Personality:


Andrew is outwardly a calm and quiet kid. He won't talk first, and certainly won't talk about anything he's not interested in. Andrew takes great interest in history, as he is sometimes able to mentally relive certain moments in time. He also likes languages, as he usually cannot see text through flashbacks or premonitions, therefore books are one of the few things that can surprise him. He gets premonitions and flashbacks often, to the point where they don't hurt him anymore like they used to when he was younger.


With his friends, he's very open and optimistic, and tends to go with the flow more than disrupt what's going on with his own ideas. He likes to see his premonitions play out, and it makes him happy when he's right. While often using his power to cheat in school, he doesn't always do it on purpose. Sometimes things are accidents, and Andrew gets really embarrassed when someone finds out he knows something he shouldn't. As such, Andrew likes to play off the idea that he doesn't have powers, even around people who also have powers.


History:


Born to a single mother in southern California, Andrew spent most of his younger years alone. He often got premonitions and migraines as a young child when his powers were still coming in. The doctors he was taken to gave him numerous scans, diagnosis, and prescriptions, but nothing ever seemed to help. After a while, his mother stopped taking him to the doctor's.


Often picked on in elementary school and middle school for his smaller size and generally meek personality, Andrew became withdrawn and secluded, often turning to drawing to get the images that come to him out of his head. There was a time in middle school when he started breaking down crying at lunch. When the school bully asked him what he was crying over to tease him, Andrew responded by apologizing for the bully's abusive parents, having got a flashback to last night in the bully's home. He was promptly left alone after that.


The first time Andrew attempted to manipulate time, he actually did so for dishonest reasons. By the time tests started to matter in high school, Andrew could usually channel his powers into seeing what the answers would be when they went over the test the next day. However, for a math test, Andrew's powers weren't cooperating The next day, after they went over the test, Andrew attempted to travel back in time to re-take the test. He instead passed out on the spot.
