Fantasy Brandyine Asylum for the unnatural

"A dark Kitsune huh... That's one of the most interesting things I've heard since I got here." He mumbled to himself, after Void had finished explaining a few things about the Kitsune. "It could be the medicine, I swear half the things they give me isn't what I've been prescribed by the doctors." He said with a slight roll of his eyes. "Though I could really care less, since it doesn't seem to have much of a noticeable affect on me." He said, mostly talking to himself now, hating the fact that he could get a bit too talkative. "Sorry, I talk a lot in case you guys haven't noticed." He said, as he was used to having someone to talk to. Whether it be Cassidy, Darren, or even one of the patients who seemed to think a bit like him. "I can shut up now if you want me to." He said, nodding his head as he spoke, a bit confident that he could.

For the remainder of the time he spent in the cafeteria, he'd lay his arms crossed on the table and put his head on top of them. He may seem crazy to other people, but he began talking to the more friendly ghosts around him. One by one they joined at the table, until there was three of them. Thirteen engaged in conversation with them, mostly conversing about the Asylum and how badly the patients were treated. Some people turned back to him and then back at their buddies, but for now, the Ghosts were Thirteen's friends.

"Anyway, we haven't introduced each other yet. My name's.. Well, my actual name I do not know, but I've been referred to by the guards as Thirteen. Others call me Ghost because of my ability to walk through walls."

"My name's Ashley."

"Bruce."

"Tom, nice to meet ya'."

The friendly bunch introduced themselves to Thirteen and he felt happy that he could make friends in this Asylum.

Belarus shrugged before he slowly stood up. "I'm gonna go to another table.. it's a bit um.. too crowded for me.." He whispered, picking up his tray and shuffled out and away from the table, glancing around before he saw a male talking to himself. He licked his lips in anxiety and slowly shuffled over. "um.. e-excuse me.. can I sit down here?" He asked the other in his usual soft voice, the tray rattling because of how much Bela was shaking. Schnitzel Schnitzel

He smiled another one of his fake smiles and shot finger guns at Bela, "You got it, buddy" He ate the last of his food he'd been pecking at for the past few minutes. "I'm surprised you'd guess my name," he said, "Some people guess stupid things." He looked over at Auggie, "Kitsune's aren't very common especially dark ones. Most kitsunes are born in litters of around 1-10...but I guess my fox parents didn't want a child surrounded by darkness and destruction."

He clenched his fist and bit his tongue out of anger, causing the lit light bulb above him to burn brighter before exploding. He exhaled, "I'm fine," he was twitching and his leg couldn't stop shaking, "Everything's fine."
A guard walked up to him, "Apollo Fenris. I think you should go back to your cell and calm down."
Void smashed his fist down on the table creating a slight indentation, "You don't get to tell me what to do!!!"

Thirteen turned his head from the Ghost's and saw another person standing there. Hearing the words, he nodded, pointing to the seat opposite from him. The Ghosts around him went there own way, chattering to each other and looking back at Thirteen to wave him a goodbye and in return, he waved to them. But he didn't want to look too weird, so Ghost (Thirteen's nickname) used his power to pick up the cup full of water, before taking a short sip and placing it back on the table. Even though he doesn't usually talk to people, Ghost had no other way to make a friendship, so he started with a small.

"Hello, how're you?"

But then he heard a banging noise nearby, causing him to look in that general direction, not startled, but curious as to what was going on.

'This place sure is crazy. I just hope those pesky guards don't notice the straitjacket is missing.'

He'd think.

Delanie almost fell off of the bench when the newcomer came over to their table. The two were polar opposites, Delanie and the kitsune. He was abrasive and loud. She preferred to keep to herself. However, everyone had their ways, and despite her growing tiredness, she could acknowledge that. She listened to their conversation intently, tapping her fingers and watching the water droplets on the table freeze and unfreeze with her powers.

He licked his lips, whispering a small thank you as he sat down where the other pointed and then glanced over at Void's little outburst before he started to munch on strawberries again. "C-call me Bela.." He whispered, his shyness returning to him. "And.. you?" He questioned softly, offering a tiny smile while he watched the floating cup. He didn't question it or seem bothered by it.

He offered a smile back to Bela, and cleaned up his small mess, putting everything back on the tray and letting out a yawn. Thirteen wasn't used to social interaction even though he had been in the same place for seven years. He waited until he had cleaned up before he spoke again.

"I don't know my original name. The people either call me Ghost or Thirteen."

He'd say, reaching a hand across the table to shake Bela's.

He smiled a bit more, slowly trying to relax before he tilted his head at the extended hand. He was the first to try and shake his hand but he didn't complain, reaching his shaking hand up and grasping Ghost's hand. "Nice to um.. meet you" He said before releasing his hand. "I guess you can see ghosts?" He asked, obviously making an obvious as day connection to the talking to self and the nickname.

"Yea, although sometimes they are not so friendly. There are some friendly ones in this Asylum, but others are horrible."

Thinking about the monsters gave him goosebumps. He pulled his hand back to his side.

"It's nice to meet you too."

Ghost noticed the time on the clock of the cafeteria and stood up slowly, stretching his limbs before using his hands this time to pick up his tray.

"I'll be back in a bit. I'm going to take my tray back."

He'd say, walking through the mess of people and not paying attention to the situation with the other male.

Auggie watched as Bela left the table, heading over to some male that appears to be talking to someone, or something that no one else could see. "You're the first Kitsune that I've met so somehow I'm not surprised that Kitsune aren't common." However, he scooted back in his chair when Void suddenly got mad, not knowing if he was the cause of it or not.

He was a bit confused when a guard came over and called him Apollo, after they'd just established that his name was Void. 'A nickname of sorts maybe?' Though he wasn't allowed to think for too long before Void's hands came crashing against the table, and Auggie quickly stood up from his chair and it fell behind him. "Was it something I said?" He asked, looking back and forth between the guard and Void.

Every morning was the same struggle. Nirvana went to the infirmary so they could change her bandages and check for new cuts, which they almost always found, and it was in there she received her medicine. Yet today, one of the nurses said something that just rubbed her the wrong way. She was now screaming at the top of her lungs, cussing at everyone in the room, struggling against three guards who was just barely able to handle her. In her shaking and bloody hand was a shard of glass from the broken mirror. The nurse was on the ground, holding her broken wrist and broken nose, now watching as they had to sedate Nirvana. Then on when the padded cuffs, with enough slack to let her eat, but about nothing else. Now calmed, and sedated, the drugged girl was roughly escorted down to the cafeteria where she was handed food, and say down near a few others, though by who, She didn't know. She was to bust staring down at her bloody hand. (Open for interaction)

Delanie was hunched over herself, having gotten rid of the oatmeal and now under the influence of her medication. Her memories were fuzzy, making her a little happier than before. She talked louder now, out of her shell and more sociable than normal. She looked across from the table and towards a fiery redhead who looked to be 95% sedation. The way she lazily floated in the air as if it were water, her droopy eyes, and sluggish movements all told Delanie that she was heavily effected by drugs.
Nevertheless Delanie introduced herself. "You're a spunky one, huh?" she said, chuckling to herself. "What's your name?"

((Guys it's my birthday today!!))

"I'm...Im Nirvana," She said, looking up from her hand. "I guess so, they drug me when I lash out...it was pretty bad today," She said with a shrug. The girl took a bite of the food in front of her, recoling slightly at the taste, or lack of. It was so bland it was bitter. Weird huh? She looked back up from her food, and gave the girl a lazy smile. "Not scared of me?" GardenParty GardenParty

Delanie shrugged, dancing her fingertips across the table. "You're not the scariest thing I've encountered." She said lazily, poking at fuzzy memories. Her eyes were dead, though her smile looked like it could light up the world. The medication the nurses put her on messed with her emotions in a way Del couldn't fix. It's not like she wanted to anyways. Being happy had its benefits.

He nodded to what Ghost said and then managed to relax in his chair, anxiety diminishing a little bit. He ate as much as he could before he looked around to assess the situations and happenings in the cafeteria.

Void stared breathing heavily. His irises were deep red and his fox tails were frizzy. The thin hairs on his arms were on end and he was close to loosing it and attacking someone. It was clear on his face. He wanted to kill someone. He craved it.

The guard spoke once more. "No kid," he replied to Auggie, "It's just this psycho fox once everyone to believe that he was born this way and he wasn't. He blew up that school and faked sick the day of it but we caught him on camera. He confessed on the stand and lost it saying how he's kill everyone and everything. We locked him up for a good reason... But maybe he could stay like that instead."

Void lost it. He jumped up and tackled the guard to the floor. He clouded the small windows with black smoke making it dark in the cafeteria. He punched and punched at the guard, scratching at his face in the process. It didn't last long before two guards came in and used a stun gun on him. They put some stronger handcuffs on him and took him by the arms dragging him out.

"This isn't over," he yelled trying to fight the guards. "I'll kill you! I'll kill you all!!! Every last man woman and child that gets in my way!!! No one can stop me! You can't kill me!! I'm a thousand years old. You can't kill me!!!"

He finished his little speech and allowed them to drag him out of the cafeteria to his cell. The cafeteria was no longer shrouded in darkness and the monster was gone.

Eve looked around as everything went super speed around her. She had been invited into the conversation earlier, but was to zoned out to speak. Now, she wished she had been paying attention. She watched the Kitsune, from what little she did remember hearing, be draggged from the cafeteria. 'Hmm, should I help? ' she smiled. 'I wanna play with the guards!' Her mind rang back to her. Her personality changed slightly. Her tone turned cold, her face brighten into a smile. She has used her powers on the guards before, but at this range they shouldn't be able to detect her specifically. She opened her palm and layed it on the table and two spiders crawled down her arm.

She looked at the guards, pinpointing them only, she tapped her index finger on the table. The tiny spiders disappeared in the midst of such a big room. 'Will he be mad I interfered? Eh. I don't think so. ' She watched the spiders each crawl up the guards. She knew there bite caused temporary paralysis, nothing serious for her to worry.

"Lets see what happens shall we?" She spoke out loud, a bigger spider resting on the back of her hand as she petted it. MoxxyMoxx MoxxyMoxx (hope you alright with this. If not I can rewrite my post.....)

About to speak again, She was stopped when the fox spirit began his little outburst. Tackling a guard, hurting him until some others managed to drag him out shouting. She sighed, and turned back to face Delanie. "I know I'm not the scariest thing in here. But I am one of the...high danger patients. I mean, I broke a nose and wrist a little bit ago, and all she did was ask a question." GardenParty GardenParty

Delanie waved a hand. "Pain does not mean scary. Scary things are those that follow you for the rest of your life." She gave a lazy smile, her eyelids dropping and her words a little slurred.

FireMaiden FireMaiden

"Scary things like memories of rape and murder?" She asked, giving the girl a curious look. "Cause those aren't that scary anymore, more just, an inconvenience." She said this with another shrug, pushing her food away. She was done anyway, only a few bites in. Nirvana doubted she could more than that down. Because after years of making herself vomit, it happens by itself. "So...whats your story? Why are you in a nut house?" GardenParty GardenParty

Thirteen overheard the conversation as he walked by with his tray, listening to the part about the Kitsune. He liked foxes, so he was interested in the person, but not enough to create a conversation. Thirteen dropped off the tray and made his way back through the crowd, occasionally saying sorry to people when he bumped into them. He was about half way there when he saw the outburst with the Kitsune, so he looked in that direction to watch how it played out and glanced back to where he was going with every step.

"That your friend?"

He'd ask, because he saw Bela sitting at the same table earlier.

Void noticed the spiders walking up the guards and biting them. They both immediately let go of him and dropped him on the floor. He stood and backed away from them when he heard them scream in pain before collapsing to the ground. His eyes flashed red and he breathed deeply. The smell of pain. It was so good. He ran from them back into the cafeteria.
"Guess who's back mother fuckers," he smiled sat back down with Auggie and everyone from before.

Belarus watched the commotion from his spot before he watched Ghost walk back. "Oh.. no, we just met.." He said quietly, looking away before he started to fiddle again. "I guess he attacked someone?" He asked, not really seeing everything that happened so.

Thirteen listened to his words and nodded, waiting for the first part of the day to start. For the first thirty minutes, it had all be hectic. People either refusing their medicine or starting fights with the guards. It's not that he didn't like the drama, because it was more entertaining than the boring activities they had to endure.

"Yea, a guard. Sorry to ask, but I didn't hear the morning announcements. Do you know what we're doing next?"
