Personality:
Because of his upbringing, Texas is a bit cautious. Always the type to play the odds, and look at any situation before engaging. This is how you stay alive in space, after all. With things as lawless as ever, and always needing to watch his back or it wont be his own anymore, he's not the kind to even respond to a distress call over coms. Not to say he is uncaring, as an unjustice seen is still one he can't sit back and watch, and he's even been known to interject in bar fights or general scuffs on back-alleys in scummy space stations. Though, no good deed can go unpaid.
It's likely after helping Texas will ask for something in return, not because he feels as though he's owed, but because that's just how you survive. On top of that, he's still technically owned by the family whom bought him and the price for freedom is rather unreachable. His hope is one day to save up enough side cash to buy his own last name and earn the freedom he'd only dreamed of. Sure, the family who purchased him as a toddler from his downtrodden mother actually put in a decent investment when it came to educating and making sure Texas would be a useful addition to the galaxy itself. Being gifted with a unique ability, and a talented and highly trained pilot, he makes for an ideal delivery boy for the Lone Star corporation he works for and is owned by.
All things aside, even being a technical slave, Texas is eternally grateful for the fact he is part of few in comparison that are able to surf the stars and explore the still young galaxy. Sure, there is little to discover on his own, but maybe one day when he's free to decide his own fate he'll take his cruiser and try and find a calling. Maybe discover what none other has, and go down in history throughout time. Why does he want this? Because as things go now, he's just a druggy in a delivery cruiser doing job to job, and sending any contracts wages off to the ones who own him, and at that rate he'll either be killed by competition, or caught and stolen by any who learn he's an ability user.
History:
Born on the Europa colony, a terraformed settlement on one of Jupiters many moons. Dusty, and poor, this civilization was an old research colony back when space travel was still young. Now it's a slum, and a place of the most desolate. Typically a refuge for the scum and tyranical, a base of sorts for those who force their will over others. Without the galactic government paying much mind, those stuck here are more or less forced into slavery. Fortunately for Texas, he escaped this rock as a toddler. Unfortunately for Texas, it's because his mother sold him when she learned his ability was worth value, and he was put to a different sort of slavery. His old name forgotten, Texas was raised by the Lone Star shipping and delivery enterprise to be a pilot of theirs.
One of their elite, intended to take on the more sensitive jobs, it is known with his ability he'd be able to navigate through asteroid fields and marauder territory with general ease. The family trusts him, and expects he'll make the credits spent on him back - In fact, he certainly has done so, millions fold.

[div class="imageBorder"][/div]Like many, Texas was born with a gift. Many refer to these genetic differences as Psionics, and the reality of it is that there is no exact science to recreate a known ability aside from the standard means of procreation. Though being the holder of an innate ability also puts a target upon your back, as others whom lack what you have may aim to take it for themselves.
With the popularity of body snatching, a term used for those who capture someone against their will and transplant their own consciousness inside the other persons being, it is common for those with abilities to be secretive about their gifts in an attempt to hide it from prying eyes. Some even go as far as to irreparably damage their own bodies in an attempt to make taking their body not worth the reward of getting their abilities.
Texas of course hasn't done anything of that sort, mainly because his ability is so difficult to notice that many assume him to just be a gifted pilot. His ability, however, causes his perspective of time to slow whenever his heart rate is accelerated. When in intense situations, thinks appear to move tens of times slower than in actuality. Unfortunately that doesn't also mean his reflexes are any quicker than their normal human limit, but it allows his brain to make correct adjustments in nearly ever situation.
It also makes him very bored since things seem to drag on longer than they should be, when the reality of it is things are going just as they should be. It's because of this biological change needing to occur before his mental ability ticks on that Texas has become quite the addict. Typically smoking, or snorting different substances to get his heart rate up, he swears his reflexes and bodily speed even increases when doped up enough. Whether or not that's true, or just the drugs speaking, is up for debate.
When his heart rate is slowed, however, things go slightly quicker. Anything slower than his normal resting rate allows for less thought between each passing second, leaving him vulnerable and clumsy. The after effect of being high.
personality. When you're raised in a sterile environment filled with lies, it's hard to branch out personality wise. JN3 was requested to have a 'meek' personality before she'd be wiped, resulting in remembered 'cute' mannerisms. Despite being unaware of her unfortunate circumstances, JN3 developed into a fine young woman. Innately curious about the world, she constantly enjoys meeting new people when the opportunity presents itself. (That is, of course, if you aren't a ruffian. She was trained early on to avoid 'rough' looking people.) She attempts to see the good in most people, though she still comes with her biases. It's a shame everything about her is going to be wiped away for a rich old lady.
APPEARANCE:
Every trait JN3 has was no mistake. Her long silvery hair, pouty lips, and pale golden eyes were all requested by her 'owner.' She was predetermined to stop growing at 5'7, and she was kept on a strict diet and exercise routine to maintain her rather thin figure. Even the growth of her nails was decided before she was born, years ago. She simply assumed, like everyone else around her, people were born were such unnatural hair colors. Born to be perfect, and born to train.
BIOGRAPHY:
If JN3 had a story book written about her life, it would be plain as hell. In fact, it'd likely be identical to every other person born and raised in compound E176. Unaware of her true destiny, JN3 grew up under the belief she was training to attend the 'Academy,' an elite school that would prepare her for society. Instead, her life is much less pretty than that. Born in an illegal body growing compound, JN3 is just a novelty. She's the next body sleeve for another elite member of society, sick of their own aging body. On the day of her 21st birthday, JN3 was placed into hibernation to 'travel lightyears' across the galaxy to reach the exclusive Academy. She just didn't know that would be the last time she went to sleep.
Because when she reaches her destination, her conscious will be wiped from existence. JN3 will no longer exist, leaving her body an empty husk for whoever bought her 21 years ago. At least it'll be painless.
