Bump Button

Just to clarify...


The purpose of the bump button is to move your thread back to the top of the list, as if someone had replied.


I would like to see one of these added to the forum, because I think it would be much more handy than having to write 'bump', and then have that post counted towards the reply total. A small detail, I know, but it just seems a lot more convenient to me. It obviously wouldn't be placed on the top of the projects list. xD Perhaps the back burner?

I think that's a very good idea, but I have a feeling if there was in fact a bump button, the power would be abused.


You could imagine bump wars, as people viciously battle it out for the position at the top of the list.


It might be convenient as a VIP option though, or a way of earning profit for the site,

I think what would need to happen if this feature did come to RpN, there would need to be some set rules. Don't use the bump button unless your thread has fallen off the first page and things of that nature. If someone is found abusing the bump button, it could be grounds for report.
