Fantasy Brother's Grim Academy

Isabella

Member
In a world where all the fairy tale stories were divided by countries, an evil queen set up a plot. Erase all the memories of every one except her. By the stroke of midnight all over the countries, a large purple cloud covered the sky erasing all the memories of everyone. The adults had suddenly received a letter saying You have been chosen to work under Headmistress Neferet Ukara Dredd. Soon invitations went to all of the characters saying You have been enrolled to the Brother's Grim Academy.

A letter was sent to students and teachers for telling them a welcome to the school. Many of the students had different classrooms with adventures filling in for them. Each student was given a teacher a specific class was held by Leveret O'Hare. The class was filled with different people from different stories. From Beauty and the beast all the way to Alice in wonderland and little red riding hood.

The bell was seconds away, people were rushing to get to the class as well as one. Well not really. She took her time walking. Her straight blonde hair swayed as she walked. She was 16 and sadly with no one to talk to. Her name was Izzy. She passed by many others who didn't bother going to class either while she hid a bottle of soda in her bag.

Humming filled the air as Samuel made his way to his new school. He had recently gotten a letter informing him that he had been successfully enrolled to the Brother's Grim Academy. He didn't know too much about this school other than the fact it was a very good one and lead by the Headmistress Neferet Ukara Dredd."Quite the exquisite name, If I do say so myself!"

"I guess so... It seems weird to me." Samuel conversed in his head. The thought of his first day at this school made him a little nervous but he tried to calm himself, otherwise his... mad side would show.

"Ah, so this is it. Brother's Grim Academy." His hat was given a small twirl in the air through his new-found energy. There were a lot of students scurrying around trying to make it to their classes. "Why such a rush?! They should enjoy this beauty of a school!" He almost sounded like it offended him. After getting his top hat Samuel continued his way patiently walking towards his class.

Ryker stepped onto the school grounds, taking in the sight. Earlier in the day, he received a letter saying that he was accepted into the Brother's Grim Academy. He didn't really care much for it, but hey, it was education. He'll just fool around during class and make friends. Ryker took his time walking to his class, which meant he got there a little bit late. He sat down in a desk next to the window and peered outside. What is this school all about, anyway?

Eloise was not one to be late during class, especially on her first day. She had gotten a letter about her acceptance to this academy, and was intent on making sure she did well here. She had gotten her schedule as soon as she could, scanning her classes to make sure that she knew where she would be headed. Still, she didn't hesitate to try to take in the school's architecture and design.

She noticed that some students were moving slower, as if they didn't want to go to class. She never understood why people sometimes skipped class without a good reason. If they were activists for some sort of cause, it would be understandable. But skipping class for the pure fun of it wasn't too great in her opinion. Of course, if she had friends to skip with and she would have fun, she would probably do it once or twice. She didn't consider grades and classes of the utmost importance, but rather wanted to avoided any trouble with the staff.

She entered into her classroom a minute early, grabbing a random seat. She brushed a curly strand of blonde hair behind her ear and tried to focus on what the teacher was saying. After a short while, a guy came leisurely in, a little late. On our first day, too, she thought silently.

Ryker turned to the teacher and listened for a few moments. Gah, how do kids actually listen to this without stopping? Ryker decided to look around the classroom to find someone to annoy or fool around with. He spotted a girl with curly blonde hair, intently listening to the teacher (Eloise). Ryker coughs once to get her attention, then stares at her.

As he's waiting for a reply, he drowns in his random thoughts. I wonder, does anyone actually enjoy school? Sure, some people enjoy being around their friends or something, but do they really like school itself? Learning and listening to a teacher that drones on and on about things you probably won't need later in life, does that appeal to anyone?

Not getting any kind of response, Ryker coughs another time. This time, louder and more obnoxious.

Samuel made it to his class, albeit a bit late. The teacher was already talking to students when he walked in. He gave an odd little laugh at sat down. A few kids whispered among themselves, another had a cough or was forcing it, and then others just sat there doing their own thing. "Ah!" He said a little loudly getting a few glances, he had forgotten to take off his hat and did so then. Someone soon came out to play.

"Riddle time! The word 'he' starts and ends two common words. One is painful in love, the other painful in everyday matter. Do you know what the two words I must be thinking of are?"

"I believe we're in class right now and thus have zero time for this nonsense."

"Just do it, this bores me. The classroom doesn't attract me so as did the outer walls."

Samuel got bored of arguing and gave in. "Fine! But only because we've already missed a great deal of knowledge from the teacher and I'd prefer not to waste more by spending my delicate time arguing with you. Alas, this is an easy riddle. Heartache and Headache. One of which you're giving me."

After he mumbled over the fact that he knew the answer to his riddle he talked no longer and disappeared. With that, Samuel turned his attention back to the teacher.

((This feels so weird to write because both the voices are Samuel but he doesn't know that and so he's talking to himself the entire time and it's murp. ovo))

Eloise was trying to pay attention in class, hoping that she could possibly be a good student until she had to do something against the rules. She wasn't really a rule follower when it came to a cause close to her heart...then she would break any rules in her way. It was hard to see at first glance that she could be a hardcore rebel if she really had to. She heard a coughing, but ignored it. At the second, more obnoxious cough, she turned to the person who coughed, who was unsurprisingly the person who was late. Her expression was a mix of mostly concern and curiosity, with a touch of irritation. She was irritated that he was coughing so much in class, but also curious as to why. She was also concerned that there was a chance he might be sick. If so, she did not want to catch this cold of his. However, she gave him a mild look that questioned why he was coughing. What do you want?

She was vaguely aware of another student that was beginning to speak to himself. A riddle, perhaps? She liked riddles, but tended to stay away from them. She would get frustrated if she couldn't solve it.

Ryker was satisfied due to the fact that he got her attention. She held a neutral look on her face and Ryker could not decipher what she was thinking. He held up his index finger and wrote something on a piece of paper, "I forgot what I was going to say, as your beautiful face distracted me."

He threw the note to the girl's desk when the teacher wasn't looking. He continued to look out of the window, taking in the scenery. Outside, it looked pretty much like normal. I hope I earn her trust, He thought to himself, Oh, the tricks I'll be able to play. Ryker devises a plan for her. He knows he shouldn't plan so much ahead, knowing that there is a chance he might fail, but he thinks it's the most perfect one yet.

A note landed lightly on her desk, thrown by the cougher. Bewildered and curious, she unfolded the piece of paper and read it, her cheeks tinged the softest shade of pink from surprise that would not seem abnormal to anyone. She gave a quick side glance to the cougher and saw that he had turned his gaze back to the window. Hesitantly looking at the teacher to make sure she wasn't seen, she quickly scribbled a reply in flourished handwriting under his words: Well, a tree just cried because of my so called beauty, so maybe you can please save your paper. With a satisfied light tap at the end for the period, she folded the note back up and, catching the right moment, tossed the note back to him. She was relieved and satisfied when the note slid and landed lightly on his desk.

Receiving the note back, Ryker was excited to read the reply. As he read what she wrote, he laughed quite loud. He scribbles down another message: "A sassy one, huh?" He smirks, then under that he writes: "Sit by me at lunch? We can be all poetic and share a hot pocket." Not caring about the teacher anymore, he throws the note back to her and rests his shoes on the desktop. There's a janitor anyways, he's nothing without some mess.

Ryker grins at his actions and turns to look at the girl. Not knowing whether or not she's actually looking, he winks and moves his gaze to the teacher who is currently drawing a diagram of something on the board. Teachers are always terrible drawers, Ryker thought, giving an amused "hmph". He looks around and notices he's drawn most of the attention in the room towards him.

Eloise was a bit shocked to see the note land on her desk in plain view of the teacher. Ugh, this is so awful. Notes on the first day of class. She wouldn't care as much if it were the middle of the school year, but first days were always days to behave properly in her opinion. Gingerly, she opened the note and read the words without so much of a twitch. In the same flourished handwriting, she wrote back: Maybe. Or not, since I'm hoping to sit with any friends I'll make today. She had underlined friends to emphasize that being poetic and sharing a hot pocket with a guy who could have a cold was not the ideal first day of school, where you made friends and tried to make chitchat and bond. She carefully tossed the note back, catching a glimpse of the wink. She regretted it soon after, because she realized that by now the room had noticed him putting his feet up on the desk and was curiously looking his way.

As the wind blew through the trees along the way, a young man walked with light steps and a letter in one of his hands. The letter was delivered to him by the time he was accepted to Brother's grim Academy.

The young man, Cicero, stopped for a second to take a closer look at the letter, he hadn't read it through completely since it was too long for his taste. He quickly put it back in the pocket of his black jacket and sighed once. By the time he reached the building, his legs felt like they were going to break and his body felt heavier than usual. Normally, Cicero would take his bike wherever he went since had a long way into town, but he thought that a walk would be a good idea, and so he walked all the way into town regretting his decision.

A hint of a smile appeared on Ciceros separated lips when he saw his destination and he let out a heavy sigh of relief.

*SLAM*

Leveret had smacked the book in his hand back to the desk. "As this is the first class.. I didn't mind that Some of you were late.. It's a new thing for many of you, as it is for me." Leveret turned slightly and took his cane and with slow but heavy steps he walked to the tables between Eloise and Ryker, a paper in his hand with a pocket watch dangling in it's bronze chain, the ticking could easily be heard in the sudden silence of the class. "Mister Ryker.. How are you today.." Leveret said in a cold whisper. "I assure you.. I can be a bore.. My teachers were so.. I can be a friend.. And-" Leveret went silent and with one swift movement he had stabbed the cane between Ryker's legs. "I can also be a very.. Angry man.. Sit straight mister Ryker, and next time." Leveret leaned closer to the young teenager and whispered.

"
Don't be late..." Leveret straightened himself up and gave a smile to the rest of the class. Having put the paper and the watch away, Leveret eloquently took the note, opening it and read it out loud for Ryker.

"
Maybe. Or not, since I'm hoping to sit with any friends I'll make today." Leveret smiled at Ryker and Eloise, a cold smile.

With that done, Leveret took his cane again and turned and walked back to his desk. "
All right students. Since we are all pretty new around here I want you to pair up in groups of two or three, no more and of course no less." Leveret said more cheerily. "I want you all to talk about yourself to each other and once you've all been acquainted, I will want you to discuss about your futures and write it down for me. Simple for a first class. But do not expect of course.. That it'll all be this easy." Leveret smiled to each and every student and picked up his book and continued reading it, his eyes shifted sporadically between the book and the rest of the class.

Samuel listened to the teacher intently after he slammed a book onto his desk. Surprisingly someone didn't decide to make a remark on it and kept the peace in Samuel's head last longer. He noticed the teacher whisper into Ryker's ear and read out a note passed between him and another student that he didn't know the name of. Then the teacher said he wanted everyone to get into groups up two-to-three people.

"Ooo, something to fuel my boredom. I am liking this teacher already!"

"Why? This isn't a good thing. At least not for the current situation. We know no one here." With a sigh, Samuel stood up and put his top hat upon his head. It was always awkward for him to meet new people. He tried to go up to a few people but fumbled his words and just went back to his desk. It was probably a better idea for him to do that because his anxiety was rising a bit and that could easily set him off. It already began with his hands twitching. When everyone found their groups he would just join with whoever needed someone, if anyone did, or if he was invited to join someone else. "Why can't I just count you as a second person? That'd make it so much easier." He mumbled aloud.

Walking away from her class, Izzy started to laugh as she walked to the courtyard seeing now no one in the halls. "I guess people really like school." She thought to herself. At a glance she was disgusted about the acceptance letter, she didn't even apply. She took it out as she slid her red hood down to red it. "Let's see, welcome to the school...blah blah blah..." She looked through the entire thing and sighed then walked to a class where the hatter (Samuel) was. Once walking in she kept quiet as she gave the teacher a note explaining she doesn't like crowds.

~Sugareyes Moonbud~

Mrs. Moonbud entered her office and sighed. What is the point in this? She thought, I am too old to be doing all these paper works. She sat down on the chair, behind the table that have a sign says 'Vice Principle' on the top right corner of the table. She start looking through paper works that was already on her table. She looked through student's profile and try to remember all their names.

Izzy took a seat next to the window due to it being the last seat. She slid her hood off once more and looked at the sky the entire time Mr. Plestil spoke. Seeing that she was next to Samuel, her gaze went to the sky again. "There better be gym class here or else I'm screwed.." She slid in her seat resting her head on the wooden desk.

"It appears that, by my scientific studies, that your plan is, in fact, not working. You should do something about that."

"It appears that, by simple logic, that what you said is quite damned obvious, Sherlock. Why don't you do anything about it? Oh, right. I'm in control. Not you. Hush."

"For now..."

Samuel was getting annoyed by it and looked to the girl who had taken a seat next to him. "Hey, uh... Not to bother you but, you're alone and so am I..." He hesitated for a second, and his leg began to twitch,

"Don't you dare, not right now!" After a few deep breaths he continued. "So, are you fine with grouping up together?"

Gretel threw the door opened wide and saw a male teacher (@Sigismund ) talking. "Sorry I'm late!" She said then turned to the class, "I'm Getelisa but you can call me Lisa or Gretel, whichever you prefer." She walk towards the back of the cclass room and took a sit at the very back then watch the teacher. He doesn't look that strict, she thought, I wonder when we get to do gym...

She looked at him softly. "Yeah... I'm Izzy." She smiled a bit. Her hands slid her hair out of the hood pulling it up. "What's your name?" Her attention left the window and the teacher she looked to him not caring about the class.

Cicero walked with fast footsteps towards his class, all the while flickering with his eyes to get a better look of the inside of the building. He continued to walk until he reached a door that looked like one to a classroom. As his mind took a wild guess, he quickly opened the door and to his surprise, he actually reached his class. Ciceros eyes wandered over to the teacher, Leveret, a man dressed in a red jacket and a pair of white ears reached out from the top of his head.

"Sorry I'm late, I.. uh.. kind of got lost" He lied with a small, slightly mishievous smile and walked inbetween the benches and sat down in the back by the window.

(From tomorrow, I'll be on vacation for two weeks, it's possible that I'll be able to reply but I'm not going to be as active)

"Oh my god, thank you."

"Samuel. Samuel Tanner. You could also call me Sam if you so wish." He replied while grabbing his top hat in his right hand and doing a bow, limited by his seat. It sort of failed but that didn't matter to Samuel as he always liked to bow when greeting someone new. "So, what do you plan on doing in your future?" He asked a little dramatically by softly clenching his fingers into his hand and releasing them into the air, and according to what the teacher said they should talk about.

((Hopefully you get what I mean, I don't know how to describe it exactly. Like when people are like "Something with a bit of flash!" -inserthandgesturehere-))

"I don't know yet." She smiled softly. "What are you going to do in the future?" She asked softly as she turned her body to face him. Ignoring what the teacher said she slowly moved her desk right next to his. Her blue eyes smiled as she looked at him.

Adam. Hated. Crowds. He was more accustomed to the wide spacious rooms and halls of his home, and the small handful of people he lived with. Rather uncomfortable, he fidgeted in his seat in the classroom. He wasn't in the mood to be here, or to be in a cramped desk, or to listen to all these people. At least the teacher Mr. O'hare was productive. But their first task? Discuss with someone what they wish to do with their lives? Oh come on! He did not feel like talking with people, especially about that! Adam growled quietly and let his head fall onto his desk with a *bang*.
