Oh maaaaan! I absolutely adore BSD along with the variety of the characters!


I can't honestly pick one solid favorite as they have all found a special place in my heart.


Can't wait for the next weeks episode as my main OTP's have gotten a lot of screen time recently ~

I adore Bungou Stray Dogs! Dazai is by far my favorite character. I read the manga before watching the anime, though, so it lowkey sucks when you know what's gonna happen.

[/QUOTE]BSD is actually the first time I've been caught up with the manga while also watching the anime (I don't read a lot of manga tbh), and in my opinion at least, it's really exciting! Every week I end up screaming about "OMG SOUKOKU NEXT WEEK" or "SHIN SOUKOKU FIGHT!!!" or, in this case, "Omg I can't wait to see the innocent farmer boy pick up a car and scare the crap out of everyone, also HIGUCHI!!" plus the constant lowkey excitement for Q, Corruption!Chuya, and SSKK vs. Fitzgerald later on (assuming they cover the entire Guild arc).

I saw like six episodes yesterday and I really enjoyed it. I have four? more episodes to watch before I'm caught up and then I think I'll check out the manga. i low key ship dazai and atsushi

Hurry hurry hurry Dazatsu is nice, I ship it myself, but OH MAN just wait until you see Dazai interact with Chuya in episodes 9 and 10. And when you read the manga... if you're not sold on Soukoku (Dazai/Chuya) already by the time you get to it, chapter 31 is pretty much guaranteed to seal the deal. In fact, my icon and signature are both taken from that chapter because my god I am obsessed with it, between sleeping Q and bickering Soukoku and Corruption it's all just so much great stuff bundled into one chapter and I'll stop now because none of this really means much to you yet aha

I just searched who Chuya is an d he is hot I SPOILED MYSELF A BIT IN THE WIKA BUT "Chuya is hot-headed, and can't stand even a minute with Dazai by his side as both of them will always taunt each other to no end" I already ship it man

@Yumekibo CHUYA IS SO PRETTY???? SOMEONE I KNOW EDITED HIM WITH A BUNCH OF RIDICULOUS HAIR COLORS AND STUFF AND NO MATTER WHAT... HE ALWAYS LOOKS GOOD.... CHUYA IS IMPOSSIBLE


But yeah, they bicker constantly and frequently tell each other to just die already (mostly Chuya to Dazai), but in the end their actions speak louder than their words--beneath it all they really do seem to care about each other. There's a damn good reason Soukoku is the most popular ship. Now if only they would ADMIT IT TO EACH OTHER... OR THEMSELVES

and Dazai is so cute man his personality is the best. I love characters that act dumb but then they can get super serious and it's like whoa

@Yumekibo Yeah man, there was a hashtag going around the Twitter side of the fandom for a few days recently about explaining the series badly and one of the more popular ones I posted was "Bandage wasting idiot is actually not an idiot, secretly planned everything". It's... scary, sometimes, just how far ahead Dazai plans and how everything always goes just as he intends, but I guess it's no surprise considering he was trained directly under the Port Mafia's current head, a man known for his logic. I RP as Dazai and I'm always worried if I'm OOC because there's like 5 different ways he could portray himself and I'm afraid I might use the wrong "version" at the wrong time... >_<"

@ItsCursorBby I would totally just pm you but I can't do that till it's been 24 hours and I have ten posts. "Bandage wasting idiot" YeS Dazai is just such an original character it's surreal. Like he's character that's obsessed with suicide but then in episode two when he's stuck in the trash or whatever he's like "no i don't like going through pain please help me get out". Wowow I have never RPed as an actual character from a show because I feel that I wouldn't be able to accurately portray the character I would feel the exact same as you if I actually bothered trying.
