The Weirdo
An outcast amongst those at Brookfield High, the Weirdo doesn't really fit in with the general norm of the "IT" crowd...let alone any crowd for that matter. A lone wolf in a sense, the Weirdo makes do without a pack to roam in. This Weirdo is a Rebel without a cause at times and will take matters into their own hands if necessary. TAKEN: Bellz Bellz

The New Girl
Just as Brookfield began to change drastically a new bird flew into town, bringing out curiosity and perhaps the worst in some of the local residence. The Newbie attracts enough attention to distract from the murders. The Newbie also catches on the "abnormal" atmosphere of this seemingly innocent small town. The are unexpected and mysterious to those around them and is sure to take the town by storm. TAKEN: @witchery

Wednesday seemed like a strange day to hold a Harvest Festival, especially since it was a school night. Skylar would have much rather stayed home tonight, she did have quite a bit of homework to catch up on and she would fall behind if she didn't complete it. The tiny bedroom seemed to close in around her as she tried to find a way to get out of going to this event. Reagan would kill her of course. He was all for the social light, basking in it because that's exactly where he belonged. Skylar was no such person, often bullied in school for her strange appearance and personality, she learned to just stay out of people's way. But she would be there for her best friend and head to the Harvest Festival with him, seeing as how they have gone every year since practically birth.

Shrugging on her worn military green trench coat, she looked at her appearance in the crack mirror that hung above her small desk. Coming to terms that she would never be truly satisfied with herself, she turned towards her door and pulled it open, her combat boots thudding down the hall in search of her older brother. "Jace! Let's go! If I have to go to this shit your ass is coming with me." Her tone was aggressive but her expression revealed a small smirk that showed she was only teasing with him. It had been just her and her brother in this home for as long as she could remember. He took care of her in place of their parents, along with the help from the Bandidos. Skylar wasn't a fan of the gangs in town, not agreeing with her brother's leadership and the members inside of the gang. But she wouldn't have the protection and shelter if it wasn't for the gang, so she kept her mouth shut.

Lifting her hands to secure the beanie further on her head, she walked into the main living area of small home and shook her head as her eyes looked towards the old clock on the wall. "Come on Jacey!" She shouted, calling him by a nickname only she was allowed to use.

Interactions/Mentions:

Nothing relaxed Reagan more than a cold shower. Football practice of course was a large stress, throwing, yelling, and leading a entire armada of men was tacking. But yet there he was, still the leading quarterback... Rubbing a towel through his hair as it began to dry, another wrapped around his waist, he made his way through the empty house. The TV in the living room had been switched to the local news, which either talked about the mysterious murder, or this harvest festival. Going with a pair of jeans, converse, a simple gray tee, and his letterman for the outfit of the evening. A boring one, but practical seeing as the event was not fancy at all. Making his way back to the bathroom, he finished the rest of his appearance.

Currently he sat in his... Well his father’s, but now his car. It was a 2005 Jeep Wrangler, the top down in the back of the car. A pair of Raybands sat neatly on his face as he waited in front of Skylar’s house. The two were childhood friends despite their social differences, and more importantly they were neighbors. He’d promised he could drive her to the festival, seeing as she refused to go otherwise. Glancing at his dashboard camera, he gave his horn a light beep. “We don’t got all night Skylar!”

Edward Holden

fghfgh.png Up in his room, Eddie was happily re-watching the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' film. It was only a week until the next 'Thor' film was out, so he was excitedly binge-watching the previous films beforehand. No matter how many times he saw a film, he still felt the same emotions for certain scenes. "Quicksilver!" he exclaimed. As the action continued, the TV screen suddenly went blank and his room fell silent. Eddie turned his head to see his father had pulled the plug from the power socket in the wall. "Dad, it was nearly finished!" he argued.

"Get your damn coat on and go with your brother to the festival. You need to get out more, kid. Make some friends," his father berated him.

"I have friends," Eddie mumbled as he stood up and grabbed his cellphone. He knew there was no point fighting it. His father would only go on to telling him his friends were nerds and how he should make important friends, like his jock brother, Malcolm, had. Eddie shook his head and grabbed his wallet before brushing past his father to head downstairs and out to his brother's car.

**********

When they arrived at the festival, Malcolm parked his car up before turning to Eddie and smirking. "Seriously, Eddie. You need to sort yourself out - go make some friends and quit being such a loser, then dad might go easier on you." Malcolm sighted his group of friends up ahead and heavily patted his brother on his skinny shoulder. "Well, you go find yourself some friends to hang out with whilst I have fun."

"Yeah, bye..." Eddie drily replied as he got out of the car. He was glad Malcolm didn't want to hang out with him as they really didn't get along. They were two very different people and their father shoving that fact in their faces had never done anything to help their relationship.

Eddie didn't want to attend the Harvest Festival in the first place, but now he was there he decided to at least take a walk around and see if anything caught his interest. He was sure he wasn't the only social reject at the fair but he also knew if he did bump into another one he wouldn't know how to initiate a conversation. He didn't walk far before sitting down on a nearby bench. If he couldn't interact with others, he at least found enjoyment in people-watching. His peers generally didn't talk to him much, but it was amazing how much he could pick up on just by observing those around him.

Mention: Open for Interaction

“Theo, are you ready to go to the festival?” His mother’s voice called from the bottom of the stairs. They went every year and his parents used it as an opportunity to market themselves and socialize with their clients. It seemed that everything these days was focused on their client. But it was nice to see that the town was still going through with the festival even though there was a murder not to long ago.

To say that Theo wasn’t a little on edge was an under statement. He knew that the town police had bumped up their game when it came to security at the festival this year. But that didn’t stop Theo from shivering at the prickling sensation crawling up the back of his neck, which only flared when he felt that something bad was going to happen. His mom called it his super power, because eighty five percent of the time he was correct and something bad happened. Although this time he prayed it was one of the few times he would be wrong. He just wanted to forget about the murder.

“Yeah, I’ll be right down!” Theo yelped back, pushing the feeling aside and trying to ignore the murder and have a good time at the festival tonight.

As they walked out of the house, Theo heard the sound of the horn honk and a slight shout. He turned his attention to the commotion, four houses down and across the street sat Raegan in his jeep yelling at the door to Skylar's house. He smirked a little before turning away and getting into his fathers car. He was ready to get to the Festival and lose his parent in the crowd and just walk around and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

Social gatherings were the place to be and in Lisbeth's book there was simply nothing better. Especially considering her father could never actually stop her. Though then again, he wasn't necessarily around to stop her to begin with. So a win-win situation. Sort of. Regardless, the Harvest Festival was perfect for Lisbeth despite the news that had been recently swirling around town. Perhaps going out at night wasn't extremely safe but on the other hand she'd be surrounded by plenty of others which was safe enough. Who would snatch up anyone when everyone was watching? This was all besides the point though, Lisbeth refused to start her night off worrying and questioning every little thing. She needed to focus on how happy she'd be; put herself in a good ol' mood.

Speaking of, Lisbeth was sat at the little desk in her room, peering out of the window in her own thoughts. Her house was empty aside from herself and the maid. Well, you could call the woman her family's maid, but she was more of a nanny that took care of Lisbeth like a mother. She was a family friend, someone hired when Lisbeth was young when her mother was alive, and she stayed. Lisbeth cared about her more than anyone in the world, much more than her father. Not that Lizzie really had much of a connection with anyone to begin with that she'd call real enough to be anything whatsoever. Her phone rested on the top of the desk beside her hand, going off every once in a while. Lizzie didn't check them though, she didn't care much. She'd meet people at the festival whenever she arrived but for now she planned on getting out to her care to pick up Aliyah. They were besties in anyone's definition. Lizzie always says not to question it, so she doesn't overthink their friendship.

"Well, it's about time I get up and out." Lizzie said to herself, watching her reflection just barely in the glass window in front of her. Pursing her lips, Lisbeth pushed her seat back and stood up before pushing it back in nearly perfectly. Picking up her phone, Lisbeth decided to dial Aliyah's number to make sure she even wanted a ride to the festival with her. You can never simply expect it from someone, or at least Lisbeth didn't want to risk making a fool of herself.

selene rosewood

selene paced around her luxurious room, her boots clapping on the dark wooden floor as she scurried around the room. selene’s brown locks bounced behind her as she tried to forge a plan in her mind. she could sneak out the front door, but there was the possibility of her mother’s butler finding her and then there would be trouble. maybe through the kitchen out the backyard? selene thought but her eyebrows furrowed together when she remembered her mother was in the room next to the kitchen. selene spun around on her heels as her dark eyes focused on her large window. it was her only option. selene groaned, scurrying to the window and quietly opening the window wide open. one leg after another, selene slipped over the window sill and onto the roof. she closed the window quietly once more and safely climbed down the tree next to her window before running off into the night.

as selene made her way to the festival, her eyes were full of curiosity and intrigue. it was simple yet cute, nothing like the festivals back home. selene wandered around the strange place, her fingers clinging onto the ends of her sleeves. she didn’t recognise anyone at the festival, only just arriving a few days ago. her senses were overwhelmed; the sound of kids laughing, popcorn cooking at multiple stands and the sound of a bell ringing every time someone won a prize. it was all very exciting for selene. she continued to look around until she bumped into another body. selene stumbled back in surprise, ready to slap them with a sharp comeback if she needed to. a soft “oof” escaped her lips as she found her ground once more, dusting her skirt off from any dust before locking her brown eyes with the strangers. he seemed look around her age with brown hair and light skin. selene bit the bottom of her lip as she mumbled a quiet sorry.

Skylar was about to screech her brother's name again when she heard the brief BLEEP of a car horn. Moving towards the window, she saw the familiar Jeep Wrangler through the basically see through curtains and huffed. "JACE ELLEWOOD I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD. ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH YOUR EYELINER?" Despite her aggressive tone, a teasing smirk was securely planted on her lips as she moved towards the door, grabbing her bag, she pulled open the front door that always stuck the first time or two you pulled it. Just another thing she knew of in the house that needed to be fixed.

Walking out of the house, she left the door open for her brother. He would be riding in a separate vehicle most likely but would follow behind Reagan. "Well well well if it isn't Mr. Brookfield himself!" A warm smile appeared on her face as she pulled open the door to the Jeep and jumped inside. She groaned out loud and rolled her eyes as she gestured towards the house, "Jace seems to think that this festival will include some sort of drag competition, he's been in the fucking bathroom for hours." She could only guess what the hell he was doing in there, applying drag make up that would make RuPaul proud did not seem plausible. Taking in Reagan's appearance now, she became more aware of just how more glamorous he seemed to be compared to her plain jane self. Popularity had definitely done him some good and she wondered briefly what it was like on the other side.

"Nice Jacket, ReRe. Her voice teased as she let out a low chuckle, "Seems to be your cape of sorts now huh? Her eyes looked to the house once more. "If this jackass doesn't show up in the next minute, let's ditch him."

After being seated for a short while, Eddie decided to get up and continue walking around the festival. He had a decent camera on his phone so figured he might be able to take some good photographs from around the place. He liked photography even if he rarely showed anyone the pictures he'd taken. As he was about to remove his phone from his pocket, he felt someone collide with him. At first, it brought him back to the times on the school corridor when the bigger guys had purposely bumped into him to make him fall over. This didn't feel anywhere near as heavy or intentional. The "oof" sound was far too feminine to be some jock bully.

Eddie turned around to see Selene dusting off her skirt and he heard her mumble an apology. He hadn't seen the dark-haired girl around before and he'd spent quite a bit of time noticing others, even if they didn't take time out to notice him. Regardless of whether it was his fault or not, Eddie's instinct was to apologise because it tended to be the least confrontational response. "I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention and I must have..." he began to apologise, but trailed off. It really wasn't his fault yet he was trying to find a way to blame himself. He didn't think of anything so instead tried to relax again. "Are you alright?" he asked her, flashing a boyish smile.

Aliyah was in her house alone as usual. Her Aunt worked both days and nights. Liyah never really understand why though, Liyah's mom was still financially stable enough and her step-father left both her mom and her, enough money to live well.
She started picking out what to where for the festival and she picked the perfect outfit.

Everybody was freaking out about the murder that happened but she didn't know why they were so fazed by it. If it happened anywhere but here, they'll probably just tweet about it and keep going through with their day. There's no way that murder would take someone during the festival, it's way to obvious. She heard her phone ring, and it showed Lisabeth on caller ID. "Hey Liz, what you doing?" She asked.

jace ellewood

jace hid in his room; his door locked and his record playing scratching away at some indie rock record he bought ages ago. he knew tonight was the night of the harvest festival, and most likely where the other gang would try and sneak in. jace was lost in thought as his eyes skimmed over the messages from the members of the brookfield bandidos, all say they were at the fair waiting for his next order. as he scrolled through his phone, jace heard his sister's high-pitched voice yelling for him.

"ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH YOUR EYELINER?"

jace groaned and jumped off his bed, slipping on his leather jacket and covering his gang tattoo. the bandido gang was a sensitive topic to talk about between jace and skylar; jace was the next one in line to the bandido throne, after his father, and the gang did come with some perks. however, it left their relationship a little rocky. jace swiftly grabbed his motorcycle keys from the hallway table and headed outside, locking the front door behind him, only to see the one and only reagan sitting next to his sister. jace bit down on his tongue as he tried to plaster a polite smile on his face. "patience is a virtue, sky." jace joked with a smirk as he leaned against the car, through the open window of the seat as his brown eyes stared at reagan. "so, sky, you didn't tell me you were going with mr all-star, here." jace choked out a fake laugh as he patted reagan hard on the back purposely.

jace stepped back from the car, calming himself as his long fingers twirled his motorcycle's keys. "i'm going to take my bike, i'll see you there." jace swiftly made his way towards the bike as he heard reagan's car. jace sat on the seat of the bike before he pulled his phone out of his pocket and called his right hand man, jerome. "hey, are you at the festival yet?" jace asked before continuing, "beside looking out for the sharks, keep a close eye on skylar. she's with mr superstar and i don't want her to end up being a baby mama." jace said his goodbyes and hung up the phone. with his phone back in his jacket's pocket, jace started his bike and drove towards the festival.

Jerome Stevenson
gvf.jpg

Between working, pulling all-nighters, crashing on his friends' sofa and visiting his father in prison, Jerome had barely spent much time at home and as such hadn't had a shaved in a while. He'd made a point of promising himself he'd clean himself up tomorrow morning. Right now, he was sat at one of his regular bars, sipping his beer from the bottle as his barman friend served one of the customers. He'd been to the prison today and that was always a stressful occasion. The guards often set him on edge and he was always paranoid they'd find a reason to turn him away. Not to mention then having to listen to his father throwing in harsh comments about his mother.

The arm that was resting on the wooden surface felt a light vibration and he glanced down to see an incoming call from Jace. "Shit.." he mumbled. He only just remember he was meant to be heading over to the Harvest Festival... of all places. He knew their presence there was more to ward off the Sharks than hang out on a Ferris wheel or carve pumpkins. He quickly knocked back the rest of his beer and left a tip for the barman before rushing outside so he didn't have to battle to hear his friend over the loud, heavy rock music.

"Hey... I'm on the way there right now," he told Jace. As he was walking to his car he knew he was technically telling the truth. When Jace mentioned Skylar was with Reagan, he couldn't help but scoff. "Oh no. Not the Golden Boy," he remarked. "I'll try to get there faster, then. I'd hate for you to be tied down with uncle duties!" Once the call was done, he started the engine of his customised, red sports car and set off down the street, revving the engine louder than was necessary. It wasn't until he'd driven a few blocks and had to stop at a red light that he finally bothered to fasten his seatbelt.

When he arrived at the festival, he parked up his car and got out to take a look around him to see if there was anyone he knew. Not recognising anyone he cared to approach, he leaned against the bonnet of his car and lit himself a cigarette whilst he waited for Jace to arrive.

Just as Reagan set his hand on the horn for a second time, Skylar scuttled from her home, screaming bloody murder at her brother. His expression clearly amused, as she assumed the passenger seat with a set of her usual sarcastic quips at the ready. Smiling, he ran a hand through his hair as she commented about his jacket. “Hey, at least i’ve got a car, and a warm jacket. Two things you can’t complain about! I mean, I could leave you here to rot... But instead here you are, ready to take on the world and all of its social harvest festivals.”

Hearing the door open once again, Reagan’s amber eyes flickered to the door to see Jace, wearing his recognizable Banditos jacket. His eyes lingered momentarily, interested as he studied the boy, before snapping from his trance. Calling over the hum of his jeep, he waved. “Sounds good man! Hey, text me later would you? Ive got a question about something!”
And with that, he switched gears, and headed off towards the festival...

The two childhood friends entered the festival together, seeing as he had promised to hang with a different crowd tonight. Being the “it” boy took work, and it was nice to let his guard down a little around people who didn’t care about social hierarchy. “So... You’ve got friends right... I hope that wasn’t rude. Dammit that was rude.” Chuckling at him comment, he shook his head. “But seriously, i've got to help run the hayrides this year. Coach Hamilton volunteered me... So i’ve gotta jet before 9, then i’ll be done around 10. So since i’m your ride I think you can buy me food for all of this chauffeuring you’re receiving?”

If warm stood for ego boosting then Skylar could see the jacket being useful to Reagan. Rolling her eyes, she let out a laugh. "Oh yea, I'm so ready to take on this whole world and corny festivals." Her brother finally made an appearance and was walking out of the house. Her eyes rolled once more before she let out a soft groan as he called Reagan, Mr. All-Star. Skylar had been calling him nicknames since they were kids, her brother had recently done so once she hit sexual maturity. It seemed like now that both parents were out of the picture he had to take over the role for her, which in her mind, didn't need to happen. Skylar made it clear that she didn't need anyone.

He was staring at Reagan with eyes that would intimidate anyone and yet the Golden boy seemed to handle it with ease. Sky scoffed softly, "Sorry dad, I didn't know I needed to inform you of my every decision in life." His overprotectiveness was embarrassing, especially since Jace was treating this as if Reagan wanted something more from her than just friendship. She wasn't even sure if that was going to last. Reagan and herself would never last. Not in a million years, apparently her brother didn't know her well enough to know that.

"Yea yea, see you there." She grumbled as he left and turned back to Reagan as he called to her brother to text him. With eyebrows raised, they headed towards the festival, Skylar faced forward and wondered what the hell her brother and Reagan needed to talk about.

***

Skylar couldn't help but notice the stares as they entered the festival together. People couldn't handle a change in the status quo and it was apparent that she didn't belong in Reagan's world. Luckily for herself, she didn't care about what others thought...or that was the image she projected. Her eyes shifted to look at her childhood friend as he spoke, her eyes narrowed slightly in offense as he asked if she had any friends. Before she could open her big mouth, he saved himself and she found herself smiling at his laugh. "Yea I got some friends, don't worry about me." She chuckled and then nodded her head at his request for buying food. "Food huh? Sounds like a plan to me." Her eyes scanned the area still unable to completely forget about people staring at them. "Guess this looks odd huh? Us..breaking some sort of social barrier."

Theo split from his parents the second he got a chance, once they got to the festival. He loved his parents, don't get him wrong be he would rather enjoy the his time at the festival by himself rather than be paraded around the grounds by his parents as an act. He enjoyed solitude, and granted the festival wasn't the ideal place for solitude, he enjoyed not having to put on a show for the client his parent would bump into. As he walked he spotted many people around the fair from school, many who gave him a friendly smile as he passed and other who didn't even acknowledge that he was there. Theo wouldn't say that he was popular among the student of Brookfield, but he knew who was who, and although he didn't find it strange that Skylar and Reagan showed up at the fair together, he knew that it would be the talk of the school come Thursday morning.

Theo made his way towards the food stand as his stomach grumbled with hunger as the scent of greasy fair food wafted through the air. He knew his body was going to hate him in the morning, but what was one day at, especially when its the harvest festival. He got in one of the many lines that were forming at the stands and pulled out his phone scrolling thought his Facebook, looking through all of the post about the harvest fest, looking at the few pictures that had already been updated to peoples timelines. He shook his head and started to listen to the many conversations around him. Waiting for the lines to move.

Paxton didn't even want to be here. The only reason she was, was because her brother wanted to go. The fair or festival wasn't something she liked to partake in. Simply for the fact that most of these kids were either sharks or bandidos. Once you chose which side you are, you can't ever leave the gang. Once you chose your side, you must always defend it. This place is no man's land of course. Wars cannot be fought in school for the simple fact it is for learning and not shit else. But somehow, she always manged to get a fight or something going on. Somehow being a gang leader, is destroying her school life. Who knew huh?

Rex was already out the car the time it stopped. She nodded to a few shark members who decided to come in the respect that the leader is coming. She gets out the car putting on headphones. Playing her phone, she listened to her tracks as she walks into the festival. She noticed already that Jace, the band dumbasses was here. She sighed but then smiled. That means Skylar was here. Yea she knew that having a crush on your enemy's sister was not the way to go but still. If it was for her father she would be able to freely just ask her out without any troubles but that is not the way life goes she guesses.

She looked at the members who were trailing behind her. She nodded to her brother. Which they understood, the plan was to watch him and protect him. While she goes to talk to Skylar without her brother around. She smirked as she walked up to the girl.
"I see it's our school weirdo. How are you today Skylar? Any overflowing weirdness or is your band dumb brother causing you grief. " Ok so the reason Jace and her fight so much was simply because he did not like the fact, she talks to his sister. Hey she gets it. She would be the same way about Rex but the thing is. She has had a crush on Skylar since grade school.

Her weirdness is what made coming to school, with bruises not so bad. And it wasn't her fault that her father was the leader. It wasn't a choice for her just like him. It was already made for her when she was born. So was it for him. Now it just time for them to play their roles. But Pax doesn't like the script she's been giving. Time for change.

the wind nipping at jace's olive skin as he drove on his motorbike was a feeling that he loved, it made him feel free. the sound of cars zooming by and the tall trees that surrounded the road he drove on. jace slowed down his bike as he made his way towards the school's parking lot, he hardly saw the inside of the school since he often ditched classes to work with the bandidos. jace parked his bike away from the other cars, paranoid that some all-american jock would knock over his precious bike for a parking spot. the male pulled his helmet off his head, his hair spiking in different places as his large hand tried to tame his black locks. jace's brown eyes scanned the area, noticing other bandidos members circling around the festival. a pleased smirk formed on his lips until his brows furrowed together at a terrible sight.

paxton, his so-called mortal enemy, talking to his little sister. a low groan escaped his lips as he dusted his jacket off and strolled towards paxton and skylar, looming over his little sister as he shot a deadly glare to paxton. jace had to give credit to the white-haired girl, she had determination, but everyone in town knew that no one messed with jace ellewood; especially with his sister. a strained smile formed on his lips as he stood protectively close to skylar, "paxton, nice to see you at the festival," jace mused, he didn't want to start a fight, it was the last thing he wanted to do at the moment. "how's the sharks? still fishy as ever?" he joked with a strained chuckle. an uneasy feeling boiled in jace's stomach as he stood between skylar and paxton.
