Fantasy Cafe in a world like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts

In a major trading city by the ocean is a café run by a time travelling witch who visits different worlds collecting and selling antiques.


The characters are an assortment of races and characters from the defeated evil lord to the simple peasant girl who only wants a part-time job. Most of them want one thing that only the witch can grant, be it the philosopher's stone or a map to the lost city of Atlantis, and they are paying the price by working for her.


Behind the normal everyday life of running a café where you get all sorts of customers from giants, dragon riders, or plain simple adventurer's, there are curious customers who come to the witch for help, and that's when she sends her café employees on quests.

Yeah, that's how I want this RP to be. I'm aiming for this campaign to be light hearted and relaxing and I was thinking of not allowing this type of character: "Woe is me, pity me and my tragic background that gave me a mental illness or emotional trauma that causes me to act dangerous or dramatically pathetic which can be cured by romance.", but were these type of characters the fuel to your RP?

we had very little amount of characters that acted emo. though we did have characters that had their fair share problems though as this was character development RP, these problems would be resolved in one way or another

Haha, why? Do you like it? I have another character development RP called, "To the Edge of the World!", where the god of time will grant the wishes of the first seafaring crew who will reach the edge of the world and knock on his gates. All characters have a wish, and the campaign tries to resolve it too.
