Brigid's Heir and Necromancy

Would Brigid's Heir reduce the XP and training times for necromantic spells?  How about the related Charms?

I would say no.  The merit specifically mentions sorcery (if I remember correctly) and, I personally believe, the merit reflects a supernatural attunement into the sorcerous protocols of creation rather than just a skill-based aptitude with sorcerous powers.  While necromancy is similar in practice to sorcery the powers it taps into are vastly different, requiring a different sort of attunement to the underworld.

That's not to say that a relevant necromancy merit could exist, but I would probably limit that to abyssals or require a character to have longstanding and intimate exposure to the underworld.
