature she'd made. It gave her an idea. "What if we send, like...a drone forward? To scope out the area, or maybe we can locate the other groups by installing a GPS and sending it to find them?" she suggested.

Once hearing that Sam was alright, it helped Tsuabki relax just a bit more. Now only if Joanna would let her know how she was holding up. Sam's voice soon grabbed her attention once more. Her head slightly tilted as she listened to the suggestions they were given. Send a drone forward? That actually wasn't a bad idea. "You know, that could work. Finding the other groups, that is." She admitted with a nod. That's when she noticed the mist behind Logan showing the faces of Quin and her group. "Logan, you have a call?" Her finger pointed to the Iris message being shown.

Logan looked confused at first when Tsubaki said he had a call.Then he realized it was a iris message so he turned towards the iris message that was behind him. Which revealed as Quinn who messaged him"Hey Quinn glad you made it out could you tell us where you are we could meet up",Logan asked Quinn through the iris message.

Quinn nods. "Yeah, hey Logan and co. We're in New York, I think... Kaia can you check vhat street ve are on?" She asked the girl next to her, her french accent kicking in. "I shadow traveled us to the closest city I could think off... Vhere are you guys?"

Still on edge with what everything was going on Matt had no idea what to do. His mind to him he could trust the girl Skylar and accept the offer of ambrosia. Though his instincts were screaming to trust no one and find help from his father some how. All bets were off with the camp being destroyed and the contract he had with Horkos was now null and void. What a thought, he pondered to himself at his current situation.


" Skylar...are you the only one to make it out", he questioned to her while slowy reaching out to take her offer?


Little did they both know he had reached his breaking point. His bodies adrenaline had ran out and the will that was left had just broken. For Matt everything faded to darkness and he lost consciousness. His body falling forward as he was reaching for the gift from the girl. What a twist of fate.

Quinn looks towards Kosmo and Kaia then back at him. "...I think I could shadow travel to you guys and back here.. But I'll definitely be weak if we encounter monsters... Kosmo do you mind if I borrow one of your golems? So that way I can shadow travel back to your location." She said while looking towards the boy in question.

"Omg, i think i have to throw up...No, no i'm good!" she said and smiled at Tsubaki. "That is some power you and logan have there!" she exclaimed and hugged Tsubaki, she didn't want to let go of her again, she felt a really strong connection with this girl, and she just couldn't deny the chemestry between them. She did not want to let go of her, so she joked a bit about the long hug. "Did you know, it takes ten seconds of hugging to make the brain send out endorfines, I think this is what we need right now don't you?" she laughed, but burried her face in Tsubaki's shoulder to hide her quivering lip, as she thought of the fact that her father had been in camp as well as the monsters attacked. And even though she didn't like him ,and vice versa, he was still her only living relative!


(Sorry for neglecting her a bit, but she is back now)

Kosmo raised an eyebrow. "Sure." He agreed after a moment. "Although I do have to warn you they're highly feisty, and will not hesitate to jab you with their sword needle things. But I might have one that might not annoy you as much as the others." He took a deep breath before calling out the next part.


"Happiness? Which pocket did I put you in, little buddy?" He asked his pants. A pocket near his knee began to squirm and wriggle, and he bent to get the small metal being from the pocket. He held it up. "This is Happiness." He told Quinn. "He's the least violent one besides Peace, who I left back at the camp with the note... Anyways, will he work?"
 

Sam


Sam continued to work on the little spider-like drone, not even paying attention to see if it was needed. She just sat on the floor with some parts and a screwdriver in her mouth, examining the machine. She looked up at the group for a minute, doing a double take at the iris message going on. She stared, not sure whether to join the conversation or just stay quiet, but was interrupted when the drone's metal pincers clamped down on her finger. She yelped, dropping the drone and watching it scurry away. She frowned, reaching into her satchel for a bandage. She looked up at the iris message to see a guy holding--


"Whoa, is that a golem? That's so cool!" she exclaimed, jumping up to see it closer through the mist, staring at it in awe.

Kosmo handed her Happiness. "Be careful." He told her with an arched eyebrow, inwardly a bit concerned mainly for the return trip. It might wear her out, and that was on top of the fact that there would be more people around soon. He wasn't sure whether or not that would be a good thing, with more of a scent for the monsters to follow, but also more power in numbers. He sighed and averted her gaze, unsure about the whole situation in general.
 
Kaia watched the interaction quietly, so as not to disturb or interfere with the Iris message. These things tended to be fairly delicate, and she just didn't want to attain more notice than needed. Finally, as Quinn was getting ready to shadow travel again, Kaia spoke up. "Just be careful. We don't need you accidentally shadow travelling across the country." She grimaced, thinking that what she said may sound demeaning, and continued. "Not that you would. You seem pretty capable."

"Hold on little guy... Alright Logan... tell your gang to get ready... i'm on my way..." she mumbled before vanishing from the iris message and into the shadows.

Kosmo watched as Quinn disappeared into a shadow, the small golem named Happiness tucked away in her pocket. He stood there with Kaia, tapping his foot as he waited for her to reappear with the other demigods. Well... at least the water and bouncy ball actually worked. I hadn't expected that, he reassured himself in an attempt to distract himself from all the hell erupting from around them.


"So..." He turned to Kaia, trying to start a conversation of some sort. He really sucked at conversations, but he didn't care. He just needed to keep his mind busy with something.
