“It’s time to bring the children in. Something has happened.”Zeus said looking around at the other gods and goddess seated around the circle. “What do you mean?”Poseidon and Hades said their voices echoing some from speaking at the same time. Zeus sat up his gaze hardening unsure of if he should tell everyone here lighting crashed across the sky showing his anger. The other gods and goddesses grew silent as they didn’t want to upset Zeus even further. He drummed his fingers, the thunder rumbling with each finger drum. “There is something off other than the mortals slowly losing their faith in us,”he said slowly. “Is a war coming?”Ares asked his spear appearing by his side immediately; he couldn't help but grin, his golden eyes lit with a fire ready for war. A darkness wafted around them the scent of death in the air.”Silence you war hungry idiot.”Hades snapped though his anger cooled when Persephone’s hand grazed him. Ares stood but a look from Zeus had him sitting down once more. “Enough of this. Go forth now all of you and bring your children in.”he said and with a sweep of his hand the others were sent down to the earth.

Zeus stood up his gaze looking over Mount Olympus then over where their children resided upon the mortal realm. He stood up and it was time to retrieve his own sons so taking an eagle form he took off descending. There was a flurry of emotions, chaos, and questions as the gods in whatever way they so chose retrieved their demigod children, sending them to camp or dropping them off themselves. The camp was wide open now well no it was open but the protection upon it was doubled only the demigods could now enter as well as the gods themselves. The staff were different types of mythical beasts, those who were loyal to the gods and their children. Now they stood waiting as kids, teens, and even some young adults entered the new ones were moved to one side of the clearing so they could be helped. While the kids who either stayed at camp all the time or had been there before were led away for the moment.

Mahika

Deep emerald orbs with silver flecks in them shone brilliantly as Mahika awoke slowly. Her eyes opened from her deep slumber before she turned to see two golden amber orbs staring at her. "What is it Eona?" A soft, accented voice echoed through the slowly lightening cabin. Mahogany strands shimmered with copper and gold tones as they fell over a tanned face. Almond-shaped eyes scanned the bare cabin before Mahika slowly stood up. Swinging her legs around to rest against the wooden oak floor.

The pure white wolf gave a soft woof of amusement as she watched her bonded stumble to her closet to get dressed. White fur ruffled as a breeze gently swirled around the room through a slightly open window. Her ears pricked forward as she watched Mahika get ready. Tongue lolling out of her muzzle fondly as Mahika emerged from the bathroom. Red fabric swirled around her legs in shades of burgundy, gold sequins, and silver thread as she gave a slight spin. "What do you think?" Her crop top was burgundy with silver and golden embroidered designs with sequins. A choker rested against her clavicle snugly, chains glittering softly and contrasting against tan skin with turquoise stones of Amazonite and deep Emeralds in the shape of a lily flower. A sheer veil with a border of dark ruby burgundy and golden embroidered patterns adorned her head with a traditional tikka glittering gold and red against her dark-colored hair.

Eona gave a bark of approval, amusement glimmering in her dark amber gaze as she tilted her head and then stood up, padding alongside the girl as the duo opened the wooden door, sunlight playing across the red, gold, and silver-themed outfit as they began their usual walk through the woods. Mahika usually ended up patrolling the woods, not having approached the camp as of yet, but time would tell... something was happening and she could feel the tension in the air - like the world was holding its breath. Eona had been her loyal companion and tracker for the past few years, having been a gift from the patron goddess herself and as such ... Eona and Mahika were bonded strongly together. Where one went the other was close behind.

Electra - 18 - Daughter of Hephaestus

Camp Half-Blood - Curious & Tired

Electra had been up late again, it was not something she enjoyed doing, as she was pretty aware of how unhealthy and detrimental it could be for your body and mind when you had less sleep than usual, but she was often up late due to things she was working on. When she had her mind set on something she was near impossible to get through to because it was like her mind was frozen on the one thing. Thus it was that when she did crawl into bed it was 3 in the morning, and at the point some birds were already starting to wake, and Electra knew she was going to regret it, but it was better than leaving a job unfinished. She had been working on her personal armour set, as she had thought of adding things to it, and hadn't realized how long it was going to take. Plus, partway through those edits she also had a sudden urge to improve her arm crossbows, and thus the late night had ensued, but she was pleasantly okay with the results. She knew if she continued to work on it when she was too tired then the work would be terrible, so she had relented and had finally gone to bed, taking off her leg braces and putting them beside the bed. Thankfully all the children of Hephaestus were able to sleep through noise, something that you had to become used to when you lived in a cabin that was literally a forge, so nobody awoke even as she slipped into her bed covers, pulled the curtain and fell into an exhausted and well deserved sleep. Her dreams were fuzzy, and fleeting, seeming to be flashes of different parts of the day and week she had, mostly consisting of smoke and fire from the forge, as that's where she spent a large majority of her time. Thankfully she wasn't needed for any of the "head counselor" business as they had assigned Maxie that job, after Electra had quickly refused it. Sleep restored a bit of Electra's energy, but not nearly enough, as the day began bright and early, and try as she might she couldn't sleep in past 7, giving her less than 4 hours of sleep. It was better than expected, as usually she was up by 6, but still it was unfortunate, as lay in bed yawning but now unable to fall back to sleep.

Moving into a sitting position she used her hands to bring her legs over the edge of the bed, sitting there for a bit she stared at them, wondering if she would ever be able to walk without the leg braces. This wasn't to say she didn't like the leg braces, she had made them and she was rather fond of them, but the fact was she knew she was a liability whenever they failed or broke or were used against her. Thus, she did do physio every day at Camp Half-Blood to recover more movement and strength in her legs. Today would be 6 years since coming here though, and she had made little improvement. She could stand on them without needing the braces, but moving was much harder, and currently she could only walk a handful of feet before needing to rest. Sighing softly she began to perform her morning routine of stretching her legs, lowering herself to the floor using her arms and then performing her stretches and physio exercises. Her fellow siblings were all quite used to this, nobody asked to help her or if she needed anything as they all knew well that she would refuse, and she would not even thank them, not because she wasn't grateful but because she didn't think it necessary to thank someone if all they did was offer something and not do it. She didn't need help, and thus she didn't want it. 15 minutes of stretching and exercises had caused Electra to sweat slightly, and her heart rate had gone up dramatically, attaching her leg braces she made her way to the showers, where she got out of her leg braces and using the wall to assist her she undressed and stepped into the shower. She never took long showers, as her legs couldn't stand for long enough and it was exhausting, so she simply spent the time washing off the grime from last night's forging session, and then washing herself so she wasn't covered in sweat. After getting out she dried up and put the leg braces back on, wincing as the familiar pain of it pressing against her leg reminded her of the almost permanent bruises that lined her legs. It was necessary of course, to have the braces on tightly so that she could do anything in them, walk, stand, jump, run, even kick, but it did mean it hurt to put them on and take them off. She was meant to have a break from them but she hated being immobile or having to stay in her wheelchair so she hardly ever spent days without them on.

Walking back to her bed she got dressed into her clothes, this time going with some leggings under the braces, her physio approved sneakers, an easy black t-shirt and a green cotton jacket over top. Although the Hephaestus cabin was always hot, due to the ever going fires in the basement, the outside was usually brisk at this time in the morning, and even though Electra often skipped breakfast due to not wanting to socialize, she was in need of some coffee. However, as she stepped outside of the cabin it was clear that something was up. There was a lot of noise, and many people were already up and out of the cabins, moving around and talking with such whispers that it seemed louder than yelling. Narrowing her eyes she scanned the area, noting that many of the camp staff was busy with something, a bit too far to see from where she was standing. As she went to go towards the dining pavilion she noticed Maxie nearby, and moving over to her she hoped she might have some extra information. "What's happening?" She asked, her sharp blue eyes following Maxie's gaze to try and see what the younger counselor might be looking at.

  • October (Tobi) - Chosen of Artemis

She had been preparing to embark on her next hunt when her mother appeared beside her, a gentle hand upon her shoulder and her soothing voice uttering that she must return to camp. Tobi knew that her mother wouldn’t prevent her from a hunt unless Artemis had specifically asked for it. Leaning her head against the warmth of her mother's hand on her shoulder she looked up into the warm mahogany gaze of Elune and nodded, “Alright.” She breathed and got to her feet, her fingers adjusting the silver rings on each hand. Being summoned to camp didn’t happen often, if ever, and Tobi knew she would need to be prepared for whatever lay ahead of her. The chimera would have to wait, the search for what she knew was missing would have to wait as well. Gathering her items into her pack she pulled her braid over her shoulder so it didn’t get uncomfortably pinned behind her head. By the time she was finished the figure beside her was no longer that of a motherly-looking woman but rather a large silver she-wolf awaiting her pup patiently. When Tobi stood Elune mimicked the movement and looked at the young woman with an expectant gaze before nodding towards her own back “Really mom? You haven’t done that in years. I’m a big girl, I can get to camp on my own.” Tobi argued with a sight shake of her head and a chuckle in her tone.

It seemed that despite her daughter's protest Elune would not be taking no for an answer. Once again the she-wolf wordlessly nodded her head from her daughter towards her back and the look she gave reminded Tobi of when she was small. It was a look that meant there wasn’t room for debate, Elune had made up her mind and Tobi needed to get with the program. “Fine. If it is that much of a rush.” She sighed and approached the massive she-wolf that had raised her as her own. Elune knelt down allowing Tobi to spring onto her back and waited until the young woman was secure. Tobi carefully dug her fingers into the thick silver fur along her mother's shoulders, her thighs gripping tightly as she knew she would need to hold on for dear life, a skill she had learned at a young age. Once she was securely in place Elune took off running and all around the pair the world passed like a blur. When Elune ran it was possible for the she-wolf to cross the entire country in around three hours from what Tobi had experienced. Getting from the Canadian border in Maine to Long Island was barely a thirty-minute ride and when they came to a stop at the crest of Half-Blood Hill it was just as the other huntresses were arriving as well. All around huntresses and animal companions alike were rushing forward to greet their sister who all too often hunted alone and Tobi greeted them with warmth. Whistling a high-pitched tune it didn’t take long for Tamara and Raksha to appear and greet her as well. They were never far from her side but the whistle was one they could always hear that would bring them to her within seconds. Tobi stroked Tamara’s feathers and dug her face into Raksha’s thick white coat as she hugged her.

At her side, Elune had once more returned to her human form and reached down to guide Tobi into a standing position, a warm smile on her lips and love in her eyes. “They are waiting for you Little Pup, we will be along shortly but you should go ahead.” Elune’s voice held the love and comfort Tobi had grown up wrapped within and so when she heard her mother’s suggestion she nodded and did not question her reasoning.

“I’ll see you down there.” Tobi replied and took a few steps before turning back and rushing into her mother's arms. “It was really good to see you mom. I know I’ve been gone a long time but-”

“It’s alright Little Pup, I know you are still searching. You’ll find what you are looking for one day but for now, represent our goddess well and I’ll make sure we have time together soon.” Elune promised as she squeezed her daughter in a loving embrace.

After a moment the two parted and Elune’s hands rose to gently stroke Tobi’s cheek, a parting expression of love the two had shared since she was small. Nodding her head Tobi turned with Tamara swooping onto her shoulder and Raksha at her side, the trio making their way into camp.

Hugo - 11 - Son of Apollo

Camp Half-Blood - Excited & Hyper

Hugo had been happily sleeping in his bed when he was woken up by a familiar figure, his mother gently rocked him awake with a soft voice and a gentle hand. "Rene, look who is here to see you." She said in her heavily accented voice. Hugo groaned sleepily, opening one eye to peek out from under the covers. "DADDY!" He yelled as soon as he saw even a glimpse of who it was. Leaping out of the covers like a rabbit, Hugo flew into his dad's arms, giving him a giant hug and receiving one in return. He began to climb all over him, no longer being sleepy but now excited and curious. "Why are you here? What are we doing? Is it my birthday? Did you bring me gifts? I need to show you a new song I learned! OOH I can shoot much further than last time you were here!" He spoke at an extremely fast speed, to the giggles of both of his parents. Apollo explained his reasonings to Hugo, and he nodded excitedly, having never heard of this camp Half-Blood but being very excited to go, and a road trip with Apollo seemed like the best thing ever. "Will I meet my aunt? Do I have siblings? Will there be kids my age? Are there going to be animals to play with? Can we play a game while we're going? I'll go get my stuff!" He yelled loudly, leaping off of Apollo and rushing around the house very quickly, only grabbing things like his lyre, bow and quiver, and other bits and bobbles that weren't important but had meaning to him. He didn't even notice the bag of packed clothes that his mother had already packed for him. Finally figuring he'd gotten everything he needed to he was about to go back to his bedroom when he noticed the table covered in food, and suddenly remembered he was terribly hungry. Dropping all of his stuff he rushed over, sitting down and digging into the delicious meal his mother must have prepared while he was sleeping. It was quite early, but if they were going to America then that meant they'd have to leave soon and quickly.

As he was eating his parents walked back into the room. As Hugo looked at his mum he had a sudden realization that if he went to camp he wasn't going to see her. Mid bite of an egg toast he rushed off of the table and wrapped his arms around her legs, her legs that were still skinny and weak from when she had been very sick. "You're gonna come too right mama?" He asked, but already knowing the answer would be no. Tears sprung to his eyes as he hugged her tightly, and he felt her hug back, as she gently whispered in his ear that she'd be alright, she'd be safe, and she would call if she was unwell. Hugo refused to let go, but his mother gently scooped him into her arms and hugged him tightly, nestling her cheek into his golden curls and singing a soft French lullaby, Hugo felt his soul soothe, and when Apollo lifted him off his mother he didn't fight it, but instead he pulled his mother's face to him and kissed her head, willing her to remain well while he was away. He couldn't bear to have her fall sick while he was gone. "Je t'aime maman." He said, his bright green eyes sparkling with love for his mother. "Je t'aime, Rene." She said in return, moving over to kiss him right back on the cheek. Apollo nodded to Renee, and already holding all of Hugo's belongings they were off. The trip seemed fast, and it was exciting as always. The God's travelled in exciting ways, and although somewhat forced to use mortal ways because Hugo was in fact semi-mortal, it was a much faster trip than others would take. Hugo spent the time clinging to Apollo's back, letting the wind whip at his hair and grinning wildly. As soon as they had left home his worries had remained there, and he was now simply excited to be going on this trip to a new place with people he would become friends and family with. Time flew by, and before he knew it they were walking through the gates of a new but inviting place.

Hugo had chatted his dad's ear off by this point, but Apollo always seemed to be a good sport and never derided Hugo for doing so. Hugo had sung and played games while they were travelling and now he was speechless as he was visually stimulated by the new area they were in. It was very early when they got into camp, still somewhat dark, and not many people were up. As Apollo walked through, he saw how those who were up looking over in awe, and Hugo waved back excitedly, hoping to become friends with some of these people. Apollo eventually reached a larger group of people, and gently put Hugo on the ground. Hugo looked up at everyone with wide eyes, grinning ear to ear and waving at them all. When Apollo told him to go explore, but to stay within the camp grounds, he eagerly accepted. Apollo bent down to point out one very special building, it looked rather mundane, but where the sun hit it it was sparkling like gold, Apollo told him to go there, that it was his cabin. Hugo nodded excitedly and ran off, leaving his bags with Apollo, and only having his lyre strapped to his back and his quiver and bow strapped to his side. He ran up to the door and knocked excitedly, wide green eyes hoping to meet some new people.

Mahika

Mahika left the safety of her hidden cabin, her traditional garment swirling around her legs gently. Adorning her feet were tawny sandals. The straps were adorned with silver and gold thread, swirling across the leather in swirls of floral patterns. Her eyes scanned her cabin carefully, Anthomene sat in her mahogany locks delicately, pinning the strands in an elegant half-up, half-down style. The white and blue apatite flowers that decorated the hairpiece glittered softly as she began to head towards the camp. Her loyal companion was just a step ahead of her with careful steps.

Together the duo crept through the trees, one pure white while the other dressed in shades of burgundy, gold, and silver. Hika wasn't entirely sure why she was heading to the camp, but something was calling her there. The skirt brushed against the trees as she passed them, nearly invisible to anyone looking for the gleam of color against the greens and browns of the forest. Eona gave a soft whine of concern as Mahika paused at the barrier, her eyes closing as she took a deep breath.

The pure white wolf pressed against the legs of Mahika, allowing the Indian girl to weave her fingers through her soft fur as the duo shared a slight nod before they slowly entered the camp. Mahika kept close to Eona's side, feeling the gazes of campers as they made their way towards The Big House. Mahika kept herself close to her bonded partner-in-crime, feeling a lot more relaxed with Eona by her side. The white fae gave dark growls to anyone who attempted to approach the duo as they made their way toward the mansion-like house where Chiron and Mr. D tended to reside. "Do you think we should continue?" Mahika asked her bonded partner, using one of her abilities as she combed her fingers through the silky fur.

"Yes, we need to Mahika." Eona responded to her inquiry, the two females pausing just near the deck and eyeing the mansion-like house carefully. Mahika sighed, tugging her veil over her shoulder as she shifted her weight, glancing down to Eona and then back to the door uneasily. Her eyes closed as she shook her head and groaned "I'm not getting any younger ..." her eyes scanned the camp carefully before she hummed thoughtfully "I wonder how Sunny is doing..." She murmured, her eyes going distant for a minute, memories of the young camper assaulting her mind.

  • Anastasia - 17 - Daughter of Demeter

Road to Camp Half-Blood - Nervous

Anastasia was on the verge of sleep and the waking world, she could tell she was somewhat awake by the fact she could hear Ronan humming to the car tunes, and she could feel the bump of the road under the wheels of the van. But she was still so sleepy and comfortable that she refused to let herself be fully awoken, and she nestled deeper into this dozing time, using one of Ronan's jumpers as a make-shift pillow, even though there were many pillows in the van. She was warm and cozy, as Ronan always kept the van at the perfect temperature for her, and she felt... safe. It was a remarkable thing, to feel safe, she had felt it a mere handful of times in her life, when she lives with her first adoptive family, when she finally moved in with her dad, and now with Ronan... Three times. At first it had been scary, but her dad had been so encouraging, and he had promised her that it was the right thing to do, he trusted Ronan, and he trusted her mother. Her mother who was... the goddess Demeter? Anastasia's mind whirled at the thought, unable to process this, she knew nothing of Greek gods, only understanding that this was someone who was believed a myth? But... her father assured her it was true, and Ronan assured her it was true, but she had never seen nor experienced anything unnatural before... So it was new and unique to her, something she was still struggling to believe. Maybe once they got to this camp, where apparently there were a lot of other children of gods, including Demeter, then she might understand. Whatever the truth of the matter, she was glad that her dad had trusted Ronan, because now she had a brother whom she loved. Although Ronan was the same age as Ana, he felt a million years older, as he spoke of his experiences and time abroad, of all the things he did in his time, she was overwhelmed when he first started to tell her, and he figured that out, as she would sit there in stunned silence. But now she yearned to hear more, and she would ask questions. "What's that, where did you get this? why do you like that place?" Anything to gather more information on the world around her. Although Ana had had a large share of bad people in her life, Ronan so outweighed them that it basically felt like a non-existent past.

As she yawned, listening to Ronan call her that now familiar nickname, she straightened herself up, pulling the makeshift pillow - the hoodie - onto her lap and fiddling with it in her hands as she looked at the scenery around her. Bleary eyes squinted at the sunlight, but she was glad to see the sun, as it was always a welcome sight. It excited her, and as Ronan passed her the phone she immediately began scrolling in it, going through the music and looking for songs. Ronan had been introducing her to many songs, and he had given her a playlist on his phone which she could add music to, and he would add music he thought she might like. She loved listening to them, and would beg him to find her more music, as time went on she began to add ones she would find too, and it was growing into a little but sweet shared playlist for the two, like a soundtrack for them. Different Life by Kate Vogel was the first song she put on, even though it had such a haunting and sad sounding melody, the lyrics were what she wanted to listen to as she came to terms with what was happening.

We could run away to a different life
Cover my ears and close my eyes
We could just pretend that everything's all right
    Everything's all right

This is what it felt like, running away with Ronan to a different life, far away from the horrors and tragedies of her past. The only thing missing to make this perfect was her dad, but she trusted him to be okay, she trusted Ronan when he said he would be okay, and that Ronan would check on him, and take Ana back to visit him frequently. She hoped he would keep his word, she needed him to. "So... can you tell me more about our mother? Will I meet her?" Ana asked, as the song gently played in the background. Ronan nodded, turning it down just enough so he could talk without having to yell over the song. Ana listened intently, sometimes staring at Ronan with large blue eyes, and sometimes staring out the window wistfully, wanting to run outside in the warm sunshine and beautiful land outside. Ronan spoke well of their mother, and Ana believed him, but she was unsure of how to think about meeting her, having no clue on what to expect. There was so little she understood about this. Sighing softly she was glad as the next song played. Distance - by Chrstina Perri. The song made her blush, but not in a way of lovers, but of family. Ronan had added this song to the list, and it had made her feel so touched, so loved, so purely happy. She wondered what it would feel like to hear someone say "I love you" or to say it in return. She had thought it, but she had not as yet anybody to whom she thought she could say it to. She did love many people, or rather... she loved Ronan, her father, and the children she had saved, she even loved her old family, but it was so scary to declare it. Thinking of her father she quickly skipped the song to Wait - by Jeremy Renner, a song that reminded her of her dad. I hope he's okay. I hope this trip... is worth it. She nibbled her bottom lip and scrunched the hoodie in her hands as she quietly sung along to the lyrics, her eyes widening as they drove up to the camp.

  • Sunny - Daughter of Athena

A warm wet nose poking her cheek was the first thing Sunny remembered as her eyes fluttered open and were met with the warm gaze of Clover. “Hey handsome man, did you sleep okay?” She muttered groggily as with great effort she reached up to scratch her beloved companion behind the ears. “Silly question, huh?” She breathed and planted a kiss on his nose.

Her limbs felt a bit like lead as she rolled over and did her best to blink the exhaustion out of her eyes. Through the slits in the back of her shirt, massive brown, tan, and white wings fanned out after being crammed against her back all night. She did her best to avoid knocking anything over as she stretched them out, a slight wince brought on by a stab of pain in her head. All through the night she had been struggling with sleep due to headaches and she knew it had kept Clover awake too which caused a shard of guilt to stab at her heart.

While every pet and companion at camp was special Clover was truly special to her specifically. He was not only her friend and her support but had been professionally trained to sense when she was going to pass out or have a seizure. His training had likely saved her life more than once, especially as he knew how to help her during and after the ailment had struck. Thus, when she finds herself unable to sleep during the night because of the pain she knows he is diligently keeping watch over her and comforting her. “Don’t worry, I’ll try and schedule some nap time for you today. We can draw by the lake. How does that sound?” She whispered and leaned forward to touch her forehead to his, short feathery blonde hair falling like a curtain over her face. Clover sat and huffed at her happily when she spoke, his massive pink tongue shooting out to drag along her cheek in a kiss. “Awwww, such a sweet man. Always know how to make a girl feel special.” She giggled and pecked his nose with another kiss before reaching down to slip her rainbow converses onto her feet.

Shuffling around the cabin in her pajama bottoms and camp t-shirt Sunny didn’t really think about changing just yet. She was more so focused on getting some food into her system so she could take her medication. Grabbing her shoulder bag full of art supplies and other things she might need in the worst-case scenario the young blonde began to make her way out of the cabin with Clover at her side, his head pressing at her arm as they walked. The moment Sunny stepped outside she looked around to see that camp was far more lively this morning than usual. Her silvery grey eyes widened as she recognized several of the beings standing around as though it were any other day. “Holy cheeseballs.” She swore softly as her eyes traveled from god to god.

It was a bit peculiar that the young blonde felt more at ease returning to camp purposed for providing sanctuary and training to demigods than she had in a house surrounded by family and riches. Nonetheless, that was Celeste le Blanc's reality. When fate had dragged her into this realm two summer ago, she had little expectations for she knew little about what it meant to be a demigoddess of Hermes. Yet, while her new circumstances had been rather strange at first, the blue-eyed beauty was quite the quick study. Now, this place held a certain charm to it—one that kept luring her back into its clutches. Nevertheless, the unlikely heiress would soon find that there was something amiss at the charming little place.

The morning air of early summer was cool against her the exposed bits of her skin. She was wearing a simple taupe, high-necked crop top and a pair of medium-wash straight leg jeans with white sneakers and chunky gold jewelry. Her hair had been loosely pulled back into an elegant bun and secured by only a golden-tipped fountain pen with only the front pieces of her hair left to dangle down around the edges of her face. Her delicate fingers were curled around the thick handle of her small duffel bag as she dragged it along with her. She had ditched the ride (that she may have or may not have stolen) she had taken to get there a few miles from the camp and had traveled on foot from there.

She crossed the barrier and into camp, her pale blue gaze flickering about her surroundings. Faint chatter and nearby shuffles of movement swirled around her as she moved deeper into the camp and farther away from the entrance. Although she was aware of the presence of a few other individuals who had found their way to or back to camp, she did not stop to greet nor directly acknowledge them. Instead, she kept to herself and headed in the direction of the cabins.

There was a nervous tension in the air as Zeus stood waiting for all the children to show up. His gaze was watching the camp searching to make sure he saw those within gathering around. It wasn’t every day that you would see all of the Greek gods standing in camp hell it was unusual to even see some of them. The camp became deathly silent as the final children/teens and camp workers arrived all looking over at Zeus. He stood taller as lighting cracked across the sky, a clear indication that he was unnerved about something.”You have all been summoned because you are in danger.”He spoke clearly and calmly, his gaze sweeping over everyone. He let a few murmurs of concern continue before utter silence filled the air once more. “Something has been stolen from Mount Olympus. This item.. well that is none of your concern just know it brings great danger to you all.”he said he felt Hades and Poseidon shift behind him. “So from now on you all are confined to camp and any place protected by the gods themselves.”he said, holding up hand for them to remain silent. “There will be no discussion, this is an order and it will be followed through.”his blue eyes lit up as he said so.

The other gods and goddesses made no attempts to stop this order in fact most were nodding in agreement or passive enough to not care. Zeus opened his mouth to speak once more when it happened the barrier that protected the camp shattered with a thunderous boom. There was something zooming towards Zeus then a blur of black was suddenly in the way as bright golden blood spilled onto the ground. Hades stood before Zeus with a large spear through his chest he was impaled, the blade dug deep into the ground while the staff was in and sticking out of Hades chest. A cough left Hades as the golden liquid trickled out of his mouth. There was shock upon his and Zeus’s faces; the big three were never injured. Ares bellowed a war cry as sounds of chaos began to fill the camp they were under attack. His power pulsating through the air boosting the other gods and goddesses attacks as they all jumped into motion. Each of them uses their abilities to try and protect their children. The figures entering the camp were like smoke appearing and disappearing as they moved close. The smoke black with the faintest of red glowing where the eyes would be. They drew closer and closer as the godly parents sprang forward into action. It was utter chaos as darkness began filling the camp, blurs of smoke, splattering of golden blood as the gods fought. This wasn’t supposed to happen; the gods and goddesses were supposed to be immortal yet the fear in their eyes showed that was not the case anymore. As the gods and goddesses fought some of the shadows slipped through their defense as they began approaching the mass of teens and young kids. It was now or never fight or die. It was their choice now whether they would survive or submit to this new enemy.

Eona's white ears pricked up and she gave a soft growl as she saw the gods/goddesses gathered by the amphitheater. Her soft growl caught her bonded' attention and Mahika turned her gaze to the gathering. A delicate eyebrow raised curiously as she tilted her head and began to make her way towards the group. The chosen of Artemis carefully kept herself to the outskirts of the group, blending in with the shadows (though Eona definitely made it difficult - I mean it was slightly difficult to not notice a pure white wolf in her opinion). The ruby red veil glittered slightly as Mahika shifted her weight slightly.

When Zeus began speaking, the huntress couldn't resist rolling her eyes skywards for patience. How the heck her patron goddess even put up with the king of gods beat her. Eona couldn't resist growling at Zeus, her amber gaze narrow as she sat down, though the fae didn't remain sitting for long. When Zeus mentioned the fact that the campers (thus including her own bonded at that rate) were not allowed to leave the camp - the fae stood up with a snarl on her muzzle. Mahika and Eona were not meant to be controlled - they were one with the forest. They preferred to travel and explore. Mahika had her role to play - how could she lead and protect young campers making their way to the camp if she was confined to the camp itself?!

Mahika's emerald silver-flecked orbs narrowed dangerously, an elegant hand resting on the back of her wolf carefully. The annoyance the girl felt quickly switched to horror and anxiety as she watched Hades and Zeus. Golden ichor was on the ground and despite everything - Hika carefully drew Anthomene from her hair, mahogany locks falling down her back gently in waves as the hair stick pulsed for a split second before transforming into her silver bow, her eyes gleaming as she began to fire at the shadowy figures, though she quickly realized that her normal arrows wouldn't do much given the type of enemy this was.

Eona's ivory fangs gleamed dangerously, a dark growl erupting from her chest as the wolf darted to her bonded's side. Her fur bristled and her tail lowered as she began to pace in front of Mahika, snapping her powerful jaws to defend her bonded. Her protective instincts rose as Hika began to fight. The Chosen of Artemis fiercely glared at anything that came across her path, her muscles tensed and ready to protect any younger camper she noticed in need of help. Despite having no fondness for the camp - she would never forgive herself if she allowed a camper to be hurt when she could help and try to prevent it.

  • Olivia - 22 - Chosen of Hera

    Camp Half-Blood - Protective & Love

Olivia had gotten up early in her cabin, a small, cottage like cabin that housed primarily children, including her own. The cabin sat very close to the Hera cabin, a rather good convenience, as that was who had claimed her those years ago when she came to Camp Half-Blood. As she watched the sunrise out of the old fashioned windows in the cabin, listening to the gentle sleeping of the children within, she began to bake a beautiful and fresh loaf of bread, gently kneading in some herbs and butter to make it absolutely divine. She was in the mood to hum, but didn't want to wake the children, but thankfully Oliver was humming for her, deep within her mind, keeping her company as he sang and hummed for her and caused his feelings of peace and warmth to flow over her. Life was always full because Oliver was there, even with Willow around and the other children who she adored, Olivia would feel alone if Oliver was gone. She still wondered why they were the way they were, why their mothers had allowed them to be like this, but she wasn't complaining. Would it be nice to have Oliver there physically with her so she could do things with him? Yes, but did she care that much about it? No... Honestly in a selfish way she was kind of glad that she had a permanent friend within her, or one whom she could be within, and the fact it was the most wonderful, wholesome and loving brother she could ask for? That was just a bonus. Setting the bread to bake, she began to clean up the cottage house, checking on the children as they slept and taking a brisk walk in the cold air to pick some fruit from the trees outside. Although the dining hall was the primary eating place, the Cabin of Leto was fully equipped to feed, bathe, shower and house people within. Given that it was only children, those unclaimed by their parents, it needed very personal and specific love and dedication, and Olivia and Oliver were the perfect people for the job. Walking back inside she stopped for a few minutes to gently rub a child's back as they began to wake up, gently pressing into their mind to sing them a lullaby softly, until they were back asleep. Then she began to cut up the fruit for the kids, knowing they needed a fresh and healthy diet.

She spent the rest of the morning helping the kids get up, helping them get dressed, feeding those who were super young and leaving food out for those who could feed themselves. They were always welcome to go to the dining pavilion, but Olivia would always have food for them. Today it was fresh fruit with greek yoghurt, and homemade baked bread. Willow ran up to Olivia as soon as she awoke, and Olivia nestled her face into Willow's beautiful blonde curly hair, breathing deeply as the scent of her child filled her with warmth and love. Feeling refuelled for the day she watched as Willow went to play in the fenced off yard of the Leto cabin, something that not many cabins had but was a little necessary for the very young children. It wasn't locked, it wasn't barred or anything, but it was safe enough that she knew the very young ones wouldn't be running/crawling off. Plus, this camp was primarily a safe place, filled with other demi-gods, mythical creatures and the like. It was Oliver though, that began to feel uneasy, as he began to sense a large amount of nervous emotion. Oliver's emotions were so strong that Olivia could always feel what he was feeling, no matter what position they were in. What's happening Oliver? Why are we nervous all of a sudden? Is something wrong? She asked, as she cleaned up the breakfast dishes and put away the remaining food. Oliver didn't answer for a second, as he was focusing on the answer himself. I'm not sure sister, but there's a lot of people outside and there's a lot of nervous emotion surrounding them, it's so strong I can feel it clearly from in here. He insisted, encouraging Olivia to go check. Olivia stepped to the door, opening it and checking out into the main road of the Camp Half-Blood. As Oliver had predicted, there were many people there, and not just people, but very important people. Olivia could tell, as her mind reached out towards them and was met with SEVERE resistance that these were not mortals, these were not merely demi-gods, but the gods themselves. What are they doing here? She rhetorically asked Oliver, knowing he wouldn't know. No matter how much she tried to reach out with her mind it was pointless, she couldn't hear anything from their minds. That was where Oliver was stronger than her, although she could pick up specifics from within a person's mind, use it somewhat like a computer, it involved needing access. But Oliver's was like an aura, he could sense other's emotions and feel them himself, and do the opposite, force it upon them.

Olivia ventured just a tad closer, wanting to hear what was going on, but not wanting to be too far from the house. As she moved closer she saw Zeus begin to speak. As he spoke she felt a wash of unease flow over her, as Oliver began to again feel some emotions that were flowing from those around them. Reaching out gently, only feeling for surface thoughts, she could hear those of her fellow camp mates. What is happening... Is that my father... Are we in danger... who are these people... Many questions but nothing useful. Olivia zoned back in as Zeus began to say that they were not to leave. She was fine with that, she didn't plan to leave, she liked it here, and it was safe... As she was thinking this, that's when everything went down. Her green eyes grew wide as suddenly Hades' body was split by this spear, and his golden ichor sprayed and pooled on the ground. Suddenly Chaos erupted from around them, causing pain and sorrow as many of the gods and other campers began to get attacked. Olivia wasted no time, as she let her head back and let out an ungodly scream, a scream that could be heard from all over camp half-blood, everybody would know something was wrong. It was also a scream that her children knew, they knew to run inside. Olivia ran back to the cabin as fast as she could, ushering the children inside and taking note of how many there were to make sure they were safe. That was when she could tell there was one missing, her own daughter Willow. Rushing back outside she could see her daughter staring at the hordes of evil outside. OLIVER! She must have followed us outside! Olivia ran, faster than most others, and reached Willow just as a dark creature attacked her, and in an instant her mind was blank for a moment, as Oliver shifted. Her body grew, taking on Oliver's muscled and lean form, losing the curves of womanhood and the pretty dress she was wearing stretching awkwardly as it tried to take Oliver's form. Keep her safe Ollie. She thought as she delved deep within his mind.
