Fandom Brothers Grim Academy (Reboot)

"Oh... Um..." The wolf's cheeks flushed pink as he noticed the girl's gaze wander to his... Rather odd features, but even then the thoughts of why he might've tried to call her Red persisted and clouded his focus momentarily before a girl came crashing in.

"Actually, I think we were going to go... Look for directions? If I knew the scents around here better... I would be able to tell you, but for now I believe maybe one of the teachers would be our best bet, Miss Alice." He was surprised at how social he was being, it was unusual to say the least but he'd gathered a fair three acquaintances and each of the lovely young ladies in his presence seemed to have their own fun personality, though his mind focused on one who seemed... Ever so familiar... Who was this-

"Oh, what a lovely name... And from what ive seen...It truly suits you,
Ruby~" His cool voice slithered, echoing faintly in the nigh empty hall, his silver eyes drifted, having passed by a few teachers earlier he was sure to be able to track them down if he needed to.

"Hmm... Well... Shall we find out where our classes are?" He doubted he'd have a class with any of them, being a senior, but they still needed to find their classes before they were too late.

Belle listened to the peculiar girl with interest she liked her hairbow it looked a little like her blue one. "No I am really lost," Belle said turning away from the Brody wolf and his red hooded conpanion. "But we could walk around and try and find a teacher," she said smiling at Brody and Alice "That would be great," she said to brody studying the brooding look in her eyes "I'm in the senior excelerated Classes belle," Feeling excited to learn she knew she was weird but it was the truth. "can you help me find my dorm first." Belle said to brody.

@The Doorman

~* Ruby Valerie Rose *~

Ruby caught Brody's cheeks flush pink, making her feel much more at ease. He was enjoying her company. She wasn't a total loser after all.

Ruby nodded, but didn't answer to the suggestion of finding directions. Yes, maybe asking the teachers would be able to help, but Ruby didn't want to get on the wrong side of teachers. Ruby was new, so the teachers should understand, but from the looks of people in the hallway, she didn't think they were that friendly.

In that moment Belle answered, saying she would be happy to help and was in the senior excelerated classes. Ruby frowned. She didn't know her schedule yet, or even know she was a student. She was, however 17 and she guessed everyone else was around the same age. How Ruby knew that, she didn't know. Was she finally remembering who she was? Slowly it started to come to her, bit by bit.

Taking this as her cue to leave, once she felt uncomfortable that Belle needed help to find her dorm, Ruby excused herself.
"Um... I'm just gonna go then." She muttered, taking a few steps back to catch her breath. If she wondered around long enough she'd find the front office eventually.

She softly smiled and nodded towards Brody, gazing into his metallic eyes just before she wrapped her red cloak around her protectively and left down the hallway, leaving the others to their own devises.

Friends are overrated.

Alice didn't know how to respond to Belle saying she was in three accelerated classes although having a friend who was smart was not a bad thing.

"This is my first year here so I don't know much."

She smiled and looked Broody.

"A teacher would be the best, although we could also just wander around.

She got a little excited at the thought of wandering around

"Oh, it could be like an adventure. Trying to find our way around!"

She looked at the others knowing what she said was little odd.

"Sorry, I found this absolutely delightful garden today and spent the whole morning wandering around in it."

She laughed a little.

"So where should go first?"

"U-Uh... Bye Ruby!" He wasn't sure how to take her sudden leave, he was great with hellos but goodbyes left him with an empty feeling that had gotten him restraining orders and a rather nasty- Wait a second... Wait...

"Hold on... Hold on! Red- I mean- Whatever! Just-!" The wolf pushed past the girls, Belle and Alice, a strange memory in his mind that once more drew him to that dreadfully beautiful color.

"Hold on, hold on..." Boy, did that girl walk fast!

"Before you go I... I need to ask you something... I-I don't know why but it feels really important..." Any grace once in his face was replaced with one of panic, confusion, and at the same time, curiosity. His ears swiftly turned to hear any response she might have.

"D-Does 'The Huntsman' mean anything to you?" His breath was slightly shaky with his quietly fading panting, his eyes locked onto hers as a million outcomes rushed through his head. If she said yes he wasn't sure what he'd do, all he knew was that she looked too familiar to brush of so easily, she reminded him of someone but since his arrival at the school he was having a hard time thinking. Brody was a wolf... What if she ran? He wouldn't blame her, they were all students at Grimms, anything was possible.

Almost anything.

Just who was the Huntsman anyways?

The wolf had always feared him in fairytales his mother spoke of, but she always said he was the hero. But why would a hero be so quick to kill?

Garron arrived at the school, admiring the building. It was quite big, but he's sure that it is bigger if you count the other facilities surrounding it. He passed by some students, who all seemed to be getting acquainted with one another. He went over to them, wanting to get acquainted as well. He saw someone, a girl, who seemed awfully familiar. "Belle?" He asked, heading over to her. "Is that you?" He said, a smile present in his face. @Allina Auburn

Jeremy, or Scar as he would like to be called, is pacing down the hallways. He might seem like an old student, maybe someone who was held back, but in truth he is actually a teacher. A smirk is always present on his face, as if telling everyone that he's the best there is. "Ah, Maeve. I'm glad to see someone with, ah, the same background as me. I do hope this school will not be filled by those goody two shoes." He said, his voice having a pleasant English accent to it. @nynja

"What yes," Belle said turning to face a young boy around the age of 17 "I am belle, Belle Ancilla and who might you be," Belle said peering at the strange boy who seemed to know her name. She studied him his face was awfully familiar his name pounced on the edge of her tongue nearly ready to fully emerge "Beast," slipped out of her mouth she gasped and fell backwards into the floor "Is it you?," she asked as her head began to swell then she saw the boy moving his lips trying to talk but she didn't hear him because all the world was black.

In belles concussion she saw memories ones of her mother and a boy that looked a lot like the boy but peering closer towards the figures she realised the girl wasn't her mother she gasped slightly to see that her petite figure was dancing with a beast then she woke up in a cold sweat with the boy staring at her.

~* Ruby Valerie Rose *~

Ruby was having trouble leaving Brody. He was so familiar, and she felt as if she was drawn to him like a magnet. Still, she wasn't much of a people person. Alice and Belle would understand. Right? Even his awkward goodbye was cute making Ruby force herself not to smile.

As Ruby walked further down the hallway, she searched for a front office of sorts, cutting the world off around her. She was protective of her non existent memories, and the world would only distract her from her goals.

Ruby stopped and swiftly turned when she faintly heard Brody's voice calling out to her. She softly smiled. She knew there was something different (besides his wolfness) about him that seemed to make her want to be near him. Did he feel the same way?

She found him behind her, asking about a huntsman. Ruby froze. As he mentioned the huntsman and steadied his breathing, Ruby's hazel eyes locked onto his own silver ones. Reflected in his metallic eyes was an image of a tall, muscular and handsome man with an axe leaning on his right shoulder. He smiled a perfect white smile, then gracefully swung the axe hard into the snow covered ground, blood splattering across the snow messily.

Ruby blinked, shaking her head and nervously taking a step back.
"I-I..." Ruby didn't know what to think. Was that who he was talking about? A murderer? Unfortunately she didn't know who the man-the huntsman was killing, but his overly perfect frame and handmade axe was disturbing of the least. Still, she felt an attachment to the man, as if he was a parental figure in her life.

"Um... I..." Ruby didn't know what to do. She wasn't sure of herself, and why Brody asked about this mysterious man also confirmed her suspicions that Brody was too familiar to her than he should be. She slowly nodded, trying to make sense of everything. But her head just started to hurt as a result.

"I think so, but I...I don't know..." She answered. "Why?" She asked, wanting to settle this subtle obsession with finding out why Brody was so familiar now. Secretly she hoped Brody was connected to her past in some way. The events behind them were distant, Ruby not giving a second glance.

He was so happy to see her, going over towards her. He was about to say something when she collapsed. He rushed to her and knelt beside her, checking her pulse. She's alive, but she somehow blacked out. "Come on, come on." He nervously said, holding her hand. He was so relieved to see her wake up, looking dazed but otherwise fine. "Oh thank god." He said, hugging Belle. "What happened? Are you alright?"

Alice stood there alone again. She started walking down the hall again mumbling a question that she always thought about.

"Why is a raven like a writing desk."

She walked down the hall and found a map.

"Ah, just what I was looking for."

She scanned the map for a moment before walking again. She had nowhere to be so she decided to wander a bit to see who she could meet.

"Um I just do that sometimes," Belle said lying her lips twitching a sure tell way to tell if she was lying but hopefully the boy didn't know that.

She removed herself away from the strange boys hug and looked him over she pulled out her book of fairytales and skimmed the page until she found one called the beauty and beast she looked at the picture of the so called "Prince Adam" she gasped and shoved the book back into her bag knowing that the world had just changed for good. "I was told to go and check the dorm assignments," Belle said clasping Garron's hand and pulling him towards the bulletin board.

The wolf felt his heart stop a moment, he knew this girl, he definitely knew this girl.

"I knew your scent was too familiar..." He clutched the front of his shirt as the painful memory flashed through his mind.

"Earlier... Didn't you... Say something... Something about my eyes? I-I think I understand now... I mean, you were a year too young to remember but... I'm sorry..." He swallowed but the knot in his throat made it an impossible feat.

"I never did get to find out what could create such a wonderful smell... How is your grandmother doing? I hope she's well, I-" What was he saying? These words made sense but at the same time he wasn't sure why, if he really said he didn't know he'd be lying, maybe he should just go back to being the big bad guy... No, those times were over... He couldn't go back to something so petty, even if it was because he was-

"Ah, sorry... This is all so strange for me, I won't try to make you understand, Red... Sorry, Ruby..." Brody's nails unhooked themselves from his clothing and he looked back at Ruby,

"Ah, I'm such a mess, aren't I... My meaning was that I believe we've met before..." The blonde was doing a terrible job at playing his words as if they meant nothing, he'd meant everything, he'd been such a troublemaker when he was younger... Now that he thought of the huntsman he remembered his fears, how much this girl tried to avoid him... We're Ruby and Red one and the same? Was the huntsman really the one to send him into that state of amnesia? He was still putting the pieces together so many years later... Over a decade had passed, how could he possibly think this girl was the same girl? He was just a dumb dog, after all, yes, it was just him being dumb... But how could she seem so familiar, surely they had to have met somewhere at sometime along the way.

I should've known... But things were always so different after the incident...

In those fairy tales told to children...

Even Grimms' weren't entirely accurate.

He saw her lips twitched when she said it, but he chose to ignore it, to dismiss it as a coincidental thing. He was just so relieved that she had not been hurt. He was quite surprised when she pulled out a book, which he had not seen the title of, and she gasped. He was about to ask what was wrong when she pulled him to the bulletin board. "Okay. So, what room are you?" He asks her, looking for his own room.

212," belle responded "Roomed with Ariel," Belle nearly gasped at the name remembering yet another fairy tale but just labelling it a a freaky coincidence. She pulled Garren along to the dorms and saw a handsome sailor boy heading into the room next to hers she called Garren over and showed him his room before rushing into hers quickly to find a dark evil looking figure standing in her room her contoured cheekbones showing one emotion disgust and outrage sitting on a rolling desk chair a 30 something queen dressed in red was looking at her with a slight smirk on her face belle expected it might have something to do with her story book.

@Sukiyaki @Kattz

"Scar." The slender woman said his name in greeting, a sly smile crawling across her face. "Don't worry about it, there are plenty of us here." Hearing a squeak come from the other teacher's pockets, Maeve rolled her eyes. "Is it really necessary for you to have mice with you at all times?"

He grinned, his sharp, bestial fangs showing. He reached into his pocket, pulling out one mouse, holding the tail in between his oh so sharp nails, closley resembling claws. "I am sure you are right, there are a lot of us. A lot of competition." He said, dangling the mouse by its tail. "Oh but of course, after all, where would I get my snack?" He said, snapping the neck of the poor thing and chomping on it, swallowing it whole.

~* Ruby Valerie Rose *~

Ruby gazed into his metallic silver eyes, searching for an answer.

He clutched the front of his shirt, and muttered that he knew her scent was too familiar. Ruby frowned. She felt betrayed, being out of the loop like this. She didn't know anything! Or, more accurately, she didn't remember anything. How was he so darn familiar? Why was it that she felt a powerful magnetic pull towards him, the chemistry sparking like wild fire.

It was no coincidence she felt this way. Brody again complicated things when he went on about Ruby mentioning his large eyes, and how she was a year too young to remember. Remember what? Ruby couldn't even remember her own past, let alone what he was rambling on about. He apologised, but what for?

Brody continued, talking about wonderful smells, and her grandmother. How did he know her grandmother? He said it was all strange for him, but how could it? Ruby didn't even know what he was talking about. This was frustrating, especially if your trying to remember something you weren't even aware you had forgotten. And the normalcy in spitting out 'Red' instead of 'Ruby' was parallel.

Then he said what they both were thinking, that he thought they had met before. No shit sherlock. Ruby slightly nodded, now clutching her cloak tight enough to make her knuckles white. She was shivering, but not from the cold. She desperately wanted to remember, and this feeling of nostalgia wouldn't go away, even if she didn't have anything to remember. This want, this need to remember masked her desire for anything else. She knew this was her priority now, and if Brody had something to do with it, then he needed to be a part of her journey too.

"Brody." She whispered, hopefully calming him down as she let go of her cloak and placed a hand on his chest. She wasn't aware she had averted his gaze as he spoke, but now his mesmerising eyes met hers. "Help me." She started. "You and I both know there is something that isn't adding up, like a puzzle piece is missing from a beautiful, elaborate picture. I want to find that missing piece. Will you help me?"

@The Doorman

She watched Scar swallow the squeaking mouse whole, impressed, yet a bit disgusted. "You're vile," she grinned. "But I like that." Her yellow, almost golden eyes flashed at his mentioning of competition. "A lot of competition indeed. Too bad these students are too stupid to realize what's really going on."

The wolf flinched, the fur on his tail rising and falling in a single wave as the girl touched his chest. Did she mean him? Of course not, but then... What could the red-cloaked lady think was missing from this 'puzzle' what puzzle? He didn't see a puzzle, though this must've been a metaphor for their singular predicament. Brody sighed, inhaling the chilled air of the school and exhaling a breath of warm air.

"I-I'm sorry... What must I do to make this message clearer to you?" The wolf said, ears flicking again as he looked back to her hazel eyes. To be honest, he was afraid, he was worried, but he was too curious to back down, since his arrival nothing made sense and he felt that it should all make sense, but how could it when he hadn't remembered of his transitions until he'd shifted?

What was going on today to make the world so confusing?

Alice wandered around a bit before spotting a board with all the faculty pictures and what they did. She looked over the photos before realizing one looked oddly familiar.

"Rosalind Carroll."

Something did not seem right about her. For some reason all she could hear in her head was a long lecture on manners and something about how the land is cut into squares.

"Like a chessboard."

She decided that she was just imagining things and continue her walk.

Rosalind primped herself in the staff lounge while staring into her compact's mirror. She wasn't sure whether to find her new boss a nuisance for practically dethroning her and making her a teacher or a genius for getting everyone under such order. Well however she was to feel about the situation she now found herself in, the Red Queen had an English class to teach.

Scar grinned, feeling the mouse go down his throat. Oh how he loves doing that. Live prey just tastes infinitely better than the dead and cooked ones. He can't understand why most of them would rather have a cooked meal than a live prey, they must have weak stomachs. "Yes, I don't think anyone knows any of it. But if somebody somehow realizes it, then I'll be having a good dinner." He said, licking his lips in anticipation.

Ms. Dread glared at the sound of children all around her was maddening. She seems to regret the fact of turning all of them into a students instead of field mice. "Hmmm scar would have his fun with that, maybe next time." She smiled evilly and then walked over to her desk and looked at the student roster. "A few possible annoyances, no one truly harming as of yet." Ms. Dread smiled and continued to read some of the faculty information.
