Warm Up Scene | Jade Tree | Ability Extraction Process | The Mirror

A Criminal Organization has just arrived into Yokahama. Japan is where they were before, but that type of news hadn't traveled quite fast yet. They come as suspects and plot to derive the world of natural abilities. This city was just going to be another obstacle to go over. But why do they wish to take away all abilities? For one thing, it'd be to charge up the Jade Tree. The Jade Tree nestles amongst the very core of the underground, well detailed base of the Sympathy of Devils.

*Jade Tree: An emerald/jade leafed tree that sports a thick bark. It seems natural unless you point out the glowing leaves and huge size, but that's not all. Bungo Stray Dogs may not have things as disastrous as this, but I'll make it work. The Jade Tree captures stolen abilities, the power getting sent to a leaf. When the leaf grows, the magic power within the plant grows. All leaves must be filled with a ability to activate it's true nature. Even the underling of the SFDs are quite confused to why their boss wants to unleash a thing that could kill them all-but it is clearly special if the boss themselves was willing to give up their own ability for it once it is near being filled.

- I have not yet named the SFD's boss yet, but when I make their cs it'll be defined.

Kimiko, a member of one of the SFDs, is often lurking around the huge vegetation piece. But how does a ability get extracted from one's body? The future crimes within Yokahama will be showing the cases of loss from power. The extraction process is typically easy. An ability's core point is connected to the brain and flowed through several veins. The veins of someone's body will obviously be filled with more blood than enough to take the whole power, meaning a different procedure would have to be followed. The Sympathy For Devils were not so dumb to just try and fiddle with someone's brain while they were asleep-no! Such pathetic surgery would kill the target.

Since the SFDs have came from outside the city of Yokahama, different rules would have applied and so would items. The Book-if one were to write in it's contents, the following would come true. People better be precise, since the next events might not just go correctly. Well, as much as that may appear to be in the current city, similar items had been found by this roleplay's ace antagonist. A mirror. A Hand mirror to be exact. At first glance, it may just look like a normal item but that's not the case.

*The Mirror: If the holder let's ones reflection glint against the glass, all the mirrors within the room will mirror the same reflection. This wouldn't help much from it's so far explanation, but it does a lot more. If a different person were to look or touch one of the mirrors the share all the same reflections (other than the main mirror itself), the target would be sucked into a different subspace. In reality, just on the other side of the glass. The reflections would return back to normal as if it hadn't 'eaten any humans' beforehand. Yet, there is also a loophole to this. The Sympathy For Devils realized if a person could be sucked into the mirror, the ability would too. The aftermath power of the mirror, optional at the least, would be able to let out the occupant it contained through it's glass. The boss of the SFDs has managed to get a way to keep the power of the victim stuck inside the mirror, but not quite within the body that would be let out. Perhaps one of the only chances to stop the SFDs, in the other two organizations POV, would to turn the mirror against the SFDs themselves.

It's easier said than done. After the keeping of the ability is confined in the mirror, the member of the SFD would just lend it over to the Jade Tree. Only one mirror existed, meaning only one member would be able to extract an ability, or abilities, at once.
