Utterly confused, all the time.
.Welcome! My name's Brain_Rot, I’m a 19 y/o college student and I use they/them pronouns. Thanks for giving my thread a read!

- Pairings I like

- Announcements/cravings
- Writing Sample
-18+ only.
- Bare minimum of 1 paragraph per reply. Unless you're extremely talented with giving an in-depth, engaging replies with less I'll loose interest very fast.
- Help with planning! All my ideas are just seedlings of proper plots, your input is appreciated and needed for a good roleplay!
- 'Ghost friendly'-ish. Let me know if you're ghosting if you can I don't need a long explanation- just a heads up that you don't want to roleplay anymore! Something like 'I'm done with this' is all I'm asking for.
- I don't play M/F pairings, any other pairing is a-ok though.
Things I like in my roleplays
- Give me drama or give me death! Crying, breaking up, near death experiences- etc.
- 90% of my roleplays are romantic because I'm a sap, but if the prompt seems promising I wouldn't mind trying platonic.
- Gore and violence. Self explanatory- I get squeamish around graphic depictions of animal abuse and child abuse BUT everything else is on the table.
- Fantasy! Not mandatory, but I am always up for fantasy. Set in the past, present, or future. My favorite fantasy setting is DND so I'll be pulling from there as well as celtic mythology.
-Steampunk. I love giving the finger to physics and logic.
- Vampires, werewolves, demons, and any other human-adjacent creatures of the night.
- Sprinkles of fluff. Just highlights and sweet moments to bring the relationships together.
- Fandoms/franchises; I love stealing other universes, but hate fandom roleplays. IE We can use the rules from my hero academia, but we have to create our own plots and characters.
These (obviously) aren't fully formed plots, just ideas to jump off from. They can be tweaked and/or combined too!
-Humanoid alien X human (either one of them crashing landing on the others home planet perhaps?)
- Demon/angel.
-Demon/Human
- Summoner X supernatural creature.
- Magic practitioner X apprentice (maybe modern fantasy where magic is outlawed?
- Android X human (inspired by every Daft Punk song)
- A high profile criminal X bystander (preferably in a steampunk setting.)
- Basically a coffee shop AU set in a modern fantasy world with dark undertones.
- Pirate's
- Medieval arranged marriage (in the magical world where sexism and homophobia doesn't exist.)
- Any scenario involving a zombie apocalypse.
-Upper class figure/ commoner
-Enemies to lovers (my absolute favorite trope, i'll never get sick of it)
Kind of like what I said for pairings, these definitely aren't fully formed plots but rather jumping off points! Also, these are just ideas- Id love to hear more prompts that you'd like to try out!.
-Set in fantasy realm where a magic student finds a teacher and convinces them to go on a quest. They'd both be similar in age, but have a vast difference in ability. The Teacher is only as powerful as they are by making a deal with a demon and their life has been royally fucked up because of it. Throughout the story, as the student grows stronger and hungrier for power, the teacher must save them or loose them to madness.
- Set in a fantasy world. Muse A is a guard set to watch a 'dangerous entity',AKA muse b. In reality muse B is just a prince taken from the kingdom of faeries/elves/what ever the hell we want for their unique powers. This can be discussed/changed depending on the RP's needs. After a while the guard learns to talk with Muse B, and eventually runs away with them. They then have to track back to Muse B's kingdom while evading the law.
-The stage is set in a dreary town full of exotic people. A dust covered, lawless community of ex-convicts, outlaws, and trouble-makers looking for a place to catch their breath. Despite the people's... unique backstories, the town is reasonably quiet. If someone wants trouble they go out of town to find and/or make it. The lousy excuse of a sheriff, along with the mayor of this squabble of land, are keen to keep things that way. There ain't a lot of money in righteous work, after all. It gained the name Haven, a place where no matter how cruel or devious one may be they can rest for a night or two before getting back out to the scorching deserts and unforgiving canyon lands of the deep west. This brings us to Muse A, one way or another they found themselves nestled in this little crop of dirt outside of the purview of the law and they are keen to stay under the radar. Whether it's directly related to their need to stay in Haven, or just an added facet to their character, Muse A is gifted with powerful sorcery that is unheard of by a majority of people in this world. This brings us to Muse B. In need of some serious cash (gambling addiction gone wrong? Owe a couple slum lords? Maybe just really tired of being poor?) they gained a map that shows a path to a special trove of treasure in those previously mentioned deadly canyon lands, except only a powerful sorcerer (of which they are not) would be able to reach it. One thing leads to another, Muse B does some shameless stalking, and here they are crashing into Muse A's well established business looking to fuck up their life with ridiculous hijinks of grandeur. Tags: Enemies to lovers, heavy world building, western-fantasy, raunchy + inappropriate humor, lots of tension.
School is killing me and I need escapism, will be able to reply often
'The blood was nothing special, and Akir was fully aware even as her tongue lathered up the crimson liquid in a cheap jab for intimidation. It wouldn't bestow heightened constitution or power, yet she could immediately feel a flurry of sweet nostalgia that made her chest swell, and her heart ache. It was unexpected, and as Fern grasped at words Akir struggled to ground herself back in the moment. She was never one to dwell on her emotions, or even piece them together to figure out exactly what she was feeling beyond 'good' or 'bad'- but in this instance she felt great. She didn't have any memories from before her time as a fae creature but she knew she had been human at one point in time, and assuming her bad habit of engaging in power grabs and meaningless violence wasn't unique to this lifetime this probably wasn't the first time she had tasted blood- whether it was someone else's or her own. Fae didn't have regular blood, instead they had thick inky ichor that smelled of moss and rain rather than copper. In fact one of the first lessons Akir had as a fae was how damn near impossible it was to scrub ichor out of clothes and hair. Her brief train of thought was interrupted by her summoner finally speaking, even if it was just a few sputtered syllables. Pleased that the human hadn't simply passed out from fear, she curled her hand back towards her side and waited for her to mumble out a question.
"What am I? You summoned me without knowing what I am?" She raised her voice a bit to express her exagerated disappointment.
“I didn't just waltz in out of the ethereal plane. You know what I am, but you're just too cowardly to admit it to yourself." Akir's eyes snapped to face the woman but her head lagged behind, slowly turning to become aligned with her gaze as she spoke. The various chains she wore clattered with the shift of her body, and her cloaks swayed in rhythm.
"Maybe a bit of light will help jog your memory." Akir's voice was a whispery tease, but in the quiet house it may as well have been a scream. She extended an arm with her palm facing the ceiling, and out of nothing a small flame appeared. It didn't falter, and it was luminous enough to bring the full glory of Akir's being to light. Just as quickly as it appeared Akir snuffed it out by clamping her hand shut around it. The dark didn't last long, for every candle in the house -whether it was in the dining room or elsewhere- erupted with a steady flame. She lowered a hand, and looked like she was about to take a seat, but then the woman decided to speak again. This time something Akir took great offense to.
Her body tensed considerably and her facial muscles tightened, though all would be unseen due to her cloaks and mask. Despite how intense her emotions flared on the inside, her movements were slow and calculated. She received the information and it took a few agonizing moments for a physical response. She slid her fingers onto the table and began her journey back to Fern's side, all the while her claws dug into the oak table, screeching horribly as she grew closer. Even if she hadn't filled the house with the horrible cracking of splintering wood, her aura would have been enough to poison the atmosphere sour and unpleasant.
"I'm not what you wished for, you say?" Akir whispered, her claws finally dislodging themselves from the table just to grab a fistful of the woman's hair. The silence was absolute as she forced her to stand straight and just past her natural height. No longer bored and looking for a reaction, she was offended and needed to establish her role with this human. She didn’t come to this realm often, but all fae folk knew to keep their human summoners in their places to avoid dangerous situations down the line.
"I don't think you understand how this works, girlie. You know just enough of the fae to demand for our help, but not enough to know what happens when you disrespect us? I didn’t just come to grant your wishes out of the kindness of my heart, I came to offer a deal. Understood?” Though Fern would have been far too frightened to notice, her tone made a chilling switch from friendly and human to quiet and rough. Her voice now had layers to them, reverberating in her chest to remind the human of their standing in the human realm. '
I'm a very versatile person! Ask for a casual 1+ paragraph role-play and I'll write a damn novel when needed. I usually start all role-plays with a minimum of 2+ paragraphs just so I'm assured my partner is capable of in-depth replies- after a while, though, I certainly don't mind slipping into more casual, less beefy reply territory. That being said one liners are still an absolute no.
