Break Ups & Make Ups (Starshine & Narumi)

[Narumi]

Luna had grown tired of the situation that she and her boyfriend were currently in and was at her breaking point.


When they were having a free period, she pulls him by her locker and crosses her arms.


"I'm tired of all this! It's not fair, since you've been hanging out with Alyssa all of the time we barely even talk anymore. It's like I'm being pushed out of the picture constantly, just over a pitiful little breakup she had" She says, almost angrily.


She feels tears peck at her eyes, and she tries to blink them away.


"I never get any attention anymore, and went I get a teeny little bit of it, she gets bombared like a stupid little queen even if she looks upset!"

 

[Starshine]

Grayson stood there and listened to his girlfriends rant she had gotten so needy lately just cause he had a new friend.


"Alyssa is a friend of mine that needs help through a hard time. I don't push you away we spend time together we talk everyday." he said while raising his voice.


The water works were about break past the dam and then he would be the bad guy. "Luna I give you attention and yes she gets attention too. I'm the only one she can turn to right now. No one understands her and I do. Why can't you be happy that I'm helping someone???" No one ever understood him and now Luna had stopped too.

 

[Narumi]

Luna glares at him and let's tears drip from her eyes, and she rubs at them. "You don't care about me. Go help your more important friend" She snaps in an upset manner, slinging her locker open and taking some books out, she slung some revision books at his chest, angrily, that she had been borrowing to help her with her exams. "Take your stupid books!" She snaps, again.


With that, she slams her locker door closed with all of her strength and stalks away, crying. "See you in class, jerk!" She yells.

 

[Starshine]

Luna knocked the air out of him when she threw the books. Grayson looked around and people were staring. This made him very uncomfortable "Yeah see you in class." he shouted back in a nicer tone. He grabbed his phone and texted Alyssa 'Luna went crazy on me cause she thinks I push her away to talk to you. She is so dramatic!!!'


The hallways were clearing and Grayson realized the bell was about to ring. He sprinted to his class the bell rang before he reached the door, but his teacher didn't notice him slipping in.

 

[Narumi]

Alyssa had laughed and shook her head once she had received his text message, it must have been a long time since she had last smiles or laughed. She was currently in the library, reading a book, which she often did in free periods, until she heard the bell go and people starting shuffling to lessons.


Serenity was sitting in the back of the classroom, glaring at her botfriend once he wandered in, she mutters to herself, she had made sure to put her bag by the empty seat that was beside her, so he couldn't sit next to her.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson looked at Serenity she was really mad, to the point she wanted him to sit away from her. Finding the closest place he could sit to her it was in a different row and forward a bit. His heart sunk he really did love her maybe this could be fixed or maybe it was too late. Once again Grayson took out his phone and sent a message to his girlfriend 'Can we talk again after school??? I want to try and get past this.'. Once he sent it he looked at her hoping to see her reaction.


Talen was late to class as usual he gave the teacher his tardy note. His eyes scanned the room for an empty seat it was next to an angry girl but occupied by her bag. He approached her and then cleared his throat "I need this seat.". Maybe his greeting wasn't the nicest but either way what did it matter she was mad already.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity heard her phone buzz I'm the depths of her pocket, she whipped it out and then read the message. No matter how many times they spoke about this, nothing would change. Though she agreed to, either way. 'Okay' She sent back to him, placing her phone back into her pocket.


She then looks to the boy who had tried to sit down beside, she hesitates but then moves her bag. "Yes, you can sit here" She says coldly.

 

[Starshine]

She had agreed to talk about it there was hope after all. Grayson frowned when Serenity let another boy take his seat. Even though she didn't look happy about it he was still jealous. He turned around to face the front as the teacher started to speak.


Talen was slightly taken aback by her coldness, but took the seat. "You don't have to be rude, I'm not the one you're mad at.". His comment was very truthful but probably not the right thing to say at the moment.

 

[Narumi]

Serenity got up once the lesson had ended and began to wander to her next lesson. She spent the entire day by herself, I to, she waited after school for Grayson to talk. They always talked, it wouldn't change anything.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson spent the whole day planning what to say to Serenity. He was eager for the end of his lessons, once the final bell rang he rushed to find Serenity. As soon as he found her he start by saying "Hey babe, how was your day???". Although he knew she was probably mad all day and would say it was terrible.

 

[Narumi]

Luna looks to him and crosses her arms with a shrug. "Best day of my life" She says sarcastically with a roll of her eyes.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson could sense the tension in her voice "Luna just hear me out, ok. I love you a lot and yes I spend time with Alyssa. She means nothing to me not like you do. I want to work on things... please Luna don't do this.". He never wanted to lose his girlfriend his intentions were innocent. Grayson was just a nice guy and didn't like seeing others upset. Alyssa had become his friend but if it meant losing Luna he would leave her alone or at least try.

 

[Narumi]

Alyssa had noticed the two talking and she wanders over, smiling weakly. "Hey Grayson" She says softly and smiles, giving him a friendly hug. "Are you still coming over to study with me? Our exams are in a few days" She says.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson was stuck he had them both there in front of him and it felt like he had done something wrong. He hadn't crossed any boundaries he didn't touch her or kiss her. "Alyssa, I'm busy right now I don't think I'll be over tonight I need to work on some things.". Grayson looked at Luna hoping she saw that this was for her and for them.

 

[Narumi]

Luna throws her bag over her shoulder and then mumbles that she had studying to do herself, and then began to wander away. When she got home, she hadn't studied at all, she just sat on her bed thinking about everything. The following day at school, she wanders to her locker, her eyes were red as if she had been crying.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson went home and sulked what else could he do. He blew off Alyssa when she needed to study and Luna still didn't seem happy. He had a restless night and came to school tired and groggy. Grayson went to see if Luna was at her locker as usual and to his surprise she was. Maybe yesterday did fix something she wasn't going out of her way to avoid him at least.


He walked up to her and noticed something was very wrong she was upset "Babe whats wrong???" Grayson said as he took her into an embrace. "Help me make it better. I hate to see you upset and it's worse when you cry."

 

[Narumi]

Luna took some books out of her locker and sighs, running at her eyes. "Nothing. I'm fine" She says quietly and then shuts it. She slowly moves away and began to walk to her first lesson of the day. Their relationship was so good until Alyssa came along. Grayson wasn't a therapist, she needed professional help, it's not really fair to put someone under that type of pressure.


Besides, he was the one who agreed to it all.

 

[Starshine]

"Luna wait, please talk to me. Tell me what to do you mean the world to me." Grayson said as she turned to walk away. He knew she would just keep walking she hated being late and it was about time for the morning bell to ring.

 

[Narumi]

Luna looks over at him with sad eyes. "Nothing. I don't want you to do anything" She says simply and then began to walk to class.

 

[Starshine]

Nothing, it was practically her breaking up with him he felt it deep down. Grayson went to class and tried to avoid everyone as usual. Except his first class was with Alyssa and she wanted to talk to him. How could he even think of talking to the person that possibly ended his relationship. Sadly Grayson couldn't work up the nerve to ignore her. Though he did tell her he wasn't in the mood to talk and she left him alone.

 

[Narumi]

Alyssa soon began talking to him, when they had partner work. "She salways so moody. Luna. She never let's you do anything without getting annoyed about it. I don't know what you see in her, if she was a good girlfriend she would let you have your own time to yourself. I think she's just jealous, she acts like a princess" Sne says with a roll of her eyes.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson hated conflict but he felt like Alyssa was the jealous one. "Alyssa, Luna is my girlfriend what I see in her are things that she doesn't show to just anyone. She wants attention from her boyfriend and I should treat her like princess. I want to be your friend but there are no feelings between us.". He felt so relieved that he finally said it now Luna couldn't be mad. He quickly pulled out his phone 'Luna I told Alyssa off, I told her that I'm your's and she can't have me.'.

 

[Narumi]

Luna received the message, but just got back to her work. She had exams coming up, until she would be leaving school to train to become an Art teacher. She looks at her timetable, and notices that she had free period again. She left her lesson and then went to the library to read.

 

[Starshine]

Grayson got out of class it was his free period 'Where can I find you???'. He hoped she wouldn't mind talking or just sitting together while they studied.


Talen walked into the library and sat at the same table as Luna. He didn't say a word just opened his book and started to study. Trying to get comfortable he kicked Luna's leg kind of hard "I'm so sorry, I was just moving and it was there... Can I get you something, like ice???" Talen was very nice when he wanted to be.

 

[Narumi]

Luna frowns as she felt her leg being kicked. "I'm in the library" She messaged him back with a sigh and then looks up at Talen. "No" She says firmly and went back to reading her book, still frowning slightly.
