It is a new era. An era of new hope and peace. A terrific battle between the Port Mafia and the Detective Agency had just occurred, finally ending the war between good and evil. Unfortunately, only two remains alive in this world... One's name is Osamu Dazai, sealed inside an unbreakable barrier which holds him underground. The other, Yukichi Fukuzawa, leader of the Detective Agency. Fortunately, the entirety of the Port Mafia has been wiped off the face of the earth... However, a common rhythm with the earth and its events is peace does not last long. A new evil is brewing... And along with new evil comes new heroes who's duties are to fight off this new-found villain.
However, this villain is one that is different compared to the previous ones. Haido Okawachi was his name, and upon rejecting an offer to join the Detective Agency, he has started causing chaos from all around Japan and the rest of the world. His ability? He can summon mythical creatures... However, the strength of the minions that he summons depends on how many blood he sheds before summoning the creature. His base is unknown and without the intelligence of Rampo Edogawa, there is no way for the Detective Agency to find out where this villain currently stands.
The only person that holds a clue is Dazai... Yet, he is untouchable within the barrier that has sealed him. Although the Detective Agency has a key in which can break the gate, action speaks louder than words. The top priority of the agency is to get to Dazai (Of course, with minions involved), break him out of the seal and defeat Haido Okawachi... And they are sending out three of their most talented agents.
