Realistic or Modern cabin fever (zombie apocalypse)(closed for now)

  • — Happy Halloween!
    October 31st is best known as Halloween. It's a day full of trick or treating, costumes, ghost stories, spooky decorations, and plenty of candy to eat. But it's also a day for venturing off into spooky places and trying to scare each other for fun; and a group of friends in college is no exception. It's Halloween night and the group of friends have decided to head off into the nearby forest, planning on camping out all night and they also plan on scaring each other with ghost stories and horror stories whilst snacking on candy and other sweets.

    But as the friends are exchanging ghost stories, there's a drastic change in the atmosphere and there's an uneasy feeling lingering in the air. And if you listen closely, you can hear strange noises: grunting, growling, twigs snapping. They're not alone in this forest. Someone stumbles close to the campfire and it's... a zombie! Wait, no, that possibly cannot be a real zombie! It's just some person wearing a zombie mask, or that's just really good Halloween makeup, trying to scare them. It's working alright! Okay, they can stop now, they've had their fun!

    This person isn't letting up, they're snarling and growling, and that... makeup or mask looks too real. The guttural sounds sound inhuman.... yikes, this is a real zombie. Time to run now! Everyone splits off into different directions, running off in groups of two or three people. This zombie is not slow at all, in fact the zombie is fast and agile. But running off into the dark, especially in the forest, is not a good idea since it's easy to get lost and separated and you don't really know where you're going. And it appears that this zombie had brought along some friends too.

    You'll have to dodge trees and zombies, avoid tripping over rocks and roots in order to stay alive and soon enough you'll come upon an abandoned cabin. Perhaps it's a cabin people use to get away for a while, a vacation cabin perhaps. But no matter, it's a temporary safe place to hide from zombies. But sooner or later, everyone is going to have to make their way back into town because they can't stay in the cabin forever.

    But for now, it's time to focus on staying safe in this cabin and keeping the zombies out.

I'm interested but I'm mostly on my school computer, which had blocked discord so I probably shouldn't join... But I am in a Zombie Apocolypse fanatic right now. The question is, can we be or be like a character from a fandom?-
