The New Girl
Just as Brookfield began to change drastically a new bird flew into town, bringing out curiosity and perhaps the worst in some of the local residence. The Newbie attracts enough attention to distract from the murders. The Newbie also catches on the "abnormal" atmosphere of this seemingly innocent small town. Ruling the school with an iron fist, Queenie doesn't let the school forget who she is, no matter the direness of the situation. She is loved and feared amongst all students at Brookfield High and is most definitely seen hanging with the "IT" crowd. TAKEN- CosmicBoii

The Goodie Two Shoes
Doesn't break the rules, doesn't party, gets great grades. Or at least that's the image this one built for themselves. History (2+ paragraphs): Skylar Naomi was born into a broken family. Her father was apart of the gang in the town known as the "Seaside Sharks." and her mother was an absolute nobody. Her mother at the time of her birth had been sober from any type of drug for almost a year, unfortunately, pain pills given to her for pain after Skylar's birth caused her mother to relapse and only a month or so after she was born, she lost her mother to an overdose on Meth. Her father wasn't always around like he should have been and Skylar was being raised her and there by other gang members and their families. Because of her ties with the gang that always seems to be nothing but trouble, Skylar doesn't have a natural place amongst normal high school society.

Screwy, as she is so "affectionately" called is because for brief time during Skylar's life, she too had issues with drugs. Screwball was the name given to her by some of the members of Seaside who have found that Skylar doesn't tend to think like others. "Has a few screws loose" As they would say about her most of the time, similarly enough, her mother had been the same way. Skylar use to hate the nickname and felt as she was being teased constantly, but as time grew on, she'd grown into it...using her name as a way to push people as far away as she could, which she always wants. Skylar doesn't fit in with any "IT" crowd and is often just seen writing in her one of many notebooks or typing on the computer the school lends her for the school newspaper, "The Brookfield Daily."

When you look at someone like Lisbeth, you usually think they come from the perfect household. Well, she’s Daddy’s Little Girl but her life outside of school isn’t quite perfect. They aren’t rich, they’re just right. Even more so, Lizzie’s father is constantly at work.

When she was five, Lizzie’s father began working more often. Her mother was still alive, but it didn’t change as she grew older. By the time she was eleven, she’d witnessed her dad bringing home a strange woman on the nights her mom worked. He was the least bit faithful. Though he had begged his daughter not to tell her mother as long as he gave her as many gifts as she could possibly imagine. Lizzie grew up with a lack of trust in others, it was better to take someone’s secrets to hold it against others. That’s all she really believed in. The family wasn’t perfect by any means - the only child of the Reynold’s family was being bribed by her father with gifts and money to keep secret from her mother that he was cheating on her with another woman. He had once promised Lizzie that he would stay away from the strange girl, but it appeared that wasn’t exactly the case - she’d recently seen them together again - after her mother’s death. Now it wasn’t cheating, Lizzie’s mother had been dead for three years, but she had been made a promise from her father that the woman wouldn’t be a part of their lives again. She didn’t want to see the face of the woman who stole her father’s love from his dead wife.

Since her father’s one action, Lizzie has always been mistrusting of others. She thought it best to have other’s secrets to hold it against them and okay to lash out on anyone who wronged her. This wasn’t to say she was a complete stone cold bitch all of the time, she could be nice to those she wanted to be nice with, but her outer shell was what you saw first. It’s far easier that way, especially in a school setting, when you hold the power of the social hierarchy.

History​

Reagan’s father was a Marine, and his mother a local attorney. Being born while his father was deployed on his last tour, his mother was left alone to raise their son for the first year of his life. But his father returned, but not as his mother knew. Ill-tempered and a drunk, Reagan’s mother knew the mess she lived in...
Over the years Reagan only knew his mother, until at the age of 14 she couldn’t take it anymore, leaving him behind in her hurried fury. Stuck alone with the monster of a father, Reagan retreated to football. Becoming a walk-on his freshman year, spending it bulking up and growing to try for the varsity wide receiver spot, in which he got by a landslide. Keeping good grades as well as football was able to distract him for the most part, until one day he got home, and no one was home... No one. Usually his father was passed out by time he got home from practice, but silent. Later to find out his father had abandoned him, Reagan came to the realization he was alone in this world.
His grandparents send money, knowing of his situation, but are to unabled to do much. Not having to get a job yet, although he may need one soon, the worst part is this. No one at school knows his situation, a well-guarded secret he keeps kicked & chained from his peers.

  History:
  Jerome parents separated when he was ten years old. His father was a criminal, often committing robberies, stealing cars and smuggling drugs. His mother just wanted the family to go clean and make an honest living. Though the boy went to live with his mother, he idolised his father and would go see him on the way home from school as well as weekends. Jerome was impressionable and his father was some bad-ass criminal in his eyes. The pocket money from his father was always pretty substantial when the man had completed a successful job.
  
  In school, Jerome was a highly intelligent student but he never displayed his full potential during class. He was too busy messing around with his friends or spending his time sat outside the headmaster's office. At 14, he was expelled from one school and had to join another. His bad behaviour didn't change. It surprised everyone except Jerome himself when he passed all of his exams. It disappointed his mother that he chose to do nothing with his intelligence. Instead of going to college and university, he found himself worked as a mechanic, fulfilling his love for cars and motorbikes.
  
  Five years ago, Jerome's father was sent to prison for murder and armed robbery, after a job went wrong. He didn't like that his father had killed an innocent man, but it still didn't stop him from caring about him. Much to his mother's disappointment, the only lesson Jerome seemed to have learned from his father's imprisonment is to "not get caught". Every couple of weeks, he visits his father in jail, despite hating the place, the guards and the whole visitation process.
  
  Jerome has known Jace for quite a few years and after his friend's rival gang, the Sharks, didn't pay in full for a job he did on one of their cars, he's had it in for them since. Choosing to ally himself with the Brookfield Bandidos a few years ago, he has no issue with fighting or standing up to their rival gang. He will gladly jump to the defence of his gang members and provides backup to Jace when required.

jace was protective over his little sister, skylar, since day one. jace was a quiet child growing up, staying near the corners of the room and lurking in the shadows. after the death of jace's drug-loving mother and his father leaving in the middle of the night, he spent most of his childhood being raised by the brookfield bididos. jace loved every second of it; the gang members taught him how to rule a gang, how to fight and to hold his liqour and how to be better than what his father could ever be.

during school however, jace was constantly getting into trouble. with his smart-ass comments to emotional jocks and uptight princesses, jace was often in fist-fights and was blamed for everything. but he didn't care though, his real family was with the gang and his sister. jace's grades dropped while he soared in the ranks of the gang, ultimately taking the throne of the bandidos after his dad. jace never cared about his grades and broods around the school grounds just to keep a watchful eye on his sister but his time is spent more at with the gang, ready to attack the sharks at any moment if they dare threaten them.

by the time selene had reached highschool, her family ignored her and selene felt all alone, but she had the school in the palm of her petite hand and that's all that mattered to her. selene was ruthless, her blunt honesty would crumble young girls self esteems and her gorgeous looks would break lustful guys hearts. selene felt alone, surrounded by her fake friends, but a pretty girl never has any worries, right?

yet the rosewood’s perfect image crumbled because of selene father’s greed. multiple fraudulent scams were connected to yoseph, trial after trial, he was sent to jail. selene’s heart shattered and the next day, her mother forced selene to pack her bags and move to her old hometown. eleanor didn’t want her daughter to suffer from her husband’s mistakes and the pair fled to one of eleanor’s large villas in the town.

Growing up, she lived with her mom and step-dad because her biological dad went to prison. She truly didn't care for or like her biological dad. He left her mom while she was pregnant with her. Until her mom met her step-dad. She wasn't like those other people who hated their step-dads . She cared for him like he was her biological dad. Her step dad was always like Superman to her, she thought nothing could hurt him. He was the one she looks up to. What she didn't know was that he slowly becoming more ill. Soon enough he could barely get out of bed. It was a struggle looking at him during that time. He was a frail and pale version of himself. When he was ill, everyday after school she took care of him especially when her mom worked.

Her mom took him to the hospital and the doctor said he had to stay there for awhile. Her mom kept on saying he'll get better, he'll come out of that hospital in full health again. Deep down, she knew what her mom was saying wasn't true but she wanted to believe her. Her step-dad died a couple months later. It took a toll on both Aliyah and her mother. There were days, when she didn't want to get out of bed or didn't even leave the house. She blamed herself for what happened to her step-dad. She kept on telling herself there was something she could done, something she could've stopped.

It hit her mom the most she started shutting aliyah and focusing more on her work. Her mom pretty much cutting her out of her life completely. When she needed her mom the most, she started hating her mom but at the same time, she still loves her. Tired of all of it, Aliyah moved out and started living with her aunt. Her aunt tried to care for her in the best way possible but it wasn't enough. Her aunt tried to get her into different activities and extracurriculars. None of that worked, she joust kept on telling her that she just needed space. She went down a dark path of partying and drinking. One day, her aunt had a intervention for her and she had a breakdown. From that day, she has tried to to get better for her and her aunt.​

history: paxton was born into the gang life. she had no choice in the matter, her dad being who he was. the leader of the sharks. her mom was his high school sweetheart who messed around with the bad boy of the school. she ended up having paxton and her father thought he was doing the right thing marrying her. he didn't. there was no love in that home, and everyone knew it. her father resented her for making him settled down to quick and her mother for getting pregnant. the first hit came on her 3rd birthday.

her dad had been a heavy drinker even when he was younger. but on that day, he drunk so much that he became a violent bastard. saying how he needed to teach her mother a lesson. paxton tried to stop him but he just threw her across the room. her mother was protecting her stomach for a reason that became clear 9 months later when her little brother was born. her father came home drunk more and more frequently until it was just everyday. her mom and her made it their mission to protect her brother from that violence by taking the beatings themselves.

then one day when her dad was out drinking, he got into an car accident costing him his life, and three others people. paxton was named the successor of the sharks, as she had been in the gang for more then 3 years. her father forced her at first but she grew to love the gang like a second family. they all hated her father, knowing what he did to her family. but couldn't do anything as he was the boss but no more. she was the boss now and she was gonna take care of her gang and family.

  History
  
  Ever since he was a child, Eddie has been an imaginative and exploratory child. Whilst he understands the real world and the distinction between fact/fiction, he likes to escape into a good comic or movie. His father never liked that and would often confiscate his "toys" from him and force him to study. Eddie liked studying and has always been highly intelligent, but having academics used as a punishment was always upsetting for him. Eddie was never a stranger to the back of his father's hand, either. These punishments came about as young Eddie would often dismantle his toys and gadgets, sometimes completely deconstructing expensive computer equipment. His father only saw a destructive, ungrateful child, but in reality Eddie was exploring the equipment; learning by rebuilding and designing.
  
  Eddie's childhood wasn't all bad. His older brother and sister were always there for him, and his mother was the sweetest woman. She nurtured Eddie's hobbies and would often step up to stop him from being punished harshly, even if it did lead to his parents arguing later. Regardless, due to his father's belittlement, Eddie has always felt inferior to others, like people find him weird and unattractive. Despite excelling throughout school and knowing he's smart, he still downplays his talents and achievements.
  
  Eddie's mother suffered a brain haemorrhage two years ago and died suddenly. It took weeks before the boy returned to high school and he had to see a counsellor for some months until he finally started communicating with others again. Since his sister recently moved out of the house, it's just Eddie, his father and brother. His father continues to treat Eddie harshly. His brother isn't much better and is the complete opposite to him - popular, muscular and sporty.
  
  In school, Eddie generally spends his breaks and lunchtimes avoiding the popular crowd. His position amongst his peers is a difficult one. Some of the jocks bully him and others will come to him when they need to pick his brains. His circle of friends consists of fellow social rejects and he's not even sure if most of them are friends, figuring they just end up sitting together by default. If it wasn't for his reputation of being super smart and good with technology, Eddie is certain he'd be invisible.

B I O G R A P H Y

History: Theo Marin, is the only child of Chase and Caren Marin, two of Brookfield's most influential accountants. With this elevated status from his parents due to their work with the accounts for the upper class citizens of Brookfield, his parents have been able to give him everything they need to be successful, so he spend his time showing him that he is grateful for what they give him and that he isn't letting them down. He excels in schools, doesn't party and stays far away from any drug or alcohlic beverage that he may find himself faced with. He is a straight 'A' Student, and is apart of the debate team and the model UN. he is on the path to be the Valedictorian of his class.

Although Theo comes across as a socially awkward goodie to shoes, he spends a lot of his time with his mother and father at office event , mingling with the upper class, keeping the gossip in his back pocket for future use. These parties and event have helped Theo develop some social skill, but only in the terms of marketing himself to future employers, that does help for trying to navigate the shark infested waters of day to day high school. He often finds him self in awkward situations where he is like a fish out of water, or he find himself unable to find the appropriate response to something that has happened around him.
